Venturing: Getting Them

We had arrived onto an unknown building where it was told that the teenagers had escaped from here. How many and how did they escape was beyond our intelligence which was why Yang had told us to arrive and group up upon here. As I stared upon the door in front of me, tilting my head to one side in ponderance of how they managed to escape or, first of all, get themselves inside through the front doors, I heard someone called my name and quickly I turned around. Already spotting Kyro and Natty whom were the first to arrive, other than myself of course. I smiled upon their arrival, neither of them said anything except for a smile plastered upon their faces therein. With Kyro taking a step to my line, his attention was turned to the door at front before shifting his attention towards me and asked, “Do you know how to get the door opened?” “Is it locked?” Natty responded with her own question, fixing her gaze towards the door then towards me which I nodded my head, frowning.

With the following short silence looming above us, I responded to the pair “It had been locked since I had arrived.” “I wonder if it was opened when the teenagers had decided this was the best time to trespassed into a building.” Natty questioned which Kyro growled lowly at her; she stopped her thoughts momentarily. Turned her attention to Kyro and smiled responding at him. I just rolled my eyes and exhaled a breath in disbelief of what was I seeing however. But I know I cannot let that get to me however. Changing the subject before it gets weirded out, I asked the pair about the others arriving then after which Kyro immediately responded to me as he turned towards me in silence, “The others will arrive quite soon I do believe.” “Are they just preparing themselves?” “For the time being.” “Great.” I answered with an exhaled breath before turning around and faced the pair of doors in front of us.

“Anyway, lets get things started. We are a bit behind schedule after all.” I started, calling out towards the two as they nodded acknowledging it before tailing me from behind. I led the way straight towards the pair of doors in front of us which I grabbed onto the handle tightly and pulled towards me. The door that had the handle attached to it was forcefully opened with a loud whine emerging upon the following silence that had came. We were allowed in which both Natty and Kyro take advantage of and darted through the pair of doors. Entering into the pitch darkness that awaits for us inside. I tailed behind them. Closing the door behind me.

The first thing I had noticed was how dark the entire place was. There was no light switch on either side of me and Kyro unfortunately which meant that we were to walk through the pitch darkness therein. The good news was that we were facing a short hallway, for I see something on the other side. A door or something with light seeping out from it however. With Natty exclaiming about the well lit door and raising her claw as she does so, she and Kyro became excited for whatever reason and started running through the hallway like hatchlings. Racing each other as they had arrived upon the other side very quickly and left me behind. I exclaimed to them, but refused to voice out. Instead, I just shook my head and frowned, still tailing behind them as my head faced upon the walls on either side of me. Pondering as to what was there however.

The hallway was short and sweet that in no time I had arrived upon the other side of the hallway very quickly. But my head was not turned to the well lit door before me, instead it was towards one part of the wall over onto the right of me nearest to the end of the hallway however. Before either Kyro or Natty could arrived straight through the well lit door before them, I grabbed onto their shoulders and stopped them immediately. Of which they turned around facing me with curiosity upon their faces. I immediately pointed towards the left side of the darkened wall; pointing onto something blue that was just sticking out of the darkness. Exposing itself for anyone to see. Upon which both dragons tilted their heads upon noticing the blue thingy and stepped closer towards it as I walked alongside of them. For about some time was when we had arrived upon the left side of the hallway towards the wall that was in front of us and the blue thing sticking out in the darkness.

As it turns out, it was just a blue wire. It was not live, so it never shocked Kyro at all however. Natty frowned before voicing her reason towards us two which we turned towards her just as she had spoke, “Thank goodness it was not live. I would have myself a fried Kyro if it were.” “But what was it here? Where was it attached to?” I questioned after her which Kyro pointed towards the wall. Onto closer expectation, I had noticed that the blue wire was attached onto a square box. That square box had nine buttons upon its surface; an blank black LCD above them. A long thing rod attached to the very top of the box. “Oh.” I answered, more like a comment however which Kyro grabbed onto the blue wire and immediately attached it back onto the black surface underneath the box. In an instant, the box LCD reappeared. Three numbers were attached to it. One, three and zero. “1:30.” I voiced, “This must be a bomber for the teenagers.” Responded Natty, although it was more like a comment than a suggestion while both me and Kyro turned towards her.

She found herself shrugging back in response to us before all three of us backed away from the box suddenly. I and Kyro immediately turned to face Natty before commenting through the short silence surrounding us, “If that was a bomb. Then how were anyone of them were able to defuse it? Was one of them a bomb expert or hobbyist or something?” “If that were to be the case: would we not get an significant event here in Vaster yet?” Responded Kyro as his eyes shift towards me, I nodded in response to him while Natty spoke out her mind “We would not.” We turned to her and she rose her paw as she spoke, “There is a reason behind them. Neither of the teenagers wanted to die this quickly. So one of them would stay back and defuse the bomb as best they can.” “First they would have to relocate it where.” Kyro said, Natty nodded “No one would had figured out that it would be on the bottom floor; hence why the timer is 1:30.” “Everyone must be on the top.” “Not just the top.” I interrupted them both as they turned to me, “They are at the middle ground. The second floor. It must be complex if it takes them this long to find that box.” I say, explaining.

“Otherwise, if the time was set to like two minutes or three. Surely they would be able to find their way out of the building and get home safely.” “But they never did.” Commented Kyro as he faced me then towards Natty who silently nodded her head. A long silence fell above us before it was shattered by me which I spoke while growling at the two of them, “Come on then. If what I said was correct. Surely that would give them enough time to escape.” “But knowing they are teenagers, they must have fooled around some.” Commented Natty as Kyro tailed me from behind. Natty followed too as we returned to the base of the stairs, climbing up into the second floor above.

By the time we had arrived onto the floor above us, we were a bit surprise upon seeing how messy the floor was. There were books and papers and other things scattered across the flooring. All the doors were opened suddenly, revealing whatever was there for us. I stared at the flooring for a moment while Kyro and Natty takes the doors on either side of them. Disappearing before me, I take the time to step forward and grabbed onto one of the papers therein. Raised it a short distance up towards my face and read the contents that were upon. I was a bit surprise into seeing about a portal device made and developed here that it did raised some suspicious about this connection with the missing teenagers that were gone, faded from existence. I frowned before shaking my head; raising my head glancing to the ceiling above me while Kyro and Natty popped into the hallway only to enter onto the next door after.

To pass the time, I had decided to check the other papers on the floor. The discoveries were a bit tad dull and a bit interesting on the flipside however. With plans such as electric chairs, tall buildings that would reach the skies and even a sparkling fireworks, I can tell that this building was more than what we had known. ‘Its more like an experiment room. Scientist used to stay here and experiment on things.’ I thought to myself, arriving onto the conclusion while I hear a voice called out from my right side. For immediately, I rose to my feet and ran towards the second door onto my right side. Entering in. Where I had saw Natty standing in front of the white desk before her; her back was towards me. Yet it had seems that her wings were a bit opened at the time being. I called out towards her, she turned around upon my call. A big grin appeared upon her face which she raised her claw high for me to see whatever was she holding at the time.

A blue electric torch. There was even a white label attached to the silvery rod of the torch too. However it was a bit hard to read what it contains. Disregarding that for the meantime, I spoke to Natty just as I rose my eyes up towards her “Where did you get that?” “From the surface of the white desk in front of me.” She declared, pointing to the white desk behind her. I find myself tilting my head to one side in question while walking up towards her. Gently pushing her to the side; I stared upon the white desk in front of me. There, I had noticed a white piece of paper upon the surface of the desk. Words were there imprinted in a sloppy looked which did tell me that it was indeed teenagers. For with a small smile, I spoke towards Natty “Keep that ‘torch’ with you. We might be able to find its usefulness however.” “Where do you think it goes into?” Questioned Natty, something that I immediately shook my head for I had no answer for her. I turned immediately around and faced her just as she walked out of the door and left me be. With an exhale sigh, I followed her behind. Reappearing back upon the hallway where Kyro regroup with us suddenly.

“I found these in one of the rooms.” He started, unfurling his claws exposing whatever was upon his claws as me and Natty turned towards him and lowered our heads, gazing at his paws. I had noticed two dragon scales upon his claws; scarlet and ruby. Immediately I had remembered somewhere that a red dragon was created fifteen years ago at this very town. Long before our story was ever created and Natty was still a bully back then. Reminiscing about the event, had me returned into my mind about the past lives I had with Yang as hatchlings. But that dream was short lived when Kyro called me out that I snapped into focus and upon the reality, turning back towards Kyro who nearly laughed to himself. Though he cannot hold back the smile plastered upon his lips. “These two scales remind you of something?” “back then.” I responded immediately, a smile mirrored him which Kyro laughed for a while then shaked his head before closing his claws and called out towards his mate.

If I had remembered, those two dragon scales were indeed from a red dragon from a certain realm back then. I had recalled about its scales. Knowing full claw that it was a male dragon after all, considering that all male dragons had indeed lived onto that realm in the past. But all of that information had me returned to that portal that we had just saw before this story. Into another building where we were looking for a culprit that had stolen some goods and entered into such said building where the ‘dragon realms’ were upon. I pondered about its connection briefly before Kyro’s words snapped me back into reality again. Something that I shook my head with surprise written onto my face while I lifted up my head to the horizon before me, quickly noticing that both said dragons were already upon the other side of the halls and in front of some door. Their attention was towards me just as I jogged on after them. Catching up.

“What seems to be the problem?” I questioned, Kyro jabbed his thumb forward. Towards the door in front of us. I turned to follow his stab, acknowledging the door in front of me. I take a step forward and leaned in close to the door for an closure examination. I had noticed how the door was unique compared to the previous doors that I had known before hand in the passed however. Compared to the previous doors, this door had a wheel in front of me. Two white arrows were pointing on either side of the wheel, curved to tell us to ‘turned it’. Something that I relay towards Kyro and Natty. Both of them nodded, acknowledging the order and stepped forward immediately. Grabbing the edges of the wheels with their claws, they turned the wheel clockwise which a click echoed upon our ears. The door opened before our eyes.

For revealed to be upon the other side of the door was an opened room. Small it was. Yet messy however with the same kinds of papers and books on the floor just as the flooring of the hallway behind us. In front of us, leaning against the white wall was a white desk. Two buttons were surfaced onto that desk. Both of which were on an even part from one another. I motioned to Kyro and Natty to tail me, they nodded their heads again and followed while I walked forward. Taking steps before entering into the room fully. Where the door shut behind us and something of a loud hummed filled our ears upon the short filled silences therein, we turned our attention towards the white desk in front of us where immediately, Kyro and Natty take steps to line up with me.

Two black labels were attached to the two buttons. Both reading ‘yes’ and ‘no’. They attached themselves onto the buttons below themselves just as they had glowed their respective colors however. As I find myself staring onto the two buttons in silence, something clicked into my mind. For something about the buttons had reminded me about something however. For quickly I turned towards Kyro and split my mouth to talk to him about something. Yet it seems that he already acknowledged it based upon what he had saw upon the buttons in front of us. That he stepped forward before them; placing the dragon scales below the buttons in their respective color. The scales glowed same as the buttons; the humming grew louder in response as a white bright light shines upon the room we were in and we disappeared from the room.

We found ourselves inside the desert where the brown grounds stretches to the horizon and perhaps beyond. The moon hangs above us with no stars therein however. The cool temperatures washed over our scales, making Kyro shivered suddenly as his eyes were closed. Natty went to comfort him. I turned my attention towards the desert in front of us. Scanned around upon our surroundings, but realized that the brown ground was everywhere however. With nothing to see here and perhaps our objective failing already, I hanged my head and wings and frowned wondering if this was it already for us. But Natty saw this and grabbed onto my shoulder, patting it while I turned towards her. She gave off a warm smile upon her face; I nodded my head at her before raising my head back upon the horizon with my straighten body. Wings unfurling behind me while I growled towards Kyro who nodded his head; knowing what we had in planned. So as our wings were spread out, we take towards the desert skies and flew quickly westward, for that was the only direction we think that the teenagers had gone themselves upon.

It was a few hours before we had noticed something nearby. That same white desk that we had saw beforehand back upon that small room within the hallway therein. Natty and Kyro seem to have noticed it too and tucked in their wings, diving downward towards the brown grounds below them with me tailing behind them. As we all landed upon the grounds, Kyro immediately brought out the two scales and placed them upon the surface of the white desk in front of us. Yet nothing had happened at all however which was a surprise for us. As I find myself blinking, perplexed upon the solution not being right, I turned towards Natty whom was crouching down for some reason. Her head was facing upon three square features that the desk had to offer and she grabbed onto the silvery handles there. Pulled them up, revealing whatever was inside. In one of those drawers was a written white note that we had saw earlier on during our exploration upon the building, Natty gave the note to Kyro who burned it with his torch again. The scales glowed again which me and Natty take noticed of.

Watching as the scales glowed in synced pulsing for a moment before a pair of black arrows pointed the way forward. We rose our heads high towards the horizon, noticing the brown grounds before us once more and we take towards the skies after Kyro had snatched the two scales again from the surface of the desk. We flew for a long duration that our wings were gradually getting weaker and aching all of the suddenly; as I flinched upon the pain at my wing jolt; Natty exclaimed despite hissing through her own pain within the wings, “There is the opened door.” “Theres are the… hatchlings?” Questioned Kyro just as we had dropped onto the grounds, folding our wings while we stared upon the discovery befallen upon our very eyes.

“Why are there hatchlings here?” I questioned, glancing to Natty who shrugged and frowned following afterwards, glancing her eyes upon the hatchlings for a moment before shaking her head and spoke “Are they what we are looking for?” “No.” Responded both me and Kyro, shaking our heads for emphasis. Upon Natty’s exhale of a sigh and closing her eyes, we take off into the skies once again with the glowing stones still pulsing in Kyro’s paws, the black arrows still pointing southward for some strange reason.

Venturing: Justice on 90

We all gathered around the moonlight day; witnessing the true horror and the biggest of our career of our lives however. For what we had seen was truly imaginable as we had dared hoped that this was at least fiction or something along that line. Yet no matter how much we had tried to deny it at all; the truth was standing in front of us this whole time. We had saw many dead bodies scattered about; all upon the entrance of the forest which left none within the forest darkness before us. I was scared. Maybe fearful of what had happened; but I never showed it at all however despite the shivering and shaking that was exposed frequently upon my own body. With a breath, I shake my head and clapped my claws together which had gain everyone’s attention as they had drawn towards me.

“Alright.” I started, trying hard not to chock up at all “We are to investigate this place. Figure out what happened here and report to Yang back at the station.” There were a couple of nods; grunts and among other strange noises coming from the officers before me. But they all nodded their heads and went their separate ways, splitting off from me. With another exhale of a sigh and me closing my eyes, I reopened them again noticing that my own team was standing adjacently to me. All of which were peering outward towards the entrance before us, staying silent. Quiet as if they were trying to be sneaky. “Zander, Kyro, Natty, Abavina, Zanunk, Ozkun and Maujur. Just please get yourselves out there too.” I responded, no hint of amusement while the others just saluted at me before departing away afterwards. Zander and Natty started heading to where the CCD were while Kyro and the other four officers went with SCD. And I am once again alone.

I gave another exhale of a sigh; my mind pondering how this had all happened. Yet my eyes draw forth towards the bodies of the dead canines before me. A question had popped up upon my mind, wondering how all of the bodies had indeed drew themselves up upon the entrance of the forest instead of being scattered across the forest floor. Thus I draw forth towards the bodies and leaned forward; squinting my eyes upon them. Noticing small holes drilled upon. There was blood in those holes; dried ones too however as I traced it back towards the forest floor behind them, noticing the trail of blood following the bodies back into the forest. I called upon everyone. “Start your investigation within the forest floor instead, guys.” I started as every head turned towards me and towards where I was pointing instead. For they all nodded their heads and moves themselves forth through the forest’s entrance, fading right into the darkness that had welcomed them inside. I was the last of the officers to entered right in. Thus when I do; I had noticed rather quickly that the darkness was everywhere. Quickly hiding the trees, bushes and perhaps evidence around our surroundings, I grunted and remained silent while Zander motioned me and went east from the entrance with me following right behind him.

We had walked for a while. Till we ended up upon what seems to be a cabin or a hut as Zander would say. As we peered upon the cabin or hut; I had noticed how brownish it looked. There was no paint upon it to make it stand out within the darkness surrounding it. Tilting my head to one side, I noticed Zander walking forward to the cabin and grabbed onto the door. For he had attempted to twist the knob and opened the door; instead, the door breaks opened and he casted the door behind himself instead. Narrowingly missing me while I growled angrily at him. He responded with a smile back; but stay silent as he and I entered right in. Once inside, we had noticed how empty the single room was. Three tables stand interconnected with one another. But nothing was on it however. As we stared at the three tables, I stepped forward to Zander and tapped his shoulder which had forced him to turn his head towards me while I pointed to the table’s underneath. He nodded and crouched to the flooring, onto his four paws that is and lifted his head to look upon the horizon before him. “Anything?” I questioned, curiously as he shake his head afterwards, frowning. “Figures. This place would be cleaned up. It is after all before that festival.” I muttered drawing another sigh before departing from Zander, he followed me as we had exited out.

We had met up with Wizarao and Silkur; the two dragons from the CCD. Both of which were staring outward into the lake in front of me. Their claws in front, formed while silence were held upon their snouts. As I turned towards Zander, he just shake his head saying nothing in response before walking away from me. I gave an exhale before nodding after and followed him from behind. We walked away from the lake and the cabin behind us, returned to the forest ground once again where Kyro, Natty, Arislo and Naiera were gathered. They seemed to be staring at something beneaeth their feet. I went over to the four; questioning them. Kyro and Natty greeted me. Arislo and Naierra stayed silent which I take to notice before hanging my head upon the grounds beneath me. Below us was a broken glass shaped like a fox and I was the first to prompt everyone out of the blue, “Why is the broken glass shape like a fox? It should be a triangle or a square or something.” “That is the thing, Ling.” Responded Kyro with a frown, shaking his head afterwards before hanging his head again “We never knew why this glass was shaped like that. We had wondered if it was tempted by one of the canines living in the forest.” “Or our perpetrator wanted to frame the foxes.” Suggested Arislo, “Or it is an signature look for him.” Responded Naiera which we all glanced towards her afterwards. She rose her shoulders and frowned in response at us, “Hey! It could happened.”

“Should we count this as evidence.” Questioned Kyro which was something that I nodded at him. At my nod; Kyro and Natty dropped to the ground. Carefully grabbing onto the glass shape fox below them, they slipped it over with a plastic bag and zipped it. Containing the evidence at once. Arislo and Naiera exhaled a breath before they turned towards me and spoke, “LIng. You are needed at the entrance of the forest.” “Have they figured out why-” “Nope.” Responded Arislo interrupting me suddenly and I nodded my head in confirmation, “I am going there. Zander, go with Kyro and Natty.” Zander gave a nod and walked towards the pair’s side as Kyro smiled faintly before turning around, heading forth to the north side before us while I fall back towards the entrance with Arislo and Naiera.

Upon the moonlight once again was where I turned my attention towards the gathered piles of bodies over to the right of me. It had stand halfway through my height, something that I was rather surprise about however. But shake my head to counter it otherwise while I cough towards Ziorui and Kivyu; both of which flinched and turned their heads over to me. Faint smiles upon their snouts as I spoke, questioning them. “I had heard I am needed here. What is it?” “We had gathered the bodies of canines and pile them up upon here. However, the last corpse we had placed upon this pile had something that might interest you somehow.” At this, Ziorui had gave me a note which I turned it over and read the contents within.

Thus I gave a nod afterwards; both Ziorui and Kivyu nodded respondingly then turned themselves around and gathered with the others who were gathered about as I turned over towards Arislo and Naiera, both of which tilted their heads to one side in question and I spoke towards them, “We are to gather ten notes found within the forest floor. They are scattered about, no doubt that the culprit wanted to keep this a secret.” “Where are the ten then? Surely we should find them at common spots, right?” Questioned Arislo while I responded, “Yeah. But I do believe that some are located in spots at the cabin and lake, and at the right side of the forest where my team is currently.” “Then we should split up then.” Suggested Naiera, “Good idea.” I started. Thus that was what we had done. Both dragons had started for the lake and cabin which Sisivi and Wizarao were surprise to see them here while I were to head towards the right and regroup with my team.

But as I was running over to the right side of the forest, something white had caught upon my eye. I forced myself to slow down because of it and glance towards where I had saw that white thing. It was still there; lingering upon the tree staring at me as I had met its eyes. For I drew forward towards the thing and grabbed onto the white sheet; peeling it off from the tree trunk before pocketing it afterwards and continued heading right. It never take me long to catch up with my team as I had found myself upon the right side of the forest floor. Upon the right side of the forest; I was surprise to see a mine standing in front of me. It was grayish and full of stones; there was even a rock above the mine too however. I stared at the mine for a moment, peering upon the total darkness that obstruct whatever things were upon there. I had felt myself walking towards me; till I hear a voice called out towards me.

I snapped my attention back towards reality and immediately turned around; spotting Kyro and Natty along with Silkur. She smiled at me which had made me uncomfortable at times. But I just shake my head to rid of whatever feeling I had within me and responded to her once more. Immediately after came her voice as she, Kyro and Natty held up five other blank cards. I nodded silently and held up one that I had found somewhere within the forest ground. “What do this do anyway besides they are playing cards? Or cards by the culprit?” Questioned Kyro, I shake my head unable to answer that question however while our walkies revived itself and became staticy that we all flinched in surprise before staying silent. For we had waited a few seconds upon the silence before someone spoke through the walkie; someone familiar however. ‘Yang.’ I thought in my mind as Kyro and Natty smiled faintly, pleased to hear their chief safe and sound after traveling to the WWA.

“So we had found important documents at the WWA office. It turns out that the massacre of Virkoal Forest was true. There were hundred of canines dead; none of the minor and major animals that were there. The ape developed some sort of PDST after this significant event and was moved to the hospital at canine. The documents also tells that the Hourans and Hunters were the first to remove themselves from Virkaol Forest, the day after the massacre had began. So the public; canine included are blaming the incident onto them for now.” “Yang, the Hourans and Hunters had nothing to do with this. We had found evidence that it was a fox that committed this.” I protested, pressing into the black button to relay my thoughts. “I see.” She responded, “Where is the glass? Do you guys have it for now?” “Its kept safe keeping.” Kyro responded with a proud smile upon his face; Natty Silkur just stared at him momentarily earning me a laugh afterwards before shaking my head and continued the conversation with Yang.

We had talked for a while; till she had to go. At our simultaneously ‘overs’, the silence hangs over now. Yet it was Silkur who breaks the silence, crossing her arms as she turned over to Kyro with a smirk upon her snout “Safe keeping huh?” She questioned the red dragon who blinked at her seductive for a moment before shaking his head and letting off a small laugh afterwards. I drew a smile at them, but departed immediately and headed forth towards the center of the forest whereas I began to look for the remaining white squares that I can. But the pure darkness that surrounded me made things harder for me to even see or to find and expose the remaining white square either. For onto that reason, it had taken me a while to find the rest and returned back towards the entrance of the forest where the conversation was now held.

They had seem to be talking about the bodies that were drawn forward to the entrance of the forest. There were tons of good questions stated by many of the officers however; some of which I had to nod my head unknowingly and unconsciously of course. But realizing that I was just overhearing their conversation had me stopped momentarily as I drew my attention towards the crowd. But they were preoccupied with themselves for the moment there. Instead of just drawing myself with them, I moved at a distance from them and stopped; spreading the cards afterwards upon the ground. Formed into a large rectangle that was two in height and five in length. Thus I take a breath and flipped the cards over to where I had realized that strange lines were drawn upon their surfaces. Tilting a head to one side, I tried to combine the lines together in hopes of figuring out what this whole drawing meant. It had taken me a while too however after so many frustrations that had came afterwards. Yet it was done regardless.

The drawing in question? It was not a drawing; but rather a map of the whole Virkoal Forest; there was the woods labeled ‘woods’ at the center, left was the cabin and lake and the opposite of that was the mines. But something perk my interest at the other end of the forest labeled ‘...’ for some reason. Curious, I grabbed onto my radio and call for my team. They answered instantly and without hesitation as I spoke following them, “Can you guys head to the deeper ends of Virkoal Forest? There seem to be something missing here. Labeled ‘...’. I will come with you of course.” “Alright.” Responded all as silence seems dead for me at the moment. I draw a breath and tilted my head backwards, closing my eyes and shortly opening them again. Questions formed upon my mind, every thought lingering at my surface wondering and pondering how all of this are together and the culprit behind it all. Though it had gave me a ached, I growled and shake my own head. Lifting myself to my feet, I started for the forest again disappearing before the other officer’s views.

I had walked farther north into the depths of the forest where my own team was waiting for me there. Kyro and Natty smiled faintly upon me; Zander just crossed his arms and stated nothing. Murjur and Ozkun stayed silent; kept their eyes onto me while I moved myself up front ahead of me and rose a claw at the others behind me, motioning them. “Come on.” “Should we get backup first?” Questioned Ozkun despite the silence answering for him instead. I heard him growl lightly but complied as we walked together down the forest ground. Heading Northward towards the deeper ends of the Virkaol Forest.

Our eyes opened wide in the surprise of seeing barrels and barrows standing before us. A whole gathered of them were in one spot in front of some warehouse before us. I pointed to both sides of the warehouse; Kyro, Natty, Zander, Ozkun and Maujur nodded their heads and started for the directions of which I had intended for them. For as they had departed from me, I kept my eye upon the warehouse and the supplies in front of me. My eyes narrowed; thoughts of questions formed in my mind in wonderance. But I cast all of that aside before walking up towards the warehouse at front. Bypassing the supplies and the barrow, I entered right on in. For the first thing I had noticed afterwards was how pure dark the entire atmosphere was and how empty it was too. Nothing was there; all around. Except for some hey that was strapped with red ribbons around them. Nothing else was here. I frowned while I scanned the area several times, then lifted my walkie pressing onto the button before responding towards the other officers then, “nothing was here.” “Same here.” Responded Murjur and Kyro, one after the other. “Return to our starting point. But someone gather the barrow and barrels. We might need it to confirm something however.” There was silence onto the other end which I take for granted however as i started turning around and walked back towards the entrance of the warehouse again. Meeting up with them however.

For we all take the evidence we had found from the warehouse; returning to the entrance of the forest where everyone turned their attention towards us. An variety of expressions had came from each of the officers which was something I guess had taken noticed about before faintly smiling. Holding up my claw which was formed into a first; the VPD behind me had dropped the evidence behind me and formed up together with SPD and CPD while Sisivi questioned me, “So this is the evidence found at the other end?” “Indeed. Surprise that they are still all gathered here. Unused and untamed however. Yet I had wondered what they be used for?” “Going by the document that Yang had stated, “ Suggested Arislo while raising his claw up towards his chin, “Do you think it is possible that whoever it is planning to attack Virkoal Forest because he is not invited into the festival? Which reminds me, what kind of festival do the Hourans and Hunters threw about?” None of us answered that however and Sisivi frowned in response before the long silence was held, broken by Kyro who stepped forward and spoke.

“Regardless, we now have everything we head needed. The glass shard, the documents stated by Yang, the ten notes that was written down instead of drawn, the real reason why the canines were up front and Hourans and Hunters leaving the day before the attack and the barrels and barrow. I think we all know who is to blame.” “Wait hold on Kyro.” I started while he turned towards me in response; eyes narrowed in annoyance after wanting to get the culprit for this. “Think about it for a moment. The glass shard is shape like a fox; yet Hourans and Hunters are Coyotes and Wolves respectfully. Furthermore, Hunters are dumb. They go by insanity just for laughs and causing chaos wherever they go-” “And making other inhabitants annoyed and frustrated with them.” Pointed out Natty which Zander and Kyro muttered something underneath their breaths, agreeing with the dragoness, “Neither the Hunters or the Hourans are to blame for this. But what were they doing before the attack, we should question them about.” “Find out the truth if they were the ones committed it.” Realized Arislo as I nodded my head at him, “Since Hourans and Hunters only trust us; SPD and CCD, both of you may return to your stations. Thanks for your service.”

At their nods; the investigation was truly over. The SPD and CCD as stated by me departed from the forest entrance and left us be. Till it was only six of us left, I spoke to Zander and Kyro “Both of you head to the bases of Hourans and Hunters, report to me exactly as they had stated. Record it if you can.” Both Zander and Kyro nodded their heads, departing immediately from us as I turned towards the dragoness in turn “Natty, Murjur and Ozkun. You three are with me.” “Why do I have to be with the girls!” Exclaimed Ozkun, wailing despite Murjur hitting onto his side with a growl coming afterwards “We are to see what Yang wanted at this time.” “She had something interesting?” Questioned Natty which I gave a nod towards her, “Even better. Closure to this entire thing.” Thus without a moment’s hesitation, we fled from the forest behind us. Heading Northward straight towards WWA.

Thus we had arrived upon the WWA. It was a lot bigger than I had suspected. Tons of windows scattered about upon the surface of the building of WWA. A white flag stands in between ourselves and the building behind it. We all fell to silence, neither of us saying anything at all while I turned towards my teammates and gave a nod. They said nothing except for Ozkun as he responded with his own and we walked forth towards the flag. Straight towards the door in front of us which was normal size mind you. We could see a hallway onto the other side of the door just as Natty had opened it however. With a whine coming from it, we entered right in. Lights brightened upon our arrival as faint footsteps came from the ceiling above us. We waited at least for a while before Ozkun growled and stepped forth ahead of us. But he was stopped immediately by Natty and Murjur. Both of which grabbed onto his arm; shaking their heads as he whined a bit. I only faintly smiled at them but that was gone too when we heard a door opened upon our right side. Out came Yang, our boss.

She had somehow looked tired however. Her eyes straining to be opened after staring at the screen for a half a day I so believed. Despite her looking for the documents that were found in some folder earlier, her face darkened and her eyes narrowed at upon us. Taking a look upon each of us before responding with the tiredness upon her voice “Is this all that was here?” “We are expecting more to arrive very soon. With the documents taken from the two factions that left Virkoal Forest before-” “Alright.” Interrupted Yang, slightly nodding her head before turning around and walked down the halls towards the door to which she had opened it, motioning us with her free claw before entering right in. Natty, Mujur turned their heads over to me. I said nothing to them in response. But complied with her order. Following behind me were the two dragoness as we each entered through the door; one by one.

Inside, we found ourselves by the stairs which ascended into the next floor above us. Yang was already a few meters away from where we were standing and she does not seem to slow down at all. For upon the door opening and closing behind her; we walked up the stairs. Hearing the loud footsteps banging against the surfaces of the steps below us as we ascended the steps. Straight towards the next floor above where a silver door stands in our way which was opened by Natty however as we each entered right on in. Returning to another hallway that stands before us and I lifted my eyes high into the horizon while Murjur and Natty walked forward bypassing me and stared towards Yang who was waiting by the door halfway through the hallway that we were in. I followed behind the two officers, regrouping with Yang as we all entered right on in.

It was a fresh breath of air that washed over my cold body that I had found myself shivering and clenching my fangs and claws at the same time. Natty, Yang and Murjur turned their attention towards me; but ignored me briefly as Yang walked forward a few steps and reached upon the large room in front of us. Me, Natty and Murjur followed behind her. But we were surprise to see a deer in front of us. Seated upon the desk’s chair in front of the desk, folding her hooves while her attention was drawn towards us. Mainly me. “Guess the entire party is here.” “What is she doing here?” I exclaimed, growling at such said deer who immediately turned to me and gave off a confident smirk before raising herself up upon her feet and half circled around the desk. Poking me upon my chest as I growled and she smirked, she leaned forward and whispered “I am now the temporarily leader of the WWA.” “But you are not a dragon.” “I do not have to be.” she argued back, “Enough.” Demanded Yang, interrupting our argument while both me and Villican turned towards Yang.

But before she could say anything; our walkies went off suddenly which forced me Natty and Murjur to hang our heads towards our chest where the walkies was held. It sprung to life despite Yang’s groaning in the background for we had ignored it afterwards. As she shook her head and take her seat onto the desk, the voice which belong to Kyro responded through “We got the intel from Hourans and Hunters. But it was not in recording, in fact, we cannot find them however no matter where had we looked.” “What about REC? Or the Underground?” “Negative, sorry Ling.” I exhaled and said nothing for the short silence draw me forth to my own line of temporarily thinking. Yet when I turned towards Yang, she gave a short nod. I responded silently with my own before pressing the button again. “Report back to WWA. Yang wants you to hear this too.” “Is it very important to the case?” A pause of silence before Kyro responded again “Fine. We will come.”

“It is surprising that you hatchlings are still playing with toys and such. Protecting the citizens of both Moon and Vaster while ignoring Canine, Underground and…” She said while smiling. But pause upon her trailing as she licked her lips afterwards before narrowing her eyes straight upon us, mainly me “REC.” “You have nothing to do with this crime.” I argued back at her to which she laughed again and responded, “I have every right to know what happens within the forest. Even to my own property!” “Virkoal Forest is not yours. It belongs to the -” “The dogs. The stupid bitches, I know.” She hissed back; drying her lips while she stared at me angrily and clearly frustrated. “Yet the stupid Hunters are not maintaining the relationship between predator and prey. They had left them all to die during that fire, two months ago! Never fed them anything a month after. And thus look at the end result. Hunter’s and Hourans’ relatives all died off. Who did it?” “It certainly was not you. Despite you taking the credit for it’ “Exactly.” She smirked. “Vilican. Leave.” Yang’s haunted words filled the sudden following silence long before she could say anything back towards me. As she narrowed her eyes back upon the dragoness, she huffed and shake her head. But comply with the order otherwise.

For the door was slammed behind us with the silence fell overhead. I heard a exhale from Yang. Natty brought a smile to mirror Yang’s faint irritated one But she had closed her eyes afterwards. Luckily, this silence had not trailed onward when the door reopened again and me, Murjur and Natty turned our heads towards the door. Spotting the drakes then. Kyro, Zander and Ozkun all walked in with proudness upon their heads as they marched forth to take their spots alongside the dragoness. I smiled to Zander, he gave me a nod while Kyro stepped forth to Yang and handed her the document; rather a white note. Yang quickly read it fast before lifting up her eyes towards him and nodded.

“Now that rules out most of our suspects.” We heard Yang confirmed and she flipped the note over and turned it around whereas it was now facing us now. I leaned forward to the note to read what it said; but due to be hasty writing it was rather almost impossible. At my frowned, Yang cleared it up stating “Hourans and Hunters had nothing to do with that murder; we have a relationship with the canines of Virkoal Forest. However, out of all the canines within the canine realm. Only one is found missing after two years since the terror that had gripped upon the canine realm. Yet we never knew their relationship towards other minor and major factions of the intertwine realm. Best be on the look out at once for now.”

“Think we can regroup with them?” I questioned Yang who shake her head and grabbed onto the note, sliding it away upon the drawer underneath “We should relocate straight to the station. Something bad will happened here; it had something to do with that deer we had just saw earlier.” I gave a nod and issued the order. For onto the next second, we had found ourselves flying south back towards Vaster. Yet I was curious what kind of invasion or rebellion that Yang was talking about. She would not even talk about it either when I brought it up to her. For she just kept to the silence afterwards. At my exhaled, I guess I would have to wait and see otherwise as I worry about the terrors that would gripped upon our world and realms and every faction therein.

Venturing: Leaf Owner

Fall had came where the leaves gathered upon the streets of Vaster. I stared out onto the horizon before me, looking out towards the evening sun hanging from the horizontal line. Empty and quiet was the place was which was a good thing however. The street that I was upon stretched forth into the horizon; halting itself upon the sign at the other end where it had became a blur to even see what was over there. Regardless, I just shook my head and closed my eyes while shifting my attention towards the Police station doors behind me where Kyro, Zander, Natty, Ozkun, Maujur and Takaki were upon. I had sometimes not known what we were waiting for however.

With a shake of my head again, I exhaled a breath before questioning them upon the following silence. Of which they all turned towards me with a mixture of feelings and emotions amongst themselves. Though only Natty responded to me, I watched the others while my ears flickered and I nodded my head to her as if I am agreeing or understanding on what she was saying at the time being. “We are waiting for orders on Yang.” “Did we not agree to have a party within the station at this time?” Questioned Kyro to which Natty and Maujur shake their heads, stating nothing in silence as their attention was towards me. Kyro exhaled a breath to which I responded to them, “So when will the orders be however?”

A short silence had followed mine which was shattered so suddenly when we had started hearing my mate’s voice upon the walkies seconds later. We all hanged our heads; gazing out towards our chest where our walkies were upon at the time being. For within silence, we all listened to what Yang had to say. “Sorry to cut your conversation short everyone. But we do have a mission involved at the time being.” “During thanks giving too at well.” Commented Maujur underneath her breath while she hummed silently and glanced away. No on response after that to which Yang takes the advantage to speak out towards us as well, “Well anyway. There is a problem around town as of right now. Can you guys do the patrols currently and figure out what is going on?” “We will have the party at the station?” Questioned Kyro again which Yang answered back to him, “No. End of discussion. Now go!”

We all flinched upon her voice that we immediately split apart from one another. Kyro and Natty headed Northward to start their patrol. Maujur and Ozkun left us Northwest to continue their investigation at the junkyard that had just opened. Me and Zander went Southward to see if there be any problems there. So after the sudden split; me and Zander had became silent at the time. Yet we often times glanced at one another in silence as our wings flapped upon the midair; feeling the cold dropping upon our warm bodies as our attention was drawn towards the streets before us.

For as far as I knew, the streets of Southern Vaster were clean and empty same as it was when we all gathered at the station in the beginning of the story. We decided to land upon the grounds; folding our wings suddenly while Zander’s eyes glanced all around the surroundings upon us. Taking in the silence and emptiness of the streets while he shift his attention back towards me, something that I just nodded back towards him. For we split up immediately; he already heading leftward and I heading opposite of where he was going. As we headed down the streets, we glanced our heads to both sides. Staring down onto the buildings in front of us in wonder of where the crime shall be.

However, it never took us long to get to that. For I already heard Zander’s voice called out from the walkie which had startled me at the time being. As my feet were firmly grounded upon the crossroads and my claw already touching upon my walkie at the time being, I glanced left and right towards the other streets that were presented before me. But something had caught my eye. A leaf trail that was heading Northward. Straight towards the junkyard that was just opened where Kyro and Natty were upon however. I tilted my head towards the side in response, shortly before pressing onto the black button upon my chest onto the walkie that was there, I growled towards Zander “There is a pile of leaves here. A trail that is heading Northward. Straight towards the junkyard where Kyro and Natty were upon.” “The junkyard?” Questioned Zander responding immediately to me. The following silence I gave to the black dragon sealed it up however.

For before long, I heard the sudden gust of winds blowing adjacent to me and I turned my head to face whomever was there. Spotting immediately Zander who was running straight towards me. Heavy breaths were under his snout while his eyes faced directly upon me. I pointed to the trail immediately as he gave a nod of response; shortly after, we found ourselves walking the trail as it stretched Northward just as I had predicted. But suddenly it had stopped; for we raised our heads high from the grounds and glanced upon whatever destination we were upon. I had expected to be at the junkyard and I was anticipated to be current at the time; however, we found ourselves upon a different spot. Somewhere new where neither of us had ever seen before no matter how many times we had passed through this street. A new building was in front of us; half the sizes of the other buildings adjacent to it too. A neon light shined brightly upon our eyes; yet somehow some of the letters were shattered and breaking into pieces which falls upon the grounds in front of us as I glanced to Zander.

He immediately stepped forward to the door; grabbing onto the silvery handles there. He tried to pull; the handles would not budge from their locked doors. He tried several times before turning around, facing me before shaking his head to which I gave a nod before raising my claw high, pointing to a white sign that was attached to the doorway. “Closed.” I read. “I figured as much.” Zander responded, giving no hesitation in his comment while he had backtracked to my side afterwards; flapping his wings reshuffling them a couple of times before responding to me, “Now what?” “We fly towards the rooftops and find a silver door there. Surely it is opened that we will be able to get inside upon the building.” “There is a silvery door?” Zander commented, I gave a look. Responding to him none while I just nudged him, growling as we spread our wings. Taking flight and hanged high towards the rooftops of the building in front of us.

By the time we had landed, we already heard a walkie call from our walkies “We found a blood trail. Leading Southward towards somewhere.” “Same to here, just in the opposite direction however.” Both Natty and Ozkun responded respectfully to which Zander gave a smile. Something of a warmth upon his face while I just nudged him, growling again. Getting him back onto focus once more. We turned our attention towards the rooftop as we gazed around and even walked around; searching for that silvery door that I had anticipated at the time. Surprise, after several seconds of searching, we had found it however. Standing upon the other end of the rooftops; facing Southward towards the gates of Vaster, completely hiding away from us however. “Great.” Responded Zander with his arms crossed; taking a glance at the door adjacent to us while he turned towards me in silence, “How are we going to get inside then?” “We hover. What else should we do?” I questioned him, Zander shake his head disapproving in silence. But nonetheless gave into the suggestion as we take to the mid flight afterwards and turned our attention to the door to which I grabbed onto the silvery knob in front of me, opening the door afterwards.

The door moaned so suddenly and loud that I had to gradually opened it to prevent anyone from inside and outside from hearing us. But when it was silent was the time that I opened it more again. Till it was fully opened was the time that we entered right on in. Where a set of staircase was settled beneath us, we descended the stairs. Hitting the grounds below where we had found ourselves upon the attic for some reason. The place was smaller than I had anticipated; and a bit messy however. With a bed off towards the side; lots of telephones scattered around the room with none giving any maneuver for anyone living here any room to walk from and to. Zander tightened his snout and frowned; I mirrored him while I motioned him with my claw, we splitted up a second followed.

I headed to the left, nearby the stairs apparently. My eyes was turned to the yellow book uncovered and turned to a certain page upon the book. A lists of names with their certain phone numbers were upon there; adjacently was another phone. I immediately grabbed the phone and held it up upon my ear, listening to the slight buzzing sound echoing from it. Then afterwards some numbers were whispered to me; ‘ ten, five, eight, six, two, zero.’ It went on to repeat that again for several seconds before the line went to buzzing sound once again. I immediately wrote down the numbers onto the yellow pad I had swipe from Yang’s desk, I hope she does not mind it however. Then I turned towards Zander who was also mirroring me for some reason too. Thus we turned to one another afterwards.

A short silence had fallen upon us as the slight ringing filled the room. This was shattered when I split my mouth to speak first towards him to which he gave a nod as if expecting about the same phone call that he had received and I had as well. Upon the expected nod, I narrowed my eyes and pondered while he walked over to me and questioned for a moment, “What does the numbers mean anyway? Some sort of code that leads towards something? Or something awesome?” “Wish I knew.” I answered him as he glanced at me suddenly. But our short lived silence was immediately interrupted when we turned towards the door which had just been knocked. We rose our pistols into the air, Zander shouting out towards whomever was at the door. Thus came a response which was familiar to us.

“Oh right.” I exclaimed raising my claw to my forehead, “Forgot that the others will be arriving too.” “All came for the same phone call?” Question Zander, “There is a phone call?” Exclaimed Kyro following a smack which I perceived to be Natty however. A couple of seconds of background noises had came before I walked towards the door and opened it. Allowing myself and Zander to emerged out into the evening day settling before ourselves to which the others gazed upon us in silence and I explained to them what we gathered from the room behind us.

For at the mention of the numbers, Ozkun immediately responded to us with a paw over another paw “There is trouble in the Moon Kingdom!” “I guess that was where we will find out why there are many leaves about and scattered around town.” I started, with Zander Kyro and Maujur shrugging in following silence before we all turned our attention back towards Ozkun. I gave a nod to him and he nodded his head. Turned around and spread his wings, taking flight Northward straight towards Moon Kingdom. The rest of us followed him.

There were a lot of questions running through my mind. The majority of it were related to the Moon kingdom and what were they doing currently. If I had recalled beforehand, no one was living inside there for the place was vacant at the time being. But trouble? “Already?” I whispered out of noticed which was caught by Natty as her head was turned giving me a look which I shake my claw at her immediately disregarding it out as we continued flying.

For quickly we had arrived upon the moon kingdom. It was completely dark here that we cannot see without some sort of flashlight however. Luckily, Kyro and Ozkun were carrying one at the time as they flicked their flashlights on and glanced around. Both of them had taken the lead at the time being, leading us through the garden and front yards in front of us, making our way straight towards the pair of doors which were opened at the time being. Much to our surprise however. While Kyro stretched his claw and grabbed onto the pair of doors’ edges, pulling them to the side and creating noises at the time being. We all looked inside, staring upon the main room before us where we had noticed how dark and vacant that place was.

Immediately, we entered in. Half expecting some traps or anything that would prevent invaders or foreigners from entering in. Yet there were not any which we immediately tensed up however. I turned my attention towards my unit and they stopped in front of me. All eyes were upon me as I responded to them, “We should split up. Half heads towards the kitchen. Half heads to the second floor.” “I bet you there is something upstairs we can find.” Responded Maujur with a smirk towards Ozkun who just stared at her silently. At her huffed, she growled at him and took his claw, dragging him towards the stairs and upwards where they both disappeared immediately. I was a bit surprise about having the pair go instead of the half while I shift suddenly towards towards the ones remaining adjacent to me. Kyro and Zander rose their shoulders and gave a little smirk, but shook their heads following afterwards as Natty motioned for everyone to follow her down. We take her leadership and headed into the kitchen, hoping to find something there.

But upon our arrival, we were surprise to see the kitchen spotless and clean. Though a bit of dried blood and ketchup were upon the grounds in front of us, trailing straight towards the refrigerator adjacent to the sink however. We followed the trail, heading into the refrigerator in front of us where Kyro grabbed onto the handle and opened. We were surprise upon what we had saw. There were dead bodies of canines frozen solid in ice cubes. Stuff to the brim upon the refrigerator. Natty gagged; Kyro frowned. Zander just growled. And I was at a loss of words. Yet I had pondered about what canine realm was up to around this time however.

Though shaking my head, I immediately turned towards the other dragons behind and adjacent to me. I gave a silent nod to which Zander acknowledged it and pressed onto the button of his walkie, relaying the information we had discovered back towards Yang. Upon his silence, there was silence on the other end which Zander turned to me and frowned. I dismissed it anyway, recalling “It is perhaps midnight around the time.” “But does not all patrols work at that time? Even ourselves?” Kyro spat and Natty gave a nod, I exhaled a breath before nodding my head “Yes. But perhaps she is-” “We need to go.” We heard Ozkun’s voice called from the main room. “There are some monsters in here!” “Defaced and deformed!” Exclaimed Maujur as we immediately ran out of the kitchen, drawing our pistols and fired.

Flashes of light had came upon the darkest of room while we aimed our guns upon the targeted in front of us of which were running, tailing behind Ozkun and Mujur as they ran out the door and closed it to prevent them from ever exiting the room. For once the last had already been killed, I called out towards the two others and they went back in immediately. They were out of breaths apparently for I had already clearly noticed upon their rising chests. Their pants were heavy and it seems that they were speaking in gibberish because of their cloudy heads at the time being. I called out towards Kyro who ran towards the kitchen; coming back with a glass of water for both. They drank it down immediately and I questioned them again.

“We had noticed a large computer room at a complex location within the Moon Mansion. Impossible to get in without an indirect way of entering right into it however. So anyway while we had entered right in, we were immediately ambushed by whatever these things are and we ran like hell!”

“What were those things anyway?” Questioned Zander, clearly confused upon whatever was going on. As the rest of them except for me glanced upon the dead canines then; they all immediately went towards one conclusion. “Zombies!” “You all are idiots.” I exclaimed, gradually shaking my head as they turned back towards me again, frowning though some had mixed feeling and expressions otherwise.”There are no zombies located here within the intertwine. It is rather impossible.” I started, narrowing my eyes upon them all then spoke when it was quiet “But the computer room is rather interesting however. Do you know if there is someone at the controls upon this time?” Ozkun and Maujur shakes their heads, frowning in response as their eyes settled upon me. I gave another exhale before nodding confirming gradually upon what they had said before glancing back towards the kitchen and responded, “Guess that is all we can do for now here. We should head back.” “But what about the zombies-” Ozkun responded to me, something that I cut him off with a growl. “We are heading back.”

So in the silence. We had returned back towards Vaster. Though what we had saw upon the Moon kingdom rather stayed with the rest of our unit, including Yang however. We cannot figure out what were those trail leaves and their connection to the case at the time being. A case that was about a creature that was attacking upon Canine realm early nighttime yesterday, right before this story was started. From the news, they had reported that many were missing. The corpse had leaves upon themselves which was trail Northward straight towards Moon Kingdom. But who did it and why?

Upon the early morning, just as me and Yang were sleeping cuddling upon the bed of our room. We heard something rang and we had figured that it was just our front door at the time being. Groaning and goggly at the time, I rose to my feet and headed forth towards the front door where I had opened at the time being. No one was there surprisingly, but left a mysterious white package that was transparent. I could see four shapes and symbols located there. A plastic knife was adjacent to them; I let off a yawn and immediately and unconsciously grabbed onto the ‘playset’, closing the door behind us which had startled Yang as she was already up at the time being.

I brewed coffee upon the kitchen, gulping it down in one swallow waking me up entirely. Yet my mind seem to be foggy at the moment’s time however. For I had not noticed that Yang was already by the kitchen’s line, staring down onto the ‘playset’ in front of me just as I turned towards her. “Morning.” “Morning.” We both exchanged; giving off a well warmth greetings however while she sat upon the brown chair adjacent to the table in front of us. “What is the latest?” “Nothing new so far. Just found this at our front door.” I explained, nudging my head towards the ‘playset’ in front of us as she gave off a hum and a nod. Hanging following after while she asked me, “Can you give me coffee too please?” “Sure.” I started raising up again, pushing back the chair as I heard her grabbed onto the ‘playset’ that I had found and started examining it all over.

For just as I was brewing hers, she immediately gave off a yell. I flinched, immediately turned towards her and exclaimed “What?” “This is not a ‘playset’!” She exclaimed turning to me before returning her gaze back towards what was laid before her. Four pale wooden pieces were in front of her; that plastic knife already out but put aside for the time being. All four pieces had a deep hole upon their centers. She frowned, “This is an important clue.” “I think that case is getting to you howe-” “No think about it for a moment.” She growled back at me which I stopped immediately and looked at her while she explained.

“Zephyr is gone to who knows where. The kingdom is vacant. There is a report about the creature attacking Canine; several bodies are missing and corpses were found lying underneath piles of leaves. Now your unit had found a computer room; the dead bodies frozen inside the kitchen of Moon Kingdom. Blood trails leading straight into the kitchen; leaves scattered around Vaster-”

“My gosh.” I whispered, in awe as she was interrupted. For in her silence, I gave a nod then immediately turned to the four pieces in front of her “And these four are the culprit then.” “Indeed. What we need is figuring out what these four symbols meant?”

There are four pieces in front of Yang. Two of the four shapes are shaped like C- Moon; only that one of them is backwards at the time. The other two looked really odd for some reason. For the two odd pieces fit upon the other C-shape moons to create a full or new moon. Name the moons; that is the four factions of the Moon kingdom.

Venturing: Pararun

There was shouting and screaming. Footsteps rapidly running as if they were in a race. All the citizens were heading away from their town. Why? No one dared to answer. And as I remained on the sideline watching them flee like rabbits, I noticed the sad expressions on their faces. Tears welled up filling the eyes to the point of having blurred visions. They were in a panic. For as their hearts raced, their screams were high-pitched. Constantly, I see pushing and shoving amongst the clusters of citizens. All wanting to get out of town. But not because of vacation; it was something else. The unknown and as I hear the voices, I turned my head away. Closed my eyes and shook my head; knowing this be the last time I would see them. To my amazement, my prediction was spot on, however.

My eyes opened up. Memories of those voices were still on my head. The shouting and the screaming; it was perhaps too much honestly. But I know deep down within myself, I cannot afford to lose or break down and cry. Unknowingly, my arms stretched outward. My claws planted themselves upon the underside of a rock. I pushed and made noises. My strength slowly leaving me as if I did not want to do this anymore. The rock above rumbled and vibrated to my surprise; my eyes widened and a small smile imprint on my face. For with newfound strength and motivation, I pushed against the rock.

It moved away from me. Opening a hole that brightened up suddenly to my cold face as my eyes shut tightly and I slowly pulled myself to my feet. Then I opened my eyes and looked at my surroundings. It was just as I had expected. But the main question that was kept on my brain was-

“Ling! Ling!” My ears perked up and shifting my head towards the source of the sound; I grinned quickly noticing the beautiful White silver dragoness, my girlfriend. She was running to me from my left side; screaming rapidly with her high voice and at the same time waving her right claw in midair. Her name was Yang. She ran up to me and wrapped my body with her arms and claws; embracing me with a warm hug and maybe a kiss or nuzzle here and there. After a few seconds of contact, we finally separated and I noticed her expression had changed.

She was about to speak when I interrupted her suddenly with words of my own “Where are Zander, Natty, and Kuro? Were they not with you?” “They were…” Yang trailed in answer; her eyes shifted to my shoulder blades then to my wings before she added, “But they left me to find you. They had to check if the owner is dead and we killed him.” I nodded slowly, taking her to answer as I looked away again. All around us was a leveled ground. No buildings, cars, or civilization. All were gone in a couple of seconds. And as I looked back towards Yang, I noticed she was quiet.

Her scales were not shiny anymore, instead, there were cuts and spots all about. The cuts seemed to be deep as I could perhaps see bones within them if I looked carefully enough. Though I shivered, I decided to look elsewhere. Her dark-shaded silvery wings were ripped apart rendering them useless in times of flight. It would take forever to fix them and harder to even find someone who could sew them together. I turned my head away and looked over myself. My cuts were all over my blue dirty scales. But no spots were found. The blood pooled out from them and ran down towards the grounds below me. I had remembered that I used my strength to push away the rock.

And amongst the silence, Yang’s voice cut through the silent air as our eyes shifted and met one another. “Come. We need to regroup with the others.” “Do you remember where the hole was then, Yang?” I questioned her. A nod escaped unconsciously from her head as she turned around and headed in the direction from which she came from. I followed seconds after. We walked through the gray blackish grounds beneath our feet as our eyes rose high to the horizon. Watching the blue skies with white fluffy clouds slowly running across, we continued on ahead. Luckily for us, it was just a short walk before we arrived at our destination.

A large hole. Familiar voices echoed in our ears and we knew instantly our friends were here. I heard sudden footsteps and shot a look at Yang who already was moving to the hole. Her face hardened as she reached the stairs. Descending below the hole thus disappearing in my sights, I waited and listened to the sounds of her footsteps. The voices inside snapped to attention and I knew instantly, they heard her.

Soon the footsteps stopped and in their place was a conversation. It started off with a harsher greeting as I had suspected the two parties were cautious if the other as an enemy. A second or two afterward and I am hearing screaming sounds that brought me out of my own mind. And quickly glaring onto the surface of the hole below, I leaned forward a bit. Hoping that I did not fall. It was hard to hear the conversation as the voices had dropped to only a whisper. I could only make out bits and pieces.

And as I stood there listening to their conversation, I hear a sharp sound of a wind that almost sounds like a wolf howling to the daylights. I snapped to attention and turned around. There, I noticed a foreign group a few steps from where I stood. I blinked momentarily noticing that the foreign group was a mixture of silver dragons and birds. Saying nothing, I threw my right claw towards my pants, snatching my pistol from its holder. Drawing it up leveling with my head, I yelled at them “Hands up where I can see them!” But they never obeyed. Instead, they stared at me, ears held back as their eyes poke daggers against my scale. I walked to them confidently and with a hardened face

“I said hands up-“ I repeated but a member of the foreign group just chuckled. He stepped forward closer to me. Threw his claw onto the head tip of my pistol before pointing it to the grounds below. I just stared at him. Another silver bulky dragon whose wings were larger than mine. His horns sharp and pointy. His scales are bright silvery so that it seems the sun’s rays are reflected against it. The silver dragon stood amused to my antics and spoke with a small confident smile on his face. On his head was a black hat; a strange-looking symbol was imprinted.

“And why should we listen to a pretending officer of the law?” I growled at him, my eyes narrowed as I yank my claws to life. Startling the dragon and he stepped back; he looked to me bewildered and I responded to him with a smug. But that was short-lived when I changed my expression again and raised the pistol at him. “As I said before… hands up.” And the group did. I heard rapid footsteps behind me. As they came, I heard Yang yell “What happened? What is going on now?” “We got trouble?” Kyro asked, noticing my pistol was already out of its shell. I shook my head and tilted it, pointing straight towards the group in front of me.

No one said anything in the seconds that passed by. As I watched my unit then the group in silence before Yang stepped out and her face hardened. A million questions bombarded the group and all they could do was stammer in disbelief. Earning a few chuckles and laughs from me and the others while I withdraw my gun; taking a glance over at the group once again. ‘None of them seems to be around here, perhaps they were in other towns or cities close by?’ I pondered raising a claw to my chin as I gave an ear to the conversation at hand.

The group was actually split apart and so happens to meet up at the edges of Vaster. The silver dragons came from a kingdom that was not far from where we were. But when pressured about their goal into coming here, none of them answered. They only say “They came because of an explosion.” Upon that word, my mind instantly returns to the battle before the explosion and a single question popped into my head. Though I kept it inside; a quick look to Kyro and Natty when they stared at me and instantly, They knew what I was going to say.

The birds who were with the kingdom dragons were actually ravens. Black feathered body head and wings. Their eyes were bloodshot red as if they had not gotten any sleep lately. Their leader was named ‘Enzo’ or ‘Erzo’. A black feather raven. He was shy and quiet to talk. He seemed to be pressured into talking with Yang by that other raven adjacent to him. I saw Yang nodded in response before introducing herself and her unit, which was us by the way.

After a round of introductions, it had seemed that the tension brewing within the two groups have faded and all that was left was chatter. But even that was short-lived when I heard Kyro shouted something that caught our attention. And with eyes to him, he seemed to be pointing at a distance. Taking a quick look, my eyes widened. A grayish stressed wolf was running across the horizon, weaving herself through the brokenness that was around her. Her body was slim and flawless as if she was a running animation. Her tail was short. Eyes yellow but were missing pupils because of stress. As we watch her go, seconds after we notice who was chasing after her.

A bunch of cats.

“Now that raises a lot of questions.” I heard Kyro answered receiving a few nods from Yang while the silver dragons and ravens looked at us with mild concerns. I nodded in replied silently then shift my eyes back to where we had spotted the wolf and the cats. They seemed to be far away now, but that did not stop us from wondering why the cats were chasing the wolf. When in reality, it was supposed to be reversed. With that thought in mind, I looked over to Yang who had a bright smile upon her face like a hatchling on Christmas morning. For we knew, investigations were our thing as officers of the ruined town. Yang spoke but her words were to us.

“We need to cover more ground. Time is perhaps against us at the time due to how close those cats are towards the wolf.” “Yeah.” Came to a response which I presumed to be Zander. Kyro and Natty nodded their heads, smiling only faintly as Yang nodded back to the pair before addressing our assignments

And during which, I stole a look over my shoulder. Spotting that the group was somehow gone. Vanished as if thin air. I blinked in surprise and quickly interrupted Yang as she looked over to me. I rose a claw and replied, though it seems Kyro beat me to it first.

“Where did they go?” Kyro exclaimed. We heard a sigh coming from Yang as she shook her head; a low sounded pitch growl came from her mouth as her eyes narrowed towards the perhaps general direction of where they had gone. “Kyro and Natty head northward towards our second former HQ. Stay there and find some evidence.” Both dragons nodded, spread their wings before flying off. Which left me and Zander together. I really do not mind, however.

As I looked at Zander, I noticed that he was preoccupied with his thoughts swirling around his head. That I frowned at him before raising a claw at his shoulder and tapped him. Zander flinched in response before scowling at me afterward, I faintly smiled before motioning him to follow me. He did regardless as we left Yang by herself

Heading leftward, down the ruined streets where buildings and houses were broken beyond repairs. It was like a tornado had ripped through our beloved town while we were taking shelter underground. We resumed our walk, our footsteps echoing silently in our ears and eyes looking to the horizon where the sun beats down upon our faces. My wings were folded, but constantly I flapped them unconsciously as I stared looking onto the houses surrounding us.

The streets were narrowed but long. Thousands of mailboxes littered in front of us. All of which were broken or destroyed. We tried to step over them, most we could, however. But to those that we could not, we were forced to walk around them. So that what we been doing for five minutes into our stroll down the street. And upon reaching the end, I stopped while Zander continued on ahead. In the corner of my eye, I noticed something bright and yellow. I turned to it before walking closer towards the objects that interested me.

Up close, the bright light was a lamp. It was a silver cover; the bulb was crystal clear. The lamp was wireless which only means it runs on battery power. I stretched my claw to the lamp and gripped it tightly before hoisting it up on eye level. The heat from the lamp transferred to my claw to the point that it was almost unbearable to withstand it anymore. So I dropped the lamp, but to my surprise, it did not shatter.

I heard footsteps behind me and turned around to face it, I spotted Zander. He was huffing, seemingly exhausted from having to backtrack to get me. As his scowl lingered on his face and his arms impatiently crossed his chest, I sidestepped and showed what I had found. “A lamp that works?” Zander questioned, shifting his eyes to me and the lamp. His face softens as I nodded in reply adding “Be careful Zander. It is warm.” But Zander scoffed and laughed a bit before grabbing the neck of the lamp hoisting to eye level before we exchanged glances

“See!” Zander boasted “Easy pissi!” I rolled my eyes and said nothing to him as we resumed our patrol. At the end of the street was a crossroad. Both ways were again littered by wood coming from the houses surrounding the roads. There was a big pile on both sides, so walking is out of the question. I spread my wings without a second thought as Zander had done the same. And jumped to the air we go, hovering just above the grounds below before we flew northward with hopes of catching up to the others.

We ended up upon a building that was still standing tall which shocks both me and Zander while we kept eyes on it. We flew to the building and landed upon the streets. Folding our wings, I turned my head around and scanned the surroundings. Everywhere I looked was empty and dull. Smoke was rising from one of the ruined houses at a distance. Adjacent to it was nothing else. The trees snapped and broke into two. One of the trees smashed onto a house behind it, further damaging it. As I looked onto the scene with a neutral expression upon my face, my ears perked and I turned to the source. Spotting Zander walking forth to the building before us and I said nothing but followed him in.

Approaching the door, we noticed that it was already opened. We looked to one another with surprise looks upon our faces before grabbing our pistols, hoisting them up into the air. Zander peered in first before pulling away. He allowed me to look inside which I took for granted as I replaced him as spotter before looking in. A single room stands before me. It was large and full. Words were filling the air, followed by some static that I perhaps deduced as a turned on a television set. I was worried and slowly fear climbed from the depths of my stomach while thoughts filled my-

I was pushed forward. My feet acted on their own. Two three steps forward of losing my balance as I growled, glaring onto the dragon behind me who stared back without regret of what he had done. However, instead of sharing a few words with him, I looked around the room. Paying attention to the details as much as I could before relaying the information to my partner, Zander. Around the room were five rotten wooden doors. One of the five was opened; allowing cold air to nip against my feet and scales. I shivered responsibly and motioned with a claw wave to Zander who nodded in response.

Zander stepped away from the main door; closing in onto me as he gripped his pistol tightly against his claw. With each step, his face grew harder and darker as if he was working on an evil scheme to get rid of someone. When his feet lined up against mine, he turned around and glanced at the opened door. Then he slowly looked at me. I nodded in response as we walked forth. Smacking our scaly bodies against the walls on either side of the opened door before throwing ourselves in. For once we were inside, we were shocked to see Kyro and Natty here as they raised their heads to us, a smile appeared on their faces.

Putting away our pistols, we walked to them. The room we were in was dusty, a bunch of books clustered upon the bookshelves. All of them were gathering dust. Two opened windows stood on either side of Natty and Kyro as we heard faint chirping sounds outside. As we walked to the pair, Natty waved at us. I responded with my own as Kyro asked “Why are you guys here?” “To ask about something…” I started which gave a concerned look on their faces. I shook my head in answer and rose my claw signaling Zander as he stepped to my side. Revealing the wireless lamp that we found lying on the ground. Kyro and Natty gasped in response before they took pulled out something too.

A circle of cheese…

It was moldy, smelly, and disgusting to look at. Even I held my nose when I saw it. As I and Zander reeled back with Kyro chuckled faintly, Natty explained “We found this at the kitchen…” “why would anyone leave behind a moldy expired cheese?” Zander asked his eyes to them. Natty shrugged silently and frowned, her wings folded and she looked relaxed as her head glanced to the cheese between us and shrugged again as if she did not have any other explanation. I huffed bringing the silence to me once again. And the room followed behind while we listened to the sounds of chirping outside our window.

Then the silence was shattered when we heard footsteps about. They were faint, almost hard not to hear if one was not concentrating hard enough. As we listened to the footsteps; we were all prepared. We grabbed our pistols and turned around, facing the opened door behind me. Raising and poising our guns at the door, my lips parted and I found myself shouting “Vaster Police! Come out of the room now!” Then there was silence. My eye twitched as I gripped my pistol tightly and stepped forward to the door. Zander Kyro and Natty behind me for backup as we move like a unit towards a prey. As we stepped, I felt my heart pounding in my chest and I had become anxious. I often found myself shivering uncontrollably or something else I was not aware of.

As we closed in onto the door, I heard Zander shouted behind me. “Last warning perpetrator! Come out now.” “Perpetrator?” Answered the voice; it was familiar however to our ears as I blinked suddenly three times before popping myself out from the other side of the door. And there I saw was the silver dragoness dressed in blue, “Yang…” I grinned as she nodded, mirroring that smile back at me while we all walked back into the room.

“What have you all found lately?” Yang asked after seconds in the silence. Only Zander and Natty pulled out their findings. A lamp whose bulb was flickering about after being on for hours and a circle of cheese. We all looked to Yang who suddenly nodded silently; taking in our offerings and at the same time pondering over her next train of thoughts. This had gone on for a while before the silver dragoness speaks; “It makes sense… somewhat.” She concluded, shocking us as we looked at her

“B… but how?” I protested, my voice increasing in volume and my eyes stared at her. But with a smile on her face as she nodded again in confirmation, she held out the last piece of evidence and placed it on the floor for us to see. What we saw was a deflated blue balloon, it was not new or old as Yang quickly explained. “This balloon I found was at a nearby trash can inside of the park. I was tailing the cats and wolf, wondering where they were going.” “Well…?” Kyro pipped up as he looked at Yang

“Where were they headed? What was their destination? And why three items?” A round of murmurs quickly surfaced as we each threw in our acknowledgments, concerns, and comments. But that too was dispersed when Yang answered him “Their pattern was an odd one, Kyro. It was as if they had rehearsed this somehow.” She said becoming quiet for a second before resuming when no interruption occurred, “They were moving in a rectangle shape when they reached the center of Vaster Town. Then from that shape, they suddenly moved Northwest to its edge and stopped there…”

She looked back at us and frowned “I have not seen the wolf or the cats after that. I presumed the wolf was captured.” We fell silent after that, processing the information we had through our minds. The room fell silent, we all kept our eyes to one another before I found myself speaking. Shattering the room, I asked quietly and hesitated as if I was embarrassed by my question “Where did they go?”

Venturing: Skires Repura

We all gathered onto the streets of Vaster. Our attention was upon the grounds beneath us as we silently picked up the trash for the community of a party that was left right behind. Perhaps it was yesterday? Perhaps it was at the break of dawn? We would never know because we were never invited into such a thing. What was the party all about? Even I do not know the answer to that question.

Regardless, we were told to pick up the trash here and that was what we are suppose to do anyway. So we had divided the area of interest up into six different spots. Kyro automatically takes the top right; Natty right besides him. Zander takes after her. I take below Zander. Ozkun and Taraki takes the last two spots. All six of us working to clean up the streets of the filth that had been lying there for hours. We worked our tails off until midnight or until we were so exhausted that we could not take it anymore. Thus as we rest, our flickered ears heard someone spoke out loud towards the rest of us however.

Our attention was drawn towards Zander and Natty. Both of which held something in their claws. As their attention was drawn to me, I frowned and rose myself from the ground. Walking forth towards them. As I gathered with the two other officers, they held out the object upon their claws while I hanged my head gazing at the object in question. It was a needle. So thin that it was nearly impossible to find through the coloring of Zander’s scales. I lowered my claw upon it. Snatching it from their claws and held it up onto my own. Into the midnight skies above us, I stared onto the moonlight with the object in my claw. Staring onto it, noticing quickly that it was already used. Yet before I could say anything, Natty had already turned around. Picking up something adjacent to her and held it out towards me as I glanced down towards her.

A pink reddish napkin. It had a white large spot at the center of it. Four sharp arrows or spikes stretched from the center and to the edges of the napkin itself. I stared at the center of the napkin. Spotting something there and lowered my claw, poking onto its center where the entire napkin just folded onto itself. Creating a waterfall effect or something similar to that however. As all three of us stared at it for a moment, Natty and Zander frowned tilting their heads to one side before raising them and glance towards me. To whom I shook my head, gave no answer to them but just stare at the napkin for a moment before turning around. Glancing over to the three other officers standing by the sidewalk in silence.

“Alright.” Zander responded to the silence, coughing to make himself clear to me and Natty while the latter just turned back towards him. “Why did Ling poke the center of the napkin?” “Maybe he was trying to recreate the waterfall effect using his finger just as the needle had done too?” “But the needle was so small!” Zander protested, shifting his attention to Natty who frowned. “True. The needle is small. But it is enough to poke a hole through the napkin which is consider paper however.” There was no answer came from Zander as he held his head again, gazing back onto the napkin before another popped question came up. “Additionally. Why one napkin? Why was this successful and where were the other ruined or failed ones?” “What was his objective….” I trailed, joining in onto the conversation while Zander and Natty turned their heads over to me. A pause erupted upon the atmosphere above us. “Good point.” Cough Zander again; gazing away with Natty giggling adjacent to him. Smiling in response.

I noticed that Kyro and Ozkun held their walkies upon their snouts. Already pressing the buttons upon the sides of their walkies as their attention was drawn towards the trio of us. I nodded at them before returning my attention back towards Natty and Zander, the two were just holding a conversation about the napkin in their claws. Going back and forth about the procedure that I had committed and the results afterwards. As I listened onto their conversation, I heard walking behind me. A tap onto my shoulder had came and I turned my head around, looking. Quickly spotting Ozkun who responded to a whisper onto me, “We are allowed to do this case.” “There is a case aligned with this clue?” I questioned Ozkun who nodded his head, smiling at me before that faded away. Onto an exhaled breath from me as an answer to Ozkun, I just nodded in response to him before spreading my wings again. “Fine. Find that object. I am sure Yang had something else attached to that case also.” But upon Ozkun’s silence, I just growled at him. “You got to be kidding me.”

A few minutes was taken to spread the message straight to Zander and Natty. Both of which nodded also afterwards as their wings were spread out and flew off instantly, leaving everyone else behind. The two had fled Northward. Disappearing behind one of the taller building behind them however. As I watched them, I turned myself around. Noticing rather quickly that Takari and Kyro had already left; Southward I presumed despite Kyro’s disappointment in not going with his mate at all. I groaned; facepalming while shifting my attention towards Ozkun who just smiled faintly at me suddenly. With red rosy cheeks appearing upon his face, I just grounded my fangs and spoke towards him. “Come with me. We will stay straight here and find our clues for the case.” “What are we looking for?” Ozkun questioned me, but I had ignored him somehow. Folding my wings while my attention was towards the grounds; I stretched out my attention to the ends of the streets. Towards the intersections that were upon the sides of our roads before returning my attention back towards Ozkun and shake my head. “Nothing here.” “Then lets head over to the other road adjacent to this then.” I just nodded after him.

For we walked the road that we were upon; towards one of the pair of intersections that were upon the side ends of the road. Turned the corner towards the right side, then once more repeating the route again until we were upon the other road adjacent to the road that we were upon. As we had reached this road, I stretched my eyes up front into the horizon; gazing at the road before us where I had noticed that nothing was here once again. I frowned while Ozkun repeated his words and we had repeated our route again. Glancing to the new road ahead of us, I once again stretched my eyes up front into the horizon and stared. Spotting something in the distance ahead of us which I automatically raising my claw high and spoke. But before the words could be spit from my own mouth, I felt a gust of wings blowing from my side, something that I had shivered from, then turned towards my side just as Ozkun had returned to my line. For in his claw was that item that I just saw; a paper with something upon it. I stared to it for a moment; then shook my head as Ozkun frowned. Preparing himself to move off, I grabbed onto his arm and questioned him. “What was the orientation of that paper?” He looked at me confused. Then lowered his eyes and head down onto the paper; pondered a bit before answering me “Straight. It was align parallel with the sidewalks on either side of the road.” “Then that means…” I trailed, tilting my head to one side which was pointing to a particular house or building nearby. As Ozkun glance to the direction of which I was pointing to, he breaks into a smile then nodded at me suddenly before running off. I tailed him afterwards.

“Guys. Moon kingdom is abandoned. But there is something sinister happening there somehow?” Yang spoke through the walkie just as we had stopped in front of the building in front of us. “What kind of sinister thing?” We heard Kyro questioned, “Must be something oozing like that show I watched earlier.” “Haunted Goose?” Questioned Natty heard from Zander’s walkie which sparked laughter from Kyro and Yang. The short conversation stopped just as I turned towards Ozkun who quickly nodded his head. He takes a step forward. Shoving his finger into the keyhole. Twisting it to the side before hearing a click from the door before drawing his finger out. The door trailed along with him as he turned back the keyhole again and removed his finger. He tailed me afterwards while we entered through the door; into the house therein.

“Someone needs to enter into Moon Kingdom. Yang’s orders by the way.” Responded Zander after a few minutes of silence; another pause of silence had came while our eyes turned to the surroundings around us. The room we were in was smaller than we had suspected; but it had looked like an average room that a regular dragon could live in however. With a brown pale table sitting between the sofa and the television at the center of the room; towards the sides was household appliances for everyday uses apparently. As my attention was drawn towards the pale table, Ozkun was walking to the entrance of the dark and creepy hallway adjacent to us. His eyes were pulled out towards the horizon of the hallway. Yet he had stand still somehow. While I glance towards him with no other command left upon my snout, I shift my head downward and gaze towards the pale table that was in front of me. “Alright I will go then.” Responded Kyro, “What about Ling and Ozkun? Should we just wait for the two before we should move onto the next area then?” “Natty is right.” Responded Zander, “There could be some potential dangers there-” “No. I will go.” Glancing at the table, I had noticed that another piece of paper was lying onto it surface. Pointing directly at the sofa itself. A drawn crayon arrow was pointing to the NorthEast corner of the paper which in turn was pointing to that hallway that Ozkun had found.

‘Speaking of which…’ I trailed pondering while turning my head back to the hallway. Noticing that Ozkun was already gone from my sights and the room itself. An exhale of a sigh drifted from my lips before I find myself shaking my head before returning my head back upon the table again underneath me. Automatically grabbing onto the walkie by my chest, I pressed the button and spoke towards my coworkers and teammates, “Guys. I am inside of a building within Vaster. No body go outside the boundaries of Vaster, for like Yang had said, ‘It could be dangerous there’” “That is not what I said, Ling!” Yang’s voice came as a response after I had released the button, a crack of a smile came from my lips before that faded off and I turned myself around. Walking to the entrance of the halls now and into it as I pressed the button again, speaking.

“Regardless, as I had said previously; I am inside of a building now. Entering into the dark and creepy hallway. What were your ends, everyone?” I released the button again. A few seconds of silence had came looming over my head as my attention was drawn towards the door already opened onto the other side of the halls. I stared at it, each steps moving forth towards that door. As the walkie clicked and faded, I was already upon the door where i had grabbed onto the knob and pulled it back. Hearing the whining from the door just as Kyro spoke through the walkie, “Nothing from the Northern side of Vaster. Are you sure that no one should head out into the Moon kingdom?” “I am certain.” I responded immediately already entering through the door and into the room. Upon the next two clicks and Zander and Natty’s report to me, I had find myself back upon the room that I was initially in. Ozkun was already by the sofa. Holding a remote for some strange reason as his eyes were turned towards the television in front of me watching something related to action. I growled towards him, rushing forth at him. Snatching onto his arm and pulled him off from the sofa to which he snapped his attention back upon the reality of things and the television turned off in response.

Raising his claw towards his forehead, he spoke glancing at me “What happened?” “What were you doing lazing around at the sofa?” I questioned him, eyes narrowed as he frowned in response. Simultaneously, Takakri’s report came from the walkie. “I do not know.” He responded after the frown, shifting his attention back towards the television again then towards me, “Firstly, I had entered through the room and glance around. But had noticed how the place looked exactly like-” “The previous one. I know.” I finished for him with his eyes going wide for a moment before nodding at me again. Faintly smiling, I turned around to the room surrounding us. First, I glance towards the sofa and the television. Finding no pale table there. But a black pen somehow was lying in its place. “Where did you get that?” I questioned Ozkun who followed my eyes straight towards the pen that was below him. HIs head shook, he frowned again just as I walked forth to the pen in question. Then held it up towards my head; squinting my eyes before reading the letters that were printed out.

“C-R-E-S-C-E-N-T C-O-R-P” I spelled, “Crescent Corporation?” Questioned Ozkun and I turned to him. He reeled back his head in response and gave off a frown at me while I narrowed my eyes upon him. A low growl came from my throat but nothing else had came for afterwards. For with a shake of my head, I responded to him while walking to the door again “There is nothing for us here. Let just head back then.” “Are the other officers itching to head to the North?” Ozkun questioned me, I never answered back. We retreated back towards the previous room. Then out the door of the building where we ended up upon the outside. I stretched out my arms and gave off a yawn. Closing and reopening my eyes before looking to the bleak skies above me just as Ozkun returned towards my side again. It was an hour after midnight; the moon was shrinking in size and gradually sinking into the horizon. For the bottom portion of it was already gone somehow. Staring at the moon, I spoke towards Ozkun who turned towards me. “Get everyone gathered by the gates. We do not have any more time to dally anymore.” A nod came from Ozkun and raising his walkie while we raised and spread our our wings, taking into the nightly cold skies where the calm winds blew against our wings. We headed north; and everyone else had gathered there.

Upon landing upon the front northern gates of Vaster, I turned my attention back out into the buildings in front of me. Where the moon continuous to sink into the horizon line below it, we watched the stand still buildings blocking our paths of the moon behind them. I heard Ozkun gave off a sigh, his eyes closed while I find myself smiling towards him for some odd reason. As his attention was towards me, he said nothing in response and neither did I however. For upon the silence we had waited for everyone else to arrive on in. After a few, we quickly noticed that Zander and Natty had came from the horizon. Flying faster than we had ever anticipated however. Their wings flapped faster and more rapidly that it seems that they were struggling to be airborne however. As our attention was drawn towards the pair, I rose my claws high above my head and waved upon them. Zander was the first to respond to me before Natty as the latter just growled at him for a moment. Just as the two had closed in onto us, landing adjacently towards Ozkun who watched the two do their stuff. After the first pair came; Kyro and Takari, the two were flying from the opposing side of which Zander and Kryo were beforehand. As always; I, Kyro and Takari waved at one another before the two landed upon the grounds adjacent to Zander and Natty however. With everyone gathered, I turned towards Ozkun who held up the two clues that we had found earlier on.

“A pen and a napkin?” Questioned Zander as he find himself tilting his head while eyeing upon the objects that were in front of him. Ozkun nodded his head and faintly smiled at him in response, “Yeah, we had found these two by the building. Center of Vaster.” “What does these two have anything to do with the case in mind?” Zander asked again, Ozkun turned towards me to which I take over the conversation and addressed it to everyone. “Because remember when Yang had stated about the oozing and other problems that were found in the Moon KIngdom?” “So that is the relation?” Zander questioned me again to which I gave a nod; he exhaled a breath and frowned before nodding. Complying with the words I just said to which I just smiled back onto him in response. “So we are finally heading into Moon Kingdom. Wonder what we will find there instead.” Started Kyro, “We would find the usual things there.” Responded Natty, a smirk plastered upon her face as Kyro stared at her for a moment, then shook his head. “Lets go.” I demanded, spreading my wings. Everyone else had done so too and we took off together as one. Flying in midnight, heading Northward towards the kingdom of the Moon.

Upon arriving onto the North, we landed upon the entrance door of the Moon kingdom. Where our wings were folded behind us while Ozkun stepped forth in between me, Kyro and Zander and in front of the door before him. He repeated the same gesture as the one from the door within the building and the door unlocked by itself allowing us to entered right inside. We all entered into the pure darkness that had awaits for us inside. There was nothing to see however for the darkness had covered everything away. All we could see were the huge stairs in front of us that leads towards the second floor above us. There were four other doors too; but only two were available from the get go however. Both of which were upon our sides; leading into the living room and kitchen respectively. Immediately as I turned around to face everyone; Kyro, Natty, Zander and Ozkun takes to their partners and headed down towards the left and right doors on either of me. Leaving me alone with Takari as she stared me down for a moment. I groaned; a bit disappointed. But remained upright after as my attention was drawn towards her.

“Guess we head upstairs then?” She questioned me, “I just do not understand why we are getting the clues and not them however.” I asked mostly towards myself as she find herself giggling for some reason. We turned towards the stairs in front of us; climbing it towards the second floor where we had stopped upon the entrance of the second floor. I stared it down; looking towards the thousands of doors and walls that were on either side of us. All of which were locked, preventing us from even entering into them. As we looked out through the hallway, I made a face and Takakri just moved on otherwise. She takes a few steps forward, her eyes up front into the horizon in front of her. Removing herself from my line while I just trailed behind her. We walked in a straight line. Watching as the doors besides us disappear or faded from our sights while we walked on. There was a long trail of silence between us; something that I had grown used to for a while. The ringing echoing in our ears suddenly with the silence looming now over us however.

The hallways were empty and clean somehow as if some sort of butler had came in and started cleaning the entire place up for visitors to arrived upon. ‘Did he anticipated us arriving at all?’ I pondered, that lingering thought kept upon me in silence. Takakri, on the other claw, stopped rather immediately which caused me to hit onto her backside. She gasped just a bit, taking a forceful step forward before glaring down onto me. I met her eyes, saying nothing in response while she just turned her head around. Staring at something that was before us. “Look over there.” She started to say after a few minutes of silence between us, I followed her pointy claw. Straight to the flooring beneath us where I had noticed a door opened. I blinked suddenly and waltz my way forth to it. Grabbing onto the knob and pulled it back further before exposing my head inside the room a bit.

A gentle breeze washed over my head; making me shiver suddenly while Takakri stepped behind me. Reached out onto my shoulder and growled lightly, “What you find there?” “The place looked empty. Yet the bed looked messy. I think there is something on the surface of it.” “A rather rapid and frantic way however?” She questioned, I never answered her. For immediately, I entered right onto in. Takari followed me from behind. As we spilled out through the room, I crept closer towards the beddings and grabbed onto the edges of the blanket, pulling it towards the side. Exposing whatever was there in front of me however. At front upon the surface of the bed; was a couple of items. A knife, some vibrator wand and organs about. I grabbed onto the organ and squeeze it a bit. Noting that it just gave off a squeaking noise instead. With Takari blinking for a moment, huffing before turning herself around and out the door, she muffled something that I never heard while I examine the items that were upon the bed. Before raising myself upright, turned towards the closed door and exhaled a breath.

For onto that moment, I fixed my attention towards the surrounding room. THen grabbed onto my walkie suddenly, speaking into it “Ling here; what have you guys found?” “Found anything yet at the second floor?” Questioned Zander, “There were a couple of items inside the bedroom. Some sex toys apparently.” I answered, “The living room had some out of place items. Someone had entered into it without knocking to the front door.” Ozkun responded, “Same here.” Stated Kyro. “What about the kitchen?” “That was the kitchen.” Kyro answered me, I blinked for a moment. Then facepalm in response as an exhale of a sigh came before I said, “Continue searching through the kitchen, Kyro. There might be something there.” “What can I find then?” Kyro asked, but I never gave an answer anyway. In the following silence, I find myself staring back onto the white door in front of me. It was closed remembering recently that Takari had left immediately. As an exhale of a breath had came, I just shook my head. Returning my sight back towards the bed behind me. Towards the items that were laid out there.

By the dawn, we all gathered in the kitchen. The sunlight had penetrated through the windows that surrounded the kitchen room. No one had said anything as all eyes were turned towards Kyro in silence. He, in turn, shift his attention toward us before turning himself around. With a claw raised adjacently to his head, he motioned to us as we tailed behind him in silence. For we walked the distance towards the white door that stands between the kitchen and the other locked room onto our left side. Kyro pointed to it and Zander stepped onto the door. Grabbing onto the knob, twisting it to the side and opened the door, revealing whatever was within. A staircase that led downstairs into another room that had no lights within. The placed had looked cold with everything frozen apparently. My eyes stared at the staircase below us before I glance towards Kyro who silently nodded.

For one by one, we entered through the door. The stairs creaked underneath our weight that we had feared something will give in beneath us. Throwing down into the void that had awaits for us. But surprisingly, the stairs were held on even with Kyro’s heavy weight however. As in the end, we all gathered at the basement room. Scanning our surroundings; quickly noticing how the place looked dimmed and dull; not something exciting to look at however while I find myself frowning. The room was bigger than I had suspected. Four brown tables sit adjacently to the walls surrounding us. Windows were above them; shut closed for some strange reason. I walked forth towards the center of the room. My eyes peering upon one table onto my right; then towards the middle and lastly to the left table. All four tables had something upon their surfaces. Glasses with strange colorful liquid upon them, a bunch of papers stacked neatly onto the edges of each of the tables. A single pen settling adjacently to them. But as I scanned upon the tables again, something caught my eye. Something that was rather interesting to say the least.

For as I walked forward, catching the attention of the officers in my unit behind me, I snatched onto a circular disk which I unfolded my claw to reveal. It was a complex disk; something that I had never saw before in my life. But when I curiously pressed onto the surface of the disk; it glowed bright blue and hotter that it had burned in my claws. I yelp in response and dropped the disk as it fell upon the grounds beneath me. It never shattered; rather, that bright blue glow shot forward. Hitting the wall in front of us and revealed something there. SOmething that was rather familiar to our own home somehow.

Where beautiful of grasses and trees filled the portal in front of us, a castle fuzzed upon the backgrounds behind everything and something flying and someone roaring in the closest of distance, we instantly knew what this was. Yet somehow, we could not believe ourselves.

‘For this was the place of our old hometown: The forgotten Dragon realms.’

Venturing: Easing Vezorations

We were all shock by the news. None of us could really believe it at all however. Yet the proof was right there. Right in front of us. Kyro and Natty frowned; although the dragoness did growl angrily at one point however. Zander was clenching his paws, inward and outward as if he had some sort of beef with whomever that had committed this. In the meanwhile, I just find myself staring at the television for a moment then shake my head honestly before silencing the quietness that was around the room. “I bet you that werewolf did this.” “The werewolf? From canine? Why would he do such a thing?” Question Kyro angrily, glancing my way as I defended myself from him. “Think about it. He is a werewolf after all; one of the species that never exist in the realm world.” “Duh.” Responded Zander, hitting me upon the side which I winced and glance towards him as he had added, “So are we, Ling. Did you forget that dragons also do not exist in the real world too?” I said nothing after that point.

With ourselves caught up upon the news easily, each of us had rose to our feet. Started for the front door upon us and suddenly exited out without hesitation. They all had left me behind, sitting upon the sofa as I just stare upon the screen in silence, with no regard of what was coming up afterwards. For my mind was pondering about something else. Something that had caught my attention when conversing with Zander and the other dragons in my unit as well. Yet upon this, I just shake my head in silence and rose to my feet last. Just as I turned around to head towards the kitchen behind me, to get some sort of midnight breakfast out of the way, the walkie sprung to life and reported about a case that had sudden came up. Upon that response, I snatched upon the walkie. Quick and silence that the walkie itself had no chance to response at all, I pressed the black button onto the side of the walkie. Responding to the words gave before I lowered the walkie down. For I gave an exhale of a sigh before shaking my head, turned around and walked off from the kitchen. Towards the front door where the door was already opened.

The outside breeze washed over me as I take a deep breath, exhaling through my nose upon the crispy air that had surrounded me. I smiled only faintly before spreading my wings and take towards the sudden air above. Rejoining to the other three dragons that were awaiting for me above. Kyro, Natty and Zander smiled when they spotted me upon the midnight air. Waving while I approached them, thus calling out to them “What did Yang wanted this time?” “Some sort of mission related to Virkaol Forest. The same upon the news that we had saw that evening.” “Why there?” Kyro questioned Zander who rose his shoulders and stated nothing else. I growled at them to silence their snouts and take the lead as I flapped my wings; Kyro, Natty and Zander done the same while we flew Northward towards the station where Yang would be waiting for us.

It was already a quarter after midnight by the time we had arrived upon the station where we all dropped from the airs above, towards the grounds below us. When we had landed, Kyro and Natty were the first to push through my line and entered upon the station. Thereby disappearing inside which had left me with Zander. I growled after them. Yet it had seem that they were ignoring me anyway. As Zander tapped onto my shoulder which had forced me to look his way, he gave a nod. I mirrored him before we entered right through the doors. Disappearing from the streets behind us as a cold refreshing air washed over upon.

It was already an hour from midnight when everyone was gathered upon the rooftops of the station. Me, Kyro, Natty, Zander, Ozkun and Takaki were all here. Gathered upon a circle, all eyes upon me apparently as I gave an exhale of a sigh before responding towards them. For with no hesitation whatsoever, I suddenly gave everyone their assigned roles to deal with anyway. Kyro, Natty and Zander were to investigate the REC headquarters, searching for this document and the brief case that was later found there. The trio of dragons gave a nod; departing from us to head westward where we had believed was where that headquarters was to begin with. With that out of the way, I turned towards the remaining officers left with me. “The rest of you would be joining me into investigating Virkoal Forest instead. We are to find something there.” “Something interesting?” Questioned Takaki which Ozkun shake his head, nudging the dragoness in silence with a growl “No.” “Regardless, follow me instead.” I stated, spreading my own wings with the two mirroring me instead.

We flew Southward. Bypassing the white gates of Vastertown and returned to the plains once again. Where the air was a bit warmer than usual than upon our hometown however. Something that had surprise me in the end. Shaking my head to rid of any other thoughts, I focused my attention upon the forest in front of us just as it had grew bigger before our eyes. Only Ozkun whistled and smiled faintly while Takaki opposed him and stated nothing. Though her heart was pounding in her chest for a bit, pondering about the dead animals that were once living here instead. When we closed in onto the forest, I gave a signal towards the other two dragons which they gave a nod towards me. They tucked their wings closer towards their bodies, nosediving to the grounds below them where their legs were shot out. Like an airplane, they had skidded to a halt. Although black marks remained upon the grounds behind them as I followed them in turn.

Once each of us had landed; we all turned our attention towards the forest in front of us where I gave a sigh and closed my eyes. Stilling my heart upon the silence as we walked forward in union and towards the entrance in front of us. For at once when we were upon the interior of the darkness forest, our eyes grew wide and mouth remained opened. Shocked and surprise by what transpired before us however. A dead sea of canines; foxes, coyotes and wolves spread amongst our vision whereas the blood was sprayed upon the grounds, walls and the tree trunks adjacent to themselves. Not one had a colorful of green. “This is cruel.” Commented Takakri with her claws held to her snout, taking in the silence while me and Ozkun walked forward in union, walking up towards the first fox in victim before us. “Think now a werewolf did this?” Responded Ozkun, shifting his visions towards me. Something that I just growl at him without hesitation, denying the fact that he was right after all. For the marks of the claws that tear the fox and mostly everyone here apart were not of the werewolf however. Rather, it was something else.

For the marks of the claws were thinner and deeper than the canines’ claws and marks. Additionally, were a bit bigger than that werewolf’s as well however. I only find myself growling. Something that was stopped when I felt a touch upon my shoulder where I turned my attention towards the source, respotting Ozkun who gave a smile towards me. I just nodded and rose myself up towards my feet then called towards Takari who walked up behind me. “Gather all the canines. Find this note upon them. We are getting ourselves out of here, regardless of what anyone else says.” A nod came from both and upon the silence, we took to work and gathered all the canines about in hopes of finding this note. Something that never taken a while however when Takakir had found one, followed by Ozkun afterwards. For both of which had called out towards me and I turned towards them in response. They each held a piece of paper up above their heads, a big smile appearing upon their faces as they had ran up towards me. I turned to the papers for a moment; a bit surprise upon seeing that each of them were blank to begin with. But I jus shake my head at the possibility that they would hold something secret within themselves. Shaking a secret once dipped upon a secret ink that me and yang had crafted before this story.

Thus in the following silence, I gave a nod towards them before returning to the task at hand. Takakri and Ozkun stuff the papers upon their pockets of the uniform that they were wearing and ran off to find some more bodies and notes to begin with. There was an appealing of silence hovering above me; the sounds of ringing echoing in my ears while my mind conjured up some words and hints that were related to the hidden blank papers we had found upon the canines that were scattered here. I suddenly shift my attention back towards the pile of canines behind me just as I had turned around, exposing my back towards them. I had also wondered how these canines were murdered. If not the werewolf. I growled shortly and frowned, only grunting before returning my attention back towards the horizon. Just as the pair of dragons in front of me were returning to me with bodies carried upon their shoulders and back. For at this time, our walkies had suddenly became static. I held up a claw towards the two, they suddenly stopped and glance towards me while I grabbed onto the walkie that was upon my chest. Clicking twice, gave the report from Zander however.

“Yang is right. We had found a brief case and some documents here. Yet the entire place was empty and burned off.” “There is a fireplace there right?” I questioned, despite stating the obvious however. Zander responded with “Afformative.” Before continuing where he had left off, “Anyway, we are thereby returning to Vaster. How are things onto your end?” “Things are doing fine here.” I responded, motioning my claw towards the other two as they returned to their duties once more, “We found a pile of canines scattered around Virkoal Forest. The news were right however. Yet the perpetrator is not found amongst here. Does this have any connect with your end of the case?” “Who really knows upon this point.” Responded Zander, stating nothing more with the tailend of our conversation to silence. I gave a sigh and closed my eyes before nodding, “Alright.” “Alright.” Zander mirrored me, then true silence had came. I suddenly turned towards the two dragons that were working onto the pile adjacent to me. It was a bit bitter than usual as I had pondered about the event that would attract such a thing. Recalling about a flyers that was hanging around Vaster nearby of Canine realm, that was when it hit me. For with a contact of my claws, I responded upon the silence surrounding me just as Takaki and Ozkun reemerged upon my visions.

“That is it!” I say towards the two as they looked towards me in silence, further prompting me to clarify what I had meant after all. I had explained about the event that the Hunter’s pack were hosting upon Virkoal Forest. Inviting everyone from both canine and reptile however that would lead them straight into death here. For onto this noticed; the two nodded their heads. Agreeing with the statement that I had proposed to them. Yet I was unconvinced upon both their statements and wondering who amongst the canines were invited that caused all this? So without hesitation, I pressed upon the black button again onto the side of the walkie. Pressed it against my lips after raising it to my head and spoke through the microphone afterwards. “Yang, can you give me a list of names that were invited into this celebration of a party?” “Where are you at first of a-“ “In Virkaol Forest.” I responded, interrupting her suddenly. A few moments later of typing onto the computer and humming softly towards herself later had returned towards me again and responded, “Seems that they were a wolf amongst them that was not part of the intertwine realm in general.” “A wolf?” I questioned, Yang clarified further “A snow wolf. From the artics. Far from Virkoal Forest. Onto the opposing side of Vaster.” “Upper North. You mean.” I corrected her and simplified it at best I can. She correctly responded me. Then hanged up so suddenly afterwards.

With a click, I exhaled a breath. The two dragons listening close started speaking up which had startled me just as I had turned to face them however. With eyes narrowed upon their own faces; Ozkun just smiled faintly. But remained silent while Takaki spoke out upon the silence looming over us. “So a wolf from the artics. Upper North had murdered everyone.” “That is the case.” I started without hesitation, nodding my head in clarification towards the dragoness who smiled afterwards and spread her wings. “Then lets go after hi- Ack!” She started, but was held down by Ozkun who grabbed onto her wings with his claws, snarling as it had vibrated them. She shivered in response; I blushed before walking up towards them and halting this intimate session between them however. Just as I had closed my eyes snarling at them, I spoke “We still have unclear variables involved upon this massacre however. We do not know if the canine in question had any support in the manner. Furthermore, was REC informed of this which is why they had deserted their base, west from Vaster?”

“Who cares!” Screamed Takakri snarling Ozkun and then at me, “Let go kick some tail!” “You mean ‘kick some wolf butt’ “ “Same difference.” Responded Takarki towards Ozkun and I shake my head in response, saying nothing in turn upon this exchangement. As I left them to their own devices, I pressed the black button again twice and Yang came back upon the walkie once more. “Where are the first group? Had they arrived upon the station safely? What about the investigation then?” “They are fine right now, Ling.” Yang responded calming me down for a moment as a breath came from my snout. I responded to Yang immediately and she responded to my second question as of the moment. “They are currently out at the front door of the station. Awaiting for the second group so it had seemed.” “Had they gave a report about the vacant of REC?” “Alright did apparently.” “Which is?” I prompted which Yang gave silence about. I blinked for a few moment in time before exclaiming outloud that had stopped the teasing and flirting between Takakri and Ozkun, “Do not tell me that they are captured? Were you lying that they were at the-” “Calm down.” Responded Natty suddenly, interrupting our conversation with a disdain and annoyed of irritation upon her voice. “We are here, idiot. Do not think that we had gotten ourselves captured for anything.” “Guess that means we had to go then huh?” I questioned. The silence answered me that question already.

An exhale of a breathe had came, vibrating the surface of the speaker just as I had opened my eyes afterwards.. For at once the last body of canine had been rounded up upon the pile behind me, Ozkun and Takaki slapped their claws together. Removing all the dust that were upon them and turned their heads towards me where I circled my claw into the air, adjacent to my head at them. They gave a nod, spread their wings and flew off back towards north. I watched them go for a moment before breaking into a smile afterwards. At upon a smile, I spread my own and take towards the skies instead. Flying high into the dawn’s light where the sun shine dimly behind me. For it peak from the horizon behind us, warming our bodies suddenly of the cold dead winters that loomed over us. Something that had made any of us warmer suddenly. As my attention was drawn towards the horizon in front of us, I had noticed Vaster approaching closer. Coming up upon the horizon before my eyes. Cheers came from Ozkun and Takaki, both of which held their claws into the air for some strange reason. Closing their eyes and speaking something that was underneath their own scouts. I just shook my own head as we continued to fly off Northward. Straight towards our station which was at the heart of the town.

Landing where we had met up with the other dragons as well. Zander and I hugged for a moment as if we had not seen each other for a while despite it being only thirty minutes or so into the case however. Natty and Kyro rolled their eyes, exhaling a breath while Takaki and Ozkun laughed it off. Stating nothing for a while as their attention was drawn away from us. Thus we had turned our attention towards the doors in front of us of which Natty allowed us inward. With the fresh breath of air pouring down from the ceiling above, I take a breath and closed my eyes. Reshuffling my wings which was taken notice by Kyro Natty and Zander as each of them had given off different responses. Ozkun and Takaki stayed silent watching us; then towards one another before shrugging as we returned into the main office where Yang was now located.

The entire room was redesigned. All of the brown desk in front of us were shuffle towards the dead center of the room. Yang was sitting upon the midnight of the circle; her claws folded inward and leaned forward. Wings curled on either side of her which the rest of us stopped our talking and conversation and suddenly turned towards Yang in silence. A long silence fell between us with Yang narrowing her eyes at me, then towards Kyro, Zander and Natty. All of which stepped forward, gave a gulp which was swallowed down onto their stomachs before spreading out upon the circle surrounding us, taking their seats. For upon Zander was last seated, Yang responded to the silence around us. Mainly me perhaps.

“Now then. Ling, Ozkun and Takakri. If I were to have your attention up here please.” “What is this all about however?” Ozkun questioned, taking a step forward glaring at Yang as I find myself staring at her in response. She slammed the desk in front of herself, silencing Ozkun for a moment as he stepped back into line once more. Yang’s attention was drawn towards me, I sealed my mouth in front of her. Unable to say anything at the moment’s time while the silence loomed over me. I just blinked my eyes suddenly and shake my head; “This meeting will start now. Natty, Kyro and Zander?”

The three dragons in question rose to their feet; silence was upon their lips. Their eyes pointing towards the flooring below them while each of them pointing towards the ceiiling above us and only Kyro responded, “REC is behind this. The documents stated about it however.” “Have you already place it upon invisible ink?” Questioned Ozkun, something that was shot in the dark. Yet Kyro stayed silent, shaking his head later afterwards as I exhaled a breath, “Ozkun is right. You cannot guess it legit. You need the facts. This is just a guess. I thought you are better than that however.” “Regardless of which, the werewolf is that problem.” I turned towards Yang. She looked a me carefully; noting about the comment that I had stated beforehand at the beginning of this story and case however. The only gasps had came from Zander, Kyro and Natty of which I gave my defense towards Yang suddenly.

“It make sense that he would be the one however. Considering that he is the only werewolf within Canine. The rest of them were just canines: Foxes, Wolves and Coyotoes. Yet with the foxes being out of the picture and at the same time; the werewolf joining Canine just as an attack from upper North had came. Furthermore-“ “This is not the topic of question.” Yang interrupted me, a cold stone voice hit my ears which I nodded my head silently at her; for she exhaled a breath and leaned back against her chair before responding outward towards the silence surrounding us, “But Ling here does make a point however. Considering about the werewolf; he did join in just as a battle was erupting within the streets of Canine. Hunter’s pack and Hourans had hoped in to dispelled the knights from attacking the canines. Then the werewolf showed up. Yet we had not seen REC ever during that time.”

“For the only time that they had showed up was the massacre of Virkoal Forest” Natty pointed out, raising to her feet while she pointed towards me or was it Zander and Kyro onto the other side? I cannot take as I turned towards Natty in response, frowning before responding “Was it because of the document and the empty case that was found there?” At her nod, Ozkun questioned her suddenly “What if it was WWA that set REC up? Because of their distrust of one another?” “Distrust?” A collective response had came, shocking mostly everyone including myself. Yet Takakri smiled only faintly nodding at Ozkun who responded back and resumed towards the wider audience, “Yeah. Like something bad had happened between them which had caused REC to work with the werewolf to put the blame onto WWA.” “But there are no-“ Protest Yang which I held my claw out at her. Upon which she just glared at me but I just rolled my claw forward to Ozkun who continued,

“Which was the reason why we got two cases from Yang. One from Virkoal Forest. The other investigation of REC’s abandoned hideout. Were these two an direct attack towards the whole WWA? What were they trying to achieve with them?” “It is all good questions.” Commented Yang after a long pause of silence to which we all turned towards her while she gave a smile towards the rest of us and rose up to her feet. “Meeting is adjourned. I am hungry.” “We could go to a nearby restaurant and eat there. Continuing this conversation afterwards.” Suggested Kyro and a cheer of unknown noises had came of which we all pour out from the main room and towards the frontal desk. However, I stopped midway for something interesting had popped upon my own vision. Upon the corner of my eye, I spotted a piece of paper. Onto it were something written however. I drawn close towards it; taking a short look before I hear someone calling out towards me. “Coming!” I exclaimed, taking one last look onto the piece of paper before departing.

For out the door, we all flew west to find a restaurant to eat at.

Venturing: For Chance

The midnight had came. But we found ourselves on the outskirts of Vaster. Looking southward towards the forest behind us where we had feared it had became empty all of the sudden. I exhaled a breath and said nothing, with my eyes closing all of the sudden. Adjacent to me were Kyro and Zander; standing with their arms crossed and wings were spread. Staring at the same direction forward, looking to the forest before of them. Murjur, Ozkun were a bit impatient, on the other claw however. The two were just sitting in front of us, staring at one another in the following silence. Neither of them talking while the ringing loomed overhead of us. Another sigh had came from my snout with my eyes closed then opened once more which Kyro responded to me suddenly.

“You should really stop that actually.” “And why should I however?” I questioned the red dragon, for he had stated nothing at all. Yet his eyes were onto me and he gazed away, shaking his head. I only smiled a bit. But stated nothing in claw before responding towards Zander adjacent to me whom had uncrossed his arms and turned his head over to me. “Can you radio in Yang and see what she is doing at the time. We must know the details of Virkoal Forest before us.” “Just so that he can be with those insane wolves.” Commented Kyro who was smacked over the head by Natty whom growled angrily. At the following sound that Kyro had erupted from his throat suddenly, Zander gave a nod. Smiled to the red dragon before departing away from us. Just to radioed in onto Yang, just as I had requested him to do.

I raised my eyes towards the dark skies above. Staring down onto the bleakness before me where not one star was shone amongst the dark sea then. Only the moon hangs, but that was cut in half for some strange reason as if some sort of space mouse had used a gigantic knife and started cutting the moon into halves creating what was known upon the dark skies. I stared for a moment before turning around, spotting Zander coming back into position with his claws behind him as his eyes met upon mine suddenly, “We got the case.” “Guess that means we are allowed to head over there.” I heard Ozkun responded, Natty nodded her head approvingly but stated nothing else in contribute to the conversation at hand. I gave my own nod towards them; before walking over to Zander. Questioning and pressuring him about the details of the case we were given, along with the set of clues that we were suppose to fine. At this, Zander just frowned. Shake his head and responded, “It is not all that Ling. No clues. No details. She just stated that the clues themselves were obvious to the point that we should be able to see it however.”

“ ‘See it’? “ I questioned him, the black dragon gave a nod and a following smile afterwards before becoming silence then while his eyes returned to the horizon before him. Another sigh came from my throat before I mutter something underneath my breath before turning around and spoke towards the other dragons surrounding me, “We got the green light to head towards Virkoal Forest. However.” Ozkun and Murjur cheered. Kyro and Natty frowned suddenly; but remained silent as their eyes were laid onto me. “No clues and details of the case. Yang stated ‘it is obvious to find.’ “ “So I guess everyone must split up and find it altogether now.” Commented Zander without even looking my way and I glance towards him. He just smiled awkwardly, but became silent following it before he, Kyro, Natty spread their wings and take off. Following them came me, Ozkun and Murjur as we all headed towards Virkoal Forest.

Upon our arrival, we were surprise upon seeing a series of gusts winds blowing through our hard scales. Only Ozkun and Murjur shivered so suddenly while the rest of us just stare upon the entrance in front of us. As no one had commented at the time and the silence loomed overhead, Zander, Kyro and Natty shift their attention towards me whereas I gave a nod acknowledging them before we went into our normality of groups. Kyro with Natty and I together with Zander. Thus it had created three groups amongst the six in the squad while I threw my paw out in front of me, giving the signal towards the other two teams. For immediately, they had entered in. Disappearing out of my sight as I find myself staring at the entrance of the forest, pondering about the clues that we should be looking for. Yet Zander had interrupted my thoughts whereas I turned towards him, he gave a nod before heading straight into the forest and I followed him afterwards.

I did not know what else to suspect when we had entered into the dark fields of the forest. But everything here was pitch dark. Impossible to see anything about other than what was a vision length of your own arm. I gave a frown, realizing this before shifting my attention towards Zander who was following up right behind me. For his eyes met up with mine and I gave a exhale of a sigh before returning my sights back up front. Towards the horizon, we had decided to head a bit towards the west. Straight towards the beach. Here, we had noticed how the seas were shoring up upon the lands. Moistening and damping it as best they had could. Pale sands stretched far than I could see, straight towards the horizon in front of me. There were a few palm trees in place somewhere while a brown hut stands at the spot upon the sands. Isolated and alone, it had indeed looked a bit abandoned. I pointed to the cabin, Zander gave a nod. Following me through the fields of sands, straight to the cabin at front where we had entered in automatically and without hesitation.

For when we had entered, we were welcomed with warmth air surrounding us. Zander shivered on instinct but gave nothing else as his eyes reopened again. I turned towards him, then away for the next second. Shifting my attention towards the surrounding around us as I had noticed how well organized the place was. Everything was in order; books in the shelves. The brown desks cleaned of dusts and molds about. The windows were cleaned, giving off that strong reflection from the outside whenever one of us even take a look outside. Zander immediately takes towards the right of the cabin; fell his eyes upon something that had interested him immediately that he forced his throat to vibrate while he called out towards me. I flinched and turned towards him; just as he found himself unknowingly motioning forth towards me and suddenly too. With a tilt of my own head, I walked up towards him. Standing side by side as we turned our attention towards the piece of paper in front of us.

It was the detail of the forest. But somehow it is cut into two. One side was colored red; the opposite green. There were purple colors lines coming out from those two lands. Squares came up after the lines, written upon them were these simple words: ‘Green = good; red = bad.’ or in our terms, its ‘green is friendly, red is enemy.’ “I wonder what that means.” I heard Zander questioned, mostly towards himself while I turned to him in silence. Not saying a word but to study his own face. For he was quiet in the next ten seconds or so before he faced me and questioned. I responded simply and he gave a nod as an answer before immediately departing from my side. For his attention was elsewhere perhaps. I kept my attention towards the map in front of me; I blinked several times before finally closing my eyes and then reopened afterwards. As another sigh had came from my snout, I fixed my attention towards the left, gazing to where Zander was. Standing adjacently to the pale tables as he was looking down onto them, staring at the different and unique equipments that were there.

“Come on already.” I called out to him whereas he flinched and shift his attention towards me before giving off a nod. As he and I walked out of the cabin altogether, we ended up upon the sands once more whereas the moonlight’s rays shone upon the darkened sands beneath, brightening them up upon the silence of the night before us. “So how should we explain this to the others then?” Zander questioned me which I turned towards him and frowned momentarily. Before I could respond to him, Zander already had out his walkie at the time and pressed the button several times in code before setting it to where he had first found it. I find myself staring at him for a moment, before questioning him of what he had done. However, Zander just ignored me and fell to silence before walking off through the sands. Yet his attention was towards the sea now. I grabbed onto him quickly and pulled him out before the waters could reach the shores and we both lands onto the sands afterwards.

As Zander shook his head and just about to question me, the walkie came to life. Static at first, before Natty’s voice had came into the picture. “What the heck did you just gave to us?” “Simple words into morse code. What else?” Started Zander as he pressed into the button, speaking through the walkie before releasing it altogether. I exhaled and shake my head, casting my eyes towards somewhere else. Staring at the palm trees for example while I waited the heated argument stop for a moment. The conversation continued for a while before I heard Natty stopped immediately; for something else had take a hold of her walkie suddenly. This had made me flinched and returned to the reality at hand before me. While my attention was fully upon the walkie, I did hear Kyro spoke through the walkie. Something identical to what I was saying or Zander stated through the walkie earlier. “You mean something identical with the code right?” Zander clarified for Kyro who looked frustrated with the black dragon suddenly. But responded patiently to him, “Yeah.” “Well what is it then?” I questioned, popping into the conversation suddenly which had startled both dragons at once.

With Zander look to me, Natty laughing suddenly, Kyro gave a tired sigh before relaying the information towards us. “There is a set of documents that relate to the code that you have gave to us. It details about the locations of each friendly and enemy at the time being.” “As well as alliances and coalitions right?” Zander asked to which Kyro fell silent, denying what Zander was stating otherwise. In response, he just frowned but I prompted the red dragon to continue which he did as he resumed what he was saying “At time of our arrival; the forest is split into two. Yet there was no reason stating why. It just is all of the sudden. Red or enemy as you have stated, comes to the right side of the forest. The green or friendly, are on the left side of the forest. This is perhaps the majority of the population alignment so far. But there was no statement specifically on whose side of what?” “Yeah. All we got was vague answers. But more questions.” I frowned commenting on Kyro’s point, “I just hope that the dragoness were able to find something to tie all of this together.” Zander commented but no one look towards him.

There was another silence and another growl that came from the walkie which had startled both me and Zander suddenly that we had returned to the walkie in front of us. With Zander pressing the button, I immediately called towards Kyro “What is wrong?” “I think I figured it out however. Although I am not sure about this. It does seem a bit far fetched the more that I think about it.” “Well?” Zander questioned the dragon who responded to both of us, “Natty thinks that the two groups are key bearers. For something that is related to the canines disappearing and fading from canine realm.” “It does make sense and seems a bit farfetched however too, now that i think about it.” I commented, adding “But Virkoal Forest and canine are one and all species. So it does make sense for them to come here. The remaining I mean however.” “That is the part that I do not get.” Kyro said to me, “Why would they come here? Was there something in Canine that had caused them to desert the place altogether, relocate to here instead?” “Think about it for a moment.” I started “Me and Zander will find the keys.” “Ozkun and Murjur are already doing the red keys.” Kyro stated which gave me a nod in acknowledgment, but a silence towards the red dragon however.

Just as I had hanged up, Zander kept his eye towards me and I smiled only faintly towards him before responding, relaying the information and order that came from the red dragon. “Guess we are finding the green keys then.” Zander started with me nodding after him as we had fell silent of a pause before Zander picked it up again and questioned, “How did Ozkun and Murjur get dibs on the red keys?” “I am guessing that they are a bit hard to gather.” “hard? How hard?” Zander frowned at me, I shrugged and said nothing while we just continued looking for keys and canines about. I first search takes us back towards the cabin and the beach too. The waters seem calmer than when we had first arrived; which perhaps is a good thing however considering that we had to avoid the sea waters momentarily because of where the cabin was located at the time being. We arrived into the cabin quickly and immediately entered right on in. Returning to that familiar smell that hovered over us, we went right to work on searching for the green key.

We tried searching the tables in front of us. Then towards the brown walls and the hanged animals that were nailed there. But nothing was to be found. For just as we had given us, I heard Zander responded through the silence that had caused me to turn around and look, spotting Zander with three green keys. “Found them!” “Where?” I questioned him immediately and he pointed towards where their hiding spot was. I came to his side suddenly and lowered my head; gazing to where he was pointing at however. Whereas I had quickly noticed about a brown box in front of us; opened already too with its brown flaps out and folded backwards. Within the box was a photo; ribbon and some documentation. But my initial attention was towards the photo in question. I grabbed it, raising it towards my head and watched for a moment. Zander gave a concern look to me, but dared not to question it otherwise while I spoke towards him a few seconds afterwards within the silence “This looks like the picture of two canines together; arms out towards one another’s shoulders. Smiles all around it had seemed. Ears out and pointy above; with smiles glued upon their snouts. Both their eyes were directly towards me or perhaps to the camera in question. While I cannot help but wonder about the two canines in front of me, I immediately place it into the box and frowned for a moment.

“ I wonder if the two canines in question are wolves.” I thought before departing it and nodded to Zander who said nothing but to walk out the door and me following right behind him. “We found three keys within the cabin, Kyro.” I started without hesitation while a response static had came, Kyro’s voice came through that and responded “Alright. Where should we meet then, Ling?” “Center of the forest.” I started without pondering at all so suddenly. For a response of a quietness had came shortly afterwards to which I questioned the red dragon suddenly; but nothing had came forth. For upon this, I shift my attention towards Zander who rose his shoulder suddenly. Spreading his wings, I followed him as we started forth the intended destination.

Within a minute, we had arrived. Whereas we had landed first upon the soft grounds beneath us, I exhaled a sigh while we folded our wings and glance around upon the surrounding around us. For there was nothing but silence then. The quietness of the atmosphere caused some ringing in our ears as Zander gave a growl before glancing his attention towards me. Yet I held my paw towards him and he stopped immediately before looking at me for a moment, then ground his fangs together and narrowed his eyes. Shortly before Kyro and Natty had arrived. Following them came Ozkun and Murjur. I turned my attention towards the pair of dragons in front of me and towards the left just as they had landed upon the soft grounds beneath themselves. With all eyes raised and pointing towards me, I gradually nodded and motioned a claw towards Zander whom stepped forth. Ozkun came up following the black dragon and unveiled their claws, revealing the red and green keys that we had needed all this time.

“Looks like you guys had found it.” Responded Kyro with a smile; his paws clapped together before adding in the conversation after “Now, we should find something that would insert those keys inside.” “There is a spot within this area that we could do.” I responded without hesitation which cause the red dragon to shift his attention to me, a silent nod had came from him. “Alright. Lead the way, Ling.” He started and of course I did however. For I moved towards the leftmost of the area that we were upon; heading towards a cavern that holds that bear. Immediately stopping, I turned towards the right and raised my claw high before responding, “Right before we had arrived upon the cabin. I had noticed something gray at the corner of my eye. Yet I cannot go towards it because Zander insisted of heading into the cabin, left side of the forest.” “Have not noticed this here however.” Commented Kyro with a faint smile while Natty frowned for a moment before shifting her attention to me and asked, “You sure that is it? Seems like an awful place to hide out upon.” “Well noticed how Virkoal forest was abandoned and seems very empty at the time.” I said, defending the stone. As I talked, we walked up towards it with both Zander and Murjur inserting the keys inside.

For the stone rumbled suddenly; the ground shook underneath us. We all held onto our grounds yet some of us fell upon while the grounds stopped shaking and we turned our attention towards the stone in front of us. The stone had moved a bit backwards; only for a few more inches so it had seemed. But beneath us and in front of the stone stands a stairs that descends into the pitch darkness below us. I only smiled faintly before responding to everyone else “This will reveal our answers to the questions that we have upon our minds.” “I just hope that you are right.” Muttered Zander as two by two we entered into the stairs, descending down until we met up with the cold grounds underneath our heels.

We ended up hitting the cold grounds beneath our own feet. Zander and Kyro shivered upon the contact; yet Ozkun and Murjur kept their eyes ahead. Staring at the brown door that was before them. I looked to their direction, noticing that it was opened. I frowned but kept my claw stretched out upon the fronts of my coworkers as they had stopped immedinately. Only Kyro shift his attention towards me. “Yang. The door is opened; whomever is within had submerged out.” “Find out where that figure is. It needs to be away from the canines.” “But not ours?” Questioned Kyro, a hesitate that came with a voice as his eyes darted to me then towards the walkie for a moment. An exhale had came from the static walkie before Yang responded after a short while, “This guy will not target ours. For some strange reason, it seems to be after them instead.” “All the more reason to uphold our treaty and pact with them.” I commented to Yang who exhaled again before giving an affirmative answer to me. For with that, the walkie became silent. Our eyes turned towards the opened black door before us, before we had departed again. Back towards the surface.

Yet a million of questions popped upon my mind after the short conversation with Yang. The majority of it were related to the creature and why the target to canines only. ‘How did Yang knew this too?’ I always wondered too while eyes of my coworkers turned towards me in silence, awaiting for their next order. But because it had taken a while within the silence and of their impatience, I felt someone grabbed onto my shoulder and rock me of which I had snapped out of it suddenly. Thus I turned my attention towards Zander whose eyes were narrowed upon me. Everyone else was sporting different expressional faces and I just exhaled a breath before giving of a nod towards them.

“Alright. We head straight into canine. Find out what this creature is that everyone is so afraid of and depose of it immedinately.”

“let just hope it is not ugly.” Kyro muttered

“or beautiful” Natty commented

“Or smart- Ow Murjur!” Ozkun cried after being hit by the dragoness who snorted flames from her nose before crossing her arms and gaze away.

Zander and I just laughed promptly before we all moved onto our next mission of the canine.

Venturing: Loss Amusement

We stand in front of the park. Staring towards the entrance of it whereas it was abandoned and completely dark inside. We cannot see anything within it however. We were silent; but Kyro and Zander were looking towards me. Searching for something upon me even though I had kept silent and stone hard for the time being. It was midnight by the time we had arrived, the night was cool upon this time of day while the moon hangs above us alone and isolated; since the stars were not there however. With a sigh, I immediately turned towards the other and spoke while my voice reached onto the ears of the others.

“Alright. We are here.” “Upon the park?” Questioned Kyro, picking up the conversation immediately and Natty hit his arm growling lowly in response of things. He frowned towards her; but kept silent as I turned back towards the park behind me. Staring down onto the abandoned and darkness that was beyond the entrance of the park; I gulped rather nervously. But with the flap of my wings, I responded to the silence that loomed overhead and spoke towards the others while they continued on to listen to me. “The park is the first spot where everyone had been reported missing. In the previous few days I had mean however.” “So guess this means we have to-” Trailed Kyro while Zander, Ozkun and Takarki gave a nod towards him. He frowned immediately but shake his own head afterwards as I turned back to the park entrance and threw my paw forward.

Thus my unit went inside; One by one, without any hesitation from them as they all piled into the entrance. Disappearing from my sights just as I was the last dragon outside of it. For immediately, I turned around to the parking lot. Glancing around in hopes of finding something that was there that could aid us into seeing in the pure darkness within. But the parking lot was cleaned out, nothing was there except for a couple of trashes and bags about. Something that I just said nothing upon hand. With that, I just turned around and faced the entrance once more, immediately entering in following my unit as I was welcomed to the pure darkness that awaits for me inside.

However, it was not that completely dark than I had thought. For some lamplights at the distance had turned on immediately. Illuminating some parts of the park within and giving us some light as aid. Zander frowned upon this, wondering if they were going to investigate in the pure darkness while everyone else except for Takarki and me were a bit happy about it however. But as everyone turned towards me, I only shake my head and motioned my claw upon them. To which they immediately nodded and fled from my sights; scattered amongst themselves across the park. Disappearing from my sights as they fled somewhere else within the park.

For onto the next second, I found myself alone and isolated upon the entrance of the park. I felt my heart beat faster in my chest as I gave a sigh before turning towards the right; spreading my wings and flew across the lands. Above the grassy patches, the trees, the lake and finally towards the cabin and frontal office of where I flew downard. Landing upon the road underneath me. Folding my wings, I rose my head towards the front door of the office building and stepped forth towards the door. Grabbing onto its handle, opening it and headed inside. I was welcomed with a fresh breath of air that sent shivers down my spines for some reason. My eyes opened and lifted to the ceiling; noticing a railing that was there with thousands of holes poked upon it. Taking a step forward, I entered into the office building whereas I immediately searched around. Glancing in hopes of finding something here in the meantime.

I was in a single room. It was medium size too. Two more rooms connect to this single room, each with their own unique features upon them. The single medium room was empty; only containing what seems to be a statue in front of me and at the center of the room too. Upon which was a document; only one too which was a surprise for me as I walked up towards the statue at hand. Ripping the document from it and lifted it up to my head to read it. The first document details about a short story of the canines and reptiles that were gone missing from the park. Dismissing all of the detail juicy parts however, left me with the simple expose information that I had needed. There were three of each upon me. The first explains about how the canines and reptiles disappear. It was claimed to be some sort of pink blob that came down from the heavens, eating up everyone that was upon the park and fading into obstruction. Other claims was about some sort of giant creature that head some distinctive characteristics, that swooped in and snatch everyone one by one. All of the gates were close upon the evening hours, which was true considering about the times table that was posted at the entrance of the park.

The next two explains the methods of the ‘creature’ that had ‘attacked’ the park; dubbing it the ‘creature of the park’ which was not very original as of the matter. I did find myself just rolling my eyes because of it and shaking my head following the eye roll. As my attention was drawn towards the characteristics of the creature eat hand, my ears perked upon hearing something outside. A door opened suddenly and someone was panting heavily which forced me to look up from the document and turned around: meeting up with Zander. He was tired out; his tongue was sticking out with his muzzled opened at the time. Breaths of smoke came from his nostrils and mouth while he turned to face me; I motioned him by circling my claw at him. He gave a nod before explaining: “We noticed something at the northern portion of the park. Yet Ozkun and Takarki thinks this was not important for the case we are working on however.” “What is it?” I asked him, tilting my head to one side curious as to what he was talking about. For at the next breath of his, he explained “We found long lengthed wires running across the northern part of the park; hooked up to them are the generators. Yet there are protected by traps: traps that are positioned for a unique path to get through.” “Found a weak point yet?” I added, he only shake his head in answer.

“No. Think you can find it?” “I will have to see it however.” I answered him, he smiled back but lowered his head down towards the document that I was reading. Though a short quiet pause came between us, I only exhaled a sigh and lifted the document up towards him which he snatched from my claws immediately. I growled at him and he paused momentarily before meeting my eyes. But the short silence followed after my growl as I spoke towards him, “Where in the north by the way? Also, just continue reading that.” “Why?” Zander questioned, tilting his head. But I gave no answer to him before departing for the doors later on. For once I was outside into the opened black skies of the park before me, I take a breath. Pushing away the thoughts from the document that I was reading so carefully before I was rudely interrupted however, I spread my wings once more. Turned a half corkscrew around and started flying Northward. Straight where the traps were at the meantime however.

After landing, I noticed Kyro and Natty first. Takari and Ozkun were after them. They seems to be conversating with one another; ‘or more like arguing.’ I thought with a sweat drop. Frowning while the voices of the four was louder, I stepped forward towards them as both Kyro and Takari turned around to me. Following Natty and Ozkun afterwards. A short silence had came before I cough after the silence and spoke to start a conversation. But before I could, Kyro motioned towards me and pointed towards that something that was in front of him. I walked to his side; squatting down and turned towards the object of interest. In front of me was that trap that Zander had mentioned earlier on. I blinked suddenly and lifted my eyes high; gazing out towards the fields of them. Surrounding them were the generators and wires that were scattering and intertwining about. I frowned, “This seems impossible to maneuver. Even seeing it is disbelieving.” “Tell me about it.” Responded Takarki whom crossed her arms in the meantime despite Ozkun frowning at her while Kyro and Natty shift their attention towards her, scowling and darkening thier faces before returning to me.

“Think you can make it across?” Kyro questioned me. I shake my head, “Only with cheating we can. Those traps seems closer together than I had anticipated. Guess our culprits did not want anyone disrupting these generators anyway.” “By cheating…” “I meant flying, Kyro.” I growled lightly at him, he only smiled faintly but he and Natty rose to their feet. I followed them afterwards while I spoke to them, “Is this the only part of the park that has these traps and generators? I mean…” I trailed gazing back to the forest of traps before me and behind me, to the outer plains of the park. Where silence fell with no one to answer for me, I only scratched my head in silence and thoughtfulness that I spoke towards Kyro and Natty. “I need both of you to fly above the sea of traps. Deactivate the generators and come back afterwards. Radio me if anything happens.” Both dragons gave a nod, spreading their wings and hovered above the traps. They had reached upon their destination afterwards, landing adjacently to the generators at hand before turning their attention to. Deactivating them immediately.

A low hum faded in the distance; the lights from the park all faded into darkness till nothing was left. While I held a breath, I turned back towards the park at hand just as Kyro and Natty had returned back to my side once more. With their folding wings, they turned to the direction of where I was staring at; yet their eyes widened and I turned to them when one of them tapped onto my shoulder. Raising a paw high pointing towards something or rather someone that was there. I growled upon noticed it, “grab him.” I muttered just loud enough for the four dragons besides me to hear; for they responded quick and effective. Catching our pursuiter off guard as a loud screamed echoed through the park’s night which faded shortly afterwards while I still hear sudden footsteps before me. I watched with interest; just as Kyro, Natty, Ozkun and Takarki reappeared into my eyes. Between Natty and Ozkun were the culprit at hand. It was just a janitor. “Just a janitor.” I blinked in surprise, blinking a couple of times too while my attention was drawn towards the culprit. He seemed angry; his face turning red and frowned. Ears flatten against his skull, he screamed at us. But none of us heard him for the time.

I continued to frown while Takari turned her attention towards the janitor and spoke, “Should we release him.” “Go ahead.” I nodded acknowledging her which Ozkun and Natty immediately does so. Upon the release of the jeanitor at hand, he dusted his paws and growled at us. Turned around immediately before leaving, we only watched him go. Upon the next silence, I just exhaled a breath and shake my head before spreading my wings asfterwards and take towards the skies. I flew southward and west, back towards that office building whereE I had left Zander upon. Thus upon arriving inward, I flew down in front of the office building and immediately entering in.

Yet I was surprise upon seeing the single familiar room still empty and abandoned as if no one was here just yet. I called out towards the black dragon, hoping that he would be alright. Yet no answer had came, I frowned and called again. As I walked forward towards the statue at the center of the room, I stepped onto something smooth and my foot gave out; I gasped shockingly before lowering my eyes upon the flooring beneath me, noticing pieces of papers there lying messing upon the ground. I only frowned, grabbing hold onto the papers and shuffled them against the stone’s surface. When it was properly organized was the time that-

But the door opened behind me and I turned immediately around; half expecting to see some culprit or intruder there. I was relieved to see that it was just my own unit who immediately came by through the two sets of doors as they had regrouped with me. Their immediate attention was drawn towards the pile of paper in my claws and Natty stepped over to my side; gazing and reading upon such thing. While the other three glanced around upon the room, they searched for anything interesting. But I called for them shortly and they had returned to my side afterwards. I gave the set of papers to Natty who reshuffled them again and read one by one; nodding and acknowledging it all while I spoke towards the other three. “There is nothing here; besides that set of papers that I had found earlier.” “So this place is empty and abandoned right?” Questioned Kyro, totally ignoring my question after as I just stared onto the red dragon and frowned, shaking my head before repeating the phase afterwards.

This time, they had gotten what I had just said and acknowledged it afterwards before regroup with Natty whom was still reading the contents of the paper. I rejoined them afterwards and looked to the papers while Natty commented and commentary what she had just read: But I think I had just ignored her. She did pointed out some good points however. One of which was the latest report and commentary of an individual who spoke about the latest disappearing within the park. Stating something about the electrical generators and the set of papers that were found in the office. He had said something along the lines of “Creepy horror story that would be great for the author to use.” Something that we all glanced onto one another in confuse and dazzlement. But not one of us had pointed it out however.

The next one was related to the blackout that reptile had faced, three weeks prior to this event. It was the latest report of the blackout that caused many to panicked and cause chaos across the streets of canine. With investigations linking to the park that had just opened up before the blackout had started. “Wait. That is that same park that was reported two years ago before it closing.” Responded Zander as he pointed towards the picture of the familiar park, “With that werwolf finishing up the course and we are to ‘protect’ him from ‘everything’ that was trying to disrupt the game.” “Oh yeah.” COmmented Takarki while Ozkun gave a nod as well. “Wondering what happened to that course after the werewolf had indeed finished it.” “Guess it did turned into this.” I spoke out of the blue while silence became the answer to me and every head turned immediately to face me, I frowned at them. Yet Kyro gave an acknowledgement nod, “Yeah that is true.” Now every remaining head was turned to the red dragon who later explains, “The park was changed drastically over the years. I bet you that management had not been good this past few years that had caused this park to closed and remodeled to appeal to the general audience.”

“...And you think that remodeling the park had drastically changed the park?” Questioned Takarki while Kyro gave a nod towards her, smiling only faintly. “Yeah. I mean think about it. The park is in the same position as to the previous park. Center of Reptile or Canine; Northern side closest to the entrance at north. Either canine or reptile are missing because of the park’s secrets to which we are called right in.” “Thus that starts the story. Or plot that is.” Commented Zander while Natty and Takari glanced at either of them, looking rather confuse momentarily that they were forced to look onto one another and raised their shoulders in the meantime. While all of that was happening, I just stared onto each of them. Kept quiet while I had done my own thinking.

Yet what Kryo stated mades scenes persay. This was indeed the same park in the same location of either canine and reptile realms with that same canines or reptiles disappearing and we were called right into action. Yet what was different from this to the other similar plots: is just the piles of papers that make up the document. I find myself glancing back to that document for a second time which was being held by Natty as she conversed with Kyro and Ozkun at the time. Upon my silence, I spoke towards her which had interrupted their conversation while she immediately turned towards me, a tilt of her head asked me this question. I only kept it simple and pointed to the documents that was in her claws. She handed it to me before returning to the conversation: yet I had not ignored everything around me.

Hanging my head upon the piles of papers in front of me, I was a bit surprise upon seeing the last page. It was rather something that I had never saw ever. Just only now when I received the papers from Natty. Curious, I began to read the contents within; hoping to shed some light into the plot and case that we were given. I skimmed through the words at the first paragraph; reading and reading it again in hopes of getting some sense into it. That had taken some time to skim through it and read and reread it once more and lifted my head into the horizon while Natty shift her attention towards me whereas we met eyes once more, I gave a nod to her and handed the paper afterwards to which she gave a nod responding to me and held it underneath her arm while she returned to Takari.

I turned to Kyro, Zander and Ozkun. The three turned their attention towards me as I motioned them out the door. They commit to the command and I followed them through; taking the lead shortly after while we flew northward upon the park once more. Revisiting upon the generators, traps and wires that were there hiding amongst the plainest of sights however.

As we had returned, we landed upon the grounds. Kyro and Zander lifted their heads towards the seas of traps before them while Ozkun tilted his head to one side, before shifting his attention towards me. A long silence came before us while I lifted myself up from the ground just by flapping my own wings; hovering through upon the surfaces of the traps beneath me and towards the generator and wires once more. Whereas I landed upon the surface of the generator was the time that I folded my wings and crouched down so I was staring onto the generator from the side. Despite the vibrating rumbling beneath my feet which, mind you, felt really good for some reason, I stared onto the sides. Stretching my claw outward onto the surfaces; hoping to find something there.

It never taken long for me to find what I was looking for however. As a click echoed through the peaceful silences of the night, the generator and the following generators whined down until only the sounds of ringing echoed in my ears. I lifted myself from the surfaces of the generator; stretched my wings and body before weaving off towards the other three before me. Yet before i could ‘jump’ from the generator, I flinched upon hearing a loud yell behind me.

“HEY”

Venturing: MisCarriage

I could not believe at what I had witness in front of me as I find myself staring from the entrance of the restaurant building. I was certain that the other officers had shared my shocking view while I turned towards the others; hoping to see something there. Yet none of them showed it at all; all of which were stoned faces or neutral faces at most. Just staring down from the entrance, looking onto the entire view of the restaurant in front of us. Despite me wanting to question them about their stone faces, I only shook my head. Reminding myself that it was indeed a bad time to mentioned it at all. Thus instead, I just returned to focus upon the front. Staring down onto the horizon in front of me.

We split up automatically and without hesitation at all. Kyro and Zander had headed left; walking towards the other opposite part of the restaurant itself. I was together with Ozkun and Tatakri; the two dragons whom were silent upon the shocking realization that had unfolded upon us as their attention was drawn towards the right part of the building. Gazing down onto the tables and chairs that were scattered about. For upon our arrival inward, we were surprise to noticed that there were a lot of scales and fur scattered about upon the surface of the building in front of us. Scales and fur that were upon the table’s or chair’s surface. Including the wall, stands and nearby the cash register it had seemed.

I only shake my head, pondering about the questions that were upon my own mind. Yet despite not talking to my own coworkers whom were adjacent to me, I only stared off towards the table’s surface in front of me. Gazing at one, then the others. Within the silence, I stared upon the tables. Take a step forward and leaneed forth onto the table in front of me. While indeed they were scales and fur; they were a bit unique as a matter of fact. For scales of red, gold and purple were found lying onto them. The furs were common compared to the scales however. Brown, white and black. My eyes squinted and narrowed upon the common fur colors before turning around, speaking towards Ozkun whom glance towards me in response. “Seems like we got common furs onto our claws now.” “Those furs seems a bit light, Ling.” Commented Takakri while Kyro shouted from the otherside of the room, “Agreed!” “Talk to your own coworker, Kyro!” I heard Takarki growled loudly onto the red dragon, angry as her claw rose towards her face. Staring down onto the red dragon.

I only shake my own head upon which; but stated nothing else other than what Takakri had said. For another look upon the pieces of fur in front of me, realized what she had stated was right. Indeed, the furs were a bit of a lighter color. All of the brown and black, except for white. For how is it possible for white to become any brighter than that? “So I take it that we are dealing with kits then huh?” I questioned Takari whom turned towards me and nodded silently, “Yeah. Makes you wonder if the dragons were the culprits this time around.” “Considering that it is purple, red and gold?” Interrupted Ozkun as his head was turned to me and Takari, “I do not think that they are the culprits this time around.” “What?” Takari said, a bit surprise upon what Ozkun was stating “You think it is someone else then?” “I agree with him then.” I answered, giving off a nod towards him while he just smiled faintly. But turned around and continued the work regardless while Takari just shake her head, exhaling a sigh and went right with it too.

For the next few hours we had examined the pieces of fur and scales that was in front of us, till we all gathered up amongst one another at evening upon the center and heart of the building that we were upon. This was the time we had examined all of the furs and scales that we had gathered in just little time we had. However, the conversation had suddenly turned into an argument with Zander tapping onto my shoulder and I turned towards him in response. For he rose his claw high towards my face, handing me something that looked like a photo and I shake my head. Denying the photo if it was just us arguing about something such as recently. However…

“It is not a photo, rather it is something else that me and Kyro cannot pick out from the certain spots of the right side upon the building.” Zander started, I blinked upon him in response. But shake my head and curled my claw upward. Motioning him for the piece as he just handed it to me immediately to which I hanged my head and glance towards the piece in silence. For after waving and shaking it for a few seconds, the photo came into light and into my eyes immediately as I find myself face to face with it. Indeed, it was blood. But it seems to be faint at the time. I tilted my head to the side, take a step from the circle of argument which Kyro and Takari are having a war of words at and questioned Zander, “Where did you find this?” “Right side of the building.” He answered, no hesitation while I just shake my head and tried again “No, I meant where in the right side?” “Oh.” He responded, “Let me show you then.” I gave a nod to the black dragon and walked away from the group.

Allowing Zander to lead me through the waves of tables and chairs that were in front of us, we came up seconds later upon the designated spot of where this photo was last taken place. To which Zander stretched his claw outward and tapped onto the table adjacent to him, forcing me to glance to where he was tapping at. To my surprise, I had saw it indeed. Dried blood amongst the scales and furs that were there; the chair seem to have the most than all the others. Most likely to cover up the dried blood that was underneath of it. Blinking a couple of times, I gave a nod towards the black dragon who responded with his own afterwards. And stand adjacent to me while I crouched down, leveling with the chair in front of me before gazing onto the dried blood.

With a swipe of my thumb, it had seemed indeed that the blood was indeed dried. I gave a frown onto this before grabbing onto the scales and fur that were about. But a bit surprise that the pieces were sticking onto it like glue which had made me think for a moment. As my head was tilted to the side, I glance towards Zander and motioned for him as he lowered his head and met my eyes. “Can you grab a screw driver or something that we can scrap this off from?” “You mean like a scraper or something, right?” Zander questioned me, I gave a nod. He nodded respondingly and takes off. Coming back afterwards with such a instrument that I had needed afterwards. Snatching from his claws, I thanked him immediately before going right to work after. For the sounds of argument behind us was done; ‘that did take long’ I thought to myself, slightly grinning upon the tranquility of silence hovering above us.

I had managed to scrape off some of the furs and scales from the chair; for some of the pieces had taints of blood upon which. But the colors of scales were still there. Only the fur had changed its color somehow; I do not know how or why. ‘But perhaps that would be better suited to question Rannar or some other canine.’ I thought with silence, shaking my own head before raising myself up towards my own feet. Feeling the aches and pain that came with it upon my own bones, I groaned and gritted my fangs while Zander turned towards me and slightly chuckled, I gave off a harden look towards him before chuckling following him. Turning around, I had spotted Ozkun who was together with Kyro at the time. Both of which were behind me just as I had turned; startling me whereas I take a step back. Hitting against the table and chair behind me, a loud bang echoed through the tranquility of the building. Additionally, forcing Natty and Takari to glance towards me while they were moving to the backrooms of the building.

“You alright?” “I am fine.” I waved off Kyro while Zander and Ozkun gave off a chuckle. A small piece of silence came before I responded towards them, “Anyway. The conversation was done?” “Long been done.” “What have you guys found out or discuss?” “never went anywhere.” Ozkun interrupted our conversation, shaking his head afterwards while Zander turned towards him, tilting his head to one side questioning “Really?” “Indeed.” I exhaled. But went with it anyway. For after their short conversation, I questioned both Kyro and Ozkun about the scales and fur and blood that was upon the certain chairs amongst the right side of the building. “For surely then there would be some… witness to call upon this tragic event?” “The time this had taken place was well in the morning. Like dawn, before anyone else had even arrived onto this building, Ling.” “Well into dawn or before?” “before.” Kyro responded, shaking his head while Zander and Ozkun huffed. I frowned, irritated

“Well if it had taken place before dawn. Surely there be cameras that would captured this scene?” “Unless of course those are blindsided.” Pointed out Ozkun as Zander tilted his head at him, “What do you mean by that?” “Remember guys.” I started going into their conversation just as Ozkun and Zander turned towards me immediately, “The report that we had gotten from Yang was that there was indeed ‘no witness nor corpse’ “ “We found something here!” Yelled Takari from the other side of the building which forces all four of us to turn around immedinately and glance towards the dragoness in front of us, behind the counter. She was waving us off; a bright smile was upon her face. Perhaps hiding something underneath or worst. As we stared onto her, I gave off an exhale before motioning Kyro and Zander to go after her. Despite Ozkun’s protest, the two said dragons fled from my sights. Rejoining with Takari as she had led them behind, disappearing from our sights while I turned towards Ozkun.

“In the meanwhile, we should head behind the counter also. Find something there in the meanwhile.” “The kitchen perhaps?” Ozkun questioned me, I growled slightly at him in response “You already ate.” “I am still hungry.” He frowned, I facepalmed. But craved in regardless. For we went behind the white counter from our right side. Entering into the employee territory where we turned immediately towards the right; entering into the kitchen. The kitchen room was not that bad either however. It was clearer than the front room which was a plus. But as I glanced around upon the room, I was a bit surprise to see that it was indeed a square room. A bit small too additionally. While turning towards Ozkun, he stepped from my line and walked forth towards the instruments of the kitchen, grabbing onto the pots and pans; additionally, the refrigerator and oven. I wanted to protest against him; but kept my tongue inside my snout for silence as I just continued watching him afterwards as he turned towards me. “The place seems clean. Nothing else is out of the ordinary however.” “Seems like it too-” I responded with the same tone as Ozkun.

But the flashes of light blinded us through and through; causing us to blink our eyes a couple of times to adjacent to the lights that had befallen upon us. As I groaned and rubbed my eyes, I turned immediately around and walked back outside of the kitchen. Growling in annoyance towards the other group; but stretched my ears overhearing the conversation instead. “Told you there were some lights here.” “I thought this place was abandoned?” “Seems like it is not.” Adding, “Now come on, Ling and Ozkun were upstairs, we should at least give them an apology for what had transpired however.” “Like what?” A smack came afterwards, “Ow! What was that for?” A silence answer came in response. In place of the short conversation I just heard, the immediately set of footsteps submerged from the silence. Climbing the stairs and back towards level ground, the three dragons were a bit surprise upon seeing me there in front of them noless.

“Oh.” Started Kyro while Zander held his claw to his cheek; frowning. Takari, on Kyro’s right, was beaming with joyness about something likely from hitting the black dragon no less. But I just shake my head at the following thought and spoke towards them, “The lights have turned on. Were this your doing?” “Indeed.” “Guess it was too dark anyway to see anything.” I commented with a huff; stating nothing else while Kyro frowned, then questioned me “Is Ozkun still in the kitchen?” I gave off a nod to the red dragon who fled from my sight and entered inward behind me. Disappearing from my sights while Takari and Zander just shake their heads silently, I exhaled another breath and turned around immediately. Entering inwarad into the kitchen just to see; Kyro and Ozkun together in front of a pot. Both of them were motionless as if something had stopped them entirely. As they stared, I walked up towards them. Tapped onto their shoulders to which they flinched, immediately turning around towards me. For their faces bore, something of a white pale of a ghost.

I stepped away for good measure.

And kept like that until the two take a step towards the side, revealing what was upon the pot in front of them. Or rather what was inside of the pot thereof. Within, I had noticed a head of a canine. Following it was a head of a dragon. Both were dead it had seemed. I held my breath; silence lingered onto my face while my eyes stared to the dragon and canine in front of me. Till I just shake my head and spoke towards the two, “Cover it.” Kyro done that immediately. But turned his head to Ozkun, questioning him “Where did you find that?” “Refrigerator apparently.” Ozkun answered immediately, raising his claw towards the object in question while me and Kyro turned to where he was pointing at slightly. For we turned to one another in silence, stating nothing else afterwards but to take a step forth towards such an object. To the point that Kyro grabbed hold onto the handle and pulled back.

We had saw it all. Every single head of canine and reptile was in here: from fox, wolf, coyote, jackal, dhole and ferrec to the dragons, wyrms, western and eastern dragons, blizeons, lizereons and among other stuff that were in there. “Who is collecting all of this stuff?” I heard Kyro exclaimed in surprise for he nearly threw up in response, Ozkun was not faring any better behind us however. For he gagged and something else came from his mouth while we heard rapid footsteps came upon the room we were in. The rest of the unit entered; gazing towards me and Kyro, then towards the vomiting Ozkun till they split apart from one another. Takari went to aid Ozkun while Zander rejoined me and Kyro; his eyes bugged out from their sockets, surprise about what he had just witness in front of me.

“What is this? Why are they all here? What is going on in this building?” Zander responded, rapidly firing random related questions out of the blue while me and Kyro just stared onto him. Then towards one another afterwards. For we both silently agreed to close the refrigerator altogether and we committed to the deed. Afterwards, we turned towards Zander and patted onto his back as he flinched before turning to face both of us. We never said anything else afterwards as we walked out of the room. Rejoining with Ozkun and Takari who were together at the heart of the room; comforting one another. I spoke out of the silence and everyone turned towards me afterwards.

None of them spoke as I continued the conversation alone; explaining about the clues that we had and piecing them together to showcase the true horrors of what this building was to be. It had also proven for the fact about why the building was abandoned altogether. However, something was missing and I frowned upon realizing it while I conversed with my coworkers. For they just stared back onto me afterwards; none of them talked or converse as the silence of their voices loomed overhead even after I was done talking at the time.

I exhaled a breath realizing the quietness of the atmosphere above me; closing my eyes opening them after while I spoke to the rest of them “Talk, darn it! This is not a one sided conversation after all!” I snarled, flinching them all as their minds snapped from the disgusting views and visuals of the heads of canines and reptiles altogether. Immediately, they turned to one another. Fireced conversations were fired from everyone as I joined in onto the conversation, pitching in my own words and thoughts at the same time.

It did not take long for someone to gasp; shockingly upon the sudden silence as every head was turned towards the source whom was Zander at the time. His claw raised pointing to the ceiling above us before he spoke his thoughts out to the rest of us, “I get it now. In the repot; someone mentioned that there was a white sign written in blood. Explaining about ‘new workers wanted” or something like that. The heads indicated that they were indeed the former or ex workers that used to work here; shortly before the run out of supplies.” “It does explain why this business had went out.” Responded Ozkun with Takari and Kyro nodded their heads at him, Zander faintly smiled at the rest of them before returning his attention to me. “So, Ling. Where do we find this sign?”

With all the heads turned towards me, I shuttered briefly reminding me about the heads that we had just witness upon the refrigerator. Luckily for me it was only a short moment too before I explained to them. I imagine that such a piece is found somewhere in the trash out back. Burned to avoid any evidence behind.” “But the purchase?” Questioned Ozkun and I raised my head towards the ceiling, before answering him. “At the cash register.” Thus, Ozkun and Takari raced one another to such said thing. It was immediate that we flinched upon hearing such sounds erupted onto our eardrums. That forcefully we turned towards the right; gazing onto such two dragons grabbing onto the item; pulling forth towards themselves while screaming at one another.

It was kind of like raising hatchlings who are siblings however.

Venturing: Round Spring

We stand in front of a bullet trail that stretched out further into the horizon beyond us where we had stared upon it. Everyone was silent at the time, neither of us had stated anything during the short silence we had. Yet it seemed that Kyro wanted to however. For he turned his attention towards the rest of us and opened his mouth; speaking out to us just as we had turned to meet him. “Why are there bullets lying on the ground? Think there is some sort of shootout here?” “Doubt there was anything such as that.” Responded Zander, shaking his own head with his eyes closed at the time. I nodded my head to Zander, agreeing with him. “Yeah. They were all just lying onto the ground for some reason. Not even used.” “You can see the clear bullet inside of these shells.” Commented Zander when he lowered himself down to grab onto the shell bullet on the ground.

As the black dragon continued to examine such a bullet shell, Kyro and Natty turned their attention away from him. Instead, glance their eyes forth towards something at the distance before them where it was covered up by something. I saw them squinted their eyes in silence; but neither of them spoke or mentioned it however. I walked up to their line; raising my claws to both their shoulders and whispered to their ears “What is it?” “There is a building that is far from where we are. It is transparent from the other buildings that we were unable to see through.” “Think that is our target then?” I questioned the two; they just shrugged.

With the conversation at an end, I motioned towards the rest of the team which Zander raises his eyes towards me, I gave a nod to the black dragon before commented out towards the rest of the officers surrounding me. “There are a lot of blood trails circulating around Vastertown. To make this easier, I recommend everyone to split up and search up the buildings that the bullets and shells were leading you all into. Find out what was specials about these buildings; come to me afterwards.” “You will be circulating around?” Questioned Kyro, his eyes to me. I nodded silently, “Yeah, figuring out why these shells are here. Now go!” Upon the signal, everyone peeled themselves off from me and headed their own directions. But it was certain where everyone would be going, for the trails of bullets and shells only point in one direction however.

Onto the notice, everyone fled Northward to West, following the trail before them. Everyone had left me alone to myself which was something that I had liken however. For with a sigh and hanging my head following it, I shift my attention to the trail of bullets and shells beneath me. Quickly noticing how it fled northward towards the first crossroads ahead. I followed the trail straight towards the first building location. Northwest from our gathering spot and closest to the pet shop that was nearby. Here I paused momentarily and rose my eyes high; gazing to the horizon in front of me where the building target lies. It was taller than the others adjacent to it. More brownish than red unlike the two others adjacently. The door was opened; a black sign with white letters forming the word ‘Open’ was posted upon the building wall at front. I walked in without hesitation.

Once I had found myself within the building, I glanced around at the surroundings. I was amazed to see that the entire building was just one room. Just huge perhaps. Faint lights were formed above me, illuminating the room with its faint lights which runs through the borders of light and darkness. I stared to the horizon in front of me, gazing passed all of the chairs and white tables that were there. Additionally; the food supply and more serving tables there too after the chairs and white tables. “This is more of a restaurant than an actual building office or something similar like that.” I mentioned inside my own mind, staring down onto the environmental surroundings around me. It was then that I exhaled a breath and stated nothing before making my way passed the white tables and chairs, straight towards the food section that lies after it.

There, I had noticed up close that the food were covered up by silver trays or plates that seem more solid which does prevent me from ever looking inside of them however. Taking the notice of the covered trays and plates, I formed a frown and shuffled my wings, pondering if something were inside of them like an explosive or something environment status effect like poison and fire. “Maybe explosives too.” I thought additionally, before shaking my head and growled. Knowing that the explosives were the same as the fire itself. Ignoring anymore comments, I walked up towards the first of the many trays. Grabbing onto the top of the lid and lifting it off. What revealed to me were just food inside of them, nothing more innocent was then and I just lowered it afterwards. Covering it up.

I think I had spent a good amount of time opening and uncovering whatever was inside of these trays and plates than I had covering them back up however. For each time that I had opened and uncovered them, I was more embarrassed by the second. Each of the opened trays or plates within was just a regular dish or a surprise dish; fish, bread and common corn were the main ones. Chicken, meat and others were just rare to find around these places however. I did find myself staring onto the fish in front of me, for my snout watered upon seeing the fried fish settled before my own eyes. Though I just shake my head, ridding off the hunger thoughts within me. I reopened them again and set myself away from the first table in front of me. Walking forth westward, towards the other tables that were there. I repeated my actions of uncovering the truth underneath of these trays and dishes: each one was more innocent like the last. Chickens, corn and a bunch of other meat were there standing before me. Heated up and warmed that my own stomach started growling. I shake my head frowning, setting the covered trays and plates back into their proper places however.

I glanced around at the other tables behind me. Looking to the white covered cloth that had covered the majority of these tables. There were plates, forks, spoons and flowerpots above the table and the cloth. But nothing else was onto there. “Nothing innocent at all.” I thought and frowned, turning tail and deciding to leave the place and followed the trail of bullets and shells again towards the next destination of where they were leading me at the time.

Perhaps it had taken some twenty minutes before arriving straight into my next destination. For I rose my eyes high into the air, staring down onto the next building that was in front of me. A set of big letters imprinted itself upon the surface of the building, some of the letters flickered and breaks. Sending sparks downward into the grounds, I take a step backward to avoid them altogether. With my eyes lowered to the set of doors in front of me, I reached out towards them and grabbed onto the doorknob. Opening up afterwards and headed on in, but not before I heard a radio call from Zander “Ling. I found something that you are not going to believe this.” I blinked at my walkie; perhaps in disbelief or something like that. For I just shake my own head and frowned; before raising up my walkie from my waste and spoke through the speaker, “This better be something, Zander. I am already in the second building and found nothing in the previous.” “Guess you had missed the rightside door of the building itself; it was a employees only. Yet the entire sign was taken off: Inside, was more bullets and shells. But it also seems that the brown ropes that an employee mentioned before was gone. Blood was pooling everywhere around this room.”

“Go and investigate that place.” I ordered, no hesitation as sI heard a double click following me and everything had became silent. I exhaled a sigh, shaking my own head in wondering and pondering about something. For my thoughts were related to what Zander had said beforehand. But I shake my head again to clear my thoughts; turning instead to the surroundings that the room had offered me however. It was not even a regular room with lots of personal stuff. Rander, it was a store. Same as the restaurant that I went into before this morning. But it was offering something completely different. I stared onto the set of beds and beddings that was in front of me. All scattered amongst themselves through out the room, leaving no spaces about and walkway to easier maneuver through the seas of beds. I stared onto the beds in particular; wondering curiously about where these things would be hiding.

For I walked up towards the first of many and the one closest towards where I was initially too. A bed was in front of me and I stopped afterwards. Lowering my head downward towards the surface of the bed; before lowering my claw down onto its surface and patted it silently. There were a couple of humps and hillsides before me, lumped upward into the air as if there was something important within there. A tilt of my own head before I grabbed onto the blanket that was covering up the bed. Pulling it back to reveal several childrens toys and some adult toys there too. I blushed at the sight of the toys and quickly covered them up afterwards. Shaking my head after before walking up towards another bed. Cycling through the different beds that I had came across and found nothing there other than food crumbs and waste and other innocent items therein. I just sighed and stopped once I had reached upon the other side of the room building that I was within and leaned against the wall in silence, staring out onto the windows of the other side.

That was when I had noticed a huge white poster board in front of me, it had covered up the entire window too it had seemed. With my own head tilting to the side, I backtracked through the seas of beds, ending up upon the other side whereas I walked up towards the window with the covered up poster and ripped it from its cover. Thus I immediately turned the poster towards me; noticing that it was just an offer about the beds behind me. But something at the center of the board had caught my interest. For I kept my eye upon it and gradually grabbed onto the item at the center of the board, peeling it off from the poster where it was removed afterwards. The item in question was a picture of a chair. More importantly, a red arrow was pointing rightward. Towards the adjacent building after this which was something that I came outside for.

Sure enough, the adjacent building next to the one that I had entered through was indeed the chair store. I walked towards its entrance where Zander and Ozkun were standing around, chatting amongst themselves it had seemed. Upon me coming up towards their visions was when the two break off from their own conversation and turned their attention towards me, a small smile appearing upon their faces as I raised a claw, pointing to the chair store in front of me. “It is not opened, Ling.” Started Ozkun shaking his head at me while I just frowned responding to him, “The key is missing and we had no way of getting inside.” “Have you guys tried the backdoor of the building? Onto the other side of this?” I questioned them, both dragons turned towards me and nodded their heads. “We even tried the sides doors too.” “What about breaking into the store?” “WIndows are too hard and bouncy.” Commented Zander, pointing to a baseball that was lying on its side; leaning against the wall of the chair building in front of us. I turned my attention to the baseball before nodding my head, acknowledging it momentarily. Thus I had became silent alongside the two others whom just stared at me then towards one another.

It was a short while before Zander responded to the rest of us, “What about the silver door that we had found at the rooftops, Ozkun? Maybe that is opened.” “Have we tried opening that door yet when we had discovered it?” Ozkun questioned him, who responded by shaking his head. Ozkun gave a nod before both of them spread their wings and flew off. Raising themselves higher in elevation towards the rooftops where they had disappeared at the time being. I watched them go in silence; faintly smiling afterwards. Whereas I spread my own wings and take off after them, landing upon the rooftops afterwards. I folded my wings here and glanced around at the rooftops before me whereas I had spotted that silver door in front of me.

It was opened at the time being which the pair of dragons were able to get through. Within the silence, I turned tail and dropped back onto the ground once more. Turned my attention towards the road in hopes of finding more of those bullets and shells around about. Yet towards my surprise; I only got a sign in front of me. I blinked at it silently, frowning in response. But nonetheless stepped forth towards it and grabbed onto the sign which I had lifted it up towards my own face. Reading the contents that were there before me.

The sign seems to be pointing into some sort of festival that was nearby and upon one of the squares. The only one of those that I had recalled was the square, a little south from where I was. But glancing back onto the sign, I had noticed that the red arrow upon the sign was pointing east. Towards a nearby building that shares the same name as the square I already mentioned above. I curiously tilted my head and decided to follow what the sign had said. I flew eastward and dropped the sign beforehand. Heading forth towards the building that the sign seemed to have mentioned.

It had taken a few minutes before arriving onto the location that the sign had stated. When I had landed upon the ground, I rose my eyes high towards the building in front of me. I stared it down, noticing how tall it was compared to the buildings adjacent to it. Something at its apex was there; yet I was unsure what it was due to how closer to the center that object was upon the building. That the building’s own walls were covering it up, preventing me from getting a good view upon it. I decided to ignored it anyway and lowered my eyes down towards the building’s front. Towards the set of doors that was in front of me. I stepped forth towards those doors; reaching out with my claw towards them whereas I grabbed onto the handle and pulled back. I heard a moan, the door squeak following it before silence had overtaken the atmosphere afterwards, I entered in. No hesitation.

It was pure darkness within. I cannot see anything then. Lights flickered upon the hallway that It was in; yet whenever they had illuminated the halls, it seemed faint. The halls stretched down into the horizon; another door was there it had seemed too. But a red sign showed above the door; white letters were upon it. Medium size, I could barely see it. Ignoring what was at the horizon, I decided to call up towards the rest of my officers, wondering how they were progressed through this investigation at hand. But no one answered after the button clicked and I frowned. I tried again twice before slightly giving it up and growled to myself before gradually raising my eyes back to the horizon. Back towards the locked door in front of me.

I was hesitated; I did not know what else to do. Onto one claw, I can just walk through the halls and reached the door onto the other side. Yet I was unsure of what the hallway who throw wat me for it was a mysterious. What was even astonishing was that the hallway was the only thing I had seen so far; and even if I had squinted my eyes, staring down onto the horizon. I cannot find any sort of alternative hallways or pathways that would allowed me through. All of which were closed off by being solid or there was as door in front of it, locked as showed by the red coloring block and white letters in front of me. Exhaling a breath and closing my own eyes, I just moved on. For I raised my own eyes high into the horizon and gradually walked forth, despite my own heart beating against my own chest.

I walked step by step through the halls; initially finding nothing happening to me nor the environment around me. I did not know whether to be glad or sad about this. But I had decided not to let that cloud be anyway. My walkie clicked; another set of statics submerged from the speakers. But I had completely ignored it afterwards and just continue stepping through. Walking casually and silently as I could, keeping my eyes up front towards the locked door in front of me while al lI hear was the ringing echoing in my own head.

Thirty minutes had passed; I was already a quarter of the way through the hallway. Yet nothing more had happened to me; the walls were eased up. The flooring had not ‘eaten’ me yet. The doors were still locked however and the lights continued to flicker about. But that was all just normality. I soon gained control of some confidence within me just as more walkie statics and something whispered in. Again, like the one previously, I had ignored it either. I continued walking through these twenty steps or more upon the hallway that I was in. Soon to be close enough upon the door in front of me that I could stretch out my own claw towards its handle and soon open it afterwards. It had done just that, much to my surprise. I heard a click submerged from the tranquility of the silence looming above me as my eyes stared up upon the opening of the door.

Dare I saw something there that was unbelievable for me to see or even witness however. For what was in front of me was a single light; not flickering but illuminating the flooring beneath it. In front of me was a brown chair; rope adjacent to it and a person sitting upon the chair. It seem to me a canine; but it was shorter than most than I had normally recognized. It perked its ears and slowly opened its eyes; turned its attention towards me afterwards where we held the longest silence conversation there is. Till I break the silence and raised my claw, in an attempt of a greeting. Something happened. First; the door behind me shut off. A loud buzzer came following. The canine in front of me, rose to its feet and suddenly changed form. Its fur ripped revealing silver or gold blood; the sight that had reminded me about the shells and bullets that I had saw before them. Thus I widened my eyes. Realizing what the bullets and shells were for. I bit my lips and growled perhaps silently to myself, mad that I had not realized this sooner than possible as I had wondered how I can get out of this predicament.

Venturing: Thee Kind

Everyone was back upon the station’s room, together with Yang. We all turned our heads over to the unconscious dragon in front of us. Now lying upon the solid grounds beneath us; lying onto its side. Its arms were stretched further out from its shoulder, beyond the head and horns it had seemed. Wings were tucked inward to prevent anyone from stomping upon them, although Kyro and Zander were the ones whom pushed the dragon’s wings upon his back. Everyone was silent. The tranquility was held hovering above the room, with no words spoken or exchanged between the rest of us. As our eyes were held upon the dragon lying on the ground.

Till I exhaled a breath and frowned was the only time that Yang shift her attention towards me. Questioning, “Why did you guys bring him here? Into this office of all the rooms?” “We did not want to leave it isolated. Thinking that he was captured or something by some foreign faction or species.” “Like the aliens for example.” Suggested Zander while Kyro just stared at him momentarily, shaking his head and said nothing else beside just shifting his eyes back upon the dragon on the floor. “Yeah, like the aliens.” I commented, trailing off and glanced over to Kyro for a moment. “He is not going to wake up any faster if you just stare at him.” “But what are we suppose to do in the meantime then?” No one came up with a suggestion; for all our voices were stuck upon our throats. Only vibrations had came otherwise, but that was just about it however.

I only exhaled a breath and shake my head while Yang spoke towards him and the rest of my squad “Just go out and patrol around the spots. We should be looking for anyone out there that dare interrupt the peace.” “Arrest him or her immediately.” I added, joining in onto the conversation as well which Yang gave an approving nod momentarily before turning her attention to Kyro who just nodded in approval. For he had remained silent, spreading his orange wings as he turned around. Walked forth towards the front door which he had opened, and closed after getting himself out. The rest followed the red dragon; disappearing through the door one by one. Until it was just me and Yang upon that room; something that she had smiled about faintly. Yet I just blushed and gazed away from her, towards the wall adjacent to me. With the tranquility of the silence hovering upon us, I shuffled my wings and spoke towards Yang. Yet she had pushed first with her own question however, as she asked me. “Tell me again how you manage to grab or spot the unconscious dragon immediately?” “For the audience?” I questioned her, she gave a nod to me and I exhaled a breath before nodding. “Fine.”

Rewinding to early morning; where my squad had just began to move out upon our own patrol route that the chief had gave to us after the briefing. We flew into the fresh cold air that blew against our own scales upon the following silence. We were to stand in Southwest; because of some sort of trouble that had happened there. Yet somehow Zander was not having it. For he had believed that something more troubling was settled there than we had anticipated. Something more sinister that we may have to call the canines for some aid. Yet I just tell him ‘you are just over exaggerating things.’ That was usually the end of these conversations. Anyway, we submerged from the door of our station. Feeling the cold hit upon our scales as Natty and Kyro shivered so suddenly. Zander stared out towards the horizon with his arms folded so suddenly, keeping silent while I started briefing them onto this patrol. For at the end of it all, everyone just gave me a nod of approval or a smile before departing from me immediately. Until it was just me and Zander left who just turned around and glanced over towards me, I said nothing but a groan before spreading my wings too. Zander mirrored me and we flew South for the start of our patrol.

Arriving southward; Zander and I landed upon the rooftops of one certain building. We both lowered our eyes downward to the roads beneath us; watching as the streets were initially empty around this time of day. I yawned upon this time, straining myself to wake up so early in the morning while my arms were stretched upward beyond my head. Zander looked to me and gave off a small smile. But nothing was out from his snout as he walked along the edges of the rooftops, westward. Till long, he was out of my sight and his footsteps fainted upon my own ears. At this time, I just rose my eyes high towards the blue skies. Watching the clouds go by and the black birds ‘raced’ each other eastward, towards somewhere else. I gave off a faint smile before lifting myself from the grounds beneath me. Turning my attention towards Zander whom were already yards ahead of where we initially were.

For onto this surprise was when I called out towards the black dragon, racing through the rooftop in an panic while screaming out upon his name. He turned to face me; a wide smile upon his face as he shuffled his wings in greeting. I only groaned and just nodded towards him in response. Stating nothing else other than me catching up towards him. Once that was accomplished, we resumed Zander’s patrol around the square. Everything was merely quiet. Nothing had happened around this time of the hour which is a good thing! It had gave us and the others much more time to think and plan about other things. Additionally, have conversations with other reptiles and dragons as well as our own. I smiled, my heart beat beats loudly in my chest while I stared up front onto the horizon before me just as Zander spoke out to me. “Hey look. A new store that just opened suddenly.” “A new store?” I questioned him, suddenly shifting to him where he was pointing down at the roads adjacently. I only blinked at him, but turned away and gaze at where he was pointing at. Noting the newest of building before us or rather before me, I blinked and tilted my head to one side before questioning the black dragon suddenly,

“That one?” “yes that one. You never saw this before have you, huh?” A short pause of silence confirms the black dragon’s suspicious as he gave me a faint smile. I only rolled my eyes and said nothing. But to give one more look over to that store that he was talking about before casting my eyes back to the horizon in front of me. That new store, according to Zander, had been here for at least two weeks now. Its products were high definition and were at a low price however. Compared that to the other stores eithers! Anyway; according to Zander, the store was neatly tidy and most of the products were found where it was needed to be. Making it quite easy for anyone to find what they were looking for at the time being! Yet enough of that however as me and Zander bypassed it and moved onward. Further steps straight towards the end of the rooftop line that we had been following recently amongst the quietness that hovered above us however.

But just as we had reached upon the edge; we heard a static crackling upon our walkies suddenly. Zander flinched upon the loud noise. Yet I lowered my eyes upon my own, grabbing onto it tightly while pressing the black button twice for approval to whomever was talking. The voice came following the series of beeps which I had presumed came from the other officers as well and I stand still, allowing Zander a few steps forward before he had stopped too and turned himself around, gazing at me while I just held my paw outward in front of him. He gave a nod, awaiting while the voice spoke out. “All units please stand by. We had found an unconscious body nearby the drug store. Northwest from the station at the latest eight hour of the morning.” “Way to speak a bout the time however.” Commented Zander while I just glared at him suddenly, causing him to flinched. But remained silent afterwards as he just stared at me suddenly. Shaking my own head and sighing following afterwards, I joined in onto the response train of voices that had came from Ozkun. Then Kyro responded once more,

“We had just confirmed that the body is a dragon. Not a canine from the realm, nor anyone else that we had no identification upon.” A silence followed before Ozkun questioned me, “Should we take it straight to Yang? She might know what to do about this.” “She is not a surgeon however.” I protested, “Plus she should be safe from harm: our unconscious dragon might be a sleeper agent and attack her.” “Or blow her up as a matter of fact.” Suggested Zander as he released his button from the walkie, another pause of silence before Kyro called for ‘affirmative’. I just glared at Zander again for he gave me a soft chuckle and raised his shoulders afterwards. Lowering them again, I responded to him “Why do you think this unconscious dragon is a terrorist?” “Did the canine realm had those beforehand?” Zander questioned me, “There were lots. All of which were handled. Why?” But no answer came from him while Kyro resumed his conversation,

“Ling? What do you think we should do then?” “have the unconscious go into the cell underneath the station for the moment. We will keep him safe from itself and others. Remove any form of weaponry from him and his surroundings should we arrive upon the station. Other than that, keep him preoccupied. Do not let him think.” Another two beeps was my answered and I relaxed for a moment. I turned towards Zander who spoke through the following short quietness that had came over, “We should report this to Yang.” “Furthermore, give a sent request towards Sands and Cyber. Questioning them about investigating the interesting places that were within our radar that leads into this incident.” “Think it is towards that store that we had just talked about however?” Zander questioned me suddenly. But I never answered him which forced him to turn over to me with a slight concern over his face. But a smile deferred that however and we flew off; back towards the station once more.

Returning to the station, we had noticed Kyro’s and Natty’s returned. For they had already entered through the doors just as we submerged from the horizon. Out at front, adjacent to the opened doors were Ozkun and Maruja. Both of which were hanging their heads. Gazing at the grounds beneath them in silence. They had seemed to be looking upon something. Something that had caught their attentions somehow. Just as we had reached upon the station, we dived bomb upon the grounds beneath us. Flapping our wings rapidly to gain more speed. For just as we closed in onto the grounds, we flapped rapidly and leveled our wings just as we had touched down. A loud rumble was what awaken the two dragons in front of us when they raised their heads up towards us. First to speak was Maruja as she smiled before responding, “Fancy into seeing both of you here at the moment.” “We were needed at the time being.” I answered her, she gave a nod before allowing both of us to passed by them. Entering through the pair of doors. Entering right on in.

We were met with the faces of Kyro. Just as he had returned from the basement beneath us. His eyes met with mine. Yet his snout was silent for the time being. I only shake my head in answer to his silence and he gave a shake. Animating himself. By his done, he respond back “Had the others gave off the message straight into Sands and Cyber?” I shake my head in answer to that and he blinked suddenly, tilting his head to the side before questioning me, “Then who did?” “Gave it to Yang. She should come out of the office at the time bei-” And speak of the devil. We heard a door opened behind Kyro, just as the pair of us turned around and gaze towards the dragoness in front of us. Yang smiled faintly; nodding upon the silence before adding onto it “I have gave word upon the two other towns. They should return here by late afternoon.” “Great.” Both me and Kyro responded at the same time, our smiles surfaced upon our own snouts in the following silences, just when yang shake her head at us and turned around. Heading back inside.

Onto present time, we had stayed by outside of Yang’s room. A small gathering of us were there; awaiting for the sands and cybers to come forth with their set of clues however. The time now was a bit almost late for the afternoon and closer to the early evening hours of the day. My ears perked upon hearing the outside conversations which came from the snouts of other dragons and reptiles. I only exhaled a breath upon this point. A few minutes of silences had came and passed till Zander groaned loudly through the silence of the room surrounding us. Everyone turned towards him suddenly, wondering. But questioned nothing to the black dragon as some of us had also yawned or groaned, exactly as him. Another minute had passed by when the doors were opened at the time. We were all turned towards the opening of the door. Yet it was not the cyber or sand dragons that we were looking for at the time being. For she had requested us into finding something for her.

I flinched to Kyro and Zander; the two dragons gave an approving nod to me before taking a step forth from the small group of officers surrounding me. The dragon turned towards the two; led them outside of the station and suddenly disappeared into the evening skies. With another minute had passed, the silence once again came over to us. Thus, I exhaled a breath and shake my head again. With thoughts flooding my mind in wonder of where they were. Yet I never had to think about it ever again when the doors had opened for what seems to be the millionth time already. Thus, turning towards the door again. We had spotted them. The sand and Cyber dragons; only one at the time however which had surprised me. But nonetheless, I gave a shake of my head before walking up towards them.

“What took you guys?” I growled. Snatching the papers that both of them extended their paws upon me. Shy quiet and sometimes blushing were upon their faces and snouts. But neither of them stating nothing while I just rolled my eyes and pointing them out the room which they had complied at the time. Just as they removed themselves from the room itself; Zander, Natty, Ozkun and Maruja stepped forth towards me just as I unfolded the papers that both dragons had gave to me. Within, were some clues. Short and sweet; which was something that me and Yang had wanted all this time. As I read the paper, I gave a nod. But was shocked to believe that someone or something had recorded Kyro and Natty just as they had grabbed onto the unconscious body at the time being.

The first clue from Sands was this; “There is a den somewhere within Sands that is connected to Vaster. Hidden upon the citizens of both cities, that does include the officers of both however. It had seemed that this was the den that our culprits used to get from one spot to another. When we had investigated it; it was filled to the brim of drugs and alcohol. Tons of papers were found lying on the grounds, a brown desk at the center of this vast long tunnel either.”

The next clue came from Cyber, “Going into the background of the dragon that you have mentioned. We were able to pull up some interesting details. He was a criminal first of all. Five counts onto robbery, slaughter and bribery. Additionally, misused on ability breath. Yet he was arrested by Vater last and that does include the counts mentioned above however.”

“Well that is interesting.” Commented Natty as she raised her head up towards me, “A dragon that we had arrested last. Found once again unconscious. Is a drug dealer and criminal.” “Yeah. But we had arrested many at the time being. Including those that were not mentioned in the series itself either.” Started Kyro, joining in onto our conversation as I gave a nod to the red dragon when he had finished “Indeed.” I started as both heads turned towards me, “Should we question the dragon now, requesting him for his name? Or ask Yang for it however, make it easier for us instead of getting an argument with the dragon however-” By my end, our walkie woke up with static and we heard a voice come out from it. “Ling’s unit. The unconscious dragon is awake. You may integrate him at the moment’s time.” “Should we wait until he is a bit familiar as to where he was for the moment-” “no.” Came her definite answer and I just shake my head in silence.

“Come on everyone.” I started to say while everyone’s heads turned towards me in silence. Just as we all headed forth towards the brown door westward from where we were standing. Thus we descended through the white stairs. The place was empty and pitch black that it was nearly hard to see anything at the moment’s time. Yet luckily we had reached the very end of the stairs, having noted that it was quite short by comparison to the other staircases that we had went through in the passed. From other buildings additionally. Yet upon hitting the cold grounds beneath us, we all raised our heads high into the horizon and started to walk through the hallways of the cells before us. Whereas cells, whether empty or not, were adjacent to us and spread outward into the horizon where some of the cells had fain before our very eyes. We had walked through the hallways. Taking steps upon the following silence looming above us. With eyes up front, we spotted Yang who was adjacent to the cell that we had needed to be on. We all stopped, turned our attention to face the cell in front of us.

Towards the dragon who was now awake. He had looked a bit older than us by comparison and does look weak however too. His scales were brownish, although a bit of a dry mud and some blood dry were scraped upon his beautiful scales however. His wings were a darker color shade than his original. Upon up close towards this targeted dragon: Zander, Ozkun and Maruja held their nose. Flinching upon the overwhelming smell that they were witnessing momentarily. Kyro and Natty gave a small smile towards the trio; but kept quiet while I grabbed onto the white bars before me. Entering right on in. For I was alone. Facing a dragon of my own species. Our eyes met. Yet he never greeted me which meant, I never greeted him back. Promptly sitting upon the silvery chair in front of me, I leaned forward and stared at the dragon in front of me. A short silence passed by before my snout opened, the dragon suddenly interrupts. “It was not me. I swear.” I exhaled a sigh.

Because of this outburst; several of the dragons behind me looked onward to the dragon with confusement. Neither of them commented onto the behavior, although some whispered to others about something. Something that I was too far from them to understand. Growling in frustration into two things, I just kept calm and raised my eyes up towards the dragon in front of me. Speak softly towards him and extended a paw outward, grabbing onto his. “Now then.” I stated with calmness upon myself; despite my scales rattling nervously about the sudden initial outburst that had came, “First, introduce yourself.” The dragon shake his head, leaning on back with his arms crossed. Looking directly upon me in silence. I blinked at him suddenly, exhaled before nodding and went on with the questions.

For the following thirty minutes or more, we only talked about him. About his findings, about his operations, about his personal life and everything. Yet I had only wanted about the recent activities that he had committed however. Each time I tried to return to that line, he just delved off suddenly. Weaving through topics that were unrelated to the one that I had wanted. It was really causing me a headache at the time that I did growl lowly. Closing my eyes and frowning, but hanged my head before raising it to meet his eyes once more. He had a smirk upon his snout, something that I had never agreed with however. But just smiled faintly back before responding to him… another way.

“How were things with your family? That had caused you to be where you are standing previously?” The question did hit him differently that he froze upon the spot suddenly. His eyes stared at me for a moment; voice lost at the time as just his snout was opening and closing shortly afterwards. With his head turned away, he muttered something which caused me to perk my ears. I had requested him to state it again afterwards; he spoke loud into my face that the walls surrounding us rumbled and vibrates violently. Thus, he was broken. He started spilling everything unconsciously and unknowingly too. Every single detail. For by the time he was already done was the time that he opened his eyes, widening them having been realized of what he had done. A loud bang came afterwards, I looked up from my notepad. Noting that he bang his elbows against the surface of the table that we were using at the time.

He started muttering to himself; cursing underneath his breath while I rose to my feet. Turned around and flapped my wings, an indication towards yang about the operation being done. For she just nodded to me in acknowledgment while Kyro grabbed onto the door opening it. Allowing me out. Thus, I opened my mouth to speak to them. But Yang held my tongue and shake her head, tapping her nose while I watched her and sighed before acknowledging that too however. We have our information already; it was clear as to whom had done it however based on the context of what the unconscious dragon had stated.

Upper North. Beyond Vaster. Straight into Moon where our hybrids stands.

Venturing: Too Es

Upon the moon’s ascend into the night skies, I had landed upon the entrance of the trails in front of me. I turned my attention to the road itself; noticing some footsteps upon the road. Heading forth towards somewhere. I had tilted my head upon it before I folded my wings and realigned my head again. I stared down onto the road itself; but shift my attention towards the forest trees that were towards the sides of it. Gazing down onto the thickness of how the trees were, clenching up amongst themselves and left nothing or little of space for anyone that was trying to weaved through them. I exhaled a sigh and closed opened my eyes before realigning myself back towards the road in front of me. Gradually raising it towards the horizon in front of me, so I was staring down onto the black line at front. This was the only time that I had decided to walk forward and following the road.

I had thought back to the few minutes prior of me arriving onto the entrance of the road. Back to the gathering of my unit at sign with the ‘nineteenth hole’ or whatever it was however. When we had discovered that the hole was just a hideout; there really was no such thing as a nineteenth hole. For in the reality of things, it was always just the eighteenth hole. Especially in normal golf. I had recalled that I had ordered everyone to split up. Each of them heading into their own destination. Natty and Kyro headed Northwest to go towards that cabin that they had found along their flight. Zander requested me of finding the entrance of the road that had lead straight into the cabin, having seen something dug up there apparently. And Takakri and Ozkun were off upon their own, perhaps doing something that was considered off from the case we were attempting to accomplished. Upon which Zander had already noticed, but I stopped him from even coming after them.

My mind snapped a few seconds later when my feet had crunched underneath the soft sands of the road that I was walking on. A bit surprise however to see that the road beneath me was not hard like a normal road should be. But soft like sands on a beach. I exhaled a breath and frowned. But smiled on the inner side, thanking Zander mentally about the sands of the roads. I resumed my walk further and rose my eyes high into the horizon, staring out onto the full moon in front of me. The road itself was soft like sands, but kept up the illusion that it was indeed a road. I never knew if it was just magic or something else however, but I guess I will get more onto that later. ‘Once I get back into the Vaster library for research however.’ I thought to myself while my feet crunched underneath the soft sands. The road continued onward without end; furthering itself from the entrance that was behind me.

It took way too long however for me to reach the end. But I did so anyway. When I did; I rose my eyes high into the horizon. Snapping my thoughts off and came back to the reality of things once more. Staring down onto a cabin that was in front of me. A mailbox was off towards the side of it and adjacent to the road apparently too. Yet the road was directly forth towards the cabin’s entrance, which was opened at the time. I walked in. Curious about what the cabin holds; but was also wondering if Natty and Kyro had already visited this place already too. Regardless, I stepped in. The pure darkness welcomed me inside; blinding my visions so all I could see was what was in front of me. I growled, pulling out a flashlight however. For I turned it it and it illuminated part of the cabin. Shining brightly onto whatever object the flashlight was pointing upon, I waived it around gradually. Searching thoroughly upon the entire cabin.

But what struck me however was how small the cabin was. Yet it had some of the most expensive stuff within here. A golden vase, cow and toilet. A silver plate, bowl and towel. The rest were unimportant however. I marvel upon the six items that I had automatically saw here. A bit surprise into seeing these six items even here also; when in fact that this place is suppose to be a golf course. But my head shake upon the following thoughts and I suddenly shift my attention away from the six objects scattered around the cabin. Fixing my attention towards the ruined mirrors that were in front of me. Three were in total apparently; each one a small distance apart from one another. Each of the mirrors were equal in damage. Cracks, fog, exposed to air, etc. I stared upon each of the mirrors, one by one for a moment. Studying upon their features and whatever objects that they were reflecting behind me. But that investigation was cut short when I heard a creak upon the door. It had startled me momentarily that instantly, I whipped out my pistol and turned to the direction of the sound.

I growled harshly; even roaring out upon the tranquility of the darkness surrounding me. “Who is there? Show yourself or else!” “Ling?” A few seconds of hesitation and silence, thus came a voice that popped upon the tranquility of the silence and I stopped momentarily again. Recalling from the earlier debut, I had remembered that Kyro and Natty were sent to investigate the cabins. ‘Was it this one that they had needed however?’ I questioned myself, putting my pistol away before responding out to my own name. “Its me, Natty and Kyro.” “Did not know that the road leads straight here anyway.” “You be surprise.” I chuckled responding, smiling only faintly while both Kyro and Natty stepped forth from the door behind themselves. The three of us had gathered after a short while of silence; Kyro explained about the six items that I had discovered when I had arrived upon the cabin, first. I only nodded at the red dragon for a while, asking questions about each of the six items then. But Kyro just shake his head sadly; for even he does not know the answer to them.

We both turned our attention to Natty whom had found something interesting in the pile of crap that was scattered around us. As she turned herself over and faced us, we both tilted our heads to one side after a small pause of silence. Kyro was the first to speak however, “What is that?” “Some sort of broken transmitter or something. We had found it in the other cabins nearby here. But none of them were connected to the road like this one.” “Does that mean, this was the first to received such an item?” I questioned her, she shook her head “Perhaps not. Considering the others were in the same position as to where I had found this. Regardless, we should find a brown desk and two more that are lying about close by to this cabin.” “Then lets just go.” Kyro suggested, Natty gave an acknowledgement. Yet her head was faced to me, I said nothing while she walked off with Kyro. Leaving me behind upon the cold darkness of the cabin surrounding me, I exhaled a breath and walked back outside of the cabin. Spreading my wings quickly, I flew off following the road further from the cabin.

Whereas the winds blew against my scales, the shivering that had came upon my spine. My eyes closed, I thought about something warm and all of that was over in just a few seconds. I flapped my wings continued on northward; following the road forward as I had returned right back to the spot of where this entire investigation had began. The sign that showed the nineteenth hole. I dived, tucking my wings against my own scales as I descended from the night cool skies above the sign. Landing rather quicker than I had anticipated, I nearly stumbled off and flopped upon the grounds upon my tail. I exhaled and shake my own head, laughing quietly to myself before raising to my feet. Fixing my attention towards the sign adjacently to me. For from there was when I pondered about that werewolf. Wondering if he had already found the secret hideout that was suppose to be that ‘nineteenth hole’. But gradually raising my eyes high; scanning upon the surrounding around me. I had noticed that the horizon was quiet and empty of all creatures considered. For perhaps thus that no creature would be able to come out of hiding at night; if such a thing were, would they be scared of us however?

My eyes closed for a moment; reopening them again before I walked passed the sign. I headed north, I think and decided to walk the rest of the way then. But throughout the walk, I had not found that werewolf. For I had believed that he had gone somewhere far from the course, towards something else instead. ‘Was to something that had distracted him?’ I had wondered, curiously. But shake my head at such ridiculous. For I had remembered that he was the one who had arrived here first; before us however. Additionally, he did requested of us to join him into finding that hideout while he ‘plays’ their game. I exhaled a sigh and frowned for a moment; thus backtracking to the sign behind me now. Just as Zander had arrived on in; folding his wings and landing upon the ground. His eyes facing me, I met him before giving off a nod. Just as he had spoke, responding to the silence surrounding us however.

“Nothing. I- we cannot find anything that had resembles a hole within this course. Had the enemies left immediately upon realizing our arrival?” “Or had they already captured the werewolf by now.” I countered, nudging my thumb back behind me. Zander turned to what I was looking at, but a bit surprise upon seeing nothing there besides the plains. At my silence, he questioned me “You really think that the werewolf is captured that easily?” I fell to silent, allowing the black dragon to speak again “Have you forgotten how he had survived against his fellow canines, against the knights, against us and most of all, against everyone-” “I know.” I stopped him suddenly, not wanting him to continue speaking to him like that however. As Zander narrowed his eyes at me, he shake his head and responded in a much clearer tone “Where do you think he is right now?” “My bet?” I asked him, a smile faint upon the surface of my snout “Upper North and away from the course. Straight towards the real ‘nineteenth hideout’.” “out there? Outside?” “Quiet.” I snarled at him, startling him as he stood up straighter than usual “We have a job to do. We best stick with it as we can.”

Out conversation was cut short upon the silence that had followed. As neither of us had anything else to speak of, Zander just said nothing. Spread his wings and take off instead, heading Southward toward the cabin where I had met up with Kyro and Natty beforehand. At their mentioned, my face brightened up for I had wondered if they had found the desks that they were looking for. For quickly, I had grabbed onto my walkie, having remembered that I had such a thing and pressed the black button. A click echoed through the silence and I spoke through the speaker; “Kyro. Natty.” “We are here.” Responded Kyro despite some noise in the background. I blinked upon hearing Kyro; but shake my own head after it. Dismissing it as something else while I spoke directly to Kyro instead, “Have you found the desks that you were looking for?” “Yeah. But to our surprise, it is underground.” “Underground?” I questioned. Two clicks was my acknowledgement however.

I blinked in surprise; I kept silent for some time even releasing the button afterwards. Kyro spoke through the walkie, wondering what had happened to me in the meanwhile. Yet I had never responded back to him. For my thoughts were turned to what Kyro had said beforehand and I frowned, even raising my claw up towards my own face. Scratching it in wonder and curious before I hear another click again. I snapped my attention towards my walkie which I had been holding all this time. Quickly, I responded back with another click and voiced: “So how are we going to get those desks out from the underground then? How were you guys manage to bring them out with the other previous desk that linked upon the cabins near-” “It was not easy however.” Kyro answered for me, I chose to listen upon this point.

Kyro explained about using a various of items that was scattered around the surroundings that they were upon. Such as sticks, twigs, tree branches, machines etc. But when he looked upon the surroundings of where he was now, he told me that ‘he cannot find anything to use anymore.’ “Have you suggested into using your own claws?” Suggested Zander as he had popped into the walkie suddenly. Startling both me and Kyro as the red dragon flinched, accidently pressing the button harder than he had anticipated however. “Our own claws?” Exclaimed Kyro, irritation upon his own voice which had startled both me and Zander at the time. But we chose to ignore it regardless as Zander continued speaking, “Yeah. Dragons can use claws to dig up anything. Even getting into the flesh of enemies and prey that we had hunted.” “I thought we use our fangs for that one?” I questioned Zander, wondering where he was getting his own set of views. Yet like always, Zander had ignored me otherwise. I exhaled a breath, leaving it just that instead and left the conversation immediately. Flying off South to rejoin with Kyro and Natty.

The latter two were still arguing about something, most likely from the conversation with Zander however. The two held their claws into the air; faces facing one another with eyes narrowing and snouts running off as they should be. I landed upon them; a few inches away from the conversation at hand and stepped up towards them, coughing. The two turned their heads over to me and stopped immediately; neither of them having any more words than their silence as I only faintly smiled onto them. With claws held upon my sides, I growled “Where are the two desks then?” “Underground.” Answered both and I shake my head, “Where underground?” “Oh.” Kyro responded, his face brightened up suddenly. Thus for the next few seconds; he showed me where those desks were hiding underground. I was a bit surprise upon seeing them there; even though there were darkness that covered them up however. But regardless, I shake my own head and lowered myself down. Onto the target that was underneath me and started digging anyway.

Later on, I had disappeared. Hidden myself upon the cover of darkness underneath while a huge hole was left upon my own wake. Kyro and Natty, blinked for a moment and stepped forth upon the perimeter of the hole, lowering their heads; gazing at the depth beneath them as I think it was Kyro who spoke out towards me. But the high volume of the digging and vibrations that danced with my claws; covering my ears to prevent me from hearing anything else other than what I was digging upon. A few seconds of digging had passed; when I hit upon something hard in front of me. My eyes opened up; gazing upon the object at front and I faintly smiled before stretching out my claws towards it. Snatching onto its sides and brought it out from the wall of dirt in front of me. Thus, I threw it afterwards, up upon the air where it had landed overtop of the hole. But due to how large the desk was, something that was to my surprise however, it would not fit.

Kyro and Natty were equally surprise either too as I hear one of the two exclaimed as they had flopped upon the grounds beneath them. Both having gaping surprises upon their snouts. Eyes bugged. I hear nothing else from them other than the silence; to which onto that point, I just returned my attention back to the digging and searched for the other.

For at the time of midnight where the moon was hanging into the air, I had returned to the surface. Kyro and Natty were sitting upon the grounds adjacent to me; both surprise. But never had their eyes bugged out however. As I turned towards them, nudging them forward, both of which nodded their heads at me and silently rose to their feet. Gradually walking up towards the pair of desks; they simultaneously, rose their claws into the air and karate chop both of the desks. Breaking it into two and exposing that golden green orb at the center of both desks; I was a bit surprise upon seeing them ‘deactive’ the desks however, for in my mind, I was pondering for a bit more creative. I only shrugged and shake my head; silently chuckling to myself for believing such behaviors while my eyes returned back to the two dragons in front of me in question.

At the same time, they reached out for the golden green orbs in front of them. Extracting it from their respective desks; they lowered their heads down to the orbs that they were holding and faintly smiled upon themselves. Raising their heads towards me, I gave a nod to them. Our mission was completely however. Only that it was and felt not a mission at all however. Upon this, I just exhaled a breath and said nothing but to close my own eyes; remembering the short conversation that both me and the werewolf had beforehand. But the voices of Kyro and Natty had stopped me from going further as I had opened my own eyes and stared onto them both; just giving off a small smile before grabbing onto my walkie and forced a ‘fallback’.

At this; me, Kyro and Natty spread our wings again. We take towards the night skies; regrouping with Zander, Takarki and Ozkun which to my surprise had their own items at hand however. Zander founded a trophy inside one of the cabins. It was golden I had last remembered; but seeing it out upon the exposed air surrounding us, it was rather fainted of gold. Ozkun and Takari found something of their own too however. Something that was interesting at the sands of roads that they were walking on beforehand. Events after I had ‘circled’ around the course, searching for both Kyro and Natty at the time. Both of them had golfballs upon their claws. They were smiling faintly because of this however. But the rest of us just shake our heads; as we fled westward. Back towards Vaster.

We had gathered in front of the station where everyone else had landed upon the hard grounds beneath us however. As I went for the pair of doors in front of us, preparing ourselves to debrief Yang onto our mission at hand, my ears perked upon hearing Kyro spoke out of the blue. Halting me just as I turned towards him. For silence had came from the red dragon as he nudged upon the direction of where Ozkun and Takakri were however. “We still have to hear from what these two had to say for themselves.” “About what exactly?” Responded Ozkun with a growl, glaring at Kyro momentarily while he snatched onto his claw and snarled responded “Why you took two of the golf balls within the course? We were underneath the order by the werewolf that we should not take anything. But rather-“ “We do not take orders from him. Do we not take orders from Ling and Yang instead?” “Enough!” I snarled interrupting the two conversation as their attention was drawn towards me.

My eyes glanced to Kyro; then briefly towards Ozkun momentarily before exhaling a breath that breaks upon the tensed atmosphere hovering above us. Thus, I had spoke very quietly towards Ozkun and Kyro as their ears were standing upon their heads. “Indeed we were ordered by Rannar to take care of the clues and the investigation that we were suppose to do there. Not to interfere with his ‘work’ whatever that is however.” I turned to Ozkun, “However, taking two balls is very restrictedly forbidden.” Ozkun then growled at me again, just as he had about to argue back to me. We heard something running forth towards us.

We blinked, at least for a moment. Before turning our attention towards the source of that sound. To which we were surprise upon noticing that Rannar was coming our way. With a growl, I snatched immedinately the two balls that both Ozkun and Takarki had and threw them straight towards the werewolf coming at us. He snatched them from midair; gave us a wave and immedinately turned towards the right. Heeding into the corner where he had disappeared from our visions. Along with him, came something else that I was not sure of however.

“Why did you do that?” Questioned Ozkun while Kyro and Natty held him back. I spoke to him without any voice of personality whatsoever “Told you it was part of his: Now look at what you had made him do? Lead the enemies straight towards here. Towards Vaster station at the heart of Vaster.” Thus immedinately, I gave the signal towards the other officers whom brought out their pistols immedinately and opened fire; Killing the two ‘enemies’ that was chasing after Rannar. For when that was all said and done, I exhaled a breath. The door opened behind me and allowing everyone in besides Ozkun and Takarki. I only had to smiled faintly at them before heading right on in.

Venturing: Before Talking

“VPD! Vilican opened up!” Kyro shouted out, almost to a snarl as we gathered up in front of her door. We all eyed it for a short durational moment before Kyro sealed his snout, turning to us before giving off a short nod. Onto which I immediately nodded to him and we break through the door. We poured out from the broken door like water; fast and precised, it was just like we had practice long ago however. I had memories of it before I snapped out of reality and shake my own head. For I turned back towards the darkness that befalls upon us; staring down onto the living room. The first room that we had encountered.

“Clear!” I heard from various voices surrounding me; starting from Natty and ending with Takarki after they had spread themselves apart from me, each of them heading into their own separate rooms until I was alone within the living room. Nothing was here; besides the sofa, table and television. All lined up within one another. A picture frame was overtop of the sofa; the window was adjacent to the table. But other than that, nothing else was here either. I exhaled a breath before exclaiming out into the darkness “Clear!” “We gather up to Ling.” I heard Kyro reported, a mutter of agreements came in response. But none had complained about it afterwards while I turned around, glancing back towards the other dragons before me. For one by one, they all popped out from their own respective rooms. From Natty to Takakri, same as before. They all gathered at the living room, all snouts were sealed tight and eyes up front towards me just as I turned to meet their eyes.

“Have we looked upon every room within the building?” I questioned them, Kyro nodded in approval. No other words had came from him while our eyes met again, I gave a nod towards me and exhaled before turning back around. Gazing at the sofa behind me, however. A short quiet atmosphere hovered above us with no one talking upon this time. Nervousness was hovering in the air additionally it had seemed too and I had felt it upon some of the officers at the time being. With another minute of quietness, I turned immediately towards Kyro and spoke “Check the bedrooms.” “Already did, Ling.” Responded Muerno, but I shake my own head at him “Not the common ones. The ones that extended from the initial rooms.” Everyone blinked after that: yet it was Natty who caught on as she nodded her head and smiled only faintly. She nudged Kyro who twirled his claw around and everyone splitted up once more. Leaving me behind once more while I turned towards the sofa and the picture frame before me.

A short quiet hovered over me. But that was stopped when I heard over the walkie something that had caused me to snapped my attention towards it and grabbed upon the walkie once again. For as I picked it up, I immediately pressed the button twice and waited before I hear a voice called out from it again. It was Kyro who immediately responded to me, “We found it Ling. The room that was hiding from everything else.” “From what room is it extended upon?” I questioned, ignoring the answer from Kyro as he answered back to me after “From the kitchen room.” I break into a grin. Immediately, I turned around and headed out from the living room. Take several steps forward through the hallway and stopped upon the door onto my left where I had immediately entered right on in. Entering, I found myself upon the kitchen room. Zander was there, sitting upon the table in front of me. Staring upon the surface of the table until I called him, to which he turned to face me immediately and waved me off. I responded before regrouping with him as he led me down the left path of the kitchen. Straight into the room therein.

The bedroom was less impressive than I had initially thought of however. It was a mess; everything was scattered. From plans of domination and some other weird stuff that I never knew that deers could had. Turning my attention towards Kyro and Natty; I could see that both were equally disturbed at the pile of a mess that was in front of them. Same with Takari and Muenro however. But I shake my own head to disregard any more thoughts and stepped forth into the room before me just as everyone had turned to me immediately and waited. But they never had to wait that long. “This place is a mess.” “Indeed it is, ling.” Kyro commented, shifting his attention around the room we were in. Everyone else had fallen to silence; but gave a nod nonetheless. Upon this, I just fixed my attention upon the mess instead. Staring down onto the piles of junk and other stuff that were there. But something clicked in my mind that had caused me to tilt my own head in response upon it. The others had noticed and were equally wondering what I was looking at while I spoke towards them, even without making any sort of eye contact.

“Say. these piles of junks. All scattered around the room, had meant something.” “Is this farfetched, Ling?” Questioned Natty as she blinked at me suddenly. I frowned, nodding back onto her. She never answered me back after while she frowned and shift towards the piles once more. Takarki and Zander shake their heads, muttering something underneath their breaths. But none calling it out. I continued onward and explained to the silence of the atmosphere above us, “There are five spots within this room. Assume that the bed is actually our twelve. So, the first spot. Either going counter or clockwise here would be either the-” “Northeast and South, respectfully of course.” Kyro answered for me, getting what I was thinking about. I gave a short nod to him, faintly smiled. But all the while nervous because, this prediction can be wrong however. “And there are four spots located within the Northeast and South.” “We will take those.” Responded Natty with Kyro looked on to his mate. Takarki gave an exhale of a sigh before responding to me, “We will take the other.” I nodded to both of them just as they had fled the room. “Zander, take the central.” I said immediately, glancing over to the black dragon who frowned in response to me, but said nothing else.

For with a nod, he immediately departed just as I stared upon the five piles in front of me. Frowned and doubted that I was right however. For a curse and something else had muttered underneath my own breath, just as I lowered my own wings in dismay. I pondered hesitatedly about the choices that I had brought up and the significant order that was backed upon which. Though, despite being hesitated, I was also curious about the five piles in front of me. Pondering why each of them were position upon the NorthEast to South and in that timeframe only. ‘With only one out of focus however…’ A thought popped into my own mind, I tilted my own head and shake my head before I too departed from the room last. For I walked backwards through the rooms and hallways until I was ended up back outside into the midnight moon hanging above me. Where the stars shone surrounding the moon and the warm brisk brushes against my cooling scales surrounding me, I only shivered upon the impact while I rose my eyes high towards the night skies. Gave an exhale of a sigh and something else of a mutter following before taking off into the night skies afterwards. For I had fled, Northeast, a short distance from the building we all gathered, straight into the central buildings that the five piles indicated.

I landed upon in front of the building. My entire face lifted from the ground and stared upon the front door in front of me. I walked up towards it; grabbing onto the handle and pulled back. Entering right on in. The pure darkness was what welcomed me first after I had entered. Then the halls came afterwards just as the flickering lights from above had turned themselves on, illuminating the hallway and driving the darkness back a few steps further. I turned myself around from the doors behind me, towards the hallway. Dare I say that something else was there upon the opposing side. At the other end of the halls it had seems. I walked silently; my ears stand erected as I listened to the quietness and ringing surrounding me. I turned my attention towards the parallel glass windows that were on either side of me. Hoping to see something beyond the glass walls therein. But nothing was there; just an empty plains grasses that stretched far into the horizon and nothing else. I exhaled a breath and just walked further.

It was sometime before I had arrived upon the door to which I had grabbed it immediately and opened it. I entered through; I immediately grabbed my pistol and hoisted it into the air. Half expecting to see some sort of resistant or someone here with an ambush or something. But already noticed how the place was tranquility and quiet had me on the edge lately that I flinched upon a sudden sound that erupted from the silences and had me to forcefully turn, gazing at the source of the sound. But nothing was there. It was something that I had anticipated as I walked a bit further from the door behind me. I scanned the area around and about; staring onto the brown rows of tables lining up against one another from one wall to the other. Another door was in between two rows of table too. It was closed. I walked up towards the door to try it; having noticed that it was locked from the other side. Pressing my head into the surface of the door; I heard some whimpers from the other side. I blinked for a few seconds before taking a step away from the door, turned immediately around and glance back onto the series of brown tables in front of me. I continued walking through the room.

Thereof, I reached the otherside and here was I stopped and planted my feet upon solid grounds beneath me. I once more scanned the area surrounding me. Taking notice of the brown tables, the windows and the door that I had encountered previously and nodded my head before grabbing onto my walkie and pressed the button. “I found nothing here. Just some survivors hiding upon the kitchen room beyond the door. What about your ends, guys?” “Nothing.” Called in order; Natty, Kyro, Zander and Takarki who answered for both herself and Munero. “Guess we regroup into the room again.” I called back, “It was a waste of time, Ling.” Commented Zander with Kyro agreeing to Zander’s fact before a loud slap erupted from the speakers and Natty saying something to the red dragon. The connection cut off seconds after and upon the silence, I smiled before exhaling again. Retreated from the room, falling back to the living room we were upon. Indeed, there were a lot of things that never make sense. A lot of variables that contributed to finding where this deer had gone and went within the unknown town that we found ourselves in. My attention was drawn towards the five piles in front of me; but my head shake upon noting them and kicked one of them away. A shirt, I think, flew into the air and landed upon the wall; hanged by the hanger that was impaled upon the wall. I glanced over at the hanger momentarily then fixed my attention towards the window on the opposing side of the hanger, just as my own group had submerged from the door behind me. Taking up positions as we gathered there in.

A few moments of silence before Kyro questioned me about the shirt; but I claw waved it away and shook my own head afterwards. At his silence, everyone turned towards me and once more I shook my head at them. “I have gotten nothing.” I responded, commenting out of the silence while the others gave their nod towards me and spilt apart. For I had noticed that Kyro and Natty had immediately left the room. Heading forth into the kitchen that the deer’s apartment had. Zander was together with Takari and Munero; the later two just hanged around the bed, gazing upon the five piles before them. In the meanwhile, I fixed my attention to the shirt that was hanged. The same one that I kicked from the pile in front of me.

As I had found myself staring upon it, I frowned before walking up towards it. Snatching the shirt from the hanger, I tilted my head to one side and lifted the shirt up in front of me. I stared it down. Noticing that it was stripe pattern of green and grayish. A yellow symbol appeared upon its corner, three golden stars appeared adjacent to it however. The symbol was something of a crown perhaps related to something of royalty however. But I cannot remember what realms had this sort of thing and I had found myself shaking my own head again; frowning before discarding the shirt afterwards before departing from it. Zander, Munero and Takari fixed their attention towards me. Silence upon their snouts as I turned to meet their eyes. For a pause of silence hovered above us before Munero was the first to break the silence, “What was that shirt? Something related to her?” I shake my head, “Just admiring it.” I answered back, no hesitation and was just an legit answer while the three gave their nods to me before continuing in onto their conversation.

I exhaled a sigh, departed from the living room and into the hallway. Straight towards the kitchen room onto the other side. Where Kyro and Natty were gathered in front of the opened stove, staring upon its interior side. There was something indeed there: something that had taken their interest at the time being. I called forth to them just as I had entered; both turned immediately around. Fixing their eyes upon mine as I continued. “Just an pie. Sitting upon the rack of the stove. Not even sure why this was here.” “Why is it there?” I questioned them, before suggesting “Maybe it is her lunch? Dinner? When she comes?” I turned to the clock immediately, noting that it was already an hour after midnight. I bit my tongue; frowning. Just as Kyro and Natty exhaled shaking their heads, denying the suggestion in front of them while silence fallen upon our heads. “This is not going anywhere. We are just grasping straws here!” Exclaimed Natty who if I may add, admitted to what we had initially went by. “The five dirty piles of clothing was a stupid idea, I know.” I commented, admitting to it while both Natty and Kyro rose their heads towards me. I nodded, hanging my own wings.

“But it was the only plan we got.” “Something that had seem farfetched, as a matter of fact, Ling.” Responded Kyro and I gave a nod to the red dragon adding in, “Indeed. The clue was farfetched. Far from the target that I had initially thought of. But it was-” “indeed the only one we got so far.” Finished Natty while Kyro turned to her for a moment. Another pause of silence had came before I split my mouth opened. But before any words had came, our walkie had collectively opened up and Yang’s voice had called through the speakers. To our surprise, I had immediately grabbed onto mine and pressed the black button to which a response had came from her. The line completely cut off afterwards. With the silence hovering; Kyro and Natty fixed their attention towards me. Then gave their nods as I had done of my own. Thus before long, I was out of the room faster than I could anticipated. The others in my unit had already fled back to Vaster to aid with the SPD and CPD however.

Rejoining upon the central building in front of me; I immediately entered inside. Welcoming the pure darkness that had came by, I walked down the halls. Straight towards the other door once again. Upon me entering through, I noticed a light flickering in the distance. Yet the darkness surrounded both me and the light. I glanced around, shifting my attention towards interest within the darkness. Noticing how different the place was however compared to the initial arrival. Upon which I frowned and shake my own head, exhaling before taking a step far from the door behind me. Thus I hear a voice called out.

I blinked, so suddenly too. I turned around, glancing at my surroundings once more. Before settling onto the eyes of Yang who faintly smiled back towards me. In front of her was the deer. Tied up against the brown ropes. Wrapped around her three times it had seemed. Something was within her mouth, preventing her from even being able to speak. Not that it had mattered anyway. As I glanced towards Yang momentarily, a bit surprise upon her. She gave a faint grin and stepped forward till she was adjacent to the deer next to her and spoke straight towards me. “You were a little impatient when trying to find her. To that you had not check your surroundings of anything that had seem out of the ordinary.” “That the deer was located upon this very room that I was upon? How? Was the walls soundproof or something?” I exclaimed, a bit surprise while I met Yang’s eyes. She gave a soft nod to me causing me to widened my own and I frowned.

Biting my tongue, I growled for a moment and casted my eyes upon the grounds beneath me momentarily. Yet upon Yang’s voice had caused me to raise my head to her as she spoke explaining “you were right that she was in five different spots. Yet your coworkers stated ‘nothing’ upon their search of the individual spots, right?” “They had indeed confirming nothing.” I stated, “And that was where you were wrong.” Yang smiled faintly at me, respondingly to my comment while I glanced at her blinking for a while and frowned afterwards. “Her voice was in five different spots. Yet she was here upon the central building all along.” “What of the five piles of clothing then located within her room?” I questioned. Yang paused for a moment before turning her attention to the deer; immediately ripping off the gag she had as she started spitting. Cursing something before fixing her attention to me.

“The five piles of clothing were just something I had accidentally created while in my rush to spread my message out.” The deer responded straight to me, “Yet, like what your boss said, you were close. But so far. The message had been delivered. All of Canine and Reptile will response now.” She breaks into a wide grin, something that I gave a narrow upon her. But with the silence looming over us, we both heard Yang exhaled her breath and began to untie her suddenly. “What why?” “Do you not remember who she is?” “Is she the villain? The one who wanted to take over WWA?” “That was the fox. Something that you had failed to captured.” The deer responded, more like a spat towards me however. As she was free and she was able to get up onto her own feet, she lowered her head to her arms and hooves, slapping them upon the grounds beneath her before acknowledging it herself. Thus rose her head up towards me while she walked to my side. For she leaned into my ear and spoke, really quiet however

“The fox had been taken care of. No need to worry about it anyway. Besides, you might remember who I am honestly. I will give you but a hint:” She made a face, her brows narrowed gradually while she spoke departing from my side, “I am the daughter of the doe that had cause you much trouble beforehand.” And with that, she was out the door.

Venturing: Hide Shame

We were at the border. Arriving at the dead of midnight. When we had landed, my immediate attention was drawn towards the canines for I had something of a feeling nagging at me wanting to blame them for this crime. But I exhaled a breath and closed my eyes suddenly, remembering that it was not them at all. Rather, it was perhaps someone else instead. With another exhale of a sigh coming about, I suddenly shift my attention towards my coworkers; whom all of which kept staring at me within the short silence of our arrival. Thus I growled at them to snapped their attention into reality; all except for Kyro and Natty whom were already awaiting for me to really begin.

“Alright everyone. You all know what to do here right?” There was a couple of cheers coming from my left. None of which stated in answer from my right while Kyro and Natty just gave me a silent nod. For afterwards, everyone had splitted up into their normal suits. Leaving me behind with Zander who walked to my side suddenly. Within the following silence, I just gave a silent sigh before nodding my head towards the black dragon who nodded, mirroring me back. Thus we had started to look around the border at once.

The border was between canine and reptile for those who did not know. A fine white line was what separates us and a green large sign that is double flipped. Showcasing both reptile and canine on either side. It was like a golden coin that you find on the street. Or something that is related to the term ‘coin flip’ however. Regardless, the buildings here at the border were a bit different than the buildings inland. The reason is because, none of the canines or reptiles had wanted to live in the border. Additionally, if one were to ‘forcefully’ live here however, they would refused and want something else than to watch or live here otherwise.

All in all, it is a complicated situation scenario. Right, so the buildings itself were half or maybe smaller than the max height of the buildings inlands. To the point that we had started calling these buildings miniatures. No one lived here as a matter of fact. Everything here was abandoned, leaving all personal belongings behind. And no, the murders, killings, kidnappings and assassinations were not planned by us nor canine however. It is a secret as to whom. Regardless of me rambling on and on about the scenario surrounding us, let me tell you about the case we have for today.

The case is that, we have some problems here within the borders. As someone from WWA had significant placed both our forces at the border. Directly facing one another. The media of both sides had extensively covered for this; lying that fate into our wings which was nothing to be stressful about however. Remembering about the media had me exhaled another sigh before I casted my eyes back towards Zander while he himself had gone off somewhere, scanning the area for anything that could be important. But before I could call onto him, my walkie gave off some static after coming to life which had snapped my attention towards it. For immediately, I grabbed it from the walkie and rose it high while pressing the black button to which I responded to whomever was there.

“This is Ling. What do you need?” “We got something here, Ling.” I heard Kyro immediately responded with had me flinched upon his loud voice suddenly. Zander perked his ears up and turned towards him. For he walked by my side as he glanced over to the walkie for a moment while I spoke to the red dragon within the walkie, “Well what is it then?” “Its piles of scales and brown fur; scattered along the white lines of the border of the two realms. DNA analysis indicates that the brown fur was indeed the doe. Do you think she is the one responsible for this?” “Lets not jump into conclusion just yet however.” I growled back, snapping Kyro off while he spoke “Alright.” “First, we need to gather the clues. I need you and Natty to return a sample of that straight towards Yang. She might pinpoint where exact is our doe-” But before I could stated anything else, I already heard a wing flapped and winds howling in the static. I gave another sigh and shake my own head while turning towards Zander who seem to had found something already.

I tilted my head to one side while glancing at him. Poked him onto the shoulder even while he flinched and turned to face me immediately. I gave off a smile to him in response, before questioning him “Whatcha got?” “There is something northeast from where we are.” “A few meters off into the distance?” I questioned the black dragon and he gave a nod as a response, frowning while I nudged him forward. It indicates that he should take the lead which he did already as I just followed him from behind. We walked the steps forth towards the direction of where Zander was walking about however. Thus immediately stopped in front of whatever was in front of us. I lowered my head and gaze at the ground; spotting dead canines that are planted upon our side of the realm. “What is this?” I questioned, “A good question indeed.” Responded Zander with a frown, fixing his attention at the dead bodies beneath us. “Sure.” I stated, “But why were they all burn?” “Burn?” I gave a nod.

Pointing immediately towards one of the canine bodies beneath us; towards the black marks that was implanted upon their furs. “That is quite unusual.” Zander commented, thought perhaps himself however, “Do you think that the canines put them up to this? Were they the ones who left the border immediately? Setting themselves up upon here?” “Perhaps. But why did they anyway?” I question before shifting my attention to the canines once again. Staring down onto the burning canines before me. There were a lot of questions upon my mind; none of which had any answers towards however. I soon gained a headache afterwards because of this. But I just sighed to remove some of it. I shifted back to Zander and responded to him again, “Check for anymore of these burn canines. I go look over at canine.” “Are you sure that is a good proposition?” Frowned Zander, flapping his wings to better shuffle himself as his eyes met with mine. I gave off a nod towards him, Zander shrugged in answer. Thus we splitted from one another just as my walkie responded out of the blue.

“Letters and documents were found scattered upon the flooring. Some of them are burned down. Others were wet suddenly. But it had seemed that everything is fine and dandy however.” “Documents and letters?” I repeated their first two lines, blinking and a bit surprise by the words that they were saying. A couple of chuckles came from the walkies; something that I just growl at them for the time being. Thus, Ozkun and Murjure responded immediately to me “We kid. We kid. True there are documents and letters. But none of them are burned or wet suddenly.” “Do not kid about that.” I growled at them, ranting at them shortly before being quiet afterwards as Ozkun huffed for a moment “Geez Ling.” “Now what about the documents?” “Ah right.” Ozkun stated, his entire expression had suddenly changed from being sour to pleasant in a matter of seconds. Something that I was a bit surprise about however.

But my head shook to remove that thought aside while I listened to his findings. Ozkun had stated that the letters and documents were a series of conversations talks from someone anonymous towards the canines. It does prove my point that the canines were the ones who burns all the canines and scatter them around reptile to blame them for the ‘attack’ or ‘ambush’ as perhaps what the media had stated from both ours and canines however. As my head shook upon the side comments therein, I tried my best to pick up upon the conversation that Ozkun was stating about as he called “We have believed that this anonymous is the werewolf. As indicated by how the WWA only talks to the leaders of both realms. That does include Zephyr from Moon whom have-” “Enough.” I growled which forced Ozkun to halt his advances as he became quiet for a little bit and I take the time to speak towards him. “Go head forth to Yang. We are needed there otherwise.” “What did she wanted at this time now?” He frowned, before gruesomely obeying the command.

As his line died, I exhaled a breath and closed opened my eyes before shifting my attention back towards Zander who was behind me all this time. I flinched when turning to meet up with him; growling at him in response despite the black dragon only chuckling back onto me suddenly. A soft smile written across his face for some reason. With my eyes rolling at him, I had gave him the command as the previous two groups which Zander gave a nod of before spreading his wings. I had mirrored him suddenly. Taking off from the border of canine and reptile, we flew westward. Backtracking to our hometown however.

Upon us landing in front of the station; Kyro, Natty, Ozkun and Murjur were the first to greet uss after we had entered through the front doors where a freshly air came upon our scales making me shiver suddenly. Kyro, Natty Ozkun and Murjur were on either side of Yang whom formed her claws raising her eyes, fixing onto me. I stared at her back before giving off a silent nod. She breaks into a smile before that had faded shortly afterwards. “I had called everyone here today to give off an announcement. You are all ordered to head further west. Towards the beaches and shores of the Oceanic Federation. There; the spies of ravens and crows will aid you into searching for your culprit better.” “Ravens and crows huh?” I muttered, before nodding after Yang. Everyone else had went to silence as they watched the interaction between myself and Yang. Yet when all was said and done, she promptly kicked us all out of her office. Back outside into the warmths of the reptile where we flew further west. Towards the shores of the Oceanic Federation.

They were something that we had not heard of for a long time. It did gave us and canine a former fear that they would rise again and attack once more just as they had done previously in those earlier stories beforehand. But since of the pact between ourselves, canine and Ocean; they had not. Yet that was another thing to fear since the Oceanic Federation have a reputation to backstab us when we least expected it however. For now, I was rather surprise that they kept this deal for us in a long time however. Considering that we had more problems to deal with than them otherwise. For example, WWA. “Ling.” I heard Kyro immediately respond to me which I snapped my attention into reality, realizing that I was just ‘hovering’ in midair. Above the sea of trees beneath us where only Kyro was the only one left besides me. For his eyes were towards me, I met them directly before giving off a nod towards him. He sighed in response, though nothing came from his snout before he returned to his flight and me following behind him.

Thus we had arrived upon the beach; the shores of the Oceanic Federation. A faction whom I grew to fear mainly because of their significant reputation to- ‘Ah what the heck, I am just repeating myself once more.’ I thought to myself while landing upon the soft sands beneath me. The other dragons immediately turned towards me; though most were quiet, Zander had that weird smile upon his face. Something that I growled straight at him, making him grin wider. Though everyone else was oblivious towards it however. When all was said and done, I cough to gain everyone’s attention before responding. All the while pointing towards the forest behind us “We are order to head towards the beach. But remember that our main objective was to gain intel from the ravens and crows. Do not expose their positions towards the Oceanic Federation. We know what they are capable with however.” A series of nods came from each of the dragons as they had acknowledged the risk therein. Thus, we split up once more. Flying in all directions; fanning out upon our visions in hopes of finding the ravens and crows.

However, in the messed of the unnamed forest, it was rather hard to even pinpoint where exactly they are. For the forest trees were all thick and spread out. The branches were sharp and pointy that a misuse of our wings would prove to set us into flightless. Though we do have sewers back home. Shaking my head at the comment and side sections, I shift my attention around the area that I had found myself upon. Noticing how the forest were waving to one side with no winds trailing behind them, for a carry therein however. I turned towards one of the trees and ran towards one of them. Raising my eyes high towards the branches above me, I spotted someone there and I immediately called him out. That figure flinched suddenly before hanging his head, meeting my eyes. For a smile drifted from his beak before flapping his wings rapidly in greeting, responding to me.

“Ling! How is Yang? How is everyone?” The raven responded, I just gave a nod to each of his questions while the raven smiled suddenly, acknowledging it otherwise. Then his smile faded afterwards and before long he had wore a serious face upon himself. Something that I grew to shiver however. As our eyes met once more, I immediately questioned the raven about his findings. “Where?” He asked me, “To the Oceanic Federations or the culprit behind your case?” “The latter choice.” I commented and he nodded again. “I see… well here is what I know so far.” The raven stated, before reciting the words ‘An enemy was found walking through the woods; entering straight into Vaster and back again for some reason. Crows had stated that they were dressed up as a reptile; just to delivery whatever goods they have straight towards the shores of the reptile. It all was located at the border. Yet some of us were wondering ‘why.’ “There is a couple theories why. None of which we can prove to be correct however.” “Due to how…” the raven questioned, hesitated as I answered for him, “...open this case is? Yeah. We have two culprits in mind. Both of which are from WWA. The doe and the fox. Because I think, the DNA analysis is somewhat wrong with the brown fur we had found at the border.”

“The brown fur?” I gave a nod, “Yeah.” “That is for sure the doe. Although a fox would be better ideal however considering that there were a lot of brown fur running about within canine. Or it could be that bear.” “But the bear had not made its appearance yet in here.” I protested, the raven gave me an eye for a moment and following it were the silence. I gave a sigh and shake my head, responding to the raven suddenly “Fine. I, I mean, we will consider that however.” At the raven’s nod, I gave another sigh and said nothing else more other than to stepped away from the raven and walked through the forest’s path. Did I ever mention that the paths were so narrowed here. It was because of the trees becoming thick and the branches make it hard to even fly anywhere these days. It was easier for the ravens and crows considering that they all were just small mammals as as matter of fact. But us dragons? It was impossible and I dreaded it. For sometimes I had wished I was small to fit through the forest, easy to maneuver around instead of walking. Additionally, can fly off into the skies whenever I had wanted however.

But as another sigh had came and another thought passed, I stand my ground and waited while Zander, Kyro, Natty, Ozkun and Murjure emerged from their hiding spots surrounding me. When we all gathered, I gave a nod towards the others and muttered something only they could hear “Crow.” Thus, Kyro and Murjuder were the only ones to speak as they recite whatever had the crow spoken towards them. ‘There was some enemy dressed up as a reptile; some of the clothes within the costume looked to small for him that some of it were ripped apart. At least for a few more inches perhaps. Regardless, whom you are looking for a small character. Not a doe; not a canine or reptile. Certainly not us or Ravens or Seagulls as a matter of fact. It is someone whom is never mentioned within the realm’s history; first appearance upon the mention of the WWA.’ “Are you kidding me.” I exclaimed which cause some officers to glance my way in surprise while Zander and Kyro flinched suddenly at my outburst, the others remained silent.

I sighed before opening my eyes. Fixing my attention towards the other dragons in front of me, I gave a nod straight towards them. Only Ozkun and Zander responded to me with their own nods while everyone else had fell to silence. With another sigh, I reopened my eyes again and spoke reciting everything that we had learned so far. “So; we know that the canines were burned at our side of the border. There are letters and documentations found that relate to the conversation between Rannar and the anonymous being at WWA. We saw the piles of scales and brown fur within the borders of the two realms which we had assumed was either canine or Doe from REC.” “But all of that was pushed aside because of crow’s statement.” I growled. “So who is right is the main question.” Kyro answered for me, realizing the situation that we had found ourselves upon. “We only get one answer for this: If we fail. Then the entire realms will acknowledged this and turn towards war.” I commented, warning them as I had recalled from the media about an oncoming war that may break the peace between canine and reptile, if by condition of the VPD’s failure.

Everyone fell to silence. For no one had an answer towards this. I felt my own heart pounding in my own chest as a result of things. Reciting and replaying that television media’s quote over again. Upon which I gave an sigh, closed opened my eyes and responded “We do not have to think about it now. We can discuss it with Yang for the time being to arrive for an answer.” “Is there one more clue that we are missing?” Questioned Ozkun as his voice popped into view and forced myself to turn towards him. Upon his question, I had blinked in response. Then raised my head towards the night blue skies above us, pondering for a moment before speaking to him “I do not think we are missing one however. If we are: relay it to us instead of just holding it back upon the last moment such as this.” Ozkun gave a nod towards me, a weak one as a matter of fact however. For as he stepped forth from the half circle that everyone else had made, he relay the information that he had found.

“There was a weird machine within canine that had forced canines to shrink down in size. Towards fennecs if I recall correctly. Perhaps this was what allowed them to move from one realm’s border to another without any interference or being killed/murdered on the spot. The machine is old now and abandoned which made me think that the canines had used this to frame themselves. Manipulating the crow’s dialogue just to sway towards some unidentified third party character-” “That is it!” I responded cutting Ozkun off immediately as he flinched, blinking at me before questioning “Wh… What?” “That is the answer that we are looking for.” I stated, “The weird machine that you had found at canine. That is why the crows were unable to identify the canines. They had not seen a fennec beforehand.” “Because there is no fennecs to begin with.” Realized Kyro with his eyes widening, everyone else nodded also, acknowledging the conclusion of the answer we had came to.

“With that out of the way.” Stated Murjur as she stepped out from the half circle line and everyone else, including me turned towards her. “How do we go and approach this problem at hand? Surely we need to find the fennec costume and the culprit behind it.” “We cannot find the culprit behind it; if we were to assume that the effects of the machine is temporarily.” I said towards Murjur who looked a bit surprise at that side of the question. But before I could state any further, Ozkun protested “The machine’s effects are permanent. Check the manuel of it that was already cast to the side since of course, they knew how to operate it already.” “If the effects are permanent. Then we can find him/her.” Kyro commented, everyone nodded their heads as a firm plan began developing in my mind.
