A New Rival part 1
#3 of Your Move!
After yesterdays duel in the school yard Terrence was expelled at last for his bullying and things went back to normal in the school, minus Gen being the new popular kid around the school and every recess kids from freshmen to seniors challenged him to a duel only to be defeated.
"ARCHFIEND!! ATTACK!!!"
Gens Red Dragon Archfiend scorched the field at least a dozen times with match after match and after a long while Gen grew bored of this constant dueling until a new kid appeared before him after the final bell rang.
"Hey! you're name's Gen right?"
"Yeah."
"Name's Alex. and I was hoping to challenge you to a duel."
"Ah why not."
Both duelists went to the playground to begin their match as Gen and Alex activated their discs just as his parents pulled in along with his sisters who got off cheerleading practice.
"(both)DUEL!!"
Gen LP: 4000 Alex LP: 4000
"First move's mine....I summon masked dragon in attack mode!"
A small dragon appeared ready to fight as Alex smirked waiting for Gen to finish his move."
"I end with a face down. your move."
"Alright then....I summon Cyber Dragon!!!"
A mechanical dragon with 2100 attack points appeared on the field leaving the others shocked knowing the cyber dragons were some of the rarest cards in existence.
"Attack! Strident Blast!"
The two dragons tussled for a short moment as masked dragon was blasted to ashes as Gen flinched from the impact.
Gen LP: 3300 Alex LP: 4000
"Now I activate my dragons special ability! when he's destroyed I can summon a dragon with 1500 or less attack points! so come on out my second masked dragon!"
"Not bad kid. For now I end with two face downs."
"Oh wow that kid Alex is pretty good."
"Alex....ALEX KANE?!?"
"Wait Richard! you don't mean the world champ do you?!?"
"What! you...you're the world champion?!? *shakes head* it doesn't matter you're still going down! my move....I play the spell one for one and send my troop dragon to the graveyard to summon tuning supporter! then I play the tuner monster magma dragon!!"
With a tuner monster on the field Alex knew what was coming as his smile faded and began to focus more on the match.
"I tune level two magma drago with level three masked dragon and level one tuning supporter to summon Exploder Dragonwing!!!"
The lights began dancing around masked dragon as it transformed into a more powerful beast with Gen smiling triumphantly.
"It's turbo time! Exploder Dragonwing! ATTACK!!!"
The dragon let out a huge burst of hurricane winds destroying Alex's Cyber dragon but the champ remained unphased despite his life points taking a huge hit.

"Oh WOW!!"
"Way to go little brother!!"
Gens sister cheered him on for evening the score in one quick move but knowing he was dueling the champ Gen knew this duel was just getting started.
