The Star
My poem about stars. So distant yet so close, bringing heat to the cold, and light to the dark. Please leave a comment on your thoughts about my poems or other works. Thank you for you're patience.
In the Night I see your light,
Shining, and forever bright,
Jewels are precious,
But your twinkle, fleshless,
And unbound, Beyond my reach my touch my sound, You burn in cold and shine in darkness, Your cherished sight and endless harshness, Orbited by your fallowers, Attracting even outsiders,
Comets cold,
Asteroids bold, Any that may come near, Must pass your molten sphere, In the night, I see your light, Shining, and forever bright,
Stationary, yet never still, My mind's wonder you forever fill,
I'll never see you presently,
But you're always there, so pleasantly
