This story doesn't contain anything that could be considered adult in any way, shape, or form. Why it is here is more a less a matter of places to post (with results.) Oh well, good read if you're just bored and not remotely horny. :) Fathom by Lomundi

  • * * The mind often wanders father than it can fathom, and when it hits this mark, it stops and goes back. The thought of non-existance or the knowledge of comes to my mind when I think of these thoughts, but for Hodan, it could've been love. Hodan never established a romance. Honestly, his potential was minimal at best, for his village, what was left of people after they decided not to evolve, required him to find a female partner. He didn't want a female partner though. He, of course, didn't tell anybody this and they just figured that he was bad with women. As long as he wasn't against the "good book," he was okay with them. There was, of course, many ways to prove the assumptions about the book wrong, but Hodan didn't feel he needed to justify himself in a society in which he would recieve even less love than he did now. It was a cold autumn afternoon, as winter was setting in, slowly as usual. The cold bit at is face, but it wasn't enough to deter him from the beutiful sight of the leaves before him. Every leaf had it's own individual shape and the viens through which chlorophil, their blood, used to run. Hodan always wondered that why, when a leaf was broken, it didn't not die and decompose like people did. Living in exile from the furries, he often wondered if they were the same way. Leafs would simply go on greening without the broken part of the leaf. They didn't fully decompose until they had detached from their branches and hit the ground. Hodan wondered if his people were the fallen leaves. "Thoughts on your mind, Hodan?" a familar voice came from behind Hodan. "Not really, father. Just another day." "Any sins in need of repenting for?" "Only one, father, only one." "And what may that sin be, son?" "I cannot tell, father." "So be it, find truth in god, that is all the truth I need from you." Hodan liked the priest. He was a good man, no matter what his prejustices were. He didn't fully understand everybody, but his advice seemed to fit perfectly anyways. Hodan could never stop his lusting for other men, but it did not stop him from praying. He would always pray for forgivness of his lust. He would also pray that he may become strait, normal, right, everything but what he was. He was completely content with being somebody else, anybody else, if he was only strait. But he never stopped to wonder why. Hodan heard a creak from the barn to the west of him, and he drew it to himself to investigate. He opened the door slowly, to let some light in, and he slowly made out a figure. The figure was sitting in a corner, shooting up on some kind of drug. "Great, a druggie." Hodan said to himself. "Stay back, don't come near me!" "You have to go, you don't belong here." "I'll get you damnit!" The druggie sprang for Hodan. He was a rodent, wearing nothing but some worn pants and a splotched leather belt. He was armed with a needle that had just recently occupied his arm. He stabbed Hodan, despite the injury, Hodan continued to drag the druggie out without seeming to notice. As the rest of the villagers watched, Hodan literally threw the druggie out on their reserve line (they being a this much of a minority, lived on a reservation.) The villagers cheered, as they always did when they threw a person off of their land. It was important that the people that lived there shared their values. Hodan didn't but it wasn't visible. Hodan could always put on a smile and laugh at the rest of the world. Hodan could shut out his person wants and concentrate on other people's. Hodan couldn't, however, control his body's evolution. Nobody knew, until that day, on that peticular plot of land in that peticular village, that blood from another furry could act as a transformer to humans. Hodan was starting to shake, unaware of why, he assumed he was just fatigued from the bout with the druggie. Then he started spasming and quaking to the point where he fell down and couldn't get up. His bones shifted in his body and his hair lengthend. He could feel his mouth being shaped into a muzzle. He couldn't stop it, and God knows he tried. Everybody looked astonished. Everybody looked at the boy, no longer a 5'9" human, but a 6'2" lupine furry. He opened his eyes slowly, as if he thought he had died, but to his suprize, all he saw was a startled, and disgusted looking crowd. "Throw him out!" shouted a woman from the street. "It wasn't his fault, let him stay!" said another woman back. The crowd started shouting and yelling all too loud for anyone to make anything out of it. "That's enough!" Everyone looked at the priest. "Father, this boy is one of them, he is infected!" "This boy is a good boy," said the priest back, "but he must go. It's says in the bible that he is wrong, and since he cannot right it, he must leave this village now. Pack your things, Hodan, you are now banished from this village." Hodan, out of all things, least expected this would get him banned from the village, but he followed it anyways. As he was packing his things in the room of which he had always slept, the priest came in and shut the door. "Hodan, I'm sorry I have to let you go, but I cannot risk the corruption of the people. Furriness isn't a right or wrong thing, but most people would use it for bad intentions, you must understand." "Don't worry father, I do. I believe I think a bit too much for my own good sometimes, and I've figured out what I should know." "Seems like you, Hodan. Since you're leaving, and I may never see you again, what is that one sin you are always guilty of but have never seemed to repent for?" "Father, can you not tell anyone." "This is a confession, it is private, as it has always been." "Father, I am gay. I try has hard as I can to change it, but I keep slipping and having impure thoughts about other men." "What are these impure thoughts about." "Loving them, as you would a women. Sharing a moment with them as lovers. Kissing, bonding like you shouldn't with a man." "Son, these aren't impure. I thought you meant sex." "I think about that too, though not as much." "Knowing you, probably as much as I do. We all fall victim to lustful feelings sometimes son, we musn't let them get us down. I still don't see why you're wrong, but people say you are. Let me ask you this, if you had to, would you impregnate a women?" "Yes, I believe I would." "Could you ever love that women?" "No, I don't think I ever could." "Then go find another man like you, strong in morals, and love him for as long as you can. Try not to fall when people stone you, and get back up when they do. You have a long, prosperous road ahead of you, but don't fall in love to fast, lovers can be decieving." "Tell Grace I'm sorry." "I will. I thought you didn't have the patience for love when you gave up on Grace, I knew she loved you." "I'm sorry for all I have done father." "Don't worry Hodan, I give you a final blessing so that you may find love in this world again. Don't venture back here, we do not accept your kind. On that, I am working." "I will never forget you father." "Nor will I, son, nor will I." * * *

Sorry, no yiff this time. I hope you weren't looking for any priest/alterboy action. Next one will be a continuation of this one. Go read something more yiffy now. :) I hope that this one might be at least a little better than the last one. "Gods" still stands as history though, so watch it!
