Note: My boyfriend asked me to upload my story up on here, so I decided that I would since he thinks I'm a good writer and I knew it would make him happy. I am kinda curious myself to see what others think too. This is my first story I've ever submitted so I hope you guys like it, it was my boyfriend's valentines day gift. It might become a series depending on the reception... who knows right? Enjoy! :)

The house was just as quiet as ever, with Martin patiently waiting for his beau. He laid down on the couch in the living room, the back of his head on the arm of the couch looking up to the ceiling smiling, as his silky black fur soaked into the couch. It had been a long day of work, he made sure that everything in the house was set; he wanted it to be perfect.

"Nick should be home soon," he thought, "I can't wait to see him."

It wasn't any sort of unique day - just any other day. But, Martin wanted it to be. Why should he have to wait until Valentines, Christmas, or a Birthday? If he could make everyday special for his dog he would.

Martin's ears perked up, "that was the sound of the front door opening." Martin sprang to his feet, his tail wagging in excitement. He walked fast to the door, maneuvering around a corner, but hearing Nick approaching slowed his pace to appear suave and collected. Martin saw Nick come in, he looked at his boyfriend, his tan and black furred German Shepherd. He obviously had a long exhausting day at work; he looked at the ground, eyes barely opened, going straight to the bed through spatial memory. He was a bit sweaty and smelled strong of musk, his pink button-up shirt ruffled up from working, as well as his tan kakis; his tail was lifeless. Despite this though, Martin thought he looked especially sexy.

Nick ran into Martin's black furred chest and looked up at Martin in surprise, "Hey you... I didn't think you'd be home so early."

Martin smiled wide, his yellow eyes penetrating his husband's brown eyes. "Well..." Martin kissed him, "I decided to come home early just so I could be with you."

Martin and Nick both had demanding jobs. Martin, a Psychologist, typically had 12+ hr. plus days, mostly due to him recently opening his own practice specializing in the treatment of Sexual Deviancies. Nicholas is the Senior Writer of a game development company, leading a team of writers to create a compelling story coherent for the respective game. Although his job didn't require as much hours as Martin's, they still didn't have much time to spend together aside from the weekends. This led to the same routine during the weekend, wake up, get ready for work, go to work, come home, eat dinner, talk a bit to Nick, have sex with him, and go to sleep, rinse wash repeat; it gets a bit derivative after a while.

Nick yawned, showing of his teeth and long tongue. "Hehe ok baby, well, since you're here what're we gonna be doing?"

"Follow me" Martin grasped Nick's paw, his fingers lightly cupped around Nick fingers, in a manner that said, "come." Martin began walking; leading his puppy towards the living room to the same couch Martin was lying on earlier.

"Lay down on your stomach, and take off your shirt."

Nick cheesed and did as instructed, unbuttoning his shirt quickly, and laid on his stomach. "I hope you enjoy this baby," Martin slowly climbed on top of Nick's rear and began to massage his shoulders, leaning down making sure to get especially deep.

Nick began to moan ever so gently, "I had such a rough day at work...." Martin proceeded to go down his furry back slowly, making sure to get within the rivers and valleys of his stress. "I mean you'd think a WRITER, would understand what characterization is and everything, but Christ, I guess I was wrong."

By this point Nicholas eyes were closed and you could tell he was relaxed, relaxed as the shore of a beach during the summer.

"Baby you're really good at this..." Nick said as he took a deep breath, exhaling out all the stress from the day and began panting. Martin smirked a little and made sure he got all the knots from his back.

"I just want to make you happy." Martin's hands were like medicine to Nick, every finger applied to his back was like morphine patches. Martin leaned down to Nicks folded ears as Nick panted.

"Nick."

"Yea?" Nick said weakly as his right ear twitched a little.

"You know I really lo-" at that exact moment, a loud grumbling noise erupted from the couch.

"Did you hear that?" another grumbling was heard.

Martin rose his left eyebrow, "Was that you Nick?"

Nick immediately began to blush, the red in his cheeks overpowering his black muzzle.

"I'm hungry." Nick said as he got up from under Martin, turning over to lie on his back with his paws up, looking Martin in his eyes whining. Martin chuckled seeing his cute dog beg for some food, and began rubbing on his large warm furry tummy.

Although some people don't find large stomachs sexy, Martin was one wolf that did, specifically on a male. He always enjoyed the fact his dog loved to eat, and relished the fact he got to rub Nick's stomach when it was nice and full.

Martin licked Nick's lips as he rubbed his stomach. "Hehe, good thing I'm one step ahead of you. Come to our bedroom in about five minutes okay?" Nick nodded, and with that Martin got up and disappeared within seconds from the room.

"He's such a great husband... I'm so lucky. It's hard to believe we've only been married for a year."

Nick got up from the couch, and started looking at the family pictures scattered across the room. Some of them were of prom, random dates, the night Martin proposed, and the day they married. Nick blushed, smiled, and looked down after looking at the picture of them kissing on their wedding day. Nick then started to reminisce about his wedding day with Martin, as he raised his hand and placed it on his collar. It was an absolute gorgeous day.

It was during the warm summer months in Alaska, the location being set up at Denali Park, on the shore of a lake in a forest area. The ceremony took place during the nighttime as fire lit lamps were scattered around the walkway which stretched from the courtyard where the seats were at, to the alter where the priest, and his husband to be was residing. Nick mind then relived those faithful moments when he walked on that holy path to the alter.

Each step he took stole a breath from him, even the presence of his family and friends couldn't stop his nerves, and he kept moving though, wanting to be close to his beau. As Nick walked a privately paid Robin Thicke played Angels in the background on a grandmaster white piano, and flashes of lights from cameras came at random intervals. Even nature put on a show by having the aurora borealis play in the sky, like the heavens themselves wanted the world to know just how special this day was, when two soul mates intertwined their loves. Despite all of this, Nick was focused only on getting from A to B, and kept walking seeing only Martin in his vision - nothing else mattered. Nick made it to the alter and looked at his wolfie, finally face-to-face Martin smiled at Nick looking in his eyes.

"You're finally here... You look beautiful."

"You do as well Martin..." Nick blushed turning away a little. Just from hearing his words, Nick felt an inner peace, and it seemed so did Nature as well, as the water in the lake was at a dead calmness, in addition to the forest around them.

Martin and Nick were wearing matching white tuxedos with black bow ties that perfectly accented their bodies. The black furred yellow-eyed wolf was perfectly contrasted with the white suit, while the brown and tan brown-eyed German Shepherd's suit complimented his body.

The priest began the ceremony and Martin and Nick easily flowed through their vows, however, instead of having traditional rings they each had something different. Martin presented a black leather collar with cursive white inscription and a silver pendant to show his love, and Nick got the same.

They both believed that a collar was much more symbolic than a ring, because a collar shows bondage, and they felt their bond was unbreakable. Even if they took off their collars the proof of their bond would still be imprinted around their neck. They were truly inseparable no matter where they were at, and they wanted to show it.

They each slowly bound it around each other's neck, both wagging during this joyous ceremony. Martin putting around Nick's neck first. Nick's inscription read, 'He howled...' and his pendent had the initials 'GSD' or German Shepherd Dog, Martin's first nickname for Nick. Nick put his around Martin's neck next; Martin's inscription read 'He answered...' with a pendent that said 'Wolfie', Nick's first nickname for Martin.

With the collars being given and the vows being said... The last thing left was the kiss. Martin and Nick turned to each other, Martin looking into Nick's beautiful brown eyes, while Nick looked into Martin's yearning yellow eyes, each of their hearts stopping for this brief period. "You may now kiss your husband." The silence from early continued, and again they only saw each other in their respective vision. They both leaned in to each other and their lips met in an exotic kiss as a tear rolled down each of their faces. It could only be described as a gentle and elegant, yet powerful dance like Ballet. With that kiss, they effectively sealed the meaning of their relationship.

"Come find me. You'll know where to go." Martin yelled down the stairs to Nick, who was still residing in the living room.

Hearing this sudden boast, Nick became conscious of the real world, and was slowly brought back to reality, recovering from Cupid's drug, realizing his hand was tracing his collar's inscription the whole time.

After coming back to reality, Nick went directly to the stairs. Once there he noticed that there were red petals scattered on each stair, appearing as if they fell from the heavens, signifying a path for him to follow. Nick slowly walked up the stairs, conversing through the stairs as if it was a portal to another world; it was. Each step brought him into darkness, with the only way to see provided by the candles that illuminated his path. He saw the end of his path... a door leading to the bedroom.

"A few more steps..."

Each step he took closer to the door was akin to walking the aisle. Nick was unsure... He was unsure of walking into the unknown, but in an odd twist of fate he felt secure knowing that his husband would never lead him astray from a virtuous and illuminating road. With that thought, he slowly placed his hand on the doorknob, and turned it.
