The Zootopian Experiment Chapter 6

(J*udy Hopps)*

** While Nick was changing, I was just sitting and just looking at some of Nick's old photos. When Nick got out of the room, he saw me looking at a couple of his photo, of him, Finnick, and a grey predator . He answered, " that's me, Finnick, and Bradon an old friend of mine. Come on Carrots, we don't want to be late." As Nick got up, walking up the door. He said, "Come on slow poke, gees rabbits are dumb and slow." As I answered, "come on, you do love me." As he answered, "we still have somewhere to go." As we entered the car, and started towards Nick's mother's house.. The ride seemed quite a while, then Nick asked breaking the silence with his sly self, "why so quiet, she doesn't eat rabbit if that's what you're worried about." I answered, "I know, I know, just thinking of our case." Nick answered " the doctor gave us a day off. Besides she would call us if she needs to."**

A little bit after, Nick calmed my nerves, we finally stopped in a strange and poor part of town. Nick said, " brings back old memories, unfortunately, not all those memories are happy. Let's go, before I get emotional, and animals start thinking I'm a rabbit." I answered, "ha ha, no one would ever think you're a rabbit, and I agree, I am starting to get hungry." We walked up the sidewalk, stopping at a town house, house number 138. When Nick knocked on the door, there an older lady foxed answered, I believe to be Nick's mom. She said, "my baby come in come in." Then she saw me and added, "is this your friend you told me was coming with you? When I received that message I thought you was going to bring Finnick." As we walked in, Nick's mother showed us around, she was differently on a budget, yet so proud and happy. When we were done with the tour, a knocked came from the front door.

Their Nick's mother said "excuse me, I should get that." When she was getting the door, I looked at Nick, their Nick said, "my mom's planning something, just wish I know what it is." Just then Nick's mother, opened the door. Standing There at the door, was bradon the gray predator that was in the picture I saw earlier. Then Brandon spoke, "Mrs, Wilde, good to see you." Their Nick's mother spoke in a teasing way, "Brandon Grayton, you know my rules on what to call me." Their Brandon said, "I know, I know, it's either Mary or Mom, just I haven't seen you in a long time." Their she said, "come on in, heck when you were a child, you stayed here more than your own home."

*When they both came in, Mary said, "son, why are you not wearing your uniform?" Nick looking confused answered, "how did you know, I was a cop?" Their Bradon answered, "I told her, when I was transferring the applications at work, I noticed your name and decided to take a look." I asked, "how could you get hold of official ZPD paperwork." Brandon said, "I work for the city, any official Zootopia form, goes through me. In fact I believe that's why Nick doesn't really care for me now, I decided to let Nick and Finnick down, by taking this job." *

*After about a few minutes of silence, Mary said, "lunch is ready, come and get it." when we sat down, Mary started giving us plates of food. For lunch there was a large piece of meat of a few veggies, I did not say anything hopping to be polite." Nick all of sudden said, "mom, you know that rabbits don't eat meat." Mary quickly said, "I am so sorry, I'm just not used to serving prey." I said, "it's ok, no harm done." *

After lunch I started speaking to Brandon, while Nick decided to stay in the corner talking to noone. I learned that Brandon worked at city center not far from the precinct, he was also recently assigned to special files. He even told me, if I ever needed help with paperwork just see him at his office.

*At around 2 pm we said our goodbyes, heading to Nick's car. As Nick started the car he said, "Brandon, got us together to start our scams. When we first started we were so bad, got caught so many times. The only lie we got away with back then was, he could convince the police was that my mother was also his and Finnick's mother. When we graduated school, a wolf that he went to class with, convinced him to go and apply with her for that paper pusher job. He stopped doing all the old scams with us." *
