The Unbreakable Bonds of Family
It's my daydreams that caused this story and I decided to write it somewhere so I'm writing it here and also because I'm a huge fantasy fan and love anything fantasy related!
It all started in a small village, the crisp autumn air flowing throughout it. People were walking on the paths and going to the small stands that had potions and other magic healing items, the training fields were full of trainee knights, archers, mages and the captains supervising them. The knights were clashing as their wooden swords made noise when they came into contact with another, the archers were at the targets shooting arrows into them, the mages were practicing magic and simple spells.
Everything was calm and peaceful except for a boy yelling as he being chased by the bullies of the town. The boy was treated differently than everyone because he was different and had extra features. He had blue wolf ears and a blue wolf tail, he had two different colored eyes, his right eye was blue as his left was a deep crimson red, he was a trainee knight and was skilled in the art of combat but he had something that made him special. "Stop chasing me! When the instructor hears about this then he'll stop your training!" I yelled at them while running as fast as I could.
"Not a chance! Freaks like you don't belong in the village, they belong in the forest like the animal they are!" One of the bullies shouted. "Yeah! Get lost freak show! No one would ever love a freak like you, not even your mom and dad would haha!" One of the other bullies shouted while he threw a rock at me barely missing the back of my head.
"Haha! You missed me!" I said triumphantly not noticing where the rock went.
"I wasn't aiming for you freak show!" He yelled smugly.
"Then where were you ai---!" I couldn't finish my sentence as I tripped over something and scraped my knee on the stone pathway.
"Nice shot!" The third bully said while giving the other two bullies high fives.
"Now tell us why you did it! Why did you spread all those rumors about us!" The first bully said while grabbing me by the collar of my shirt.
"For the last time I don't know what your tal---" I was cut off by a punch to the stomach knocking the wind out of me.
"Don't play dumb, we know you did it, I saw you!" The second bully yelled.
"I...didn't do...anything or say...anything about you three now leave me...alone." I said as I was struggling to regain my breathe.
"Not a chance, I don't believe what your saying for a second but maybe we can come up with a solution. How about you tell me where your amulet is and maybe we can put this all behind us...or we could throw you into the forest and leave you there to die by the monsters that live there." The first bully said with a sadistic grin on his face.
"Wait, you were actually serious about throwing him into the forest? Don't you think that's a bit much?" The second bully asked with a slightly fearful expression.
"I think it's just right for a freak like him. So what's your decision dog boy?" The first bully asked whilst tightening his grip on the collar of my shirt.
"I'd rather die than give you a precious gift I received for my birthday last year. And your too weak to even use it so why even bother giving you something you could never use." I told him firmly.
"So be it. Both of you, hold him up." The first bully said while the other two held me up by my arms while blood was dripping from my scraped knee.
"Any last words?" He said to me.
"Go to hell you sadistic son of a bitch." I told him.
"We're so sorry." The bullies holding me up whispered as the one in front knocked me out.
In the forest.
I slowly started to regain consciousness after being knocked out by that bully and my head felt like it was hit with a large rock. "Hmm...where am I? Oh yeah, I remember that those bullies took me into the forest." I said to myself.
I noticed that there was a rustling noise coming from nearby that grew more and more intense. "Who's there? Is that you Ignis?" I called out making the rustling from the bushes nearby to stop and give off a suspenseful aura. The rustling started again but grew more intense by the second making me very frightened as I was shaking with fear until a small white bunny had hopped out of the bushes.
"Phew! Just a bunny." I sighed in relief as the rustling started back up again scaring the bunny and making it run away in a random direction.
"What is it now!" I complained out loud.
"Ignis, if this is your idea of a prank then it's not funny! Show yourself!" I demanded as that got the rustling to stop but was replaced with a low growl.
"Umm...Ignis, is that you? I don't think it is." I said to myself while stepping back and tripping.
"What are you doing out all the way here in my forest, little pup?" A feminine voice asked startling me and making me jump a little.
"W-who's there and where are you!" I asked nervously.
"I could ask you the same thing, little pup." The voice said.
