The New Arrival
#1 of Welcome To Asgard
Four years had passed since the death of Kairos. Zeng and his friends who had conqured the evil dragon left to find their way in the world, Zengs path was that of the village chief with the help of his mothers and his mate Linda, their clan prospered greatly with the changing of the seasons but winter was the most deadliest for the wyverns and dragons that were left behind hunted near the villages in the area and word soon the first snow fall came to the village and the guards were put on high alert while Zeng and a few of the other hunters headed to the woods for elk.
The woods felt eerie as the evening air howled through the night and becuase of the dragons most of the game had been driven off as well as the wolves. Suddenly Zeng stumbled upon a strange axe that he had never seen before, as he moved his hand along the blade his hand was suddenly cut.
"Hmmm...I could use this."
As Zeng placed the axe behind him a dragon dressed in battle armor with a mount on its back appeared before his eyes as he leaped away from the beasts claws and slashed at its leg but as he looked at his blade Smolder had been completely dulled.
"What in gaias name?-GAAH!!"
Zeng leaped to safety as the dragon spat out a fireball that burned a tree to ashes in seconds then withoun thinking Zeng pulled out the axe he found and threw it towards the beasts chest causing it great pain, the smile that Zeng had just formed on his face suddenly faded as the dragon fell foward crushing him under its wait and ending his life on the spot.
Moments later the villagers spotted the hunters returning, among the ones waiting were Zengs mothers and his mate but as they looked onto the hunting party they saw one of them walking towrads them with his head faced down in sorrow.
"My lady Sharon...."
"My son....where is my son?"
"He fell....."
The hunter then handed over Zengs shattered necklace to her as she placed her hand over her mouth covering her gasp and slowly all three of them bursted into tears knowing that Linda had lost her love and that Sharon and Elicia lost the only child they ever raised. A funeral was soon held as Zengs mothers buried his necklace while they prayed to gaia to guide him to paradise.
While his family mourned his death Zeng found himself in front of a giant city gate where two wolves wearing horned helms walked up to him, he noticed that smolder was resharpened and quickly readied himself for an attack when suddenly a familiar face flew in from above. It was Angel.
"ANGEL!!"
"It's good to see you again Zeng."
Zeng lowered his guard, allowing his old friend to hug him but the moment was cut short as he remembered what happened a few moments ago.
"Angel....what happened to me? last thing I remember was using this axe against a dragon and then...everything went black."
"I'm sorry Zeng but it was the only way."
"Wait! YOU sent that dragon....TO KILL ME?!? I THOUGHT YOU WERE MY FRIEND!!!"
"It wasn't me Zeng I swear!!.....It was ordered by my uncle....Odin."
"Odin?"
"Zeng....Welcome to Asgard."
