Beneath the God Who Rules the World Part 1
A new idea I'm trying out. Hopefully you enjoy. Mewus belongs to Adair Zephyr.
Beneath the God Who Rules the World
Part 1
Seattle, Washington. To everyone else it would seem that this was just another American city in the upper northwest state in the country. They’re not wrong, but unbeknownst to them, it was the literal epicenter of the world. At least when you look at from the perspective of a creator. This bustling city rested many results of mankind’s greatest achievements. Technology and food, music and social progress, and entertainment and economic prosperity have all left their mark on this supposedly bustling metropolis.
Little did anyone know that there was someone pulling their strings the whole way through.
At least that’s the thought that went through the head of Cyuss Ark, President and CEO of the NWC, or the National World Conglomerate. Cyuss Ark is an Arceus pokemorph, standing proudly on two legs at the top of his main office in his main HQ in Seattle. To him, this was the literal center of the world, and he had such power. Like an Arceus he was very godlike in power, albeit the people didn’t know about it at all, and that made it all the better for him. To everyone else he was a shrewd businessman only seen in his sharp black three-piece suit and powering 7-foot stature that little else could match. He was ridiculously wealthy, very famous (in the business world and pop culture), and had a perception of power.
It wasn’t a mere perception though, he did literally have all the power. Even the supposed President of the United States bent to his will. He was the puppeteer pulling everyone’s strings.
He looked young, and is believed to be only 35 years old. It would be more accurate to say he was actually 35,000 years old, at least according to the oldest written record. No one knows his true age or if there was ever a time he didn’t exist at all. He knew he was immortal, and never aged, though his public press appearances related to the business never brought this question up, and he made sure it stayed that way.
As the sole proprietor of NWC, he owned practically everything in the world. His company is a conglomerate that dabbles in all types of business, anything from food to delivery services, agriculture to industry, and finance to technology. His company was so big it made Google and Wal-Mart together look like a small burger stand in comparison.
He was literally untouchable in every single way, and it helped secure his place and status in the world.
As mentioned before, the public perceived him as a shrewd businessman. He was unafraid to make certain opinions known, it’s not like they could do anything about it. They’re too dependent on his company to keep everything afloat. Even if they weren’t, he would still be able to exhort his control in other ways.
The Arceus quietly pondered his thoughts in his large quiet office, sizable enough with large bookshelves on the wall to be its own library. He looked out the clear glass windows overlooking the city below while he sipped expensive wines from rare crafted glass with elegance only outmatched by himself. As a divinity, he could’ve chosen a deistic approach to his rule, allowing the public to exist without him, but he much preferred to be among his people, even if they didn’t know who he truly way deep down.
To him, being among them like this allows him to watch his subjects more closely, to see what all the different people were like. It’s also why he liked Seattle so much, the weather is gloomy, almost constantly raining. The darkness that shook the city almost year-round allows him to see beneath the shiny surface of everyone’s personality, making him completely able to read a person from a millisecond of sight.
Still, this presented a dilemma to the pokemorph. After being on the planet long enough, he grew bored of the same sights that he saw day after day, seeing the same people who always read the same to him. He knew nearly every soul working under him, and knew everything about them just from a single glance, even if they never met him in person. By knowing everything there was nothing that could surprise him, and yet there was this persistent feeling deep down that he was desperate to find something exciting.
Even during his frequent travels to every corner of the world, it was still the same thing, only under a different flag, a different culture, a different design and feel. It was still all the same to him.
Cyuss emptied his glass and set it on the side table when a call on his desk panel went off signaling a call from his secretary. His green eyes glowed, reflecting off his red pupils, pushing the button to answer the call from over 12 feet away.
“Mr. Ark,” a female voice on the other end began, “the board from the Florida HQ have arrived for the 3 o’ Clock meeting. They’re waiting in meeting room 3B now on floor 44.”
“Send them to room 5D on floor 49 instead,” He replied sternly, his voice was beyond deep, easily a pitch below double bass, “and delay the meeting start for another 15 minutes, I’m going out for a while.” There was a silent hesitation before she replied.
“Y-yes sir,” he ended the call and straightened his gold tie, held to the white shirt below with a pure silver clip. He knew his consistent shifting and moving upset and stressed his secretary, but he didn’t care. As far as he was concerned, his workers were nothing more than his tools, cogs in the machine he built to rule the world with.
Because he believed in free will, this left a lot of people who kept a secret hatred for the one at the top, especially for his not so secret opinions. For example, it was no secret that Cyuss did not like women. To him, women were inferior beings in every sense of the word. In terms of potential, he always saw that men surpassed them in every way. In purpose, he believed they’re singular worth in life was their capability to carry children and propagate the species. In terms of beauty, he was never attracted to the female form in the slightest. To him, the body of a healthy sexy female simply distracted him from the perfection that was the male form.
This led to all kind of protests and political activism from groups of social progressives that believed his ideology was toxic and harmful, and yet it was so easy to brush it off without even thinking about it. Whether it was because it was closer to his own bodily form or some other reason, it was men that held the real beauty to the pokemorph.
He stepped out the locked entrance of his office, his secretary nodding at him, the white tigress not skipping a beat on her work.
This didn’t mean he was against women in the workforce, but he was the most practical when it came to hiring certain people and species to specific positions to capitalize the most on their natural strengths. To his human resources and public relations departments, it was a complete nightmare because of exorbitant fines the conglomerate absorbed at the top as a result. The Arceus didn’t care though, as he figured paying the costs to the government would help keep tax payer flow going longer, and give the perception to the people that was being kept in check by someone.
He moved down the floors and walked through the halls, standing out from his unique type and stature, and yet still blended in well with the massive species diversity. There were so many species working together under him that no one even thought to question it. He would occasionally listen to the office gossip as he passed by certain desks and cubicles, as they were easy to spot over meetings and service calls. As he passed by human resources, he heard three girls gossiping over the water cooler.
“Did you see that new hire we just brought in today?” the first one replied, a young vixen. “He’s so cute and dreamy.”
“I did his first interview,” the second one replied, a bunny that was most likely the vixen’s friend, “he talks smoothly and is so polite.”
“Yeah, and finally the first human to be working in the Technology Development Lab.” The vixen continued. Cyuss quietly stopped, his back to them, a finger shy of touching the down button for the nearby elevator and listened in with his peerless hearing.
“Really?” The third lady asked, a more obese hippopotamus asked, “where in the labs does he work.”
“Oh, he’s their new entry-level computer programmer.” The bunny answered. “So, he works in the Computer and Application Development department.”
‘A new hire,’ Cyuss thought to himself, ‘I guess it couldn’t hurt to look, Florida can wait a while longer.’ Instead of pushing down like he intended, he instead pushed up, as the technology department was in a higher floor in the building and stepped inside.
It took him no less than a minute to step into the tech floor and find the department in question. Because of the sensitive nature of the data stored here, every room in the floor was under heavy surveillance and required a badge to be read and be cleared access. Even the bathrooms had cameras and badge swipes.
He stepped inside the busy room, cool to the touch as the heavy air conditioning circulated the room to keep all the technological resources from overheating.
He passed by several large rows of cubicles, seeming to know exactly where to go. In a corner cubicle is where he found his mark.
The human was a young male, about 22 years old in age, he sported dark brown hair and matching eyes, and was wearing black dress jeans and a polo shirt typical of other workers in the department. He was standing up filling out paperwork and reading the documentation required of all new hires while 3 IT people were setting up his complex workstation. Because of the nature of his development job, he required 4 screens and two keyboards to work with, including two mice and a drawing tablet, and space leftover for the tablet and extraneous hardware he would need for each project.
Despite the confusion there was an air of positivity coming from the human. This was to be expected for someone of his age however, he had yet to become old and jaded like the other workers.
‘He seems like a typical human male to me,’ He began in his head, ‘A fresh college graduate moved in from another state, high with prospects of moving up in the world. I think I’ve seen all there is to see here.’ The pokemorph turned and started walking, when he heard the human laugh, it wasn’t loud to disrupt the other workers, but it was enough to resonate with the pokemorph and he stopped, turning to look back at him again.
‘Then again,’ he said to himself again, ‘perhaps he might hold something deeper, let’s see. Like this town I can see through the light of this smile and see what he hides underneath.’ His red pupils gave a faint glow as he began reading into the human, but was surprised when his effort bore him no fruit.
‘What’s this?’ he thought to himself, keeping his stark composure without compromise, ‘a genuine smile. I haven’t seen anything like this before. Could it be I’m not able to read this human? How can it be?’ He tried again, he knew that as a divine being, he knew he could delve deep into the human’s past without his knowledge. And while he was able to see the human’s memories, the meaning behind those memories remained unclear to him. This was an alien sensation to him, something that has never happened before throughout his time on the planet.
‘Who is this young man?’ He thought again. He checked his watch, seeing the time was already 3:37, he was late for the Florida meeting he already pushed back. He stepped away from the spot he was standing and walked back to the meeting room in question without missing a beat.
The meeting in question was a yearly report from the Florida branch of the corporation there to discuss overall progress reports and plans for the heavy hurricane seasons that year, but it was nothing more than drivel to him. He let the speakers and other suits talk in the background, keeping silent to his own thoughts, perplexed on what he experienced earlier.
‘Strange, in all my extended life I’ve never felt this before, what does this mean? I must know more. I must know more about this, and about him.’ After another 20 minutes of listening to the pointless arguing of inept executives, Cyuss excused himself to head back to his office. On the way, he called his secretary on his smart phone.
“Yes Mr. Ark what can I do for you?”
“I’m on my way back to the office at this time. I want a detailed report of all the new hires that started this week including today.”
“ALL the new hires sir?”
“Yes, all of them. I want the files on my desk by the time I return.” He hung up without getting any acknowledgement back from her. It was a tall order, but he knew she would at least get the report for the main building on his desk in time if not the whole corporation which was all that mattered to him.
Back at his desk, after securing the door telepathically, he sat down at his chair and filtered through the files. The rush job left little to be desired in organization, but he knew it would happen due to how fast he expected it done. There were more than 300 new hires in this building alone, but since they were condensed one page each he was quick to filter through them, until he found the one he was looking for, the smiling picture of the human staring back at him confirmed it. He read the content aloud to himself.
“Name: Ryan Lewis, Species: Human, Age: 22, Height 5 ft. 9 inches, Weight: 140 lbs., No prior work experience before, Baccalaureate Degree in Computer Science and Technological Engineering with a Minor in Multimedia and Graphics Production. Graduated Suma Cum Laude Honors. Listed known hobbies: Chess, Video Games, Writing. Extracurriculars: Chess Teaching, LGBT Activism…” What was this? He told himself shaking his head.
“Drug Test returned negative, Background check returned no issues, near perfect credit report. By all accounts, he’s just a dull ordinary boy. But then, what makes him so different from everyone else? Whatever the answer is isn’t in this report.” He folded the paper in question and fitted it in his inner suit jacket pocket, tucking it away, then closed the folder and set it on the disposal pile for the secretary to deal with later. It was about time for him to head out anyway, as it was quitting time for most of his workforce. Because he offered paid breaks and lunches to his staff, no one was aching to stay past 5 PM unless there was a mandated project that required overtime.
He headed down the elevator to his private parking spot in the main parking complex, it was away from the rest of the crowd, making it easy to pull in and out of with minimal traffic. He pulled out a key from his pocket and remotely unlocked the door of a sleek and brand new black Aston Martin. He didn’t care for the look or brand of cars, but felt it was the best way to show off his wealth to the public. Plus, he preferred not to have a limousine unless it was an event where he needed to be escorted by other people.
As he started the car and the windshield wipers and was pulling out, he saw another car turn in and slammed on his breaks. No one was supposed to go out this way, so whoever it is was completely lost. His security gate was open as he didn’t bother keeping security personal passed this point in the day. He lowered his window to peek out at the car that was turning in front of him heading out onto the highway the road led too. He was surprised at what he saw. It was a beat up grey Toyota that was easily 20 years old at least. The windows weren’t tilted at all, making it quite clear who it was that was driving. Of all coincidences, it was the human from before.
“It seems I have uncanny luck today,” Cyuss told himself and decided to follow the human. Perhaps something about the human’s time off will tell more about him to the pokemorph. The human was none the wiser, as it was clear he was focused on driving safely on the hectic city highway. Despite that though, his time on the highway was short, and he pulled off three exits later heading down a less busy street, though still busy with cars heading home during the rush hour. It was already dark due to the rain clouds and setting sun on the pacific coast.
Another 15 minutes of driving saw them parking in a gated apartment structure, with Cyuss following close behind. The human parked in a designated spot and stepped out, heading into the tall apartment building. It was a far cry from his company skyscraper, but it was still about 8 stories tall, and tapered off at the very top of the building.
Cyuss parked the car and shut it off, pulling out an umbrella to keep the rain off him and help obscure his face and figure to potential onlookers. The human didn’t use an umbrella, opting to run inside quickly to avoid getting soaked.
It was a simple apartment structure, just a small service desk for the leasing office and resident facilities like the mailing room and indoor swimming pool and gym. The human in question walked past the desk without even a glance. He peaked in a small mail box and package drop off, only getting a small handful of letters and a small package the size of a disk case. The junk mail was discarded as the human happily skipped over to the elevator, waving to a passerby as he did. Not wanting to lose his trail, Cyuss followed him into the elevator keeping his face hidden, though nearly bumping into the human in the process.
“Oh, sorry there,” the young man began, “I almost shut the elevator on you.” He pushed the door to floor 8 the highest floor in the complex. “What floor you going to?”
“Same floor,” he responded quickly clearing his throat to act dismissive.
“Really?” The human said curiously, “Not much up on that floor, guess you need something there.” He turned and saw the umbrella obscuring his face, as the god had the top of the umbrella angled forward. “Also, I hear having an umbrella open in an elevator is bad luck, might want to be careful there pal.”
“Sorry,” was all the pokemorph could reply with.
“It’s alright,” he replied, “it’s probably just superstition anyway, don’t worry about it.” The elevator stopped and opened and he stepped out, have a good day sir. He hurriedly skipped down the hall, turning down the hallway and pulling out a key to unlock the door at the end. The Arceus watched him as he opened the door carefree and stepped inside, closing the door behind him and the sound of multiple locks closing.
It turned out there really wasn’t much on the floor as the human said. There were just a couple storage closets and a single studio apartment on one side of the building. The rest of the apartments were on the other floors, and were at least 1 bed 1 baths or bigger. Because Ryan was starting an entry-level job, it was probably all he could afford to live in.
Cyuss closed the umbrella and teleported it back to his car with his powers, then followed the nearby stair well onto the roof. The rainwater didn’t flinch or intimidate him at all, in fact he liked the feeling of the clean water running down on his smooth white skin and grey underbelly hidden underneath the suit. He went to the side where the apartment was and checked down the side. The whole side had clear windows across the panes, similar to the office, though with bigger divides between the panes. He stepped onto the slippery side of the partitions that held up the windows. He was a bit surprised to see that there were no privacy curtains at all, giving him a clear view into the room from two different angles.
“Guess the designers never expected anyone would be standing on this precocious part of the building.” Cyuss said to himself, studying the inside of the apartment. It was a small but cozy setup, a small kitchen with a bar was tucked in a corner, next to a couple laundry machines and the singular door leading into the bathroom. The rest was a square room that Ryan divided with the relevant furniture, by the kitchen was a single dining table, it looked well used, meaning it was probably a quaint hand-me-down from his family.
In the far corner was an entertainment area, with a small loveseat and recliner facing a tv set and furniture containing a wide variety of video game systems connected to the tv in a clever organized fashion. These were separated by a coffee table containing a new desktop computer setup, that was currently booting on and loading some favored programs of the human, connected by a typical mouse and keyboard setup, but also a headset and a nearby modem to connect to the internet with.
Closet to where the window where the pokemorph was sitting was his queen-sized bed. It was the only thing not neatly made in the apartment, as it was likely he didn’t use it much outside of sleeping, and it had a singular bedside table that held a lamp, an alarm clock, some Kleenex and a coaster to hold a drink on. Overall it was a setup that was cozy, but not unique. By the corner of the bed was a tall plant that helped keep the pokemorph mostly out of sight.
However, the human wasn’t paying attention to what’s outside at all. As far as he knows it’s just another rainy night in Seattle. He had just opened his package and set the contents on the coffee table when he pulled up his flip phone from his pocket, looking at it like he’s receiving a phone call and answering it. The Arceus tuned into his powers to allow himself to hear the contents of the phone call.
“Happy Birthday to You-”
“Mom!” Ryan interrupted, “You know I hate it when you sing happy birthday on the phone.”
“Sorry I couldn’t help myself you know I’m just happy for you and your birthday today.”
“Thanks.”
“Did you get my letter in the mail?”
“I did I’m holding it in my hand right now.” He said holding up the envelope in question.
“Great,” the female voice on the other end of the line spoke, “I put some money in there for you to go have a birthday dinner somewhere tomorrow night, my treat.”
“Thanks mom,” he replied happily.
“How was your first day on the new job?”
“It was good. It was mostly getting the first day paperwork and getting my workspace setup. It’s a lot of information but it’s looking promising. The facilities are really nice.”
“I bet, it is a huge place you went to work for, in a much bigger city than here. I just hope you’re being careful.”
“I am mom. I haven’t seen much of the city yet, but I’ve been enjoying myself so far honest. I’m making sure to be careful. Alright I need to go now, I’ll talk to you later.”
“Ok sweety, love you.”
“Love you too mom.” He shut the phone off and put it back in his pocket, then proceeded to put his dinner in the oven to cook, before hopping on his game setup, putting on his headset and turning on something on his computer.
“Hey guys are you there?” He began.
“Finally, what took you so long dude,” Another male voice came up on the line.
“I was getting home from work, plus you’re an hour ahead of me now.”
“Yeah don’t be a jerk,” another female voice said on the line, this time a younger voice closer to his age now. “Did ya get it?”
“Yeah it just arrived in the mail today,” Ryan replied smiling, holding up the package from before.
“Well what are you waiting for?” The first guy replied, “stick it in and join us, we’ve waited long enough.”
“Got it,” he replied and set it up, the package was a new video game he had just gotten. Cyuss kept watching the human as he set everything up. At this point he was getting thoroughly confused about all this.
‘He’s just an ordinary Human boy,’ He kept telling himself. ‘What is it I’m missing here in this equation?’ He watched the human sit down, the game on display on the TV and a controller in his hands.
“So where we going first?” the lady asked.
“It’s Moo Moo time!” The guy replied.
“No way,” Ryan chimed in, “we are going to Ice Ice Outpost.”
“Can’t resist the Moo moos Ryan.”
“Twice the Ice None of the Moos.” This carefree exchange of banter continue for a good 45 minutes. Ryan seemed to enjoy his life as it came, as Cyuss observed, not worrying too much about the grand scheme of things. He was at least able to figure that much out, but what he still didn’t understand is what or why he’s fixes himself that way.
“Alright guys, I gotta go now, I need to eat and finish setting a few things up in the apartment before bed.”
“Already?” the guy said, “You’re a real adult now aren’tcha.”
“Ignore him Ryan,” the lady said, “we understand, get settled in first before getting too invested.”
“Thanks guys, talk to you later.” He closed everything down and took his dinner out of the oven. As he set it on the stove to cool off he spoke aloud to himself. “I should get the shower going too and clean up.” The human smiled and opened the bathroom door, and soon the shower water could be heard going off. He came back out a second later and headed to the nearby dresser, and began to strip down his clothing. This really got Cyuss’s attention as he leaned in for a closer look.
He had a stack of night clothes in his arms, and set his day clothes in the pile, leaving him completely naked for the pokemorph to glance at unknowingly.
‘Is this why?’ Cyuss thought to himself. ‘He’s… quite beautiful.’ He couldn’t help but stare at him. It was obvious he was attracted to him, and he was aware of it too. But this is the first time he’s ever really been this captivated by a person’s figure before. It was tough to describe it fully, he had seen a lot of people with a similar figure, but for Ryan it just seemed to fit perfectly. This left the god with even more questions than answers.
He watched as the human disappeared into the bathroom and out of sight. At this point Cyuss was getting soaked, and nowhere with his answers, even when one idea seemingly comes up, it’s filled with even more questions harrowing his thoughts.
‘It would be best if I forget these thoughts for the time being and go home, the rest might help me sort out these thoughts.’ He launched himself off the edge he sat on by kicking forward, and instead of falling down, he let himself slowly glide gracefully to the ground, right where his car was. He quickly got in and took off before he was seen by anyone.
It took him a while to get to his own home. However, home might not be the best word to describe it. He drove out deep into the forest for a good hour from the city, down a path only he could see. At the end of it was a massive castle. No other domain suited someone of his kind, it was old and rustic in its design, almost reminiscent of the old European castles that remain as historical landmarks. Cyuss is the only living being outside who was aware of this castle’s existence. Anyone who happened upon it by accident never lived long to tell about it.
He was soon parked and stepped inside his home.
“Mewus!” He called out, his deep voice echoing through the castle foyer with authority. Less than 10 seconds later, another being teleported on top of the main staircase.
“Hey there Master,” the new arrival spoke, “what took ya so long, you usually never come home THIS late.”
“That is none of your concern.”
“Well whatever,” he shrugged, “you can tell me later, let’s at least get you out of those drenched clothes.”
Mewus was a Mew pokemorph. He was much smaller than the arceus morph, only coming up a couple feet in height, but contrasted the god with a darker blue fur, except his belly fur and tail tip which was white. His feet never touched the ground, using his innate psychic powers to float. He glided with grace as he helped Cyuss out of his suit. Cyuss was not shy of stripping in front of his servants, in fact, he preferred to be completely naked in his own home. His sides and chest were ordained with circular markings of gold and emerald, accenting his perfected chiseled muscles. They represented a symbol of his divinity, a fact his servants in the castle.
“Yep, still perfect,” Mewus giggled to himself.
“That’s enough Mewus,” Cyuss said, using some magic to wick most of the water off his body, “is dinner ready?”
“Yep, just finished actually,” he reported, “it’s waiting for you on the dining hall table.”
“Very good,” Cyuss said, “once they clean up they can retire for the night.”
“Yes sir.” Mewus flew away to take the suit to laundry. As he turned down one of the many corridors, he set about cleaning the pockets of the god’s suit, using his psychic powers he removed away the lint, along with his possessions, including wallet, smart phone, pen, car keys, handkerchief, check book, and…
“What’s this?” the mew asked himself as he took out the folded paper from the inside jacket pocket. He stopped and unfolded it to take a gander, despite the coat being soaked, all of the pocket contents were perfectly dry and protected, so he had no trouble reading the new hire document.
“A new hire?” he asked himself curiously as he skimmed through the information “a human, and he’s a cutie too. I wonder why Master has this?”
Meanwhile, Cyuss had stepped into the dining hall, where an ordinate dining set of jade holding his dinner set out in his seat. He was located closest to the fireplace, directly behind his seat, and he basked in the warm glow and heat of the fire as he began to eat. It was still hot, and cooked to his expectations, though he expected no less from his private servants.
Besides Mewus, all of his servants were nothing more than souls. Souls of beings long deceased, but tied to the realm of the living in homunculi resembling their figures from when they were alive. All of his servants were willing, fueled by a desire to serve their god in exchange for his salvation. This made it easier for him to focus on everything else, and not have to worry about the constant upkeep of his home.
Despite the look of the interior, it was fully updated with technology and lighting accommodating the present time, but he kept it off most of the time, letting the light of the lightning storm and the fireplace light up his hall. When he finished his meal, he waved his hand and the set disappeared, to join the rest of the dishes being cleaned in the pot wash. He then headed back to the main hall and up the stairs. He went up a could floors and followed the long hallways until he made it into the master bedroom. His most private of sanctuaries. He could hear water flowing in the master bathroom next store. As he expected, he knew the bath would be prepared for him after his dinner. He stepped inside to find Mewus doing exactly that, mixing an expensive lather and bath oils into the mix.
“It’s all ready for you Master,” the mew trotted as he shut the water off, and floating aside to let his Master into the fresh mix.
“Thank you Mewus,” he commented as he carefully stepped in to the large ornate bath. “Do you have any details to report.”
“Everything went normally Master,” the mew pokemorph chimed, “although Sirius has decided to depart to the afterlife proper, choosing to be with the rest of his family.”
“I see,” Cyuss nodded as he laid back in the bath, letting the water soothe his body, “very well then, he performed admirable service for over 2,000 years. Is that everything?”
“Well yes,” Mewus began, “though I am curious about this piece of paper I found in your pocket.” Cyuss turned to find the new hire sheet he had kept with him.
“He’s nobody,” Cyuss replied coldly.
“Really?” Mewus giggled and teased, “He’s pretty darn cute for a nobody.”
“Set it back Mewus,” Cyuss commanded.
“Relax, I’m only teasing,” the mew pokemorph commented, “I’ll put it back with the rest of your things, I’m just curious why you have this with you. After all, you have millions and millions of people who work under you and your various organizations. This is the first time I’m seeing something like this before.”
“It’s… complicated.”
“I have nothing else to do tonight,” Mewus noted, “and when you saved me so long ago you made me immortal so that I could carry out my vow of servitude to you as your right-hand Mew. So, I have all the time in the world for you.” The god sighed, knowing his chosen servant had an insatiable curiosity, it was in his nature after all.
“Just promise me you’ll keep it to yourself.”
“Of course Master, why would I do anything different?”
“Very well,” he nodded, “his name is Ryan. He’s a new computer programmer and multimedia developer for the tech department. I ran across him earlier today and found him, quite peculiar.”
“He’s unique?”
“I don’t think so,” he continued, “he has the making of any ordinary boy his age. He spends his days playing and thinking about video games, he has ordinary hobbies, and he’s ambitious, yet seeks nothing out of the ordinary. And yet, there is something about him that I can’t read.”
“Wow,” Mewus replied, he was laying on his side mid-air as he listened. “an omnipotent god can’t read a human boy.”
“I have spent all day trying to figure out why this is the case, but it has borne no fruit.”
“He looks cute, maybe you have a crush on him?”
“W-what would bring such an idea to your head?” Cyuss replied, giving the floating mew a stern look.
“I don’t know, but you’re certainly defensive about it,” he noted, “also you’re blushing.”
“I am n-” he cut himself off when he realized his face felt warm from blushing a bit.
“It’s ok master,” mewus chimed, “It’s normal to feel that way, even for a god such as yourself. Did you see him naked?”
“That’s…”
“I’ll take it as a yes. You do know that I’m psychic too, I’m not omniscient like yours truly but I can read you well enough.”
“However…”
“Plus I don’t need psychic powers to read that.” He pointed with his paw at Cyuss crotch, which was sporting a full erection peeking out of the water. Like the rest of Cyuss, his cock was huge, resting upward perfectly at 13 inches, and a nice thick girth. Cyuss sat up and tried to hide it, but it was too late.
“I have feelings for him?” he asked, “I don’t even know him on a personal level.”
“Maybe you should get to know him.” Mewus smiled and wagged his tail.
“Would he even want to though?” Cyuss said, “you know I’ve pursued anything like this before.”
“I’m no expert,” Mewus began, “but I do know a thing or two about relationships. I would be more than happy to assist my master.”
“You would?”
“Anything to make Master Happy,” he bounced in the air happily. “But for now, finish your bath while I prepare your bed.” He floated out of the bathroom, letting the deity have his privacy. Cyuss looked back down at his cock, the erection still standing proud, as he laid back a bit.
“That boy does look attractive,” he spoke to himself, “but that can’t be all, can it?” He reached down and took his cock in his grip. He leaned his head back and closed his eyes, as he began slowly stroking his member. As he did, he had thoughts about the human going through his head. The more deeply he recalled the details, the more pleasure he brought through his own body.
He continued to stroke, continuously getting faster and more eager, as more impure thoughts went through his head, as he imagined doing other acts with said human, having the human underneath him. He gave a grunt as the thoughts came to fruition, milking his cock of his seed, the climax mixing in with the rest of the water, at a fairly high amount as well. He looked down at his result as he let go of his cock, letting the erection soften back up.
“Perhaps he can help me after all,” he said. Perhaps Mewus would help him figure out what he couldn’t. After all, even an omniscient god could only perceives things one way. He finished cleaning up before stepping out of the bath and letting it drain. He used magic to dry off before heading into the room. Mewus had set down some tea on the table beside the bed, a freshly pressed robe hanging by the bedside, on the pole by one of the bed curtains as well.
“Have a good bath master?” Mewus asked.
“I did, thank you,” Cyuss replied, slipping into bed, another nearby fireplace lighting the room enough so he could start reading a book, one of the things he liked to do in his home, as it was a very quiet, contrasting the big city. He took a sip of tea when offered, and Mewus took a cup for himself as well. “So, you think you can help me figure out the human?”
“Sure, though you can call the cutie by name though. It’s a little more personable that way.”
“Very well, you can help me figure out Ryan?”
“I would love to Master,” he smiled, “besides, I like playing matchmaker. This should be fun. For now though, you should get some rest. Even you need sleep after all.”
“Don’t worry, I shall,” the Arceus pokemorph nodded. “Very well, you may retire for the night.”
“Thanks master, sleep well.” Mewus got up and floated away happily with a giggle. Cyuss put his book down when the mew left and looked out the window, the rain had died down a little, along with the storm, but it was still raining down, streaks of water coating down the window and sill. He could see a mystery in front of him, and it brought him a new fascination to fix on. He set the book aside and cast the flame out with magic, leaving the room dark, before he laid down on the bed to sleep, now excited for the next day’s prospects.
