"Rough" - A Furry Poem
Hi, this is just an introductory poem for you guys to see what I can do, I hope you enjoy it! I also hope to make many new furry friends by being as active as I can on this website. See you soon!
Yeah, you might say I have it rough,
Being a cat in a world full of dogs
Sometimes I feel like I've had enough,
Seeing lovebirds sitting on their logs.
Walking around 'til my paws are rough and sore
And trying to fit in, isn't that a joke?
I'm different, no denying, right to my very core.
Around and around in circles, I try not to mope.
Waiting for someone who sees
I'm not as rough as I seem.
I just need a shoulder for me to lean,
Or a ball of string, or even a bowl of cream.
Yeah, it's rough, but it's my life,
Even if it is full of strife
I wouldn't change it for the world
Now off to sleep, and into a ball I curled.
