Journey of the Wind
I fly across the valleys
over oceans, over seas
whistling through the dead lands
under bridges, through the trees
Following the roadways
skimming water, trailing fires
wandering the heartlands
going where my heart desires
I flow across eternity
a bewinged, beribboned band
a wind-born elemental
flying all across the land
my wings they touch the heavens
my arching neck doth touch the earth
my claws will shape the mountains
my body's bones to life give birth
I am bird, most full of wonder
Be I phoenix, or just dove
my wings will carry messages
of patience, of my love
Ask me not for your salvation
nor for forgivness of your sins
for I am only a lost angel
who flies upon the winds.
