First of all I want to say that all my stories are dedicated to one of my best friends Charlie, to EvaDrin, to Dukie Mutt and his friend Ran. Why? That's because they inspired me to write by my own. I hope they all can read this and I hope they like it. I'm not a good writer but I'll make my best effort to be one. Well I don't want that all of you fall sleep before starting to read, enjoy!

"Byrak! Byrak! Wake up! You are late for school"

"What?!" I jumped out from my bed and rushed to the bathroom holding my school's uniform in my right paw and my shoes in the left.

I took a quieck shower of no more than five minutes. When I was done I looked my naked body in the mirror. My reflected self was a 13 year old wolf covered in dark-grey fur with a pair of dark-brown eyes and a big furry tail.

"Looks like I'm ready to go" I finally said when I managed to put on my uniform: a white shirt and a pair of brown pants. The worst uniform in the world in my opinion.

"Byrak! 6:30!" My mom yelled again.

"Rats! I gotta hurry!" I had no time for breakfast so I ran outside."I'm leaving, mom!. I'll stay in Layo's house tonight!" As soon as got outside the house I started to sprint towards the groceries stand. It was supposed that Layo's mom was going to pick me up there and bring me to school like every morning.

Layo was my first, only and best friend since three years ago. He was a fox with the same age as I with golden fur, amber-like eyes and a big furry tail. His mother was a big cat of white fur, scary green eyes and fat enough to make you hate all female cats forever.

When finally reached my destination a white truck came in nearby. I got up in the back seats. "Good morning, Byrak" greeted Layo's mother from the driver seat. "Good morning, madam" I said "Oh hey there Layo" "Hi Byrak" he said giving me a little smile "So, do you have permission to stay at my house tonight?" "Of course" I grinned at him "I wouldn't waste such a big opportunity to stay at my best friend's house" "We'll have so much fun, Byrak, I promise" "What's what I wanted to hear from you, Layo" I finally said when we stopped at the school's door.

We gave the goodbye to the big scary cat and got down the car. Suddenly the school's bell rang indicating the start of our first class. "Sorry, big bro, but I gotta go" said Layo "Better hurry up then!" I warned him "See you after school" "Count on it ,brother" I finally said when Layo was already running trough the corridor with his tail moving sideways.

Layo and I, we weren't family in any means, but for us it was. Since two years ago we used to call ourselves 'brothers' I loved him...He was the most important thing from my life. He was my reason to live. And without him I was nothing.

It was Thursday so we had the very long algebra lesson in our class. Our teacher was a fat purple hippo with a very slow, boring voice. I had any problem with algebra but I had so many questions about it like: "How the algebra can help someone in his/her life? Can the algebra make money appear magically?" And the most recent: "Can I get a job with the algebra?"

After so much time dealing with angles, shapes, letters and numbers the teacher said: "Class dismissed. You can go home now" It was a relief to end classes with all your psychological condition intact. I was free. So I ran to finally meet Layo. I was ready to part off to his house.

When I reached the exit the white truck was already waiting for me. I got up in the same place like in the morning, beside my friend. "How's your day going" he asked I was about to say "fine" but I started to feel dizzy. Everything began to slowly fade away, my vision, the sounds, everything...as I collapsed into darkness...
