Tales of the Stars Chapter 9: Seperation! Emil and Ricom's Adventure!

"Dang that explosion got us good." Ricom said while he was rubbing his head. "Yea, a second later, we would of been killed." Emil said while he was looking around to find the other. Emil looked back at Ricom and said "Um, where are the others?" Ricom looked at him and stopped rubbing his head and looked around only to find that there were in the forest, looking back at what happen, he remember that once they were off the submarine by using the pods, the submarine exploded and they all went off course. Ricom looked back at Emil and said "I-I don't know." Emil got surprised and then looked around again and said "Oh no! Where could they have gone?" Ricom got up and looked around as well. After couple of ours, they both came back to where they were. Emil looked at Ricom and said "Find anyone?" Ricom shook his head and fell to the ground and said "I hope they're ok." Emil fell to the ground and said "Yea, but more importantly are we?" Ricom looked around and said "Where in the forest." Emil glared at him and said "I can see that but where in the forest?" Ricom shrugged and Emil got up and punched his head, Ricom rubbed his head again and yelled "Why you do that?!" Emil turned away from him and then cracked his knuckles and said with a evil smile "That's for just being you." Ricom got up and looked around, saying, "Ok, which way are we going?" Emil pointed to the right and said "That way." Ricom looked at where he was pointing and said "But why?" Emil looked at where he was pointing and said "Because it just feels like something is there." Ricom shrugged and said "Fine then let's go." They then walked to the right of the forest.
"Are we there yet?" Ricom said.
"For the thousandth time, and I have been counting, no we aren't there." Emil said.
Ricom looked around and said "So much for "feel like something there." crap." Emil then hit Ricom's head with his scabbard hard, Ricom rubbed his head and heard Emil said "Did you feel that?" Ricom growled at him and said "Yea I did!" Emil smiled at him and said "Then shut up!" Ricom let out a sigh and said "All I'm just saying is-" But before he could continue, Something came down from the tree around them. Emil was about to pull out his sword while Ricom was about to pull to both of his daggers. Emil saw that they were a bunch of foxes, both boys and girls, that had loin cloths around them, they also had on their faces paint, having on their paws either swords or bows and arrows. Emil pulled out his sword and Ricom pulled out his daggers. Emil looked at them, they weren't moving from their spots, he then said "Who are you?" They didn't answer. Ricom got behind Emil and said "Looks like we have a problem." Emil replied "Yea, but we aren't going down without a fight." Ricom smiled and said "That's what I liked about you, Boss" Emil smiled back and said "Don't call me Boss." They then jumped at them form each side.
Emil sliced through there swords and arrows while Ricom's cold get passed there arrows and sliced there sword with ease. Finally, they beat all of them, yet they were really tired and fell to the ground, both laying next to each other. Emil and Ricom looked at each other and then smiled, they both then high-five each other and Emil said "We got all of them." Ricom replied "Yea, it looks like it." they both then looked up at the sky and Ricom said "Hey Emil." Emil stopped smiling and looked at him from the corner of his eye and said "Yea? What is it?" Ricom closed his eyes and said "What do you think of Nuko?" Emil got surprised and said "I only think of Nuko as a friend." Ricom let out a chuckle and said "Yea, but I think of her as something more." Emil turned his head and asked "You mean. . . as a girlfriend" Ricom shook his head and said "Yea, I really like her. She nice, kind, fun-loving, and cute. She's really perfect for me." Emil smiled at him and said "Then promise me something." Ricom turned his head and asked "What promise?" Emil pulled his paw out near Ricom and said "Promise me that you'll say that you love her after this is all over." Ricom looked at him with both determination and the bond of Emil's friendship and put his paw on his and then clutched it, saying, "Ok, I promise." Suddenly Ricom looked at him with pain and then fell asleep. Emil got surprised and then felt something on the back of his neck, he pulled the thing out of his neck and looked at it to see that it was a dart, suddenly, he felt himself get sleepy and then, he fell asleep.
Who were those people that Emil and Ricom attacked? What will happen to them? Where are Nuko, Shiro, and Diana? You'll have to fine out in the next Chapter!
