Chapter 5: Gym badges, Fira Evolves?

The following days started to meld together in a blur as I went about actually putting some training of Yuna and Fira. I took on a couple trainers outside of Violet city. We lost a few but we came back and came out on top. I watched as Fira got stronger. Surprising me with every battle we went through.

Though to say the least I kept treating her after every victory. Even Yuna has gotten stronger too. I could tell their level were increasing with every battle we had.

Eventually I took on the trainers inside Bell Sprout tower and also taking on the master of it as well. I obtain the move flash as well. Which I immediately taught to Fira. One thing I was glad about actually living in the pokemon world. Is that normally you only had four spots for moves for each pokemon so you had to sacrifices ones that weren't of use. I didn't know the extent to this prospect though. I didn't know how much a pokemon can know. Eventually I will learn this as I continued on my journey.

I kept up training the two, getting them strong enough where we could go up against the Gym leader.

I sat in the pokemon center at a booth over in the café side with Yuna and Fira. We all were enjoying our lunch. When someone I never saw before walked up to us. He wore a sleeveless shirt and baggy shorts. He had bright green hair. I guess he dyed it. It stood up in spikes. 'Trying to hard' I thought.

“Are you Will?" He asked. The guy had a smug grin on his face as he peered at my two pokemon.

“Yeah, what of it?" I asked looking at him. I watched him pull out a pokeball from his pocket.

"I challenge you to a battle." He asked.

“Uhm this is a little out of no where." I said, more in a low tone. I glanced at Fira and Yuna who both were looking at me and the trainer. “Don't this normally happens outside and not in a pokemon center?"

He slapped his hand on his face grunting. “Ugh of course not here, we're going to go battle somewhere else. Are you stupid?"

My eye twitched a bit at his remark. “So what do I call you?"

He popped out his thumb and slammed it into his chest. I winced a little, feeling like that would've hurt. However he wasn't even bothered.

“My name is Cylo, I'm going to be a pokemon master." He said, he made a stance that made him look like some super hero about to make a monologue.

I snorted and went into a fit of laughter. Both Yuna and Fira joined in with me.

Cylo face went bright red, “Hey whats so funny?"

“Alright kid, I'll accept your challenge. You already know my name, so lets get on with this." I stood up grabbing my normal backpack and strapping it on. Fira hopped onto my shoulders and settled into her normal spot, Yuna ran along side me.

I followed Cylo out of the Center and into a field some ways from the center. I looked around and noticed that there were several other trainers all sitting around. Seems that they were going to watch. I didn't mind at all, I look at my two pokemon deciding which one to go with first. I decided to go with Yuna first.

“Rules are simple, first one to have no more battle ready pokemon looses. I must add that I'm pretty strong. I come from Goldenrod and I already have two gym badges." He said in a cocky tone.

Two badges?! I thought, the cocky kid. Like I just started my journey and had no badges.

“Now hold on, how is that even fair. This is a starter town, how can someone like you be here." I said. I looked around at the other trainers who all had a grin on their faces. “Oh I get it, you all put him up to this. All because I defeated you all. Classy guys."

Cylo laughed at me, “I haven't the foggiest idea what you going on about."

He grabbed a pokeball from with pocket, “Alright Flaafy, time to shine."

My mouth dropped as the electric type sheep pokemon appeared from a red beam. It rubbed its face than took on a battle ready stance.

'Shit this is going to be hard.' I thought, 'Should I change to Fira or stick with Yuna, It wouldn't make a difference in type advantage. Yuna only knew quick attack, scratch and wait…. Iron tail. I forgot she learned that. That might be my ace.

“Yuna your up first, be careful this one might be a lot stronger than you. BE on your toes." I said to my Sentret. Yuna simply nodded and dashed forward. Fira sat on my shoulders and watched.

“You sending out that." Cylo said mocking me. He stuck his tongue out and pulled down on one of his eyes. “This is gonna be easier than I thought."

My eye twitched once more with annoyance. I honestly wanted to just punch this kid. He was starting to piss me off. Cocky…..

“Flaafy flank that sentret and use thundershock." He called out. Sure enough Flaafy darted to one side, shortening the distant from it and Yuna.

I watched as arks of electricity started to form in and around its fluffy fur. It point one of its arms out and out shoot a bolt of lightning that raced across towards Yuna.

Quick thinking, more like instinct. “Yuna use Quick Attack to dodge. Then follow up with another to close the distant."

Yuna whole body blurred as the lightning raced by her with mere inches. I watched as Yuna darted around the field, going side to side, getting closer to Flaafy. Yuna slammed herself into it, making the pokemon fall back.

“Flaafy, use scratch." Flaafy growled, producing claws. It took a swipe at Yuna.

“Yuna dodge that, circle around and use scratch from behind." I barked. Yuna crouch low dodging the attack. She ran around and attacked from behind. Yuna scratched across the back of Flaafy which the pokemon cried out in pain. Though to my dismay, I watched at Yuna winced from something. I took a closer look and could see small arks go around her. 'Shit paralysis' Not good, Yuna's over all movement will be cut drastically. However I watched as she continued to dart herself away from the crying pokemon.

“Flaafy get it together. Use full power thundershock." Wait what did he mean full power?

I watched as the Flaafy started to glow intensely. It held both its arms close to one another. Yuna watched as the Pokemon charged its attack.

'Shit what am I going to do…….' I thought of something.

“Yuna come here." Yuna darted towards me and hopped into my arms.

“Listen carefully. Pay close attention to when it launches it's attack. As soon as it does you will have only one chance to do this. I want you to jump as high into the air as you can and when you come down use Iron tail. Aim for the head." I told her. She looked at me for a second before nodding. She understood what to do.

Soon enough the Flaafy started to run forward, it shot its arms out unleashing a powerful lightning bolt. I watched in amazement as Yuna followed my order. She slapped her tail hard onto the ground helping her to go even higher into the air, the lightning bolt ran within inches under her. Flaafy gasped, she tried to stop herself. With Yuna momentum, her body began to roll forward, her tail started to glow silver and changed form entirely. Iron tail was a fairly powerful move. Specially if you hit it right. Yuna slammed her tail on top of the Flaafy head, the pokemon cried out. It fell in a heap on the ground.

I blinked as Yuna came running up to me. “You did it, way to do Yuna." I said.

Cylo growled and cursed, “Not over yet, I still have one more. Croconaw your turn." I heard him yell. I watched as the water pokemon appeared.

“Well shit, now things are going to get really hard." I cursed. I looked at Yuna who was staring at the crocodile looking water type. I honestly didn't know if she would be able to take it on.

Yuna looked up at me, nodding. I nodded back knowing what she wanted. “Alright Yuna, seems your work isn't done yet." I told her. Yuna ran back out onto the battlefield and looked up at the croconaw. It peered down at Yuna, it cracked a toothy smile.

“Croconaw, use water gun." Cylo yelled out.

The Croconaw slowly opened it mouth and took a deep breath before expelling torrent of water out of it's mouth. It head directly for Yuna.

“Yuna Dodge it." I yelled. Yuna barely got out of the way, the water torrent exploded which cause dirts to go everywhere. 'Damn it if only I had an electric pokemon, this would've been easy.' I thought to myself. If I'm going to pull this win. I'm going to have to come up with something in order to pull this one off.

I thought hard, “Yuna use quick attack to circle around that croconaw." I yelled, she took a glance at me. I hope she figures what I was intending her to do. Sure enough, she started to circle around the croconaw low and fast. The croconaw kept shooting more water guns. Soon the effects of going encircles started to make the croconaw spin.

Next thing I saw is Yuna suddenly jumped into the air, she began to spin as her tail started to glow again. The iron tail hit the side of Croconaw face, I watched in horror as it reached out and grabbed her tail. Croconaw proceeded to spin her around until it slammed Yuna onto the ground. Yuna gasped out for air, trying her best to regain her breath.

“Croconaw use crunch." I watched in horror as the Croconaw lunged itself into the air, opening its jaws wide. It bite down hard on Yuna who was still on the ground. Yuna cried out in pain until she fainted. I immediately pulled her pokeball out and recalled her. I held her pokeball in my hand as I stared at it.

Anger flooded me, I cursed as I looked at my remaining pokemon. Fira has been watching the whole thing unfold from my shoulders. I didn't want to throw her out there. She would be at a total type disadvantage. However there wasn't much to go on.

“Will I can do this." Fira said in my ear. Her confidence showed on her face. She leaped from my shoulder and ran onto the battle field.

“Okay just be careful. I don't want anything to happen to you." I said. I felt a ping of sorrow as I thought of Yuna.

Cylo laughed as he saw Fira entered the fray. “A fire type versus a water type. Don't you know that your at a complete disadvantage."

Fira back erupted with intense flame, she ignored the punk. “Alright Fira. Lets try our best." I yelled. Fira simply nodded and looked up at the smirking Croconaw.

“Croconaw blast that Cyndaquil with water gun." Once again the water type shot a column of water from it's mouth. Fira leaped to the side dodging it.

“Fira bite it." I yelled. Fira ran up, opening her mouth wide, she chomped down on it's side. It roared in pain as it thrashed around trying to knock Fira off. Finally it succeeded, it grabbed her and threw her into a near by tree. She fell to the ground, she stood back up. Determination on her face.

"Fira use smokescreen." I called out.

Fira opened her mouth and black smoke began to flow out. Soon the whole field was covered in a thick haze of black smoke.

“That's not going to work." I heard Cylo yelled. I smirked.

“Fira use emder." I watched as fire shot across the field and hit the croconaw. I heard it hiss. I honestly couldn't see much of what was happening. I only could trust in Fira.

Fira moved around the field, through the thickness of the smoke. She managed to get close enough to the Croconaw before unleashing another ember on it. Croconaw sensed this and jumped out of the way.

“Dang it." Fira hissed, 'He's fast for his size." Fira circled around the Croconaw, she dashed forward using the move quick attack.

She slammed her small frame against the side of the Croconaw. Which it hissed in pain, it reached around grasping hold onto one of her legs. It swung her up into the air before slamming her into the ground. Fira gasped out in pain as her body rebounded off the hard ground. Soon after she felt a wet jet hit her flinging her across the field. The smoke screen was starting to dissipate.

Fira with great struggle stood up onto her legs once more. The flames on her back started to dim.

“FIRA." I yelled as I caught sight of her. She was wobbling from side to side as she barely stood. “Come on, that's enough."

“NO." She roared, Flames erupted from her back. She opened her mouth and launched several fire balls at the water type. It merely stood there taking the hit. It laughed as it shot another column of water at Fira. She barely had enough time to dodge the hit.

“Damn it Fira." I yelled.

“What's Wrong noob, tired of seeing your pokemon get hurt. Alright Croconaw let's end this. Use Slash followed by Water gun." Cylo yelled.

Croconaw lowered its body as it dashed forward running full blast at Fira who was trying to get out of the way. Croconaw brought a claw up, Fira's eyes went wide. Croconaw brought its claw down with a blur as it slashed across Fira face, It opened its mouth shooting a massive column of water point blank at Fira. She took both hits, her small frame was sent flying. She slammed into a near by tree. Blood could be seen flowing down one side of her face.

My eyes widen from shock as I dashed forward to her side. She wasn't moving at all, I slammed myself onto my knees as I scooped her into my arms.

Tears started to rolled down my face. “Fira, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." I said in between deep breaths. I held her into my arms.

'Fira's Dream State'

Fira found herself flouting in a massive space. She looked around her trying to figure out where she was. Stars and interesting shapes of lights and clouds could be seen as far as the eye can see.

“My child, what have you done?" Fira jumped as she looked around for the voice.

“Mother?" Fira said.

“Yes my child, I think it's time to show you why I picked you. I'm blessing you with some of my power, use it well my child. That boy needs you more than you need him." Arceus said.

Fira felt warmth wash over her as her body began to glow.

'In reality'

“So punk I think it's time you give me my money now." Cylo said with a smug look. “Better luck next time."

I looked up at him with anger and hatred in my eyes as I held Fira limp body in my arms.

As I reached into my pocket for my wallet, my eyes got blinded by a light. A light that was emanating from Fira. I slowly placed her down onto the ground and watched.

"Wait she's evolving?" I said. “How?"

“WHAT!" Cylo yelled covering his eyes with his arm.

I watched as Fira body began to change in form. Her body got longer, her small little tail that she had grew longer. Her legs got longer as well. I felt the heat that was coming from her. It grew hotter and hotter.

Fira stood up on her legs as the light started to fade. Her evolution completed, slowly she opened her eyes, I felt a bit of sadness as I saw that the wound that she sustained earlier changed with her becoming a scar over her left eye.

My mouth fell open as I looked at the Quilava. I honestly didn't know how or rather why she evolved. Fira looked at the Croconaw, she lowered her front half as she readied her over half to dash forward.

“Fira are you sure?" I said.

“Let's finish this Will." Fira said. I could hear her determination in her voice.

I nodded. “Alright you have the field."

“Wait we won the battle!" Cylo yelled in protest.

“Fira not out yet as you can see Cylo. Seems you woke something up in her." I told him.

“Fine, you Cyndaquil evolving into a Quilava makes no difference. It's still at a type disadvantage." HE said. “Cro…."

Before Cylo said anything else, Fira dashed forward her flames around her neck blazed brightly and with intensity. She opened her mouth, flames started to flow out of her mouth and form around her. Completely engulfing her with fire. She ran full force towards the Croconaw. It could clearly see the danger and tried to move out of the way. Fira saw this and jumped into the air. She slammed her entire body into the head of the croconaw. Flames engulfed the water type. It roared out in pain as flames burned its body.

Fira landed onto the ground and followed up with another move that I could recognize, she jumped into the air and spun forward. Sending another fire attack at the Croconaw. It roared even louder.

To my total amazement. The Croconaw finally started to wobble from side to side before falling backwards. Its body laid in a slump.

Fira landed near me and had a grin on her face.

“FIRA." I said as I ran towards her. I picked her up and spun her around in excitement. I couldn't believe that we won that battle.

Cylo looked like he was about to explode. “How?"

“I guess with enough determination anything is possible." I said simply. “I'm not going to ask for money like you. Just knowing I bested you is enough.."

“But I have more badges than you. Your just a starter trainer. I should've been able to beat you. How did your Cyndaquil evolve?" He said.

“I don't know myself Cylo, but the fact that you have more gym badges and still lost. IT seems you need more learning. I saw how you treated your pokemon. You need to be nicer to them. Their your partners not your slaves." I said.

He deflated as he returned his pokemon to it's pokeball.

I held Fira in my arms as I started to head back to the pokemon center.

I had a smile on my face. I looked at Fira who was too smiling at me. We were ready to face the first gym leader.

But first…..

I took us back to the pokemon center for a much needed rest and heal Yuna from the battle with Cylo. Fira with her lengthen body curled herself completely around my neck and was laying her head on my right shoulder. I smiled as I looked at her. “Fira, I've been meaning to ask this. What was that?" I asked.

“What do you mean?" Fira looked at me. Her head tilted to one side.

“Your evolution, I wasn't expecting you to evolve until at least Azalea town. Like when we are going up against the second gym leader." I said.

Fira uncurled herself, she leaped down onto the floor. Nurse joy was just handing back the pokeball containing Yuna. I thanked her and motioned Fira to follow me.

“Well to be honest I'm not entirely sure myself, I remember being hit by that Croconaw but the rest is a bit fuzzy. I remembering hearing a voice, and then my whole body started to heat up." She said. She placed a paw up to her chin.

“I guess it really doesn't matter. I'm just happy your alright. You had me worried after that series of attack by that Croconaw." I told her. I kneel down and petted her. She cooed at me.

“How about a good bath tonight, I'm tired after that battle." She said, Fira ran the rest of the way to our bedroom.

I chuckled as I unlocked our door. Fira ran and leaped onto our bed. I placed my backpack next to my larger rucksack. I looked at Fira who was laying on her stomach, her face buried in the sheets. “You know I do remember hearing mothers voice right before I evolved. Something about why I was one of the chosen to be your pokemon." She said.

I sat down next to her, placing a hand on her back. I ran my fingers through her soft fur. Her heat warming my hand. “Well I can only imagine why she would pick you. You have something inside you that I have never seen in a pokemon."

Fira stood up and hopped down onto the floor, she walked herself over to the bathroom door. “Can I have a bath please?" She asked.

I smiled, I got up and gathered her shampoo and conditioner. I opened the bathroom and led us both inside. Fira waited as I turned the faucet on, allowing the water to warm up. I looked at Fira who was staring at me. “What wrong?"

“Have you thought more about what I said that time in Cherrygrove city?" She asked.

“About us?" I said, knowing instantly what she was getting at.

I plugged the drain to allow the tub to fill with water. “I still mean what I say Will. I instantly developed feeling for you." She said.

I stared at the tub as it filled with steamy water. I took note the size of the tub itself. It was surely big enough for the two of us.

I stood up as Fira watched me. She instantly started to blush as I started to undress. “What are you doing?" She asked.

“I figured we could take a bath together. Is that okay?" I asked, looking at her.

She looked at me, “I think that would nice." I finished undress myself until my naked form sat crouched next to the tub, waiting for it to finish filling. The tub itself was pretty large. I ran my hand through the water testing it. I stood up slowly and stepped into the tub. I motioned Fira to hopped in.

She did so, splashing a bit of water at me. I shielded my face as I chuckled a bit. Fira overall body size was definitely larger than when she was a cyndaquil. She floated on her back sighing as she enjoyed the hot steamy water.

I stared at her as she floated.

“To be honest Fira, do you even know how old I am?" I asked.

“Old enough." She replied simply.

I chuckled, “I'm sixteen, I'm old enough for a lot of different things. But I don't know even know how old you are."

She lifted her head up and looked at me. She rolled onto her belly facing me. “I lived a life before this one Will. I was another trainers partner. I know what a human can do." She said.

I blushed a bit as I knew what she was implying. “What would people think? Isn't it taboo to be intimate with a pokemon?"

Fira looked down into the water, staying quiet for a bit. “To be honest, I'm not sure. I honestly don't care. I believe in happiness of being in love Will." She said. I looked up to the ceiling as I slowly leaned back against the wall.

I sighed. “Alright if this is what you want. I will not stop you."

She looked at me, her eyes wide. “Are you sure?" She asked.

I brought my hands out and wrapped my arms around her, bringing her closer to me. Her wet fur brushed against my bare chest. Ultimately sending shivers down my back. I looked at her, her red eyes staring back at me. I saw that she really wanted this. I slowly brought my face ever so close to her. Until I placed my lips onto hers. I felt her body melt into my arms.

I was never really good at this sort of thing however instincts took over. I probe her mouth with my tongue, I felt her hesitate a bit before following my motives. She slowly opened her mouth so our tongues could meet in the middle. I felt a jolt go through my entire body, all the way down to my toes. My heart began to beat even harder. Our tongues wrapped around each other, I ran my hand down her back. She moaned a bit. I could taste her mouth on mine. Something about it drew me closer, wanting more.

A bit surprise at my overall willingness to this. I know back when I was still in my old world, I was into this sort of thing but to actually to be doing it. Made me feel that this couldn't be happening. We continued our kiss until she slowly pushed against me, pulling away. Her breath heavy, Fira looked at me. She wanted me. Of course my other part of me wanted to too. She looked down seeing that I was hard.

The tip of my member poked above the water, she brought a paw down slowly feeling it. Her face was deep red.

“Before we continue I must say, I am very new to this. I am a virgin." I said.

Fira smiled at me, she simply positioned herself where her slit was mere inches from my harden member. I looked at her, I was about to cross the thresh hold into manhood. Grant its with a pokemon but the feeling is the same.

“Are you sure you want to do this, Fira?" I asked.

Fira leaned in closer to my face, she planted her lips onto mine. Slowly she lowered herself onto my member. The head of my member slowly entered into her folds. I could feel her heat. I gasped as I penetrated her. She let out a gasped as well. She slowly pushed further down, my member went deeper into her folds. The heat I felt was intense and inviting. After all her overall body temperature is much higher then mine.

We both let a moan out as she hilted my member, my entire member was buried in her. I wrapped my arms around her. She did the same, Fira looked at me. I nodded for her to continue. Going into a rhythmic movement. She moved herself up and down on my member. Fira gasped each time she came back down, driving my member deeper into her. Her heat was so hot that I could melt from it. Water sloshed about as she slowly picked up speed.

I reached down and grabbed her rear. I noticed that she had some roundness in her butt. I grabbed her butt tightly on either side. I started to thrust with each time she came back down. I honestly didn't know how much longer I could last, this was my first experience at sex. I felt my sack start to grow tight, “Fira I don't know how long I can last."

Fira took this and sped up her pace. “It's okay, just doing this is enough. Go ahead let it out."

I gritted my teeth as I did one last powerful thrust into her as I felt her clamped down on me. My member exploded, coating her insides with my seed. Fira let a small flame into the air above us, she brought her head down and bit me on the shoulders. I gasped out as I continued to thrust into her. With one last buck I fell back against the wall in a slump. Fira laid on top of me, still having my member deep inside her.

We laid like this for awhile until the water in the tub started to get cold. Seeing no further use to having a bath. I slowly picked the tuckered out quilava up and got out of the tub. I carefully dried her off and combed out her soft.

She hopped down from the countertop and walked out of the bathroom. I followed her to our bed. We both crawled in and cuddled up to each other.

As we laid together, I planted one last kiss on her forehead. “I love you Fira. I hope this doesn't come back to bite us."

“I'm sure it won't and if it does they'll have to contend with my mother." Fira said.

I slowly felt the exhaustion from the days endeavors and what we just did catch up to me. I sighed in relief as I held Fira warm body to my chest.

We both fell asleep.

Mother Arceus sat in her home in between dimensions looking into a fountain of water. The picture of Will and Fira laying in bed was showing. Mother sighed as she closed her eyes. “What am I going to do with that little fire type? I'm just glad the will accepted her. Still though falling in love during such a trying time is troubling. Monmario is growing bold with its movement. Will keep getting stronger, who have a great threat looming over you. One that I willingly put you in."

She ran a paw over the water causing it to distort. She sighed laying herself down next to the fountain.
