The Dolly Project Chapter 1-5
The Dolly Project. Stranger's sick game. An epic story tells how a young girl falls in love with a young guy who sell his soul to keep her happy. 8 years pass before they see each other and shadow is not the same as he was. He saves the president and then Dolly find out about Shadow unforgiving passed. Dolly age 15. Chapter 1 Dolly lived with her father, mother, and her little brother, in North Carolina. One night her father came home from the bar as drunk as he could be. Dolly's mother was yelling at him for staying out so late and he back hand slapped her. Dolly ran to her mother's aid. Then her father target her for the next blow. Without thinking she elbowed him right in the nuts. He let out a very painful yell that the cop car that was driven by, stopped. They called it in and Dolly's father was rushed to the hospital. The police took Dolly in for Questioning. Dolly explain what was going on and why she did it. The police sent her into custody. She was transferred the South Carolina. Shadow age 17 Mr. Orton age 16. Chapter 2 A New Life Dolly was going to a new house, a school, a new life, but an old friend. It was her first day at the new school and she had butterflies in her stomach. She didn't show it but she felt it as she was walking up to the front door she heard her name be called. "Dolly?" The voice called. She turns and saw a young male wearing a black over coat. "Um... Hi I'm sorry, but do I know you?" She asked. "Well you know me as shadow the black from the Internet." He said with a smile. A smile grows across her face and she hugged him. "Oh thank god I'm glad there is someone I know here." She said as Shadow blushed. "So what is your real name?" She asked releasing him. "It really is Shadow the Black. I had it changed." Shadow said. "Ok but what was it?" She asked. "Stephen. Come, lets get inside before it rains." He said opening the door and letting her in first. They when to the office to get her classes and then they when to meet up with Shadow's good friend Mr. Orton. "WOO, Who the hell is the Hot fox and what the fuck is she doing with you?" Mr. Orton asked with a laugh. "This is Dolly and she. I'm not sure why she is here. Why are you here?" Shadow asked. "Cause of the way my father treated me and my mom. The reason I'm not with her is because, she is disable and can't work to keep me. So I'm here living by myself with a land lord who is taking care of me. I haven't met him yet but I will today." Dolly told them. "Oh. That sucks. I'm living alone to with a landlord too." Shadow said. "I wish I could, but I'm stuck with my family." Mr. Orton said. "Yeah, its fun. Don't have to pay rent or anything. He brings food up to the house and anything I need. The rest is freedom. Well with my landlord it is." Shadow said as the bell rang for class to start. Dolly and Shadow had every class together and Mr. Orton went his own way to his classes. During brake Shadow bought Dolly some food and a drink for her. She finished and they headed back to class. After school got out they were at the bus parking lot waiting for the buses. "So what bus do you ride?" Shadow asked. She pulled out her paper "Bus 24." She said "Oh really? That's weird." He said. "How?" She asked. "That's the same bus I ride." "Really? That is weird." The buses pulled in and they got on their bus Shadow sat in the second seat on the right side of the bus Dolly sat next to him. "Is it ok if I sit with you?" Of coarse." They talked until the bus reached Shadow's house. "Well hope you find your way home. This is my stop." Shadow said getting up. "Really this is my stop too." She said as they got off the bus. "I live in that white house right there." She pointed. "That's cool, we're right next to each other I live right there." He pointed to the house next to it. "Cool. So I guess I'll talk to you later." She said as she walk to her house. "Yeah guess so and hey if you ever need anything you know where to find me." He said with a smile as he open his door and walked in. Dolly walked into her house putting her books down and sitting on the couch. She was in deep thought when Shadow knocked on the door. Dolly walked over to it and opened it. "Hey. I thought you would like to go look around and stuff." Shadow said. "Um... not right now, I still have to unpack." She answered. "Oh. Alright let me know if you want to." He said walking away. "Ok. Hey you um. You thank you can give me a hand?" She asked. "Sure." He said turning around. They went into Dolly's place and began to unpack her stuff. "So how long are you going to be here?" Shadow asked. "Not sure maybe forever" She said. They had the radio on and the song "Kiss by a Rose" came on. "Hey I love this song." Dolly said with a smile. Shadow smiled then he pulled out a thong his smiled turn into a blush Dolly turn and yelled as she took it from him. "Oops sorry I guess I gave you the wrong bag." She said embarrassed "No, I'm sorry. I did mean make you feel embarrassed." He said. She put it away and went back to singing the song as she unpacked. Shadow watched her and started to have deep feelings for her. They finished unpacking and went outside. Shadow showed her around the woods, and the pond. At the pond they sat at the edge of it and look at it. The bushes rustle next to them and out pops a fox. Dolly jumps on the other side of Shadow in fear. "What in the world?" Shadow asked. "It's a wild animal. It might have rabbis." She said. Shadow rolled his eyes and held out his hand to the fox. The fox looked at him and then his hand, it walk slowly over to him and Dolly. Dolly backed a way. "Shadow what are you doing?" She asked. "I'm trying to pet it." Shadow said. The fox smelled Shadow's hand and then tucked it's head. Shadow placed his hand on it's head and let him pet it. Dolly was impressed how Shadow was handling it. "You want to pet it?" Shadow asked. "Move slowly over here and slowly put your hand on it." He informed her. Dolly slowly did just that. She petted the fox and pulled her hand away. The fox laid it's head on shadow's lap and went to sleep. "Guess you wouldn't believe that this is my pet, would ya?" Shadow asked as he looked at her with a smile. She had a shocked look on her face. Shadow laughed. He then sang to the fox. Dolly sat next to him and join in on the song. Chapter 3 The Question. The year went by, and before they knew it, it was the last week of school and there was a dance that night, and Shadow was talking to his friends; Ricky, Robby, and Mr. Orton about it and every now and then he would look over to Dolly and smile. "Dude why don't you just ask her out already?" Ricky asked "Yeah dude, you've had the hot's for her for how long now? It's got to be driving you crazy." Robby said. "Yeah it is but what if she doesn't like me like that. What if she rejects me?" Shadow said. "Man, she is not going to reject you I mean look at her she can hardly keep her eyes off you." Mr. Orton said. Dolly was talking with her friends; Laura, Emily and Natalie. "Come on Dolly you know you want him to ask you just got to show that you want him to." Emily said. "Yeah. Wait! What are y'all talking about? I don't like him like that." Dolly said looking at them. "What? You totally like him. You can't keep your eyes off 'em." Laura said. "Yeah you should ask him out tonight for the dance and ask him to bring his friend Mr. Orton too please." Natalie said with a smile. Then the bell rang and class began. "Talk to him." They said to her. Dolly rolled her eyes in disbelieve as they went to class. "Talk to her!" Shadow's friends said to Shadow out loud. Dolly looked over at them as they left Shadow and went to class. Shadow shook his head and turn around to see Dolly. She had a confused look on her face. He walked past her. "What was that about?" Dolly asked. "Nothing. My friends think that you like, like me." Shadow said as they walked down the hallway. "Why would they think that?" Dolly asked. "No reason." Shadow said as he crossed his arms and looked away from her. "It ain't like you do like, like me." Dolly laughed. Shadow stopped. "You don't, do you?" She asked turning to him. "No of coarse not. Just dropped my dime, that's all." Shadow said as he looked at the floor. "Come on we're going to be late." He said walking by her. "Wait. What about your dime?" She asked. In class Shadow was looking through his bag. "Damn. I left my pen at home. Dolly you got something i can write with?" He asked. Dolly reached in her bag and pulled out a pencil. She gave it to him. "Thanks." Shadow smiled then got to work. Through out the day Shadow and Dolly didn't talk to each other as much as they use to, Until the end of the day she leaned against him. "Um... Dolly are you ok?" Shadow trembled. "Yeah, but I have a question." she said. "Yeah?" He asked. "Why haven't you ask me to the dance yet?" She asked. Shadow could feel his blood run through his body "Um... You wanted to go to the dance?" he asked. "Yeah and I was hoping you would be there and I could use a ride." She smiled. "Ok sure I can do that." he said "Kewl, it's a date then." She smiled. They got on the bus and they didn't sit together like they use to. When they got off they walked to the door and Shadow looked over to Dolly and she looked back. "What time do you want me to pick you up?" Shadow asked. "7 O'clock." She said opening the door then closed it. Chapter 4 The stranger Calls As Dolly was getting ready her phone rang. She answered it. "Hello?" "Hi, this is officer Capps I'm looking for Dolly. Is she there?" "This is her." "Ok Dolly we've got a problem. Your father has gotten away and he got a hold of where you live and we think he is on his way over to get you. We have all the roads closed down and we are on the hunt for him. We advise you to stay home and I will come for you tomorrow and get you out of there... Hello? Hello?" Dolly dropped the phone. Shadow was getting ready, he had on a black suit and red under shirt with his over coat over it. He heard a knock on the door. "I thought I was picking her up not the other way around" he thought with a smile. He looked at the time then walked to the door. He opens it. "You know you're early... Hello? Anyone? Hm..." He closed the door and turn face to face with a stranger. "Hello Shadow." The Stranger said with an evil smile. "Who are you and how did you get in here?" Shadow asked with a dark look. "I've been watching you for a while. I've seen the way you are with animals and how you treat them better than you treat the humans in this world." The Stranger said as he walked around. "Yeah but that doesn't answer my question. So I respect animals more then humans what's your point?" Shadow asked crossing his arms. "What if I say that there is a world full of what you call furrys. And what if I say I could take you there?" "I say it's time you left." Shadow said turning and opening the door. He turns backed and the stranger was not there. "You want Dolly to be Happy Don't you?" The stranger said outside the door way "What do you mean?" Shadow asked turning to him. His Phone rang. "Answer it. It is Dolly calling for help." The stranger smiled. Shadow looked at his phone. It was Dolly. He looked up at the stranger and then answered it. "Hello?.. What? I can't understand what you're saying... Ok I see. I'm on my way." He looked up at the stranger again. "What do you want from me?" he asked. "Nothing much just something you don't use much. Your soul." He smiled. "What do I get out of it?" Shadow asked. "Dolly's happiness, power, and the furry's planet." The Stranger answered. "When?" Shadow asked. "When I'm ready, I'll come for you just sign here." Shadow signed the paper and gave it back to him. "Good, good, don't worry I'll handle Dolly's father." The stranger said walking away into the fog and disappearing into the night. Shadow walked out his house and closed the door. He ran over to Dolly's place and knock on the door. She answers it and jumped into his arms in tears. "I don't want him to come and get me I don't want to leave. I love it here please don't let him get me." She cried. "Who?.. What? What is going on?" "My father is coming to get me and the cops are come to take me to safe place tomorrow. I don't want to go." Shadow hugged her tight. "I won't let them, I will not let them take you." He said from his heart. They looked into each others eyes. Dolly knew he was going to protect her. "Thank you." She said with a little smile. Shadow felt himself moving into her face then his watch beeped. You still want to go to the dance?" Shadow asked. "Yes." She said. "Here. Just incase something bad happens, I want you to have this." She took off her necklace and put it around his neck. "Thanks." He smiled. They got on Shadow's motorcycle and rode off to the dance. Chapter 5 A dance to die for They pulled into the parking lot of the school. Shadow turned it off and they got up and headed for the door. "Shadow wait... I don't really feel like this right now, please take me some where else." She told him holding her stomach. Shadow looked at her. "Dolly... no matter what happens, I'll always protect you. I would give my life for you." He said grabbing her hands. "Done." The stranger said coming from behind a tree. He tossed something to Shadow. It was Dolly's father's head. A smile came to Dolly's face as she took it from him. You got what you disserved you fucke'n bastered." She kicked it back to the stranger and grabbed Shadows hand and when to the dance. The stranger picked up the head and dusted it off. "I said Dolly's father I didn't say anything about the cops." He said with a Sick laugh. In the school, Dolly met up with her friends and Shadow went to the bar. "Dr. Pepper please." He said to the bar tenders as he sat down. Mr. Orton came up beside him. "Mountain Dew." He said. "So what's up?" he asked Shadow. "Nothing much, just hanging out, you?' "Nothing just bored. You know you sure are lucky to have a girl like that around." "Yeah. I should be, I gave my soul for her." Shadow said. "Yeah. I got to go I have a driving test tomorrow and I need to get up early." Mr. Orton said finishing his drink. "Alright. Hey, On your way out, ask the DJ to play this? Track 12." Shadow handed a CD to him and on his way out he did. 'Kiss By a Rose' started to play and Dolly turn to Shadow with a shocking smile. Shadow took one last drink and then he walked over to Dolly. "Can I have this dance?" He asked. "Yes. Yes you can." She was breathless. She could not believe that he remember that she loved this song. She took his hand and they walked to the dance floor. It's a slow dance so they were close to each other. At the end of the song Shadow looked into her eyes and she look back with a smile. She moved close to him until her lips met his. Their first kiss was in front of everyone and they didn't give a damn. Dolly was happy and Shadow couldn't of wish for anything Else.
