When Seif saw that Sasuga did her part well and managed to get the class away from the scene, he was ready to give it his all to take down the Skulled demon. "Alright, my ugly skulled friend, no more holding back," Seif rumbled as he held his sword up. The demon growled and threw one of its front pointy legs down at the lion, but Seif blocked it with his big sword, pushing it off with his brute strength. The demon stumbled to the back and was left wide open for an attack, as Seif took the chance and jumped up, slashing the demon's underside with his blade, but it clanged against the solid shell, not doing any harm to it. "Damn it. Its hide is too hard," Seif grumbled, seeing that normal physical attacks weren't going to do any good against this demon. The Skulled demon screeched when it regained its balance and used one of his back limbs to attack Seif, who jumped over to the side in time to avoid it as it pierced through a tree instead like it was a toothpick. The lion thought it was better to stay at its rear side, making it difficult for the Skulled demon to see and attack him.

Seif was stunned, however, that the demon's head withdrew into its body and came out from the other side, growling at the lion and thrusting both of its front legs at the overtaken Seif. He raised his sword up and blocked both of the sharp pointy spears, wrestling it off. The demon didn't give him the chance, though, as it used another limb and swung it at Seif's side, hitting him hard and slamming him against a tree.

Seif grunted as he fell down on the ground. "Damn... this is going to be harder than I thought..." he winced as he got up on his feet, still gripping his sword in his hand. He turned to face the monster and held up his sword sideway in front of him. He then placed one hand on the rim of the blade, his hand emitting a reddish glow, and slid it along the edge, coating the blade with an intense fire and turning it into a flaming sword. He then held his sword over his head and with mighty roar, threw his blade down powerfully at the Skulled demon, creating a powerful fiery wave blast that cleaved the monster as it hit it directly, causing it to screech out in pain, the flaming cleave leaving a burning crevice on the ground. Fire seemed to be effective against the Skulled demon, but it was still up on its legs despite hurting. That didn't discourage the brave lion and he attempted to repeat the attack, only this time he sought for a direct physical hit. His last attack had depleted the flames from his blade, so Seif tried to embed it with his fire power again, but then he noticed an odd behavior from the Skulled demon. It crouched down low until its underside almost touched the ground, as if preparing for a jump. And jumped it did indeed, hopping up high into the sky, so high it felt like it was going to reach the clouds.

"Shit!" Seif's eyes widened as he realized what the Skulled demon was aiming to do and didn't think twice, sprinting away at the other direction as his surroundings darkened from being overshadowed by the large demon free falling from the sky like a meteor. The next second, it dropped down on the ground like an atomic bomb and caused a huge impact, blowing everything within a dozen of feet away from the sheer force.

"Seif!" Sasuga gasped as she and the others recovered from the big quake that drop attack created.

"Come on, lady! We're leaving!" the buss driver, a male woodpicker, called out for the kirin.

"No, you go on. I'm staying," Sasuga responded.

"Are you insane?! You'll get killed by that monster! You got to come with us!" the teacher urged her.

"I can't... Seif is... he needs me. He's my friend. I have to help him!" Sasuga said in resolve and ran off, leaving the buss.

"No, wait!"

"Just leave that crazy lady! She made her choice," the buss driver said and drove off away from the danger zone.
