First off I don't own any chars in Digimon series or any name that involved in this chapter, however I do own a char by the named Al/Albino/Alphonse. I apologize first hand if I had grammars and spelling errors because it's my second. Once again this chapter is full of actions that drained my brain out. For the involved name that has any similarities in reality is purely coincidence. Anything else, please enjoy.

Chapter 26: Arena Patrol - Part 2

"Thank you for the wait, ladies and gentlemen. We will begin the battle in a moment." The announcer howled.

Al was quite surprise to see the two scarred chars he met has higher evolutions than the team or maybe yet higher status. "We are so not gonna win this." Al commented since he and ShadowWolf just knew about status upgrade and haven't try it out yet.

"What, don't you trust your team?" Angewomon asked with a smile.

"I trust you, but I didn't trust myself." Al answered. "This happened to me once remember. I was a total noob while you and Beelzebmon protect me."

"Now, you can fight along with me." Angewomon gave him some confident.

"Yeah but, can I?" Al asked still in doubt.

"Have faith in yourself, we can always fight together." ShadowWolf cheered him.

"Yeah, you're right. Let's do this." Al smiled having his confident back.

At the same time, the green eyes MetalGrowlmon asked in soar male voice red eyes Seadramon. "So, what do you think about them?"

The Seadramon replied in a male voice. "Simple, we'll do the first strike by using your jet pack and focused the attacks against that Angewomon. I will cover your back while you rampage her with attack cards."

"Why did you tell me to focus my attack on her, Zero?" MetalGrowlmon asked.

"I have a gutsy feeling that she is stronger than those two chumps, GreenGuilmonX." The Seadramon replied while looking at the opponent. "So are the cards ready?"

"All 25 cards are ready to swipe." GreenGuilmonX smirked.

"Mine are set as well." Zero confirmed with a smirk as well.

"And BEGIN!" The announcer yelled starting the match.

"Let's Roll!" Al roared beginning to charge forward with ShadowWolf while Angewomon readied her Celestial Arrow.

"Humph, try not to make us bored!" Zero roared slithered forward followed with GreenGuilmonX right behind him.

Angewomon began to stretch her arm like any archer do and GreenGuilmonX saw it. "Not a chance!" GreenGuilmonX stated and turn on his jet pack. The jet has given him the boost he needs to increase his speed. Zero heard it and coiled himself to jump and landed on GreenGuilmonX's body armor.

Al and ShadowWolf were surprise by their sudden boost which gave them no time to react and got tackled. Angewomon is almost ready with her arrow but the Ultima gave her no time as Zero coiled his body again and ready to lunge toward her. "Card Slash! Digi-modified: Lightning Javelin!" Zero yelled and his body starts to electrified and lunged forward like a thrown javelin.

With MetalGrowlmon's armor as the jumping pad and the booster jet pack gave Angewomon a sudden gasp. She canceled her skill and reaches for the feather on her helmet to produce the feuret. She intended to block the flying javelin, but she isn't ready. So by the time it clash, her feuret were thrown off from her hand.

Zero got her attention with a clenching grunt from her. She gasped again after realizing the sound of jets coming from her back. She wanted to dodge but GreenGuilmonX is ready to slash her. She dashed forward to tackled him in order to cancel his attack which he did, but at the cost of her body to be pushed to the wall.

Al and ShadowWolf saw it and gasp. Both of them spontaneously leap forward to save Angewomon. "Angewomon!" yelled both of them simultaneously. Zero saw them coming and began using his skills.

Al heard a wave coming from somewhere while running to Angewomon. He looked around while running and saw a tidal wave from their left. 'A tidal wave, how?' Al saw the red eyes Seadramon surfing above the wave. "Aw... crud." Then he realized ShadowWolf is with him. "SHADOW!" ShadowWolf looked at Al then looked at the tidal wave.

Both of them intend to avoid the wave but it was too late because the wave was too close. Zero howled while surfing the wave. "Double Wave!" is the name of the skill. Al and ShadowWolf got hit by the wave and pushed backward.

Angewomon saw it and begin to struggle to escape. She grabbed both MetalGrowlmon's claw and pulled herself up. She kicked with her might directly at the metallic maw of his face. "Heel of Justice!" she yelled and make GreenGuilmonX loses his balance. Angewomon jumped out and GreenGuilmonX got smashed at his right side.

Zero heard the crash and saw Angewomon is still in midair dashing toward him. He jumped somersault and cast three or four ice pikes called "Ice Blast!" and shoot at her.

Angewomon dodge three pikes but got scratch at the fourth. She keeps on dashing toward Zero and unleashed her skill at Zero. "Divine Kick!" was the name of the attack and Zero dodged it which is what she wanted him in the first time. Angewomon landed and dashed again toward Al and ShadowWolf. She turned and quickly cast some skills "Digi-modified: Light Blessing!" A barrier of light lowered itself separating them and the opponent.

Zero slithered toward GreenGuilmonX to see his conditions. GreenGuilmonX waved his right arm telling that he is okay and looked back at the opponent. While at the same time, Angewomon moved toward Al and ShadowWolf. "Are you guys okay?" She asked in concern.

Al and ShadowWolf groaned in pain and struggled to stand up. "We are okay, except getting cleaned up by the wave." ShadowWolf replied with a small joke.

"Okay my foot; you were drained more than half of your life because of that attack. Hang on, I'll heal you." Angewomon stood and clasped both her hand into praying position and cast "Heaven's Charm!" to heal her team.

Both Al and ShadowWolf got relaxed then started to stand up. "Thanks, we need that." Al thanked her. "So, any idea on how to defeat them? They had anticipated the first strike."

"That Lightning Javelin is not from his form. My guess that he used a card." Angewomon answered. "So, we are going to use the cards."

"What cards?" ShadowWolf asked.

"It's a trading card game called Digimon card that some kids played during lunch break." Al answered.

"That card, wait did you had those card?" ShadowWolf asked which gave Al a quick nodded. "How come he got it while I didn't?"

"Did you give some of the cards to him?" Angewomon asked.

"I didn't because I have no idea that they are going to use it." Al answered.

"You owe me big time, Al." ShadowWolf growled at him.

"Alright, don't be so grouchy when I messed up. However there is one problem, I don't bring it with me."

"Then we have to use pure skills and some improvisation." Angewomon replied. "Ready?" Al and ShadowWolf gave a roar. "Heaven's Charge!" She formed a cross from her body and a light of cross appeared in front of her and launched. ShadowWolf used his speed to follow up behind the charge.

GreenGuilmonX moved forward and starts shouting some skill. "Card Slash! Digi-Modified: Gallant Shield!" A large shield appeared on his right arm and prepared for the impact.

The Heaven's Charge got impacted with the shield and dispersed. GreenGuilmonX lowered his shield only to be surprised by a giant gray wheel rolling toward him.

Zero saw it and used his aquatic power to shield GreenGuilmonX by unleashing "Water Coat!"

While Zero was focusing on protecting his partner, Al saw that chance and unleashed Nova Blast to Zero. Angewomon also take her chance by preparing her Celestial Arrow and aimed at GreenGuilmonX.

Zero felt an intense heat near him and when he looked for the source, he got a direct hit losing his concentration.

The aquatic barrier was disappeared and GreenGuilmonX is ready with his shield. The rolling attack got deflected. Angewomon is ready with her arrow and waited for the opening. She saw it and released her arrow.

GreenGrowlmonX saw it and re-shield himself. The arrow hit the shield very hard and got planted on it. 'She's way too concentrated.' He commented and discarded the shield. He unleashed a beam attack called "Atomic Blaster!" to Angewomon. The beam has broken the barrier and headed straight forward to Angewomon.

Al saw the beam and jump right in front of her to protect her. He got a direct hit which knocked him out. Angewomon gasped in shock by Al's action. "Why did you do that?" She asked.

"You are the only real Digimon inside this arena. I don't want you to get killed." Al replied in whisper.

ShadowWolf saw it and began to attack in rampages using his claw on the paw to scratches and unleashing fiery "Howling Blaster!" to Seadramon and MetalGrowlmon. But the attacks were useless because the damages are too little for the opponent.

Zero unleashed "Double Wave!" to ShadowWolf and pushed him to the fallen team. ShadowWolf, Al, and Angewomon got hit by the wave. ShadowWolf is knocked out by the wave and Angewomon is soaked wet.

Angewomon is in complete shocked that both of her teammates were down. She intended to stand up and starts to attack but Al yelled. "No, you have to forfeit the match."

"What do you mean?" Angewomon yelled.

"This match isn't worth it. You have to forfeit it." Al whispered.

"But they have hurt you and I don't intend to let them get away with it." Angewomon is getting angrier and looked at the opponent.

"What is the Destinies goal?"

"To protect the Digimon from any harm and danger," she replied.

"Are you a Digimon?" Al asked which gave him a silent answer from Angewomon. "Even though you are one of the Destinies, you are still a Digimon and Jake and I have to protect you no matter what the cost."

"Humph... nice speech you got there." ShadowWolf commented.

Angewomon looked at her surroundings because she received a whisper from Kari. Angewomon finally comply Al's plead and raised her hand and called. "We give up." And the bell rang telling them the match is over. Those who watched the match cheered them.

Zero opened a whisper chat to Angewomon. "Why did forfeit the match?"

"A wise word has been said to me. 'When enough, it's enough.' My team have done their best and I used up all my stamina. It's over and you have all the glory in this match." Angewomon answered and lifted Al who has been revived automatically after the match. ShadowWolf intend to stand up as well, but feeling a little bit exhausted. Angewomon walk toward to ShadowWolf after Al is able to stand on his own.

The three of them smiled at each other and slowly walked out of the arena, while Zero and GreenGuilmonX roared in victorious. Suddenly out of nowhere, Al felt a huge tension. He felt something bad is about to happened. Al warned them. "Guys, I have a bad feeling about this. Kari, ready the Light Blessing again. Angewomon, heal us quickly." Angewomon nodded and cast Heaven's Charm on all of them and Kari ready the card.

The tension is getting stronger and stronger for something bad is about to happen real soon. He looked at his surrounding and saw nothing so far. 'Odd, I don't see it but yet it feels so close. Where the hell is it?' His instinct told him to look up though he didn't want to, but he looked up slowly. There, he saw where the source of his tension coming from. The Glitches is ready to infect the arena again. "Oh no... Angewomon cast the Blessing now!" Al yelled. And by that yell as a signal, the Glitches explode covering the whole arena into statics. The Glitches do little effect on other arena because the infections were concentrated on one field and it's where they are.

Zero felt something weird in his PC. He felt as if a new energy is surging into him. GreenGuilmonX saw it and felt uneasy. "Zero, are you alright?"

"I don't know, GreenGuilmonX. I felt a new power just entered this body. I feel that I can do more with this. Is this the price for winning the match? I want more of this." Zero answered with lust.

"Zero, you are scaring me."

"What... don't you feel the energy flowing into you?" Zero asked and he shook. "Well whatever this is, I want more... more... more." Suddenly his body grew bigger and surges of data were covering him. GreenGuilmonX took some steps back for his fear haunted him. The data has gone and there stood an enormous Digimon. The body of that Digimon is covered with futuristic armor. The head of the Digimon is huge complete with propeller and a beam cannon in its mouth. To make matters worse, the Digimon is design to fly unlike the champion form and it looks hungry. It is hungry for power.

The new Digimon looked at GreenGuilmonX in pure hunger, then to the whole arena and start trampling the field. ShadowWolf and Al were stunned to see that enormous Digimon but Angewomon was terrified by that form. "What the heck is that?" Al asked.

"That's... That's GigaSeadramon, a mega level Digimon!" Angewomon yelled in fear which gave Al and ShadowWolf also tremble in fear.
