M Life as a Slave

In Jail

Well life in jail for six months was better than I had expected. I had got into a fight on my first day. I held back most of my skill as well as strength. They didn't try to mess with me after that, one guy ended up in the hole for starting the fight. I was kind of going crazy trapped in there I could only read in there.

Raze showed up a lot to talk to me and keep me company. I quite enjoyed the frequent visits. I was never upset to see her. She told me I was an idiot the first time she showed up. She then continued to say I was her idiot. We had talked once a week about how our lives have been.

On the up side I had graduated high school. Sure I wasn't there to get the diploma. Raze graduated valedictorian no surprises there. Then some people came from the nation's Olympic boxing team and asked me if I would join up. Now I was hesitant about it. I knew what it was I just wasn't too sure to leave Raze by herself. Mom wasn't really there anymore, and I wasn't exactly willing to be away from her for more than a day.

Well they went and asked her and she told them she'd talk to me. I mean she was concerned about the fact that they would bother her about training. I understood that she was concerned because she had never worked out a day in her life. I told her that would have to be a condition if I did join.

Later that week I got a hold of the coach. He said he would get here today or tomorrow. I am sitting waiting for him to get here through security which tends to be a little over cautious. I had been here for at least an hour as what it always was. Then Jason came up and sat in front of me.

"Security hold you up," I asked.

"Yeah, you know how it is," he said.

"Well she said she'd sign up," I said.

"I am glad to hear it," he said.

"Well I am not signing anything yet I have some conditions first," I said.

"Well I'd be happy to hear them," he said.

"First one is already met. The second is you leave off Raze and training she has never lifted a weight,"

"Done," he said.

"Good I think we'll get along just fine then," I said.

Well I got out and we immediately (we meaning me) started training. I do love the feel of weight coming and going. II loved the feel of that thing most people call freedom. I loved all of the feeling again, it just felt right. Three months later we would be going to the summer Olympics we were going to Ukinom...
