Part 7 Final Prayer

Beelzebub had finally been stabilized from the "poison" she had been effect with, with further examination by the doctors in hell they had discovered roughly what Had happened to their Lord only a few weeks before. Xaviers body had been nothing more than a vessel for Oggstrosse to use to invoke chaos, it had been so simple just build up the threat level between Heaven and Hell until the tension grew so high that war would break out.

Then go in and clean up house and take over before any sort of resistance could be gathered, yet because of what B-man had done those plans were almost foiled, or at least set back hence needing to effect Beelzebub. B-man couldn't help but feel guilty as Beelzebub was placed into her bed, she looked as limp as death as the covers were brought over her body, one of the doctors glanced back to B-man then walked over to him- "She shall recover"

B-man looked over to the doctor then back to Beelzebub before being guided out of the room, a group of guards eyed the human for a brief second before looking straight head. Sky soon joined B-man who was looking at the bedroom door once more, the guilt on his face was more than apparent. "B? You okay?" -with a sigh B-man looked back to his friend- "I...I don't know Sky, all of this is still so much to take in. I just hope we weren't too late."

-The doctor spoke- "She should be alright, but she is very weak. The substance used wreaked havoc with her internal organs." -B-man couldn't help but ask- " is there anything I can do to help?" -the doctor looked at the mortal in surprise, clearly not expecting that sort of question. No one noticed Devidra until she spoke up. "You'd be willing to help even after all that has transpired?" -B-man and Sky almost jumped out of their skins as they whirled around to see the Elder Goddess standing behind them-

-B-man nodded slowly then looked down slightly averting his eyes while he spoke.- "I don't blame her for what she did, I mean if she hadn't you wouldn't have been able to help her." -Devidra's eyes narrowed at B-man, she was of course the Elder of Judgment, slowly she walked past B-man and Sky to Beelzebubs bedroom door- " Do not disturb me for the next few hours" -Those demons around grunted from the order before Devidra phased through the door-

B-mans shoulders slumped as he let off a long sigh- "what a way to end a year" -Sky blinked- "what now?" -B-man looked to his friend- " it's new years eve tomorrow" -Sky nodded slowly- " oh yeah...what a way to toast 2008..." -before they knew it Beelzebubs General and Gabriel stepped up to both of them, The general spoke first squarely at B-man- "come with me mortal, you as well fledgling" -Gabriel nodded as Sky looked to his commanding officer for confirmation-

The four of them were lead into a large conference room that was already having a debate underway, Beelzebubs brother "god" was at the head of the table who was soon joined by Beelzebubs head general, Gabriel sat to one side along with his brothers. Various other seats were filled with other demons and angels alike, B-man and Sky sat to the side and listened to the briefing

Speculations flew around the room along with possible solutions to the problem, yet each time something had been agreed on the course of action changing. It was the classic example of dis trust among all those present, God finally called things to order- "Enough! We are going around in circles, let us stick to a simple form of progression in these matters. Angels and demons shall form groups, then begin to comb areas of earth."

There were audible groans of discomfort at the mention, yet it would have to be done. Then eyes trained to B-man who stiffened as God spoke- "Mr Devlin come here." -reluctantly B-man walked around the large table and stood by Gods side, God glanced B-man up and down- "I hope you understand that we would not want to put your life in danger enough as it is, but due to the circumstances I can only ask this as a favour"

B-man nodded slowly as he spoke- "you want me to set myself as the bait?" -Sky hissed as he protested- "Your not going alone B, not if I can help it" -God looked to Sky- "I wouldn't have done so otherwise, Gabriel?- -Gabriel stood at attention- "Yes M'Lord?" -God looked back to B-man- "You are to accompany this mortal back to earth, you will be joined by Beelzebubs top general and the young Sky" -Gabriel nodded- "Yes sir." -The archangel turned to B-man- "are you ready?" -With a pained expression B-man nodded, he was just about to turn to leave but paused-

"Um, M'Lord?" -God looked at B-man- " what is it?" -B-man looked uncomfortable as he asked- " If Beelzebub wakes up could you...." -God raised a white eyebrow as B-man continued- " Could you tell her that I don't blame her?" -God nodded slowly before Gabriel put a arm around B-man and guided him outside of the conference room, those deities watched the four of them leave. Michelangelo ruffled his wings slightly as he spoke- "forgiving the Devil...that is a first..." -God nodded slowly- "He is different that much we can say..."

In the corridors Sky couldn't help but ask- "You don't blame her?" -B-man shook his head slightly- "The more of this side of things I see Sky, the more I can't help but think it's just like being in a position of power on earth" -Sky blinked, while Gabriel and Beelzebubs General couldn't help but glance at each other as B-man continued- "there are times where that person hates their line of work, other times they enjoy it but is it a reflection of what that person really is like?"

Sky slowly nodded understanding then chuckled as B-man finished his thought- " maybe Beelzebub is a nice... " -Gabriel couldn't help but cough while the General just stared at B-man in amazement at what he was saying, the General grunted- "do not fool yourself Mortal, I have known our Lord far longer than you, I have seen other Satans crumble before her brutality. Do not delusion yourself, when she awakens she will have your hide."

Gabriel looked to the General- "If we all survive the encounter" -B-man shook his head slightly while Sky finally asked- "so where on earth are we going first?" -Gabriel rubbed his chin slightly- "Let is continue in the area where the mortal was attacked.-B-man spoke up sounding slightly annoyed- " I do have a name you know?" -Gabriel blinked as did the general, Sky chuckled slightly as B-man shook his head-

Gabriel grunted as he cleared his throat, while the general rolled his flaming eyes- "Right, Brandon was it?" -B-man nodded as he replied- " Or just B-man or B...whatever is easier" -Gabriel raised a eyebrow slightly as the group vanished into a shaft of energy, soon enough they reappeared in roughly the same area where B-Man had been attacked by Beelzebub only hours before.

B-man shivered from the sudden cold that surrounded him once more, he looked around remembering he had left his jacket here during the fight, while he looked for his jacket Sky, Gabriel, and the general looked about the area. B-man managed to find his jacket and shook the snow out of the sleeves before slipping it back on, looking back he couldn't help but ask- "are you guys cold at all? Or do those of Heaven and Hell not suffer from that?"

-The General smirked slightly as Gabriel explained- "No we are not, at least not usually. Depending on the situation we can..."-The Archangel tried to put it simpler terms, Sky spoke up- "WE can pretty much block those out B, some sort of technique I was taught.' -B-man nodded slightly as the group continued to go through the spots where B-man had planned to look, as they approached the nostrils of the two felines flared in discomfort.-

The General let off a low growl at the scent before them, B-man blinked as he stopped in mid stride to look back- "what's wrong?" -THe General let off a growl- "blood is in the air, not fresh but nonetheless it is present" -B-man looked back to the rock face as the others joined in at the rock face, Sky covered his nose with his right hand- "something else, it's like...it's like something's been dead in there for a while."

B-man looked back to the rock face- "But...where?" -The general growled as he placed his massive hand on the rock face, it flickered then rippled like water as the demon's hand moved in up to his wrist- "a illusion and a very good one at that, this is a mixture of spells though" -Gabriel cursed under his breath as the group moved inside, instantly they were assaulted by the stench of death. Sky glanced over at his friend whose jaw was clenched tightly to try and not vomit.

Cautiously the group continued inside the cavern that was covered in patches of blood, bones, and various other bits of entrails that were shriveled up, like something had just drained them of all bodily fluids. They reached the main chamber unscathed but the intent of the cavern was apparent, a tomb that had been turned into a sacrificial chamber. Sky looked around appalled by sight while B-man just stood there trembling with his hands clenched into fists.

In the middle of the oval chamber was a stone sarcophagus covered in writing between Holy and Unholy, Gabriel walked over slowly to the tomb to examine it. Sky glanced back to his friend who was standing in opening still, was it fear or just the horrors of what had happened in the chamber that stopped him. The General let off a growl as he stepped over to the stone pit and looked in, it was empty and had been for sometime maybe weeks or months. "Blood of the innocent shall awaken the greatest evil we have ever known"

Gabriel growled then slammed both his fists onto the stone wall of the sarcophagus causing it to crack, Sky jumped in surprised at his commanding officers actions. If this sight was enough to cause a archangel to lose his self control then the situation was just that bad. "Sir?" -Sky asked as Gabriel turned around with his lion ears back and teeth bared- " He isn't here...hmm?...Brandon! Behind you!"

-B-man didn't move as the lack shadow leapt out at B-man who turning into the creatures direction, Sky spun around as well and was about to attack along with Gabriel when B-man lashed out driving his right index and middle finger into the creatures disfigured head. The creature locked up and stood there trembling as B-man stepped back, Sky looked to the creature then his friend who had a look of disgust on his face. With a blood curdling scream the creature erupted into a spray of energy and bodily fluids.

The Creatures own body forced out it's disfigured skeleton from behind which also vaporized long before it could hit the ground, The Generals brow was knit as he squared up to B-man. "How?" -B-man looked back to the group behind him as Gabriel was speechless at the violence and brutality displayed by this mortal, Sky meanwhile just looked down at the puddle of dark fluid had had once been a living being.

B-man finally broke the long silence- " I found some scrolls after I squared off with Wolf again...one was for the Tengoku-Ken or what ever it really is called, the other was for my Kayo-Ken." -Gabriel nodded slowly- " we will go into that later, I don't think that was a random attack you had to endure" -the General looked around the room- "we are being watched, tested, which means we must leave now" Gabriel nodded in agreement, Sky was still shaken as Gabriel placed a hand on the neko's shoulder- "Sky?"

Sky shook his head slightly coming out of his shocked trance, then he looked back to B-man who didn't say anything as he began to walk out of the chamber while the General stepped up to the two angels- "something must have happened." -Gabriel looked back- "what do you mean? Something has happened" -The general shook his head- " Why the sudden take over and poisoning of our Lord? If this all recent then why?"

-Sky blinked a few times then spoke- "Wouldn't this Oggstrosse be weakened from being taken out of his errr Tomb?" -Gabriel wondered aloud as the group began to make their way out of the chamber- " unless he is already at full strength, or has found a way to regenerate himself much quicker." -The answer came like a lighting bolt as Sky and B-man looked at one another- "the mystic waters by the dojo"

B-mans shoulders slumped- " then he might be at full power already" -Gabriel growled then hissed as he grabbed B-man, Sky and the general as they all teleported in one flash of energy. Then they hit a brick wall as all four were ejected from the teleportation shaft , each one hit the ground kicking up a snow fluffy for the next few minutes. As the group were starting get their baring and get up a feeling ran through their spines.

In front of them through the forest several shadows started to move, then jump from tree to tree before oozing out into the open field, B-man grimaced- "More of them...damnit" -Gabriel and the General got up first followed by Sky who rushed to help B-man, another shadow started to walk through the tree line the outline was dark with feline like features but the energy it was giving out was incredible.

"Oggstrosse..." -Gabriel Grimaced then looked to the General- "I can't teleport can you? " -the general shook his head slowly- "I've been trying since I got up...we are alone on this one" -Gabriel frowned as he moved up to the General who was preparing his own weapon out of hell fire, the general asked Both B-man and Sky- " Can you two weaklings handle the lower demons?"

-Sky growled as he got ready his nails already starting to glow for his cutting attack, while B-man rolled up his jacket sleeves- "We don't have a choice at all in this matter" -Oggstrosse slowly moved out into full view he was a mix of species it looked like to B-man, feline, bat like wings on his back, yet his legs were like that almost of a goat but with hooves from a horse. Scales covered it' legs with spikes protruding from parts of the Archdemons body-

Sky hissed as he moved up to B-man to take his fighting stance- "This guys a totally different ball game from Wolf." -B-man winced trying to focus while Gabriel and the General got ready as well, Oggstrosse merely stood there while his lower demons began to lurch towards the group. Arcs of energy started to spark over Gabriels and the Generals body, B-man and Sky meanwhile ran out more into the open.

With a flurry of snow shot up into the air as Oggstrosse, Gabriel, and the General all vanished in a high burst of speed, while B-man and Sky started to combat the creatures created from the shadows. In the chambers of Heaven and Hell angels and demons alike watched on to the battle that was beginning, but Devidra on the other hand was high above those who fought, beyond their abilities to see or sense.

Below Sky and B-man were having a tough time yet they were beginning to get the upper hand over the creatures, Gabriel and the General were barely able to combat Oggstrosse even at full power, but as the fierce battle progressed it was more than obvious that the Archdemon was weakening much faster than expected. With a sudden roar from Oggstrosse, The General went down first being cut in half as the archdemons tail swiped hard.

There wasn't even a scream from the General as his empty shell of a body hit the ground from the air in a bloody pile, while Gabriel lashed out with his holy blade which was engulfed in holy energy with all his might, the blade just grazing Oggstrosse's chest and part of his stomach while the energy discharged. Black blood ran down the archdemons chest but it was the last thing Gabriel was able to do as knocked out of the air by a full force kick even as he blocked with his wings.

Sky meanwhile lashed out at another enemy shredding it with his claw cutting technique while B-man knocked out another creature, both Sky and B-man spun around as Gabriel hit the ground and skipped like a stone then stopped making a large snow mound as his limp body slide to a stop- "Oh god." -B-man grimaced as Jack landed albeit a bit unsteady, the arch demons energy seemed to be lowering as well at an alarming rate.

Sky shouted- "B! WE can take him!" -B-man hesitated for a moment as Sky lashed out- " Sky Wait!" -it was too late as Sky tried to attack but as blocked then spun around in mid air, he screamed in pain as his wings were violently torn off from his back, then tossed to the side like garbage followed by Sky who hit a tree leaving a blue white substance on the trunk before his body hit the snow covered ground, B-man rushed over to his fallen friend who was conscious.

Turning Sky over on the ground he looked at his friend whom coughed- " whoa...what the hell hit me?" -B-man winced then looked back at Oggstrosse who began to walk towards the two, ready to finish them off. Sky coughed up as he spoke- "B...t..this is all happening so fast....where did it all go wrong?" -B-man looked back as sweat started to bead at his brow- " Sky! Just hang tight" -Sky laughed painfully as he rolled onto his side- " W...Why is it that you always have to save me"

-B-man looked back to his friend then back to Oggstrosse who continued to walk towards the two, quickly B-man ran off in another direction but was stopped as the archdemon was straight in front of him. B-man was barely able to block the punch as he used his Kayo-Ken attack as Oggstrosse went into the swing, the impact sent him sliding back then he went into a tumble.

Crashing into more fallen trees his jacket shredded off his body along with right shirt sleeve along with the shoulder portion of his t-shirt, he landed on his stomach a gasp- God, he's going to rip me apart -his mind raced trying to think of how to approach the situation, it wasn't like anything he had faced before.

-as his senses came into focus once more he could feel the ArchDemon ahead, it was getting weaker but it was still far stronger than what he could handle. At least with what he had available to do it, unless he pushed his one technique that much further. The Kayo-Ken... Damn it, I only just managed to double the attack, and even that hurt like hell.

okay body...hold together...-getting up slowly he looked up as Oggstrosse was coming towards him, yet slower than before. Pushing away all doubt like he did when facing Wolf B-man let loose, Snow began to billow around B-mans body as his energy started to increase that much more, Oggstrosse paused for a moment in his tracks eyeing the mortal before him but then continued forward.

The seconds that passed her utter agony as B-man's body began to show the first signs of his power up, his muscles started to strain then flex so hard that veins could be seen. Sky grimaced as he looked up as steam started to rise up from his friends body next, a combination of sweat being produced and snow around him shot upwards in a vapour- _three......four?...how the hell are you doing it B? _

-B-man's pupils started to glow for a split second as he glared at the Archdemon walking towards him, while Arcs of red white bio electrical energy started to rise off his body as he took his fighting stance, through clenched teeth he spoke- "San Bai Kayo-Ken!" -Oggstrosse paused for a moment in mid stride now as the energy spiked upwards that much more, Gabriel who was now coming to focused on B-man who was preparing to attack.

Oggstrosse started to walk forward again seemingly unfazed by the increase in energy, while B-man strained against the pain that began to overcome his body-"Hien Shippu-Kayk!" -Oggstrosse jerked to the left just missing the flying side kick then the mid air reverse crescent kick, B-mans heel just missed the archdemons face but the energy aura gazed his cheek.

Though in mid spin Oggstrosse moved to right back fist B-man whom just managed to block with his blocked with his opposing forearm, the force sent him sliding but not as far as the demon was expecting. Gabriel grimaced as he could see the snow melting while B-man's energy still grew- eight, no nine. -Oggstrosse leapt into the air as his left fist started to glow with black energy mixed with hell fire, B-man responding in kind cupping his hands to his side- "Haou!"

Oggstrosse lashed out with his burning fist while B-man thrusted his arms forward- "Shoukou-Ken!" -Sky and Gabriel shut their eyes as the blast wave almost blinded them, the explosion itself tore into the ground sending rocks flying that splintered tree trunks. Yet as the light faded they could see the two combatants together, hands locked in each others trying to over power one another.

The Archdemons serious demeanour began to change as the seconds passed, it's teeth were now grit as the two combatants struggled to outdo one another. While one's strength was fading due to his awakening and rapid healing, while the others body was becoming more and more strained to keep up his strength. WIth a sudden jerk B-man tried to pull the archdemon forward and drive his right knee into it's stomach, it worked only just as Oggstrosse flew upwards from the impact but came to a stop in mid air.

Oggstrosse dive bombed B-man who just managed to leapt over the attack, but before the archdemon could turn back and attack, B-man drove into him with every bit of energy and strength he had left. Sky grimaced as he tried to sit up, while Gabriel watched on astonished as the spectacle continued before his eyes. Each second passed as Oggstrosse went in to strike the mortal down, only to be thwarted as B-man adapted to the situation and retaliated with equal force.

Both traded blow after bone jarring blow, the area they fought in tore up from the force being unleashed. Damn it B come on! Block! -Sky almost jumped out of his skin as he heard Gabriel speak in his mind- He can't young one, neither can Oggstrosse, they are both well past the point of exhaustion. -Using his smaller size to his advantage B-man dove into the opening created by the demons larger size, his right Cross counter punch caused the archdemons eyes to glaze over before going into a spin.

Just then B-man's strained muscles convulsed causing him to lock up in mid movement, as Oggstrosse used the spin to drive his right elbow down into B-man's right shoulder joint. The sound of B-man's agony filled the air as she crashed to the ground kicking up snow, Oggstrosse staggered back slightly as his legs trembled. The impact had been more damaging than expected, the archdemon moved in to finish off the human who was face down in the snow and seemed to be out cold. As soon as the Oggstrosse was in arms length B-man got to his hand and knees, the force his sudden aura caused snow, dirt, and rocks to shoot up and out all around him.

It all happened in a instant for Oggstrosse who tried to move back but his legs gave in, He tried to flap his wings to fly but B-man was already on his feet unleashing most devastating attack along with the Kayo-Ken- "Chou! Kyokugenryu Ougi!" -Pushing past the pain that almost blinded him, B-man lashed out with everything he had left to give. The multiple punches and kicks landed precisely on the archdemons body dealing the most damage he possibly could deliver, the double rising uppercut sent Oggstrosse flying backwards into the air and land on his back gasping.

The torment was too much for B-man's tortured muscles, as he landed on his feet and tired to use his Haou Shoukou-Ken his body finally locked up fully. With a Cry of agony B-man hit the ground trembling as his muscle convulsed on their own, Sky tried to move himself but he wasn't healing up fast enough. Gabriel couldn't move either as several shadow demons came out of the woods towards their Lord, whom seemed to be unconscious.

B-man grimaced as he shouted- " Someone stop them!" -Sky cried out as he tried to move but was still immobile- " I can't!" -B-man gasped out as even breathing caused him to go into pain, but the group knew it wasn't over as Oggstrosse looked at them and spoke in a voice that would haunt them even their dreams- "This is far from over..." -B-man had finally passed out, but Oggstrosse was far gone long before help arrived.
