Chapter 12

She couldn't really tell what happened the moment they reached the gates of Warfang, she couldn't recall if Creep pulled any handles or stepped over any doorstep, having no sense of touch was strange to say the least, if she still had feeling in her paws she would be able to tell if they poked at the stony surface of Warfang's roads or not.

Without it she had a completely blank space in her head between the moment of approach and passing through the main gate of the city. Though the memory of the crossing wasn't there, she could sense that something happened, it was difficult to tell what exactly it was, yet she could sense a presence.

A presence which intention's were unclear, yet undeniably they were directed at them. For a brief moment she could feel something that reminded her of a graze of a rope. Did it try to catch them? She wasn't sure since the contact didn't last long, either the rope was not interested in them or they slipped away.

The brief moment of oblivion ended either way, before she could truly comprehend what was happening the interior of Warfang stretched out before them.

People walked around like this would be a day like any other.

"This is difficult to comprehend" Creep intoned with his changed voice, his head low, eyes aimed at the ground

She wanted to snort, like she did so many times already, yet she forgot that she had no body and all she did was to make the light that she was right now pulse a bit harder for a second.

"Tell me about it, I was thinking that people would be more panicked with this weird thing over their heads, trying to eat their own tails as they ran around. Yet here they are, instead of having runs that would be really fun to watch, they are on a strict diet"

Creep didn't respond, the only thing she heard was a deep sniff of the nose.

Her temporary driver had his paw against his nose, sniffing it intensely while gazing at the road below.

"Don't tell me you stepped in some thrash"

"The terrain, it is so cold, so firm, my legs feel it and they accept it"

"Yeah, amazing, but sadly we don't have time to admire the scenery, back in the days where Spyro wasn't my mate and I was a walking scapegoat it was really something I must tell you. You know how wonderful it was to imagine some of those bricks hitting your head? Now that would be firm and cold, something tells me that the latter wouldn't want to leave any time soon. Those were some good days"

Creep stiffened suddenly just to quickly gaze behind the shoulder, looking down the entire length of his body, either glancing at the rump or tail.

"I feel something strange back there"

"Oh no, no, no, NO!" Cynder blurted out, the black light inside the opening in her tail spurted out small black spits "For the sake of everything's that's holy, if this strange thing is coming from your ass just run to a nearby corner where nobody will see you. I mean, I don't have any reputation and dignity left according to the people and they might be right, BUT! I still have a tiny shred of self-respect which I will want to keep, which you will flush out if you defecate in the middle of the street! In front of strangers and my friends!"

"I do not-"

"Wait!" she interrupted him, a small tentacle grew out from the light, smacking gently the black rump

"We are alone, where are my friends?"

The black dragoness that was once her body looked around, awkwardly turning in the same time, tapping her paws in such a chaotic manner as if the ground would be filled with hot coals.

"Okay. Screw it. I don't feel a thing right now, but this isn't good. You have my permission to shit yourself if you want. Screw self-respect, it wasn't worth keeping anyway, when I return to my body I'm sure I won't be missing it"

"We survived the touch of Darkness Sugar. Our plan repaid itself"

"What do you mean survived? You want to tell me that all my friends are dead?"

Creep shrugged, a reaction he didn't even seem to notice.

"I do not know"

The ominous light inside the tail tip vibrated mischievously.

"Then don't use words like survive! It means that something very bad happened! We must find my friends, like right now, if this Darkness separated us then it means it's afraid, together we stand a chance. I knew that there was something trying to get its claws on us when we stepped through the gates!"

"I apologize" Creep whined, a tear glimmered in the corner of one eye

"Oh come on! Don't cry! Crying is very problematic when you're a girl, when I look at it from a callous distance I must admit that it borders on insanity. Crying about everything and it's melting us, yeah don't do that, I need you in one piece"

"What is crying Sugar?" the black dragoness bounced unexpectedly, once again driving her stiff legs into the ground

"The strange feeling again. What is it?"

"It's coming from your tail area?" the light dimmed, sighing in its own specific way "We eat and drink stuff and sometimes the stuff that we drink and eat wants to come out. It's normal and pretty gross when I think about it. Just let go, luckily I don't care, I'll worry about that later"

"I feel it everywhere Sugar, mostly on one side of the body. It feels like wind, but different"

"Wind but different?"

Creep nodded, another body reaction he didn't seem to notice, it was funny to see him adapting to natural body language, emotions are really an odd thing.

"Yes. Outside, the wind was fresh and cold. Here, it blows also, but the sensation is different, rougher, not the same, its poking my body"

"I could really use some help to solve that riddle. I don't feel a thing so I don't know what you mean, let's ask one of my friends, oh right, they are not here"

"Is it dangerous Sugar?"

"Does it hurt?"

"Hurt?"

"You want to cry and you feel like you're getting warm?"

"No"

"Then screw it. I don't know what it is, maybe also wind but since we're inside the city now it feels different. You have many stomping paws and boots here, not to mention the buildings and stone, maybe the dust is being kicked in the air. If you stay sensitive to every little damn thing we're going to have a problem. I'll show you some day what is what, but now as long as you can keep moving just do it, when I see something troubling I tell you"

"Ignore everything?" Creep dropped his head down, the tear that glimmered in one of his eyes splattered on the ground "Ignore life? What is the point of living then?" he mumbled, the voice was full of oblivious pain

She couldn't feel, but seeing Creep like this wasn't acceptable for her. Callous or not, she was a good bodiless spirt and his reaction made her light flicker, she hurt him and she didn't want to do that. It's a lot to take in and she must understand that, especially for a creature that spent its entire existence locked in this special water container that felt like limbo.

"Look, I'm sorry, I know everything is very new to you, but we really need to focus here. Anyway since I was bad and want to apologize, I'll let you do one thing to taste some life, but only one Creep, please, it is important that we kick this thing out of this city"

He immediately perked up, he was really like a girl with this swaying mood constantly.

"Can I touch myself?"

Probably a bit too much.

The light in the tail tip shrunk to a dot, oh boy the emotional Cynder will have a ride when this is over.

"What?" the voice she let out was like a whine as if someone would let out a whizzing fart

"My body, your body Sugar, I do not know how the flesh feels like" he raised one of his paws, stopping it centimeters before the magenta chest, toes shaking excitedly

The light grew back up again, overextending beyond the borders of the space even, releasing its one of a kind breath of relief.

"Touch yourself like that you mean! Oh sure! No problem! When this is over however remind me that we should really have a talk about ambiguous meanings alright?"

Creep pressed the shaking paw against his chest, moving it as slowly as he could, not really knowing why, for some unknown reason to him he just couldn't force himself to move faster.

What was this strange hesitation?

He wanted to feel how a body made of bone and flesh feels like, he waited for a moment like this for eons, everything he planned was slowly being fulfilled and yet, despite that the first step to his goal was so close, something was blocking him.

He didn't know what it was, he had a strange instinctive nudge however ordering him to respect the invisible, confusing barrier and despite his initial quest he obeyed the command.

He gasped when the paw moved close to the chest, just barely away from it, yet it was enough to sense another sensation, a very pleasant one, the change of wind on his paw was subtle, but undeniably it was there.

And it was majestic.

It spoke of life, felt like life, WAS life.

Warmth.

How he knew it was warmth he did not know, he did not care, the body he was in control now radiated one kind of energy he never knew existed. Radiated heat.

Body heat.

Life is warm.

He forced the paw against the chest eventually, unable to contain his lust any longer. The draconic palm smacked against the scales gently, the sensation of touch pulled his mouth open, making room for one of the most wavering, audible of moans.

"Whoa there! Easy on the moans there!" the light in the tail tip stretched out a few tendrils which swayed in the air like sensitive antennas "You're lucky Spyro isn't here, I don't I would be able to stop him this time. By the way, I wonder if I would be flattered or creeped out by this, you don't see many people moaning when they grope themselves"

The black paw moved down the chest gently, Creep kept observing the reaction this caused to his body. Nothing was there, yet nevertheless he couldn't take his eyes off the reappearing scales from underneath the draconic palm.

"Your body is so tender Sugar. Fragile. Warrior with a shield so soft, how can you survive?"

"Scales are still scales, they are pretty durable and are no different than in any other dragon, either boy or girl, the integral structure that protects us is the same in both sexes tho. The soft part is just there for the appeal, girls are more tender to the touch while males are more rougher, they are even warmer than the standard girl I think. This difference in bodies is what drives both genders to lust for each other, physical attraction that instinctively calls us to taste something that we don't know, this is from where sexual appeal comes from. If our female bodies would feel exactly like male ones, or the other way around, there would be no sexual drive, you won't find attractive something that you deal with on a daily basis"

One of the black tentacles reached back towards the main light, grazing against it as if it was a finger rubbing a chin thoughtfully.

"On a side note, this whole out of the body experience made me really philosophical, no wonder I have troubles understanding you!"

"Will I sense what attraction is?"

"Oh I hope not, not in this body at least, this sweet ass belongs to Spyro and I'm pretty sure I would REALLY, REALLY be mad at you when I would feel again. Anyway, the point of all this attraction to one another is very straightforward, instinctive, as a species, we want our dynasty to continue, so in the end it's all about the babies. Do you want to have babies?"

The black paw stopped moving, Creep cocked his head, squinting his eyes, he was thinking, or waiting for something.

"I do not know. If I would feel a male body then perhaps I would discover the true meaning of appeal and then I would know"

The black light flickered quickly.

"It doesn't work like that! A boy can't have a baby with a boy, I mean what exactly would you impregnate and through which hole? Nobody ever told me butt babies were a thing, I mean there is already much organic stuff coming out of that door, I don't know if there is a place for something else. Besides Creep you're a g-"

The light stopped shinning, freezing on the spot.

"Hey, wait a second! Are you a guy? I mean I always pictured you as male, but you cannot have sex when you're a mist right? Are you a boy or a girl Creep?"

"I am what you want me to be Sugar"

"Really? So you wouldn't have anything against it if I would tell you to be a flying butt with a penis instead of a nose?"

"Whatever you wish of me Sugar I will provide"

"A parrot! I always wanted a parrot like the captain of that loony ship had, less crazy of course and you already fit the picture nicely! You talk Common, but rarely make sense and use only singular words and sometimes you pull off trick that's really shitty, exactly like a bird when they bombard us from the sky! Hey, but no hard feelings, a bird's gotta do what its gotta do"

A corner of Creep's mouth stretched into a smile, the paw that rested for a while renewed its travel once more along the magenta scales.

Thump.

Creep balked, letting out a whine, ungluing the leg from the scales so quickly that it looked like as if the chest would be on fire.

The light on the tail tip began to glisten with a steady, measured tone.

"What is wrong?"

"I felt something" he observed his risen paw, his eyes widening at the sight.

His leg was trembling and there was no way of stopping it, for some reason he could no longer sense that he has any control over it.

"A beat"

"Beat? Well we're still pretty far from the stomach so it can't be one of the nicer gusts building up. So the only thing left is the heart. Put the paw back where it was, don't worry, it doesn't bite"

"Are you certain that this is an ally?"

"Oh yeah, back in the days the little red thing was very mean to me, I had big troubles because of it, you know, with Spyro around and being the murderer or whatever. Lately though we're best buddies, all is good between us"

The words did not calm him, his eyes simply couldn't leave the shaking paw from their sight.

"Then why I feel fright?"

"I don't know that, but parents always teach us that the only way to conquer your demons is to fight them, meaning that if you want to beat your fears down you need face them. I can promise that this is one of the simplest battles you will ever fight"

His paw began to retrace its previous path, it was moving slowly and felt extremely heavy, yet eventually the draconic palm once again landed on the magenta scales.

Thump.

He whined, his hind legs giving away, forcing his butt to smack against the ground.

Paw slid a bit farther, if it wouldn't be for the mistress he didn't know if he would be able to stand against the fear.

Which was unexplainable.

He was Fear after all.

What is this hesitation?

Is life made of this?

Thump.

Thump.

It sped up, mocking him, calling him, provoking him.

This is not an ally, a trickster, manipulator. A copycat.

It knows his essence.

Cynder didn't say anything, observing the struggle, she didn't know why no words were being onto her invisible tongue, somehow all of this seemed too important to interrupt.

With one final whine he moved his paw farther, instinctively knowing that he reached his destination. He kicked his head to the side, snout wrinkled by a powerful wince, eyes squinted tightly, teeth pulsating, pushing through the cover of the slid lips, parting them with the pressure they were applying.

He acted as if he was expecting an explosion.

Thump.

Thump.

Thump.

The rhythm, it was terrifying, it was enslaving, it was everything.

For some reason he sensed that he had his paw above the greatest treasure and curse. The class curled against the spot immediately, as if trying to trap, or shield, a cripples bird.

"Not so bad after all huh?"

Thump.

Thump.

Thump.

The sound was haunting, it was only due to the paw embracing the spot on the chest that he managed to gaze upon his shaking, black toes.

His entire body momentarily followed in the wake of the toes, after a while it was impossible to tell what exactly was the origin of the quaking since his every muscle was trembling.

His own thoughts.

The End and Beginning of Time.

So little and yet so commanding.

A weakness.

Essence of life.

This is not how it supposed to be.

Thump.

Thu-

"A delusion!" Creep roared at the top of his lungs, tearing the paw away from the chest, the curled claws scratching the scales, hurling lines of glistening under the sun blood into the air

"No grandeur! Only burden! Prison!" he rose on his hind legs, smacking both front paws against his head, claws sinking shallowly into the scales there, the bloodied blades painting one side of the head with bloody tears

His skull began to rumble and all he wanted was to crush it.

"This is not LIFE! This cannot be LIFEEEEEEEEEEE!" he roared once again, swaying wildly on two legs like a chaotic snake, claws digging deeper into the skull

"STOP WIGGLING!" Cynder blared, her commanding voice rumbling like thunder, for a second the sky itself seemed to flicker like a dying candle

The shadowy light stretched out from the confines on the tail, rising high into the air like a tornado, until eventually it lunged towards the black neck, gluing itself to the back like some ravenous worm, contact with the flesh announced by an explosion of darkness.

The blow pushed the forelegs of the dragoness apart, shoving them away from the skull while the general pressure of the strike pushed the upper side of the body towards the ground until it eventually smacked against the floor.

The paws that were blew away commanded by her to move below the crashing snout, forced to cushion the impact with the rough ground. The dark worm remained glued to the neck, pinning Creep to the road.

Creep who's rump was twirling mercilessly, hind paws and tail kicking chaotically, making the backside of the black body thrash wildly in every direction as if he was being electrocuted.

"SILENCE!" she roared once again, a shadowy mist wrapped itself around the thrashing waist like thick, heavy chains and immediately pushed the kicking rump down onto the ground, pinning it down like the rest of the body

"This is my body and you have no permission to maim it! I invited you to this home as my GUEST! DON'T MAKE ME FEEL LIKE YOU ARE UNINVITED HERE!"

"Sugar it hurts!" Creep cried out, the squeal similar to that of a slaughtered pig

She forced him into submission when being a bodiless spirit.

The hold over the black dragoness disappeared immediately, light returning back to its origin place with one quick motion, sucking in all the smoke in a single whiff.

It was not the cry of anguish that forced her back, but the fact that she overpowered Creep, she overpowered Creep while being him only for a little while.

If she could do it, then what is holding Creep back from doing the same to her? Creep who spent who knows how many years in this form.

"How did I do it? Can you do it?" the questions came out quickly, the shadow underneath the lying body cracked and broke in places just to mend back again like a pierced cloud

Creep massaged his paws together, lying on the floor without a word.

"How is it possible?"

"A mistake" the dragoness rasped "A sweet mistake"

"Answer me!" she commanded, the light inside the tail tip pulsing fervently

"You are powerful Sugar, prepared, unexpected occurrence. I do not know your limitations. Confusion. Fear. You scare me Sugar"

"I scare you? I think I would be terrified right now if I discovered that you are capable of dominating me whenever you want! If I can do it a creature as old as you can do it surely!"

"I am not. I would not. I love you Sugar, important to me, desire to make you feel comfortable with me. No power to influence you. Too powerful. If I wanted to break the knot, I would not be able to"

"I have a hard time believing you, it all seems too convenient that a dragoness like me, who just found about you not so long ago would have magically enough power to control a creature with eons behind his belt. This callousness is useful Creep, it clears space for logic so don't play stupid games with me"

Creep pulled himself to a sitting position, immediately, for some unknown reason to her, found the way to the heart again that made him panic just a moment ago.

"Life is strong Sugar, you were branded with its power from hatching, the first dragoness with the power over the knot, after years the first dragoness with the power to share life. My window and my mistress, my goal and my love" he rubbed the sensitive spot protecting his heart "Never going to hurt, always will protect"

The shadowy light pulsed steadily, mimicking perfectly the beat of the heart hidden in the ribcage.

"Logic or not, I still have troubles understanding you. What it all means? What do you mean I was branded from hatching? With life no less? I was a slave, a tool from day one on this damn world, my life was never my own"

"Words are nothing when the intention to unravel the knot is no longer there. My goal is to protect, we are one, no point to learn when you do not believe me" black head dropped numbly down, chin hitting the chest, a deep, wavering sigh left the throat

The light inside the tail tip shrunk visibly.

Alright, there were several times she stood against Creep's wishes, with him being an unnatural being and all that it was pretty normal for her to fight with him, considering the fact that he pulled some fishy tricks and doesn't seem to get along with Spyro very well.

Still, in all those protests she never saw, nor experienced Creep feeling betrayed or hurt by her disapproval and rejection, a creature made of magic is unable to feel emotions anyway. Creep always retreated, like a talking, if another would exist that is, image of an Element would do, dragons are their masters after all.

In all those moments she never considered the fact that she might have actually wounded him, even if Creep wasn't capable of understanding what objection really feels like.

This time though, while she couldn't really feel pity for her strange companion, it was quite clear that her act and words wounded him. With Creep being so vulnerable to sway of moods and emotions, it was easy to tell what he was going through and all of this seemed genuine, she doubted he was capable of manipulating his feelings, seeing as the sensation of wind on his scales startled him.

Shock is hard to fake, especially for a bodiless creature.

She had all the reasons to press him further, after all he appeared in her life rather roughly, by nightmares and horror images, nothing too welcoming when you think about it. The thing that held her back however was Creep's sincerity, in all his actions, whether they crossed the boundaries of good taste or not, he had served and protected her. Many things could be said about this creature, but there was no denying the fact that in one regard he remained loyal.

Always showing concern to the best of his ability.

Not even mentioning her previous outbursts, keeping true to his set goal no matter what. No matter her previous protests and blames.

We are one.

Whether she liked it or not these three words were everything in their specific relationship, for some reason they are stuck together, their views about all of this might be different, but it doesn't change the fact that if they want to achieve their goals they have to work together.

And as of now Creep was providing much more than her.

She owes him, that one thing was certain.

The emotional Cynder will have all the time in the world to think over this decision, the rational Cynder right now says that it was time to give slightly back, remembering of course who is the raider here, but some initiative is always needed in every deal.

"Look Creep I'm sorry for jumping on you like that" the shadowy light gently rubbed the scaly tail with one of its dark tentacles "I know it might be a stupid excuse, but as a creature who is really attached to her body and soul, it is quite strange for me to be like this. I'm quite possessive when it comes to things I love, seems I don't need feelings to be a bitch, part of my charm right here. I'll restrain myself from now on, we will resolve this later, for now let's stick together, we are one after all. How about I tell you a little about this heart you seem to fear so much? You want life so let me help you understand it a little better, that's the least I can do, we have friends to save and butts to kick, let's keep ours away from the blasting zone for now, huh?"

Tears began glistening in Creep's eyes.

"Thank you Sugar"

"Yeah, yeah, alright listen" to comfort him Cynder's light grazed over his black flank "The thing that you're covering so badly is very important and I mean REALLY important, if you let something happen to it, it's over. So don't let it break, keep it safe from spears, swords and the like"

Creep's head propped itself up, he swung his tail fiercely, knowing precisely how to operate it as if he would wield it for many years. The burning with darkness tip appeared in front of his eyes, he gazed directly at her, his eyes wide with terror.

"One small organ decides about life?!"

"Pretty much, yeah, body is a little more complicated than that, if you get hit in some other vulnerable area it's over as well. It all leads to the same thing though, if your heart stops you're dead. So have fun and don't let it happen!"

The black dragoness shook her head, clearly shocked by the revelation.

"Impossible, life so fragile, whimsical, unsafe. Addiction...fake? Entirely?"

"Dunno what are you blabbering about, but I want to you to let know that we aren't immortal, protect that heart and don't get yourself killed. Easy"

"You live in constant threat, accident can be the end. Mortal life so worthy, but so easy to lose. Not what I believed it to be" he clenched both fores over the chest, hiding the heart there behind the protective embrace of claws and toes

"Yup, and this is only one of our perks. We as dragons are immune, but most of the people can become ill and that means you cry, sneeze and sometimes even can't get out of the bushes since your butt is constantly playing the shitty tune. We don't even need illnesses to leak stuff, during mating for instance we spill over and into ourselves all sorts of liquid, not only we put the stuff we use for peeing in one another, those are the things actually that are responsible for all the leaking no less. When I look at us from this emotionless side, we are really gross and disgusting to be honest"

The light in the tail tip stretched out, wrapping its smoky arm over the choker on the black neck.

"Speaking of disgusting and gross. You're mortal now Creep, I wonder, what will happen if you die now? I'm here as the soul and you're there as the body, but you are the soul really and I'm the body, you know what I mean. Anyhoo, any idea what would happen?"

Creep froze in place, her question clearly shocked him, ancient creature or not, he looked like someone who never expected to hear such a question, she was sure he would look the same way if he would display any visible emotions during their first meeting where she ordered him to speak in first person.

That command changed his perspective on the world, this question changed his life.

The toes that held the heart immediately dashed back on the ground.

"We can die" he whispered, she had a hard time deciding if he was asking a question or answering her query

"We can die Sugar" he repeated, this time there was no doubt about it, this was an answer

"Fantastic, but what will happen to you when you die? I think I wouldn't have much of a choice in the matter since my body would be thrash"

"What happens when a mortal creature dies?"

The light shrunk for a while, just to enlarge to the same size moments later, a sigh.

"Honestly? No idea. They say that our essence connects with the earth and thanks to that Spirit Gems appear, some believe we become the stars. It all sounds crazy right now when I'm just a spirit, the rational me thinks all of this is just words of comfort, for me it's just lights out and goodbye. We disappear"

"Fade out of existence?" Creep swallowed, the bulge that stretched out his throat just didn't want to move down, for a second she thought he would choke on it, but eventually the gathered saliva moved down "Life is futile"

"Futile? Nah. I mean Nature is the queen of this world, we follow her rules. There has to be a reason we are born who we are and live for how long we are designed to. Birth and death is a process of evolution, if you lived forever then your views, your decisions would become outdated eventually and in the end you would be a hindrance to the modern population. We're like machines, unable to change our designs"

"How can you live Sugar? The knowledge, burdening. Live to die? Where is enjoyment? Where is life? Sense?"

"In between. We age Creep and there is nothing we can do about it. The simplest of truths is that one day we will all die"

Creep shivered, wings on the back fluttered in spasms.

"Fear beckons again. Do you not fear oblivion Sugar? It lurks in every crack"

"No, usually not, you don't think about it most of the time. I mean, I might be afraid when the time would come maybe, but in all honesty I think when the bells will ring for you finally you will not care anymore. Death happens either by accident or a consequence of an action, in the first case you don't have time to think about it and in the other you kinda welcome it I guess, this disconnection, with it comes the end of pain, illness or whatever else that shoves you into the grave. Not bad if you think about it from this perspective, right? Besides as dragons we rarely get to live our full lives, we like to fight and throw our lives away in conflict, we're this kind of party people"

Creep shook his head.

"Not perfect"

"No, and I really don't understand why you are so surprised by all of this. You were here from the beginning of the world, did you never see death before?"

"I had seen demise. I had never felt it"

The light flickered anxiously.

"Yeah, I get it, wouldn't if I would never try being your talking buttock, but since I'm blessed with this experience I totally get from where the confusion might come from. Guess it sucks to find out that life has its downsides! But hey! At least it's not boring, stay safe and alive, avoid killing blows and falling axes trying to cut your head off and you'll be fine. Easy! Have fun!"

Creep sighed, deeply, the fear that was eating away at him was there, but something changed in him, body language showed clearly that the stress that was influencing him got under control. He accepted his fate and the holes in the knowledge he had even after all this time.

"Life is a learning process. A task. A trail, dangerous and rewarding"

"Not great, not terrible"

He moved the tail once again in front of his eyes, delicately this time, giving the light there a grateful nod.

"Thank you Sugar, you are special, your approach, your fluidity, it lessened the burden of this weight. It would be overwhelming, without you I would be gone. Without emotions you are so full of life, strange, surprising, indescribable, mysterious, but so welcoming nevertheless. Funny. Carefree?" he cocked his head "Stress dampener"

"Yup. That's all me. Your favorite punching bag and jester in one full package. Sorry folks, not for sale! Should have switched that stone for a flower when you had the chance!"

"I do not want it to end. We are valuable Sugar, I cannot live without you, the world cannot live without us. We are success, victory, Warfang another shade of failure. Abomination an illness. We are health, we are life, we are the future"

"Hey! Who would know you are a poet! So much words like never before! When's the book coming out?"

Creep smiled broadly, despite that in truth it was her mouth doing the stretching, it were her teeth that glistened from inside of the maw, the one sending the command however was Creep himself and no-one else. Her scales were a mask, but even through a cover personality breaks through, especially through the eyes.

And she kept looking at him for what felt like an eternity.

It was hard to tell if her interest was fair, or normal considering that she was judging her own body, but thanks to the lack of emotions she was truly independent, there was no right and wrong here and so she could clearly state that Creep in this layer was enchanting.

He had a certain pull to him, being an ancient creature with a limited supply of words added greatly to the layer of mysteriousness he caulked around himself. This reserve in expression he carried onto her flesh, while the emotions opened him up, the enigma of his existence was still there, far more interesting when properly dosed with a smile or a wink.

Creep with a body became an irresistible creature, the moment you exchange some words with him, for better or worse, you will never forget about it anymore. He carves a path with his steps, like the Destroyer.

So much like the Destroyer.

The only question is what will happen when he finishes his path?

A dangerous idea and a comparison, was this his intention? Was he aware of the freedom she will have when they switch? Were any of these doubts expected?

Answers aside, these questions didn't change one crucial thing about Creep.

No matter the consequences, the road together with him will be interesting.
