Round 2 part 2: This Fire Burns
Round two comes to a close Characters in here belong to me, except for Angel, and Singe, They belong to their owners. Enjoy.
Smith Johnson, me, Angel, Mayra, Josh Matthew, Nancy Cypress, and Jackie Cypress. Had already made it to the next round, there's only two left; Singe and Bob Orton. Are the last ones, winner advances to the next round, the loser goes home. Let the duels continue.
Jackie, just finished his duel against, Jon Anderson. As the winner that is. He walked in with a huge grin on his face. "Another win, by yours truly, please hold your applause, thank you." He boasted
"Please Cypress, save it for a contest that you can actually win at." Smith said, while leaning on his locker.
"I'm tired of you putting down, Smith. Someday I will beat ya Smith, mark my words." Jackie said getting agitated at Smith comments
"Shut up you two, gosh." Said another duelist by the name of Angel; a female wolf with raven-like wings.
"The next duel is starting." Mayra said while watching the television screen.
Two duelist walked to their sides of the field, one was a wasp. The other was a black dragon, they activated their duel disks, life point counters set, and they drew their five cards.
"Let's duel." They both said in unison
Singe LP:4000 Bob LP:4000
"I'll start." Bob said as he drew his card, " I summon Destiny Hero - Diamond Dude (ATK/1400 DEF/1600) Next I play the field spell Clock Tower Prison." A hologram of a clock tower appeared behind him. "And two cards face down. That's it." Two cards appeared face down.
Singe drew his card, "I summon Volcanic Slicer (ATK/1800 DEF/1200) and I use his effect; you take five hundred points of damage, but I can't attack this turn if I do. Fire away." His Slicer fired a fireball at Bob, making him lose life points. "Next I set this card face down and end my turn." A card appeared face down
Singe LP:4000 Bob LP:3500
Bob drew his card, "I tribute my Diamond Dude to summon my Destiny Hero - Dasher (ATK/2100 DEF/1000) attack his Slicer now." His Dasher attacked
"Activate trap; Draining Shield." Singe trap card revealed itself to Bob so he can see. "Instead of losing life points, this card increases my life points by how much your attacking monster is." Bob's Dasher attacked was stopped.
Singe LP:6100 Bob LP:3500
"I set this card face down and end my turn." Bob slid a card in his duel disk and a card appeared face down.
Singe drew his card, "I play Blaze Accelerator, and use its effect, by discarding a monster with five hundred or less attack points. I can destroyed one of your monsters." He discarded his monster card and his Blaze Accelerator fired destroying, Bob's Dasher.
"Go Destiny Mirage." Bob's card revealed itself, "When one of my monsters is destroyed by a card effect, I can bring it back." Bob's Dasher returned to the field.
"Good move, but I'm not done yet, I summon Solar Flare Dragon (ATK/1500 DEF/1000) next I play Swords of Revealing Light." Singe played the card in his disk and three glowing swords appeared around Bob. "I use my Slicer effect again and when I end my turn, you take another five hundred points of damage. I end my turn." Both of Singe's monsters shot fireballs at Bob
Singe LP:6100 Bob LP:2500
Bob drew his card, "I summon Destiny Hero - Dunker (ATK/1200 DEF/1700) I use his effect, by discarding a Destiny Hero from my hand and you take five hundred points of damage." He discarded his monster to the graveyard and Singe took damage.
Singe LP:5600 Bob LP:2500
"I set this card face down and end my turn." A hologram of a card face down.
Singe drew his card, "I summon Volcanic Rocket (ATK/1900 DEF/1400) attack his Dunker." His Volcanice Rocket was about to attack, until Bob pulled a fast one.
"Activate D - Shield, when one of my Destiny Heros is being attacked, I can switch it to defense mode and it can't be destroyed by battle." Bob's monster switched to defense mode and, Singe Volcanic attack didn't work.
"I use my Slicer effect again, and end my turn." Both of Singe's monsters hit Bob directly again.
Singe LP:5600 Bob LP:1500
Bob drew his card, "I summon Destiny Hero - Dread Servant (ATK/400 DEF/700) next I play Mystical Space Typhoon, to destroy your swords." A gust of wind destroyed Singe's swords, "Next I use my Dasher's effect, by tributing one monster on my side. He gains a thousand attack points." His Dread Servant shattered, Dasher (ATK/3100 DEF/1000) "Attack his Slicer." Bob's attack landed
Singe LP:4300 Bob LP:1500
"Next, I use my Dunker's effect, and set this card face down and end my turn." First he discarded another monster card and a card appeared face down.
Singe LP:3800 Bob LP;1500
Singe drew his card, "Okay, now I'm gonna destroy you, I play my Tri-Blaze Accelerator." His Blaze Accelerator shattered revealing a bigger one with three barrels. "Next I tribute it to summon this Volcanic Doomfire (ATK/3000 DEF/1800)" His Tri-Blaze Accelerator shattered. Fire burst from the floor and his monster climbed out. "What's the old saying again? 'out of the frying pan into the fire' Attack his Dasher, now." His monster attack landed destroying both of Bob's monsters.
Singe LP:3800 Bob LP:600
"What? How come both of my monsters were destroyed?" Bob asked
"When my Volcanic Doomfire attacks. He can destroy all your monsters and you lose five hundred for each." Singe explained
Singe LP:3800 Bob LP:100
"Now my dragon attack him directly." Singe's dragon was about to attack.
"D - Fortune, by removing one Destiny hero from play, I can end your battle phase." Bob trap card revealed itself, and a monster card slid out of his graveyard. He took it and put it in his deck box.
"It doesn't matter, you still lost. All I have to do is end my turn, I'm sorry this duel couldn't last longer. But I got a tournament to win, now feel the burn. I end my turn." Singe Solar Flare Dragon shot the finishing blow and brought, Bob's. Life points to zero. They deactivated their duel disks and the holograms turned off. Bob headed to the exit and Singe came to the back, collected his stuff and left without saying much. The rest of us went back to our hotel rooms.
"Thank you ladies and gentlemen for coming out and watching these spectacular duels and duelist's, tune in and come back tomorrow. Where Angel will go up against Mayra in the first duel in round three."
