Hiding....... Chapter 1
This is my second story so bare with me and hope you like it.

Leo woke up with a start, the faint sound of the alarm ringing in his ears. he pressed his head into his pillow. The ringing came louder as the lion woke up, with a loud click the lions paw managed to click off the alarm. He slowly got up, ruffling the fur on the back of his neck. "God I hate school......."
Leo was and average 5'10, 19 year old lion. He had well toned muscles from the past 3 years of doing track. The lion took after his father in build and love for athletics. Leo started to slowly stretch his arms and legs, uttering a low roar as he did. He then quickly pulled on a shirt, sighing as he glanced at his bedside clock. It read 7:43am.
"Shit!!" he quickly pulled on a pair of tattered jeans, rushing out of his room and down the stairs, He grabbed his bookbag as he rushed out the door, "crap im going to late for school!". Pulling his keys from his bag he got into the car. throwing his book bag into the passenger seat, he started the car and backed out of the driveway. Flooring the small car he sped down the road, trying to get to school on time. It was Leo's first day of college and he was determined to not be late. He sighs and takes a deep breath,"well here we go again....". After a bit of fast driving he pulle dinto a parking spot at the university. He looked down at his cars digital clock and it read 7:57am. He smiled weakly. "Made it, now just need to get to the auditorium". He grabed his bookbag, turning off the car, and gets out. Leo locked the car and looked around. a few other freshman were walking toward the auditorium. He decided to follow them, fixing his mane so that it his part of his face. As he walked two female snow leopards winked at him, checking him out. The shy lion immediately bent his head down and looked at the ground, nor wanting to draw attention. Leo was gay but he told no one. Even his parents didnt not. He was looking forward to finding a mate in college ,but he was afraid of not finding one, then being bullied and teased cause he was gay. So he decided, to again, tell no one the thruth.
They all headed to the Auditorium, Leo took his seat among his fellow freshman. Keeping to the far back of the room, keeping quiet and looking around. There was much conversation among the other students. Then a voice over the loud speacker got everyone's attention.
"Quiet Please!" Everyone immediatly quieted down. A tall black female panther had appeared at the podium on the stage. She smiled, her tail swaying back and forth "Hello and welcome to the University of Solan!'
