It seems this is the true ending and not a bad end.
What happened to everyone after the events of the dreamworld fusion day?. Demetrius ended up dating Rachel and George began to date Katherne and everyone was able to live out their high school lives with their own goals ahead of everyone. Tyler also gained his creative flow back with Kenta a rival to him but not in an antagonistic way to help push him with each piece of art created. Kendric was able to go back to his own family and did attend high school with the guardians as he was a 15 year old after all. This was the true ending and was 100% not a dream as it seemed to be to George and sometimes Demetrius at times.
