"To Catch A Zord Pt. 3"

Previously on Power Fur Rangers, after the Green Dragon Zord was captured the rangers received a message from The Power Masked Rangers and they gave a chair to help recharge The Green Power Fur Ranger's power. Meanwhile The Evil Emperor sent another message asking for The Power Fur Rangers to join him. Lion agreed in order to buy time for Brian to finish his device. Will he finish in time? Lion looked at the slave collar he held in his paw and Uncle Buck smiled at him evilly. He knew that once he put it on he would be The Evil Emperor's slave and he doubted if The Evil Emperor would ever free him.

"Go on lad, show me that you're not lying." Uncle Buck said softly. He was The Evil Emperor in disguise but he played the part of being a rich, wealthy deer better than any actor. As Uncle Buck he was able to convince the city to trust him.

"And be your slave for life?" Lion asked sardonically.

"What makes you think you have a choice? I'll use your Megazord to destroy the city and everyone who lives here if you don't. Think of it as saving many lives... unless you care more about yourself than the species." Uncle Buck smiled his evil smile again and Lion gulped.

He knew he had no choice because even though The Evil Emperor could not be trusted he still had to put the city above himself. This was one of the sacrifices he would make as a Power Fur Ranger.

"And I can trust you won't hurt anyone if I do?" Lion asked as he glared at Uncle Buck as he removed a set of glasses and began to wipe them clean. He was intentionally stalling knowing that any sense of urgency was meaningless to him. He was winning and he knew it.

"You gotta transport him back here before he puts that thing on." Zyler exclaimed. The others nodded but Zolton sighed deeply.

"We must trust in Lion to make the right choice. Lion knows that if this can save the lives of everyone in Gold City then it will be worth it." Zolton said solemnly.

"Is there anything we can do to help Brian finish his device?" Terri said after she made a few clicking noises with her mouth.

"No, no, no, no I'm afraid to disturb him because it could delay him even more." Clank said.

"So we just sit here waiting for The Evil Emperor to win or Brian finishes his device." Zyler replied sourly.

"I just had a thought," Tom said as he stood up from the recharging chair. "Is there any contingency in case the MegaZord goes rogue?"

"Negative. We never had to face something like this before the zords were secure against virus or magic attacks." Clank answered.

"LIKE we need a self destruct program to prevent the MegaZord from hurting all the species in the city." Lisa replied.

"If we did that then we'd lose the zords forever." Zolton said.

"Hold on! I'm getting a message from Brian." Clank said suddenly as a light was flashing on the control panel. The robot pressed a few buttons and Brian appeared on the view screen.

"Hey guys," Brian said shyly.

"Brian, please tell us you have finished the device." Zyler shouted.

"Negative. No matter what I try I can't get past the firewall of the Zords. I have no idea how The Evil Emperor's magic was able to do it." Brian said and the rangers shook their heads in dismay.

"Then all is lost." Zyler said.

Lion stood wearing only his fur and the slave collar. He had finally put it on and Uncle Buck had ordered The Kin to strip him of his old clothing and to dress him in an expensive looking suit, like what Uncle Buck was wearing, and The Kin were obeying but taking their time as they showed their disgust towards The Red Power Fur Ranger.

Lion felt embarrassed to be there in only his fur with The Kin staring at him and whispering comments to each other. He thought he heard whispered laughter coming from them. He was relieved when they brought a suit over and began to dress him after one of The Kin held out a pair of expensive underwear for him to step into.

He was surprised he felt a new sense of power to be wearing something so extravagant but the feeling was short lived. Uncle Buck snapped his finger and Lion quickly stepped over to him and awaited orders.

" You look better," uncle Buck mused. "Are you ready to destroy your friends The Power Fur Rangers?"

"Yes Master." Lion said as sadness filled his words.

"No my boy, you will refer to me as Uncle Buck. I can't have you calling me master now can I?" Uncle Buck said as he pressed his thumb against the clasp on the slave collar.

"Yes Uncle Buck." Lion replied and he felt the slave collar force him to say Uncle Buck instead of Master. Uncle Buck smiled at him as he pulled out an expensive day planner that kept his schedule organized as his Uncle Buck persona.

"Where is your Power Ring?"

"I gave it back to Zolton," Lion replied and he saw the eyes of the deer glow red with anger.

"You did what?!" The image of Uncle Buck vanished as he transformed back into The Evil Emperor. "Who told you to do that?" The Evil Emperor roared.

"Zolton ordered me to before I left." Lion said softly as he looked at his feet. The Evil Emperor calmed himself slightly.

"Well since your days of being a Power Fur Ranger are over it only makes sense. Let's go back to my lair on the moon and show you your new room." The Evil Emperor's eyes began to glow again and they were instantly transported back to his throne room.

An alarm sounded and everyone turned to look at the monitor as Clank pressed some buttons on the keyboard. A separate monitor showed Lion and The Evil Emperor transporting back to the moon lair.

"No, no, no. no, Lion is in trouble." Clank exclaimed.

"I don't think so. He seemed willing as they left." Tom replied.

"LIKE anyone see the slave collar on him?" Lisa said and the others nodded.

"Now what?" Terri asked.

"Well I have a plan but it's very risky." Brian said they all turned to look at the monitor he was projected on. "We have no choice. We have to destroy the Megazord and Green Dragonzord." He said firmly as the others gasped in shock.

"You can't be serious! We'll never stand a chance the next time The Evil Emperor makes a monster grow." Zyler replied.

"He might be right," Tom agreed as they turned to look at him. "Without them The Evil Emperor will weaken his position."

"That's only a small part of it. I have created plans to create new zords to replace the old. They will be immune to the magic of The Evil Emperor as I upgraded the new firewall to 2.0 status." Brian exclaimed.

"LIKE how long will it take to build them?" Lisa asked.

"Once the old zords are destroyed I can have the new ones uploaded and created in about an hour. The trouble is that we will be helpless during that time." Brian explained.

"Unless we create a diversion." Tom said as he smiled and it took the others a minute to catch on.

"So we destroy the zords and buy some time to get the new ones created. I'm down with that but how do we save Lion?" Zyler asked.

"Maybe that can be the diversion. We sneak aboard The Evil Lair and rescue Lion while Brian finalizes the new zords." Terri said.

"You won't believe the new zords I created but for now I'm keeping them as a surprise." Brian said as he inserted a disk into his computer and the disk was transported to The Secret Base. Clank removed it and handed it to Zyler who looked at it sadly knowing what it meant.

"Insert that in the cockpit of the zords and they will overload and explode. Just make sure you get out of there quickly." Brian explained.

"I'll handle it," Tom said and the others stared at him.

"Who made you leader?" Zyler asked sourly.

"Someone has to, until Lion returns. Are there any other volunteers?" Tom asked as the rest fell silent. "Then it's settled until Lion returns." Tom stated and the others just shrugged but accepted. Lisa glared at him but remained silent.

In The Evil Lair, Lion tried to remain calm as he was surrounded by the minions of The Evil Emperor. Nick was brought out, chained, and his face distorted slightly as Lion looked at him with repulsion on his face.

One of the Kin removed the chains and Nick screamed as the spell he was under finally wore off and he transformed fully back into Gollip.

"Pitiful, pitiful, pitiful the pit is full, pitiful." Gollop muttered and he looked in surprise as The Evil Emperor sat on his throne in golden armor.

"Master!!!!" Gollip shrieked with delight and he ran and wrapped himself around one of the legs of The Evil Emperor and nuzzled it affectionately.

"How long before you turn me into.... that." Lion asked sourly and this made The Evil Emperor erupt with laughter.

"His story is unique. You see he and my wife fell in love. I wasn't about to let the love of my life get together with a Power Fur Ranger. So I gave them a choice, one they could not refuse! They end their relationship and my wife uses her magic to twist him into a faithful loving slave of mine. She was quick to agree because otherwise I would have destroyed him. Strange he serves a purpose from time to time.

I used my own magic to make the change irreversible and no matter how much Zolton tries he'll never get his Classic Black Power Fur Ranger back to normal. I like him as my loyal pet but you, my lad, are much better as my faithful secretary. We are going to hold a press conference and you will insist that the city surrenders to me or I'll destroy it with The Power Fur Ranger Megazord." The Evil Emperor explained.

"What about your brother? The Green Dragon Zord! Still not gonna let his soul rest in peace after trapping it and torturing him." Lion said calmly, showing no emotion as The Evil Emperor glared. Lion was beginning to learn that The Evil Emperor delights in getting a rise out of him but if he seemed unphased then that would ruin his mood. It was a small thing but it was a small way he could rebel.

The Evil Emperor waved him off then looked down in disgust at Gollip and kicked his leg that Gollip clung to as hard as he could and sent Gollip flying into the wall. The image of the Evil Emperor vanished and he transformed into Uncle Buck. The deer stood watching Lion as he was dressed immaculately in a suit that was more expensive than the one Lion was wearing.

"Let's practice your lines," Uncle Buck said and Lion nodded obediently.

"Powered By A Dragon!" Tom shouted.

"Shabot Ve Sum, Baby" The rest shouted as they crossed their paws in front of them making 'X' shapes then closed their eyes. They quickly opened their eyes as they extended their index and middle fingers as if they were unsheathing claws. They then clasped their paws together as if holding a ball of energy and motioned to pull their paws behind their backs.

"Power of The Green Power Fur Ranger." Tom Shouted.

"Power of The Black Power Fur Ranger." Zyler Shouted.

"Power of The Pink Power Fur Ranger." Lisa Shouted.

"Power of The Blue Power Fur Ranger." Brian shouted.

"Power of The Yellow Power Fur Ranger." Terri Shouted. They then motioned as if they were throwing the energy like a fireball forward. The rings they wore transformed into a gray colored goo that quickly completely enveloped their bodies. The goo hardened and became their Power Fur Ranger outfits that looked as thin as spandex but stronger than the toughest steel. The helmets they wore had blackened slots where the eyes were so they could see out of it. Their bodies seemed androgynous and the armor made it appear as if they had more muscle mass than they actually had. Tom had a silver vest that had gold dragons on it. The vest appeared as flimsy as a cloth material, the same as the outfit but in reality it was stronger than carbon steel.

They were transported to an area near the Evil Lair where they were sure to not be seen while The Green Power Fur Ranger landed near to where The Megazord and Green Dragon Zord rested. He looked and saw Lady Mantis had fallen asleep from boredom giving him an excellent chance to sneak aboard the zords.

He crept into the cockpit of The Megazord and looked around then placed a CD into a slot. He typed 15 minutes into the console and it began to count down until The Megazord exploded. He reached out to tenderly touch the console in a moment of regret that he was destroying the very thing that had helped them so many times before.

He jumped from The Megazord and climbed inside The Green Dragonzord. He approached a control panel when suddenly his head throbbed. He swayed as dizziness filled him and as he prepared to fall he suddenly heard the voice of Axelrod the dragon.

He was the brother of The Evil Emperor that had his soul trapped by a spell The Evil Emperor cast and his soul was transformed by The Green Power Fur Ranger into The Green Dragonzord.

"Hold..." The voice said as The Green Power Fur Ranger leaned against the wall as the feeling slowly passed.

"How can we regain control?" The Green Power Fur Ranger asked as he rubbed the side of his helmet forgetting that he could not feel it.

"Release..." The voice replied and The Green Power Fur Ranger was confused. Axelrod never spoke more than one word which was rare because he never spoke. If he was talking now it must be very important and he must have guessed what he was planning.

"How?" A green light flashed on the opposite wall and he saw a red button that sat there. He crept closer and saw it was an emergency release button. He suddenly realized it would send the dragon spirit back to the holding place inside the orb The Evil Emperor used to trap it.

"I'll have to time it perfectly otherwise they may try and stop The Megazord's destruction. He wished that the same device was installed in the Megazord but he guessed if one did them Brian would have told them. He took a deep breath as he waited for the remaining time to run out.

The Power Fur Rangers crept towards The Evil Lair as its shining silver walls had golden lightning bolts to decorate it. The sight of it made them shiver uncontrollably because it appeared much friendlier than it actually was. The shining walls hiding the evil that resided inside.

They entered the throne room where only Lion stood by himself waiting. The room was dimly lit but just enough that they could see their friend standing by himself unguarded. They were amazed at the expensive suit, he was wearing, as he stood there with his paws crossed behind his back. They crept over to him and he flinched as he saw The Power Fur Rangers approach.

"What are you guys doing here?" He asked softly.

"We're here to save you." The Black Power Fur Ranger replied as he grabbed Lion's shoulders.

"Brian came up with a plan and we're ready to fight back against The Evil Emperor." The Yellow Power Fur Ranger said.

"Good but unfortunately I can't leave," He said as he revealed the collar on his neck.

"LIKE we know, but can't we just remove it somehow?" The Pink Power Fur Ranger asked. Lion sternly shook his head

"Even if we tried to use the key to unlock it The Evil Emperor put a spell that it will only unlock IF he uses the key." Lion explained as he removed a key from his pocket that was attached to a necklace and showed them. "He gave me the key to try it myself to show that I am completely under his power.

"Aw that's wack," The Black Power Fur Ranger exclaimed. The lights in the throne room instantly lit as The Evil Emperor and Empress entered casually.

"Lion, my boy, you should have told me we have guests." The Evil Emperor said sarcastically. He and his wife glided over to their thrones and sat on them then the red glowing eyes of the Evil Emperor glared at The Power Fur Rangers.

"Hey creep! Let our friend go!" The Black Power Fur Ranger demanded. and The Evil Emperor laughed.

"Do you think I'd give up such a prized species? You may join him if you wish. Better to be my slaves instead of half a team struggling as I conquer the planet." The Evil Emperor retorted.

"Pitiful, pitiful, pitiful." Gollop said as he crawled into the throne room and stood next to Lion. Lion glared briefly at the creature next to him but did nothing but turned to look at his friends.

"Gollip?!" The Pink Power Fur Ranger gasped as she saw it.

"Yes the spell he was under finally wore off revealing his true nature." The Evil Emperor said.

"S-S-S give up now and we'll go easy on the species of your world or you can learn the hard way how we handle those that oppose us." The Evil Empress sneered. Lion saw her look at Gollip briefly then she shook her head.

"Sorry buddy we're outta time." The Black Power Fur Ranger said to Lion as a large explosion was heard from the planet. The large window that faces the planet zoomed in as The Megazord and The Green Dragon Zord exploded as the zords exploded into wires and pieces. The Green Dragon Zord seemed to disappear while the parts of The Megazord were blown about with wires everywhere.

The Power Fur Rangers ran out an exit and transported to the location of where The MegaZord had once been. The Power Fur Rangers whined as they saw what remained but they had no time as The Blue Power Fur Ranger and The Green Power Fur Ranger joined them.

"RCL Make my monster grow!!!!" The Evil Emperor growled. In the corner of his throne room sitting on a pedestal was what looked like the head of the former Crow leader wearing a mask to make it look like a Crow's face. The eyes suddenly glowed red as the magic took effect to bring it to life.

"As you wish My Lord time to re-energize, re-vive, and en-large your monster. Here we gooo!!!" RCL said and it fired two beans towards the planet that struck the fallen monster. It began to glow as it grew to the side of a skyscraper and roared as its wounds healed.

"Link completed! Now everything the monster feels I'll feel also!" RCL replied though no one was listening to it. Then Lady Mantis grew as she stared down at The Power Fur Rangers.

"Your foolish friends have doomed themselves and your little planet.

"We'll see," Lion replied solemnly then he turned to watch.

"Get ready guys because you're about to meet our new zords!" The Blue Power Fur Ranger said as the others looked at him wondering. He removed a remote control and activated it as a bright light shone around the remains of the destroyed zords and the pieces flew up into the sky and began to reform into new zords as lightning flashed everywhere and struck all around them.

"Power Fur Rangers I give you your new Lightning Zords!" They each heard Zolton say and even Lion, on the moon, heard him though he was the only one.

"Unbelievable!" The Green Power Fur Rangers exclaimed.
