There was a glitch in Pokemon Gold and Silver that allowed you to clone your pokemon when depositing it in the PC Boxes. What would happen if a pair of anthro pokemon decided to utilise that glitch for themselves? Especially one with as flexible DNA code as an Eevee?

“Are you sure this is going to work?”

The Buizel glanced back and grinned. Its twin tails thumped against the floor. “Guaranteed to work. I’ve tested it plenty of times already, don’t worry,” River said, holding its hand out to the nervous Eevee.

Echo nodded and held out their hand to take hold of the Buizel’s. Before them both was an array of computers and machines that looked a little intimidating at first, but River assured the apprehensive Eevee that they were all safe. In the middle of it all was a pair of small pods that could be modified for larger pokemon, but was easily big enough for either the Eevee or Buizel to stand in comfortably.

Echo hugged their tail close to their body as they stood inside one of the pods and the door closed. They couldn’t help but feel a little flutter of nerves, despite River’s assurances of the safety of the procedure. The hum of electricity grew as River switched on the machine, making Echo’s fur stand on end. The Buizel had explained the process several times. The machine was existing technology that had been used for many generations. It allowed pokemon to be ‘deposited’ in electronic format, but the process had a few hidden quirks and glitches that River said it had perfected.

As the machine activated fully, Echo felt a strange moment where their mind was being pulled in different directions. It was painful, just momentarily confusing and uncomfortable. They were familiar with the boxing process, but never had it felt quite like this before. Then, as suddenly as it had started, the bizarre tugging at their mind ceased, but there was still a strange detachment they couldn’t explain. The pod door swung open again, and the Eevee stumbled out.

“That’s… that’s it? I don’t feel any different,” Echo asked. They frowned and flicked their long, tufted ear and ruffled one hand through their thick neck fur.

River held up one finger. “Not done just yet,” it said, before pointing across to the second pod. It prepared to press down a big red button. Because of course there was a big red button. “Watch in there and see.”

Echo turned a curious eye to the second pod. It was completely empty, but the Eevee was prepared for something strange to happen. There was still a strange absence in their mind, but nothing that was cause for concern.

As soon as River pressed the button, a bright flash emerged from the pod, forcing Echo to hold their arm up to shield their eyes. The emptiness in their mind was filled as they opened the door to the pod and stared at their first body as they lowered their arm down to stare back. They held their hands up and pressed palms together, fingers entwined as Echo stared at themselves.

Away to their side, River whooped and punched the air. “It worked perfectly,” the Buizel exclaimed. It clapped its hands together as its twin tails wagged furiously. “The new body is a perfect match to the original, but they don’t have to stay that way. I can tweak a few things to provide some alterations, and I’ve already added one new feature to your body. Give your hand a little pull.”

Flicking their ears, Echo pulled on their entwined hands. To their surprise, both hands popped free from their wrists and fell to the floor, though they could still feel the two hands clenching against each other. Their wrists ended in a smooth stump covered in fur, looking like there had never been a hand attached to them. Both bodies grinned widely at this new development.

“It’s perfect,” Echo said, using both mouths to speak. They giggled and hugged each other tight. Their two bodies felt so natural to use, but they were sure there was a few little quirks they’d need to get used to, like speaking out of just one mouth. To help them adjust, they reached out and plucked the muzzle off of one face, leaving behind a smooth furred patch, and slipped it into their sheath. Both bodies shivered as they felt the muzzle merging with, and replacing, what lay within.

“I can do more if you like,” River said. It grinned from the console, seemingly just about resisting bounding over to the doubled-up Eevee.

“Do I need to go back in?” Echo asked, pointing to the pod with one of their handless arms. They giggled and reached down to pick up the two hands. They frowned at them, turning the clasped palms around and around as they tried to work out which hand originally belonged to which body. They then shrugged and just reattached them both without worrying about it. The bodies were both identical, after all. It didn’t matter which one the hands went to.

As Echo focused on their detached hand, River answered the question by pressing the button and unleashing the flash of light again. This time, the Buizel had tinkered with the code inputs, and the new body that Echo stepped out of the pod was slightly different. Their fur was a different colour. Instead of the usual brown, it had a silvery tint to it. Echo gasped and held six hands to their muzzles – at least, to two muzzles and one smooth mouthless face. “I’ve always wanted to be a shiny Eevee!”

In no time at all, the three bodies jumped together and embraced. Hands wandered and explored, giving a few little squeaks of delight as Echo gave themselves a thorough examination. One body grinned out towards River from the tangle of Eevee limbs and bodies. “So what exactly can you do with that thing?”

River’s grin grew even wider. “Oh, anything at all! Just have a look at this.”

Another bright flash of light emerged from the pod, and it didn’t take Echo long to realise what was so different about this fourth body. They retained the shiny colouration from their third, but instead of being flat-chested, they sported a large pair of breasts. Eight hands stroked over them as Echo cooed over their new assets. They even pulled them off their chest and felt their heavy weight fully in their hands.

By the time River got their attention again, Echo had placed one breast on each of the mundane-coloured bodies. The shiny form fur stood out amongst the brown fur, but had otherwise stuck in place perfectly, looking like they naturally belonged there.

“More?” River asked, though from its tone it already knew what the answer was going to be.

“More!” Echo crowed out, three of their four bodies crying out the answer at once. The fourth merely clapped then gave a thumbs up.

River quickly obliged. The Buizel tinkered each time it slapped the button, so Echo discovered new differences each time they stepped a new body out of the machine. They were all Eevees, and they all shared modular capabilities, so they were quickly mixed up into the growing jumble of parts that were passed around between the numerous bodies.

Echo lost track of just how many bodies they had by the time River finally stopped producing new ones. They believed they could count nearly twenty torsos, but they quickly lost track of them all every time they tried to count themselves. Not once did they feel overwhelmed by the sensory overload of seeing with so many eyes, or hearing with so many ears. Each mind was able to process all the information individually, with one overarching mind that controlled and made sense of it all. It was intense, but incredibly enjoyable.

Each body, even before Echo started to mix up the modular bodyparts, were different. But what they all had in common was that they were different to the original somehow. Some had more limbs, with extra legs or arms being added to their collection. Others contained a various mixture of genitalia and breasts of varying sizes and types. About half of the bodies were of the shiny variant, with the remainder retained Echo’s original brown and cream colouring.

River moved away from the console and reached out to take hold of Echo’s nearest hand. The Buizel kissed the hand gently and grinned. “Enjoying yourself there then? Which one even is the original body?”

“Does it matter?” Echo replied, every available muzzle responding at the same time. They created an echoed voice that reverberated around the lab, the giggling laughter of nearly twenty Eevee mouths followed shortly afterwards. “But yes, this all feels like so much fun, thank you! How long do the bodies all last?”

This time it was River’s turn to giggle. “Permanently!” the Buizel exclaimed. It clapped its hands together and gave another kiss to the nearest Echo body. “They’re all here to stay!”

The multiple-bodied Eevee squeaked in delight. One body kissed River in delight, surprising the Buizel with a cocktongue teasing at its mouth. “I can’t believe it, thank you,” the Eevee said, using a different muzzle to speak. Even they weren’t sure exactly which body they were using, but nor did it matter.

The Buizel blushed deeply as it felt the cocktongue brushing over its mouth. “Oh, goodness. You have been mixing things up a lot already! Should I leave all of your yous to some private time?”

One of Echo’s bodies emerged from the mass of Eevee’s. Apart from being a shiny, the body appeared largely normal for Echo, with the right amount of heads and limbs attached, though there was no sign of any genitalia present. They picked up River and hugged the Buizel close. “You can give my privacy while I stay with you now,” the Eevee said with a grin.

“Mmm, that’s true,” River replied. The Buizel nuzzled and kissed the Eevee again, its two tails swishing happily from side to side. “Well just don’t make a mess of my lab and I can show you a few other things I’m working on, if you like.”

Life was certainly different for Echo now. The Eevee had been forced to adjust to a few new things with so many bodies to control. Not only had their food budget rocketed, but their apartment had proven to be too small. Though their bodies didn’t require privacy from each other, but Echo still needed the physical space for them all to exist together.

Of course, the positives all far outweighed the negatives. Echo adored their new bodies. They were able to multitask like never before, and they were able to explore new configurations for their bodies with a new form whenever they liked. Not once did they go out with any of their bodies looking like their old, original self. They did soon settle into a favourite form they liked to use when interacting with others though: a tri-legged, four armed, and triple breasted form with a double muzzle. They couldn’t place exactly why they liked that particular body, but it just felt right to them.

Nearly three months had passed since River had gifted them with the extra bodies. They had added a few more since then, but Echo was content with the thirty bodies they now possessed. Most of the Eevee was at the new block of land they had purchased outside the city. Their army of selves had been hard at work for almost four weeks, working on the run down property they had purchased. The house was more than large enough for their mass of bodies, and due to its condition had been cheap enough for the Eevee to comfortably buy. Three of their bodies were out at work, but Echo had gone almost a week since the last time they had accidentally used their wrong body for something, which had caused a bit of embarrassment when they had forgotten which of their managers they were talking to.

Another pair of Echo’s bodies arrived in the removal van, bringing the majority of their stuff from their old apartment. Four of themselves who had previously been lying idle jumped up to start unloading the van. Echo had picked those bodies in particular for a reason, as they all possessed four arms each so they could carry all their furniture and belongings with ease. Whereas once it would have taken them hours with a single body, now it took barely twenty minutes for the van to be empty, and all of the rooms fully furnished.

High-fives went all around as the work was finally finished. Twenty-seven Eevee bodies all huddled together in the spacious living room. A few sprawled out over the sofa, while one Echo crouched in front of the fireplace to light it. “I need to speak to River and see if it can produce a Flareon self,” the Eevee muttered to themselves as the lighter failed to spark right away.

After a few more attempts, Echo had the fire roaring at last. A few of their bodies closed their eyes as the Eevee relaxed. Many eyes still remained open though. Echo hadn’t needed to relax with all bodies at the same time, or even sleep. They were able to rotate their bodies around as their needs required. It had been an interesting experience at first, realising they didn’t need to sleep with all their bodies at once, but once they were used to it they began to really enjoy it.

No two bodies amongst the pile of Echo were identical. The Eevee was unsure what parts of them were from their original body, but they didn’t really mind that. Each piece was a part of them, and they were all swapped around onto different torsos with regular abandon. Some days the bodies that weren’t out at work just became canvases for their curious mind, experimenting with new and bizarre forms.

Despite being in a new home now, some traditions carried on. Echo’s three bodies came home from work, with two more going out for some night shifts. At the same time, River popped its head in through the front door. The Buizel had seen the new place when Echo had bought it, but not since the Eevee had gotten to work on improving it. River greeted one of Echo’s bodies, this one a three-legged and six-armed shiny with four eyes and no muzzle on their head.

“I like what you’ve done with the place,” River exclaimed, before giving off an alarmed squeak as it was swept off its feet by a four-armed and headless Eevee body that had been just behind the door. Despite any lack of obvious sensory organs to guide the body, the Eevee walked unerringly towards the plethora of other bodies in the lounge room. The Buizel giggled the entire way. “And I love what you’ve done with yourself as well. All of you looks amazing as always.”

“When are you going to join all of me with all of you?” Echo replied from a double-headed body lounging by the fireplace.

“Oh I’m not quite ready to do that just yet,” River replied, a tinge of sadness entering its voice. The Buizel had explained not long after it had duplicated Echo that an Eevee was a perfect candidate for its experiment, as the species all shared a malleable genetic code. It was why Eevee had so many different evolutions, and so they were perfect for genetic editing and cloning. Buizels were proving a more difficult prospect, but a few of Echo had been helping River out at the lab. Together they would be able to work it out.

River soon ended up in its favourite place. It nestled into the multitude of Eevee bodies, soft fur, breasts, and sheathes pressing up against its body. Hands groped and massaged from all angles, and soon the Buizel had its eyes closed as it purred in delight. Echo revelled in it. Their bodies took it in turns to hug the water type close, and they wondered what it would be like when their best friend had even more bodies to cuddle. That would be a wonderful day.

The delicious aroma of cooking wafted through the house as three Echos broke in the new kitchen. They had been looking forward to the large and modern design they had chosen to decorate with. Cooking for an army of Eevee and a Buizel would normally be a difficult proposition, but Echo was able to co-ordinate their bodies with ease. Even while they played with River, they were able to chop vegetables, stir pasta, and start cooking meat all at the same time. And that wasn’t even including some of their other bodies they had snuck upstairs with to enjoy some of their more exotic pleasures.

“Oh you are a delight. I can’t wait to experience it all for myself,” River murmured. The Buizel kissed the first cheek it could find and stroked down one of Echo’s bellies.

Three kisses were immediately returned in response. “I can’t wait either,” Echo replied. They teasingly tugged at one of River’s arms. “Especially to start swapping you around too. Better make sure your parts work with mine. I want to feel what those fins are like.”

River squeaked and blushed. It nodded eagerly. “Oh, I will! So long as I get to experience all that fuzz and fluff! And only one tail. That will be weird.”

Echo giggles slowly rippled out through their bodies. “One tail is weird? Have you seen all my mes? You can do much more weird than that,” the Eevee replied. They brushed and stroked over River’s body, their many hands barely leaving an inch of the Buizel untouched. “And then we can start working on those evolution tricks as well.”

River’s eyes flicked around the room as Echo kept changing which body they spoke with. The Buizel giggled and nodded. “Oh, I can’t wait until we’re able to crack that as well! We’re going to have so much fun together. All of you and all of me.”
