Amai, whose full name is Amai Muffin, is a cream colored ragdoll cat who attended Raccoon City University where she was the president of the Cooking Club until she got kidnapped by Umbrella Corporation after walking home one day and was brought to the same secret Umbrella facility where Aoi and Yoko were taken to as well.

After the interesting and successful results that the F-Virus gave, Aoi's father and the rest of his coworkers couldn't just leave it at the two dragon sisters. They wanted to experiment more and more, which meant more test subjects would be needed. The father and his team decided to target Raccoon City University for potential subjects since surely, there were a bunch of people here who all had unique and different talents, which could be beneficial if Umbrella wanted to use F-Virus subjects as assets or weapons. Before Amai became a ragdoll cat, she was a human as well until she was also eventually injected with the F-Virus. Amai may have been an adult when she received the injection unlike Aoi and her twin sister Yoko who were still basically babies when they received the virus, but Amai was never much of a fighter and lacked self-defense skills so it wasn't that hard for Aoi's father and co. to inject her with the F-Virus. This time, they decided to mix the DNA of a ragdoll cat with the F-Virus base and just like they thought, Amai turned into a ragdoll cat! She was a cream colored ragdoll cat with a pink nose, pink paw pads, pink tongue and pink in the inner parts of the ears, purple eyes, brown ears, brown and beige colors on the paws and brown, beige and white on the tail. She even has an adorable little heart on the back of one of her ears and the big middle paw pad on her feet paws were heart shaped! Aoi's father expected Amai to probably be too much of a softie just like his daughter Aoi who was deemed a failure by him and who was transported off to Mother Miranda. And just like he expected, Amai was indeed too much of a softie and wouldn't even fight at all during any of the battles she was put through. The only thing everyone noticed at the lab that was Amai's strong point was cooking and baking, but that would not benefit Umbrella in any way, so Amai too was deemed as a failure eventually. Miranda did report back about Aoi to Aoi's father, and mentioned that while the dragon escaped, the cadou definitely seemed to connect with its creature host, and requested to take over any other F-Virus subjects that were deemed as failures to which Aoi's father agreed. Amai was also transported to Mother Miranda just like Aoi and also arrived two days later and just like Aoi, got cadou implementation surgery. After waking up from her surgery, Amai filled the room with sweet smells of vanilla and chocolate! Miranda didn't understand why Amai was smelling of vanilla and chocolate cake. Is that really all that happened after the cadou connected with this cat? Besides the fact that Amai's blood is now light pink with white sprinkles as well? Miranda was disappointed but also intrigued by the cadou's interesting affect on creatures and animals. The priestess also found no use for Amai and decided to contact Alcina Dimitrescu to see if she could use any new staff for her castle, but to take note that this wasn't gonna be a regular human and told Alcina what she's been experimenting on lately and that Aoi was her very first creature cadou experimentation. Surprisingly, Lady Dimitrescu very much wanted to see what a talking and "human behaving" cat was like and what it could do so Amai's next trip was being taken to Castle Dimitrescu. There, Amai became the Dimitrescus' chef and lived in the castle but in order to stay alive, she had to prepare meals for Alcina and her three daughters that contained plenty of blood to sustain them. Amai, of course, hated doing this but she obeyed and made them cupcakes glazed with blood or "tomato" soup, with the tomatoes really being replaced with blood, for example.

This cute kitty cat loves to bake and cook, but her passion will always be baking. It's no wonder why Lady Dimitrescu wanted her as her chef as she's quite a good one! Amai has a mother named Kaori and a father named Haruki, who still have no idea what happened to their daughter or where she currently is, and the police have no clue either so Amai's case quickly ran cold.

Amai and her parents all share a passion for baking and before Amai was born, her parents already ran a bakery with the main treat being muffins. They named their bakery "The Muffin Retreat" and when Amai was around 7 years old, she already started developing a love for baking as well, just like her parents. After a while of watching their daughter show off her baking skills and how much fun she was having with baking, Amai's parents quickly let her run the bakery together with them! Amai hopes to one day inherit the family bakery in the future so that the bakery can continue running even if her parents are retired. At least, that was Amai's future hope before being kidnapped by Umbrella...The bakery doesn't feel the same without their daughter around, according to her parents.

Amai loves desserts and anything sweet! She also really loves hugs and pats! She is a very calm, friendly and gentle kitty cat that is able to get along with just about anyone! This meant the Dimitrescus fell in love with Amai quite quickly due to her amazing and wholesome personality, and of course the fact that she's a cat and not some stupid "manthing", as Alcina always put it. She received lots of pets and affection from Alcina and her daughters and Amai quickly started to warm up to them! This meant cooking and baking for them while using blood as one of the main ingredients became a little less unpleasant for her. Due to Amai's big love for baking and sweets, her color scheme is based on cake colors! Chocolate, vanilla, caramel and raspberry! All thanks to Umbrella's F-Virus!
