The duo arrived in a different village a few days ago, helping out the townspeople in any way they can.
And the two weren't alone.
Another Void Knight was there, Skyclaw training with her. To both of their astonishments, the other Void Knight used a Void Sword, but the amethyst on the pommel was removed and she still had another Void Sword on her back.
Lexiss was walking around, helping whenever they could with either large or menial tasks alike.
But the reverie that Lexiss gained from the work was shattered by a cry.
"Who can help?!"
Lexiss turned to see a cheetah running quickly into the village, breathing heavily. Probably more out of apprehension than exhaustion. The fox calmly walked up to the cheetah, who was still screaming for any bit of help.
"Sir, you need help?" Lexiss asked, one hip up with a paw resting on it, the twinblade in the other.
The cheetah whirled around to look at the Bright Knight, eyes showing the fear, clear as day. The cheetah gripped Lexiss' upper arms, the tight grip not felt by the fox.
"My wife! She's been trapped in rock. Please, paladin, help me," the cheetah pleaded.
Lexiss raised a paw in front of the cheetah's face to calm him down, "I will help you, but you need to be calm to show me where she is."
The cheetah nodded and beckoned Lexiss to follow. He took Lexiss deep into the forest, towards the mountain base, where they found the wife, her body encased but her head was free.
Lexiss began to channel Bright, the golden sapphire hilt sparking in response, and the fox felt stronger than before, but tiring quickly. When Lexiss got close enough, the Bright Knight sent a punch out on the rock and the rock burst open.
The female cheetah fell forwards, but her husband caught her. He pulled her up in a cradle, looking at Lexiss with blessings in his eyes.
"Go back to the village, and warn the two duelling Void Knights. Tell them to head mountain-wards," Lexiss instructed, spinning the twinblades in preparation.
The footfalls he heard evident for the cheetah's escape. Lexiss headed further into the forest, spying the grey mountain piercing the sky.

Skyclaw and this other Void Knight, Vex, finished their duel, both having removed both sections to breath easier.
The impacts of feet on ground alerted the two, seeing a male cheetah run towards them.
"I was sent to get you two by the paladin," he said, narry a hint of exhaustion in him.
"Where?" Skyclaw asked.
The cheetah pointed towards the mountain, to which Skyclaw groaned.
'Shit, I've heard about this mountain, and all its bad tales,' he thought as he placed both sections of his helm back on and broke off into a run.

This cave.....
Something's within.
Lexiss began to walk inside, apprehensive as to what's inside.
The air grew stale as the natural light was swallowed, the only light reflected off of Lexiss' armour.
The smallest ruins of old kingdoms laid strewn as the cave progressed. Weapons of ages long gone, rusted beyond repair, pieces of art bleached to nothing and the canvas rotted, and the smallest of potteries smoothed out and insignia lost.
"So, thou hast come."
Lexiss looked around the small section around them, the twinblade at the ready.
"Thine curiosity, or vengeance, ends anon."
"Show yourself, or forever be a coward known!" Lexiss yelled into the cave, peering around any pieces of debris.
A serpentine dragon walked into Lexiss' sights, odd blue armour, faded with time, adorned him.
Lexiss' yellow sapphire sparked in preparation, but the fox didn't begin channelling Bright.
"I only wish to speak with the one who caused the entrapment. Nothing more."
