A Firefighter to the rescue -- 04 -- The First Meeting

Three Days had passed since the accident and since that Day, Tala wasn't the same anymore. He was only laying in his Bed, doing nothing. He didn't try to speak. He didn't eat. He didn't even let anyone close to him. Not Nurse Joy. Not her Chansey and not even Sebastian. This went so far that Joy feared that they had to fight against him to at last feed him, but then something happened that no one was aware of.

Midday on the Fourth Day

As always, Tala was sitting upright in his Bed, holding his Head towards the window through were the Sun was shining through. While he did that, he tried to imagine of how the sight outside would be, but at the same time he began to hate himself for being so helpless.

He was so deep in his thoughts that he didn't hear that the door to his room went open and a wheelchair drove in. Once the chair was close to his Bed, he finally recognized it, but didn't move until he heard a Voice of a female. To his surprise, the Voice wasn't the one of Nurse Joy. It was the Voice of a female Lucario who spoke in their tong.

" Why are you so up sad ?" She asked him.

" ..... Leave me alone." He said after a moment of silence.

" Why do you want to be alone ?"

" ...... I want to..... hide myself."

" Why this ?"

" Why..... Why.... Why..... ?" He said that normal, but then he burst out like a Volcano. " Why can't you just leave me alone ? Why can't you see that I'm hiding here because I want to hide the fact I'm blind ?"

Once said, he immediately regretted it that he burst out that loud, and he thought that the female would leave him as fast as she could but to his surprise she didn't. Furthermore, she surprised him more by telling him in a very calm and low voice.

" I'm also blind, but I cannot see a single fact of why do you want to hide yourself ?"

" I..... I....." He was only able to say.

" Why don't you use your Aura sight to see instead of seeing with your Eyes ?"

" I..... I.... I don't.... Know how to use it." He said in a near whisper, but she heard it quite well and began to giggle.

" That's not funny ! There had never been a use for me to learn it. A Firefighter don't need this."

Before the female was able to answer this, Joy came into the room, saying.

" AHH!!! There you are. You know that it is time for your training, so come on now."

The female only respawned by giving a low grunt and drove out of the room, closely followed by Nurse Joy. Meanwhile, Tala's thoughts were driving around wildly.

What is she thinking ? Why does she care about me ? Does she know me from somewhere ? Do I know her ?

These and many more questions were beginning to hurt him, and after a while he wanted to answer them. That was why he called for Nurse Joy loudly, and after a few minutes she finally came.

" What is it, Tala ?" She asked him.

" That Girl.... What happened.... ?" He said slowly.

" You mean the Girl who was in here one hour ago ?"

" Y..... Yes."

" Why do you ask about her ?"

" I.... I..... She said something's..... That I.... Can't understand."

" AHH !!! I see. She told you about her Aura sight and what she saw, right ?"

" ...... Yes....."

" HHHAAAHHH.... She is such a lovely, poor little thing."

" What.... Happened ?"

" Well...." Joy tried to avoid an answer, but Tala's Voice became more serious.

" What... happened, Joy ?"

" AAAHHHH fine. I tell you, but.... You don't have that from me. OK ?"

" I.... Understand."

Joy sad down on Tala's bed before she spoke on.

" Her life was till today a poor mess. She had been born wild as one of 4 Pups, but as soon as she was in the world, her parents dumped her."

" ..... Why ?"

" She is a shiny, and you know what destiny they are all having."

" ......" Tala knew it far too well. He had seen so many of them when he had been a wild Riolu, and he had always never understood of why they were treated that badly until his parents had told him.

" She had somehow survived the first Days on Earth, and then she was found by a trainer who of course caught her easily, but from that moment on, her Hell began for real."

" Did he..... threatened her Bad ?"

" He...." Joy couldn't finish because at that moment, the door to Tala's room went open and a wheelchair drove in. Next, Tala heard the Voice of the female Lucario again.

" Yes he did !!! And when I someday find him, I will kill him for what he did to me !!!!"

Then came a moment of silence, but then Joy got up from the Bed and said to the two.

" I think that I will leave you two alone for a bit. I'll have to check a few other Pokémon."

Once said, she left the room and once the two were alone the female said to Tala.

" Next time you can call for me instead, Nurse Joy. It's not nice from you to asked some things over me behind my back."

" I would have..... But I..... Don't know your Name." Came back from Tala.

"...... True..... It's Tasida." Came now back from her in a shy Voice.

" Tasida... Hmmm.... Nice Name. I'm Tala."

" Tala ?.... So you are the one that goes through Hell and comes back unhurt."

" Not....... Anymore."

Tala's Aura became darker again, and Tasida recognized that she had said a wrong thing.

" I'm, sorry. I think that I will come back later when you have calmed down." She said and turned her Wheelchair.

Once she had turned and was about to leave the room, she heard him saying or whispering.

" Please.... Teach me of how to use.... Aura sight."

Without and answer, she left the room, leaving him alone with his thoughts again.

Damn !!! Why did I talk so much with her ? Why do I want to train with her ? Why do I feel so free when she talks with me ?

This and many more questions were flying through his Head until he had become so tired of them that he dropped to sleep.

The next Day, Morning,

Tala hadn't had a good Night. He had dreamed of his Accident and that many times. He had dreamed of saving the girl and managed to get out of the building without being hurt. Then he had dreamed of it again but this time he had this accident again and at the end, before he woke up, he was facing himself and his other being screamed into his face.

" YOU KILLED ME !!! YOU BASTARD !!! YOU KILLED ME !!!"

" NNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!" He screamed out loud while he woke up.

His Heart was racing inside his chest and he desperately wanted to open his Eyes to see his room. Yet all he saw was darkness, and he remembered that he was blind.

1 Hour later

He hadn't made a move since he had woken up, but that was about to change because it was time for breakfast.

* Knock, Knock *

came from his Room door.

" Come in." He said and shortly afterwards the door open.

It was Nurse Joy who had opened the door and together with her Chansey she drove a little handcart into the room on which some bandages, medicament's and some Berries were standing. Yet Tala awaited that she would great him first, and then she would ask him of how he would feel, but then she said something that he wasn't aware of.

" OH Hi, Tasida. I didn't await you to be here."

" T... T... TASIDA !!!!!!" Tala said loud in shock.

" Thanks Joy. Now you ruined the surprise." Tasida said to Joy in her speech, and of course Joy didn't understand her. Yet, she was able to read her mimics correctly.

" Oh !!! I'm sorry for disturbing you two, but it's time for him for his check-ups and after that for yours too, young Lady, so please go to your room and wait there for me."

With a low growl, Tasida followed the order and drove out of the room. Once they were alone, Joy said to Tala while she began to change his bandages.

" So How are you today ?"

" HHMMM..... How should I be ?" He answered cold.

" I don't know. You feel good or Bad. That's what I want to know."

" In that case. I'm feeling bad.... And useless......"

" Why useless ?"

" Does someone need a blind Lucario ?"

" Of course."

" Who ?"

" Your friends. Your Trainer."

" HMMM ... Friends I'm not having and.... Sebastian ... I don't see a reason why he should need me or even keep me."

" That's not true. He told me that you could live in his house for the rest of your Life."

" Yeah... Live inside a house or a Jail for a blind Pokémon."

" Now just make a point !!! Yes. Why are so up sad ? Why are you not happy that you are still living ?" Joy said a bit angrily.

" That's the point, Joy !!! I am still living !!! All I ever wanted was to save people and Pokémon as a Firefighter, but now look at me !!!! I will never be able to work as one again !!! I will never..... Never...."

" Never what ?" Joy asked while she finished her work, but Tala didn't give her an answer. Instead, he rolled himself to the side right after Joy had done her last move.

Without saying something on, Joy placed the tabled with the berries on it, next to his Bed and left the room.

Forty Minutes passed without something happening or at last Tala thought that nothing happened. He had moved himself back on is back right after Joy had left the room, but more he hadn't done. He only laid there and quarrel with his destiny until suddenly, Tasida said from his right side.

" Looks like that we need to train you much more than Aura sight."

" WHAT THE .... !!!" Tala said in shock and drove his upper Body upright quickly. " HOW DID YOU GET IN HERE ???"

She giggled on his reaction first, and then she said to him.

" I came right through the door. Just like last time."

" But... How ? I didn't hear the door go open."

" That's no wounder for me. You have always trusted your Eyes, and now you are helplessly lost without them."

" Yeah... Spray more salt into my wound, please."

" I'm sorry.... I only wanted to test you before I will go to train with you."

" And what did you found out ?"

" Like I said. We both need to train you more than Aura sight."

" What more ?"

" You will see, but before we start, you will have to eat and agree to my condition."

" Condition ? What do you want to have that I can give you ?"

" Nothing special.... I .... I know..... Please teach me how to speak Human." Tasida said a bit shy and Low.

" What did you say ?" Tala asked with a sly grin on his face.

" I..... I teach you Aura sight, and you teach me Human. Deal ?"

".... HAHA... Alright. Deal. So... When will we start ?"

" Right after you have eaten your breakfast."

" My Ähm.... Breakfast.... ÄÄÄHHHHMMM... Where is it ?"

Tasida giggled again. Then she took the tabled and placed it on his Bed, over his Legs, and said to him.

" Right here."

Tala then tried to grab something from the direction of where he felt the tabled hit the bed, but he missed and let Tasida giggle again.

" Hey !!! That's not funny."

" For me, it is.... Here. Let me help you." Tasida said, and placed a berry in his right paw.

With a slight Blush on his face, Tala tried to move the Berry to his mouth, but again he missed, and the Berry moved out of his Paw. Letting her giggle again.

" Great.... Now I'm a clown...." Tala said, with a really bright blush now.

" OH come on.... You are no Clown.... Just a little baby that needs to be fed. Open wide and say AHH..."

"HEY !!! I'm not a......MMMMBBBBFFFFF !!!!" She had cut him by placing a berry into his mouth and that so deep that he had to swallow it in one piece.

Once swallowed, he began to breathe deeply to gain some Air.
