"All right class settle down, now today is your first lesson on the subject of spell cards, tell me who can determin the three main groups of spell...um..Scar" Scar's head jerked up from his book

"um...normal..continuous and .....equip" the teacher nodded and wrote down the names on the boured

"now for an extra credit who can explain another two types of spell..no-one" Angel stood up, the teacher beckoned for her to answer

"field and ritual spells" she sat down, her voice was so monotone, she clearly allready knew this, her hand began moveing as she sketched something onto a notepad she had at her desk, about five minutes later she put down her pencil, she was finished, yet again he asked her another question on field spells

"Angel what are two types of field spell to power up the blue eyes white dragon"

"mountain and luminous spark sir" she smiled fakely, the bell rang, they stood form their desks, gathered their things and walkeing too a different room.

This lesson was about Monsters, the teacher was quiet cool, his name was Mister Vorad but he let the class call him Mr V for short, nice man, Scar glanced away from his book for a second and felt a paper ball hit his head

"Scar keep focused, I've got a lot more where that came from" even when being serious he was funny, Angel was sat next to him, she wore the uniform of the light dorm, it was a white skirt and shirt with a light pink outline, the boys had blue on theirs, with the symbol for light on it, she was quickly moveing her eyes from her pad and book to the teacher, she had filled up three pages of her book allready, aswell as jotting down tactics and combinations that worked well together

"how can you work so fast?" she looked back to him

"just naturally do it, here copy if you need to" she moved it closer to him

"Angel what are you doing back there with Scar?"

"nothing sir he simply missed a point and I allowed him to read it from me" Scar nodded in agreement, Mr V turnt back to his computer screen, he brought up something on the big screen

"allright class your homework assinement is to prepare an offencive tacic for tomorrow and be ready to perform it in class, allright now go" the class stood from their desks and ran out the door.

Angel was sat under a blossom tree, she was slowly eating an apple, Scar walked past her and into the Earth dorm, five minutes later he exited and sat next to her, he took a bite of an apple, he swallowed it and said

"so what do you think of the homework, pretty tough right?" Angel swallowed her mouthfull

"I've already done i't, it's not that hard, I'll help you later if you want" Scar nodded

"well, well, well look who it is, the filty werewolf, you no good hybrid scum" Angel stood up to her brothers cronies

"go learn some decorum...no wait go learn what the word means first, then come back after you've got some" the pair both drew out their discs, Angel drew out hers, Scar did the same

"you didn't think it'd be two on one did you?"

"I'll start then" Angel drew her first card "I summon Flickering Lyric in attack mode" her creature appeared "now I'll play double summon and call forth elemental- luminscent in attack mode- your move", the first of the pair, the fox Kerric drew his card

"I summon big shield gardna in defence mode" he cued for the end of his turn, Scar drew his card and smiled

"I summon vengefull Kirin in attack mode, and I set these three cards face down, your move" the snow leopard drew his card

"I summon Cloud Dancer Dragon in attack mode, now attack flickering lyric" the monster was destroyed

Angel/Scar: 7900

Kerric/Fang: 8000

"my move" Angel drew her card "I activte Luminscents ability, now by discarding one card I can draw two more" she did so "now I summon Profit Of Divine Light in defence mode" her monster appeared "and now I synchro summon Darkness Angel in attack mode" the monsters vanished into darkness and an angel appeared, "now attack cloud dancer dragon" he destroyed the dragon

Angel/Scar: 7900

Kerric/Fang: 7450

"my turn" Kerric drew his card "I end" Scar drew his card

"okay I summon Master Of The Mythical Beasts in attack mode" the creature appeared "okay now his ability activates, for each monster out he gets a pressure counter, thats 4, and now i activate double summom, now by sacrificeing Vengful Kirin I summon Demon Curse Beast, Faranos in attack mode". The giant beast appeared "now my creature gets another pressure counter, so now I'll use his ability, by discarding all five I can destroy one of your monsters, so Big Shield Gardna goodbye" the creature disapeared "now for each star my beast gets 300 extra attack takeing him to 3200, now smash him the pair of you" both beast attacked Kerric.

Angel/Scar: 7900

Kerric/Fang: 2050

"My move" Fang drew his card "I summon Baby Dragon in defence mode, your move" Angel drew her card

"I summon Chaos Angel-Sanity in attack mode, now Darkness Angel attack Kerric"

Angel/Scar: 7900

Kerric/Fang: 0

"we win" the creatures vanished, Angel withdrew her cards, the two foes ran away, Scar, smiled and looked at Angel

"nice move, take it that was your homework?" Angel nodded, the bell went, she took Scar's hand and waked toward, their class.

"Nice move Scar, good diversionary tactic" Mr V said as Scar finished his duel with Angel "and Angel wonderfull use of double summon" she smiled "okay so out of the class you two come equal first along with Seth and Kerric" the pair walked back to their seats. "Okay everyone enjoy your free time" the class went outside, the hallways were filled with pupils, Scar walked with Angel to the double doors that lead to the grounds

"um Angel can I ask you something?"

"sure Scar"

"well I was wondering wether you wanted to team up for the tournament?"

"sure Scar, your a good duelist so why not"

"great so I'll meet you at the dome tomorrow?"

"sure" Seth walked past and grabbed Angel's arm, he pulled her into a room, Kerric and Fang stood outside to stop Scar going in

"Angel you can't partner up with him"

"why not?"

"because I'm your partner"

"look im partnering with him okay, go team up with Kerric or Fang!" she left the room and walked with Scar back to the dorms.
