"This is the place, right?" Panja asked Sasuga when they arrived at her university on his motorcycle.
"Whew... Yes, this is it, thank goodness," Sasuga breathed in relief, mostly for making it alive. That high-speed ride was nerve-racking for her.
"Oh, you'll get used to it soon; the next time won't be as scary!" Panja laughed.
"Ne... Next time?"
"Sure! I'll come back later to pick you up after school! Which reminds me, you should give me your number so we can get in touch, eh?" Panja said and made the kirin blush a little. She wasn't so thrilled about the idea about riding with him on his bike again anytime soon, but she liked that he was so interested in befriending her so fast. Panja seemed such a sweet guy to her, aside from his smoldering looks of course.
"Oh, okay, just a minute, I don't remember it well yet..." she replied as she searched through her purse for her cell phone.
"Hey, in that case, here's my number! Give me a pen," Panja said and Sasuga handed him a pen from her purse, as the white lion went ahead and wrote his phone number on her left palm. "Hrmmm, your hand feel so soft and smooth," he then complimented her as he was holding her hand in his big palms, causing her to blush even more.
"Umm, th-thanks..." Sasuga muttered bashfully.
Panja smirked back at her, "There! Don't forget to save it on your phone later, OK? The ink will wipe off of your beautiful skin right away."
Sasuga smiled back at him sweetly and nodded, "Alright, I'll keep that in mind."
"Oh, you gotta be kidding me? Another one?" Katherine's voice then interrupted them, showing up with her usual posse. "I knew you were hopeless for attention, Scaly, but this is, like, the third guy this week? Desperate much?" the female canine scoffed mockingly at Sasuga, with her two companions snickering along with her.
"Shut up, Katherine! This doesn't concern you!" Sasuga retorted crossly at the female collie.
"Awww, don't say that, dear. I'm just looking after my fellow classmate. We don't want some nasty rumors to spread over the campus, do we? Some might wonder how can someone like you be with good-looking guys... so what's your secret?" Kathrine smugly leered, infuriating Sasuga further. Normally she wouldn't let Katherine get to her like this, but she was feeling embarrassed that Panja had to witness this.
"Tha-That's not...!" Sasuga was going burst, but then she felt Panja's big hand on her shoulder.
"Hey, hey, ladies, take it easy! Play nice! We're all adults here, so there's no secret or anything of the sort. You better head along before you're late for your class, Sassy. But before you go..." Panja said and surprised Sasuga by bringing her close to him, wrapping his big arms around her and embracing her against his wide chest, then lowered his big muzzle down and pressing it into her unsuspecting lips, giving her a deep kiss.
To say that Sasuga was overtaken would be a huge understatement; she was downright astounded. She felt herself being squeezed between the lion's brawny arms and his warm muzzle pressed so firmly yet tenderly on her lips, no knowing how to react since this is the first time she had ever been kissed on the lips by a man, or anyone for that matter, feeling herself blushing intensely, her whole face turning bright green. As for Katherine and her gang, their eyes were wide open from the shock, gawking stupidly at the scene.
The unexpected kiss lasted for about a minute before Panja broke it with a soft smooch of lips between them. "Hrmmm, I'll see you later then, babe," Panja softly spoke while still hugging the kirin closely, gently caressing her chin with a thumb, and Sasuga barely replied with a thing, still a bit dazed and flushed. He then pulled away from her and mounted his bike. "Don't forget to call me! You have my number, eh?" the white lion said with a wink and soon drove off, leaving a still bewildered Sasuga.
"Uhh, sure... bye," the kirin waved dreamingly back at him as she watched him drive away on his motorcycle. As for Katherine, she was so ticked off by what she saw that she walked away irritably with a haughty grunt, with her companions mindlessly following her lead. As she turned around to see them leave in disgrace, Sasuga couldn't hold back a little giggle. Sure, Panja took her by surprise with that sudden kiss just to spite them, but he somehow managed to save the situation and silence those nasty meddlers. Moreover, though she wasn't prepared for it, she found herself liking that kiss Panja gave her. She touched her own lips with the tip of her finger and it still felt quite warm, the warmth of that hunky lion's muzzle left. Just the thought of it made her blush brightly again, but she shook it off and hurriedly went back inside the university building, lest she would be too late for her class. She just hoped she would be able to concentrate in class and not think about that wonderful kiss too much.
