I was riding on Roxanne, we flew so high I could see town from up here, since it's nighttime I could see the lights, it looks beautiful from up here.

I held on to her mane real tight, no way I'm taking a chance of letting go.

Roxanne flapped her wings some more, then she hollered, "How are you doing back there?"

I hollered at her back, "Fine! Doing fine!"

She hollered again, "You having fun?"

As a matter of fact, I never had this much fun since I was little, this was amazing! I hollered again, "Yeah this is great!"

Over the very loud sound of the wind I could hear Roxanne laughing happily and she said, "You better have fun! Flying is the most funnest thing anyone could ever do!" She flapped again, going further up the air.

I looked down over the side and my eyes went wide, we really are high up, like we were on top of the empire state building. Ah! Don't look down, don't look down!

I stared up ahead, and I could see a commercial airliner coming towards us. I hollered to Roxanne, "Hey Roxanne I think you should get out of the way please!" But Roxanne didn't move in another direction, she still kept flying toward the plane.

Roxanne said, "No way! I'm going to play warrior with a airplane!"

I had a feeling what she was talking about, she's going to play chicken with a airplane! "Roxanne that's a bad idea!"

I could hear Roxanne giggling. The plane was getting closer to us. I hollered again, "Roxanne!"

The plane was not far away now, I tried again, "Roxanne!"

The plane's so close now, I tried once more, "ROXANNE!"

Then Roxanne flew us over the airplane when we got so close to it, it almost hit us! I could have sworn I heard her hooves touching the top of the plane until the plane flew past us. I wonder if the flight captain saw us. They would probably think they should lay off the coffee.

I was gasping for air, still frightened about what happened. I said to myself, "Holy shit."

We kept on flying for a while.

We flew over the woods not far from home, and Roxanne found a spot for her to land. She landed on the ground with her back legs first then her front and trotted to a stop. After we landed I got off of Roxanne and tried to get the feeling in my legs back.

Then after I regained composure, I slapped Roxanne's butt hard, "You big horse's ass! You almost killed me!"

Roxanne laughed hard, "Hey at least you had fun up in the air."

"Honestly I was, until you played chicken with a plane."

She shook her head, "No not chicken, I was playing warrior."

I shrugged, "What the hell is warrior?"

Roxanne smiled and said, "My favorite game I have made up. It's fun if you gave it a try."

I stared at her and we both laughed, I rubbed horse nose and said, "Aw I could never stay mad at you, I really did have a lot of fun tonight. In fact I never even flown in my life!"

She smiled at me and said, "Glad you loved it. Trust me I feel lucky that I have wings after all."

I giggled, "Yep you are."

We both stared at each other for a bit then I started yawning, "Well all that excitement is making me tired. Come on lets go home." We both walked in the woods back to home, after a few minutes we made it and we stopped in front of the barn.

Roxanne said, "Frank, good night."

I nodded and wrapped my arms around her neck to hug her, "Good night mom." I let go of her and turned around before Roxanne stopped me.

"Frank I know you like calling me mom, but you should know I'm not your real mother. Remember what I told you, one day before your mom dies, you have to forgive her while you have the chance."

I thought about it and then I said to her, "I'll try, goodnight." Then I went to my house to go to bed.

Miley came over to my house this morning and soon after that me and her went walking around the lake.

Miley said, "You know Roxanne seems nice, I can tell by looking at her. Also she's pretty beautiful."

I laughed, "Well is it hard to believe? I mean after all she does know dad." I decided to play along on Roxanne's lie about how she me father at the university. Although I wish I could tell Miley the truth, but I can't because that'll get Roxanne in trouble. If she wasn't in trouble already.

Miley said, "Yeah she is. But dad never really mentioned her before. I wonder how she really met him?"

I shrugged as we walked, "I don't know she hasn't mentioned it yet."

Miley had a weird look on her face and I asked, "You okay?"

She nodded and said, "I was just thinking. You know about the other day."

We stopped and I stared at her with a quizzical look, "About what?"

She said, "About what I said to you, you know about you think that there's a Pegasus out there, watching you and you think that it saved your life from that maniac. About me calling you crazy and saying that you need help. It wasn't really nice to say that. I didn't mean to call you crazy honestly."

I shook my head, "Well I haven't heard anything about the Pegasus since that night." It was another lie but what can I do?

"I mean what can I say? I'll admit it was crazy saying that and I'm over it now."

Miley gave a suspicious look, "Frank, is everything alright?"

I nodded.

Then she said, "Because it looks like you're hiding something, look it's okay, at least tell me."

I really did have this urge but still I couldn't, I put up a smile and said, "No there's nothing for me to hide. Everything's fine."

Miley stared at me for a few more seconds and then she put on a smile as well, "Well alright, I won't grill you anymore."

I grinned at her, "Good."

Then Miley walked back to the house, "Well I need to get going, I need to meet up with my boyfriend at the diner today. After all today's my day off from school."

I asked a curious question, "Now that you mentioned him again, who is it? Do I know him?"

She giggled and said, "None of your damn business that's his name. Besides mom doesn't know I'm with someone since she is so overprotective, and I won't have it."

I giggled at her, "You do know she'll find out sooner or later."

She glared at me, "Not unless you tell her you tattletale!"

I raised my hands as if I'm surrendering, "I won't tell anyone, besides that it's none of my business anyway."

She smiled at me and said, "Good it better not be. Anyways I love you." She waved and left to go to her car.

I waved at her and said, "I love you too!"

Heh...Boyfriend. I hope she knows what she's getting herself into.

Miley waited for her boyfriend at the diner for a long time, in fact she waited for a LONG time. She checked her cell phone but no one called her. She turned off her phone and sighed. Miley thought, that asshole. That's the last time I'm waiting for him, I'm breaking up with him.

She was thinking about leaving when some stranger came and sat in front of her at the booth. The stranger said, "Hi."

Miley looked at him and said, "Uh, hi. Do I know you?"

The stranger shook his head, "No, I'm new here."

Miley looked at him and said, "Oh, can I help you with something?"

The stranger shook his head again, "Nope actually I was hoping I could help you. You pretty sad about something. You wanna talk to me about it?"

Miley shook her head and said, "Not really. Lets just say I was waiting for my boyfriend and he hasn't shown up. In fact it's not the first time. I'm breaking up with him because I'm getting freakin tired of this."

The stranger giggled and said, "Sounds like you need to pick a better person, he sounds like a slacker."

Miley raised her hands, "I know right? I don't even know what I even see in him."

The stranger smiled at Miley and said, "Well love is a complicated thing."

Miley smiled back at him, she thought, I know I don't know him but he has a nice smile. Miley introduced herself, "Well since you're new here I guess I can introduce myself, I'm Miley."

The stranger introduced himself, "Larry."

Miley then asked, "So where are you from?"

Larry said, "I'm from Greece actually. Pretty far away from here."

Miley smiled and said, "You have a good American accent."

Larry said, "Why thank you."

Then Miley got out of the booth and said, "Hey listen I love to sit around and talk, but I need to get back home. If you're staying here in this town can I talk later?"

Larry smiled and said, "Sure no problem."

Miley smiled at him and said, "Well nice talking to you later." Then she left the diner.

Larry was walking in the woods, away from that town. He was in the middle of the woods when he had this feeling that he was being watched. He turned and saw a big creature standing behind him looking at him. A minotaur.

Then Larry started to change into his normal self. He changed into a different person, he changed into Loki.

Loki said to the minotaur, "So how's it going in the woods big guy?"

The minotaur snorted and grunted talking to him in his own language.

Loki nodded, "Yeah it does tend to get lonely out here doesn't? No other minotaurs to talk to."

The minotaur talked again.

Loki said, "Yeah I think I have a plan coming up in my brain. In fact it probably won't be long before we put it into action."

The minotaur talked.

Loki smiled and said, "Yes I know that the White and Black Pegasus are looking for us. And yes I know that one of them is with a mortal named Frank O'Donnell. In fact that's actually what my plan is."

The minotaur tilted its head.

Loki giggled and said, "You see here's my plan, I use Frank to get under that Pegasus skin so bad, she would do anything to keep him safe, I know she cares about him so much, and once I get her to work with me, I'll have her take me to Mt. Olympus and then we'll destroy the gods and rule this mortal world together."

The minotaur nodded his head, and grunted.

Loki nodded and said, "Yeah I think Frank's little sister Miley knows about the Pegasus as well. In fact that's why I was trying to get close to her, so I could use her as bait for Frank. This plan is perfect!"

The minotaur raised its arms and cheered.

Loki gave an evil smile and said, "Once everything goes according to plan, no one, not even Zeus would be able to stop me. I would be the powerful one. Me the trickster, Loki!" Then he started to laugh maniacally.
