Land of the Blade. Teaser/ very rough draft
#1 of Land of the Blades.
A simple teaser i wrote for fun, if you like it then stick around for more~
"We have been walking for hours, how much further?" Ein asks as they make there way through the dense forest about 2 days out of town. "we are not very far off now, so don't go giving up on me now Ein." Eins mentor Siln says with a calm tone. "It is getting dark so maybe we should set up camp for tonight. As long as we make it to Fiethfer by tomorrow we should be on time." The forest was quiet and time on this particular night, the full moon rising from behind the trees and the sun almost gone, it was almost like a scene straight out of a fairy tale.
After a short amount of time setting up two tents and a fire-pit built Ein stretches out with a calm yawn. "Ein, you arnt getting lazy on me are you? It isn't time to rest just yet" Siln nicely scolds. "We have another hour before it's time to turn in for the night, so I was thinking we could spar for a bit, I haven't tested you in over a month. Lets see how far you have come." Siln grips his sword, three foot blade with a one foot hilt, there is a carving on the blade, it was in the ancient tongue, Slin was among the few who knew what it said. Ein nods as he grabs his sword off the ground and unsheathes it. His blade was a four and a half foot blade with a two and a half foot hilt, plain as could be, carvings being only for warriors whom have passed the trials of there mentor. "Sure, it will be nice to test a few things on a real target instead of those simple dummies." Ein says, a bit excited as always to test himself in combat.
