Happy Valentine's Day! I made a nice little story featuring some of my polyamorous characters! A story wherea throuple making their last minute gifts for the romantic day. Thanks for reading!

“I'm home," Sieg announces with a gruff voice, entering the workshop with bags full of food and a box of chocolates. Nothing. The panther with red eyes listens a little bit more, listening for any specific creaks or breathing. When he's sure no one is home, he smiles, ready to start his personal work.

“Guess those two are still out," he thinks as he quickly puts away the groceries. “Hyde should still be at the Herbalist shop and Augar told me he'll be out gathering materials with that pair," he recalls as a certain red cat and white lion comes to mind, “those two are a couple if I remember correctly, so they should be out on a date today, not risking their lives in the forest. Even so, they're strong enough to be on their own, so why is Augar coming with them too?" As he finishes storing the food away, he looks over towards the workshop's crafting station, noticing a crate filled with crafting material along with a mess of lumber scattering around.

Suspicion soon covers the panther as he stares at the mess, a singular thought coming to mind. “I see," Sieg tiredly notes as he walks over to clean the mess, “I'll have to scold him about this when he gets back." He lets out a soft smile before continuing, “he sure sucks at lying, but I can't wait to see what he'll give us this year." With a bit of motivation of what's to come, the panther gets up, puts on a long leather apron, and grabs his blacksmithing tools. He whistles a little tune as he walks around the workshop, grabbing the metals and materials he needs for his own gift before calmly crafting a symbol of his love for his partners, using the flames of the furnace and the heavy beating of a steel hammer.

On the other side of town, one of Sieg's partners, a blue lizard named Hyde, happily skips around the park, bundles of leather in one hand, a wooden magic staff in the other, and a brown, leather bundle wrapped tightly on the right side of his waist. “Today's a great day," the lizard playfully sings, his tail wagging, “I got to do some training with the big dragon and his bf gave me the leather I needed! All I need now is to make my gifts and I'll be set for Valentine's Day!" He soon reaches the plaza, one with a giant fountain in it with couples taking up some space on the rim of the structure. He lets out a cute aww as he goes through every couple spending time with each other before finding himself a table and chair to sit at.

“Shame I couldn't bring them today, we would have such a cute time together," Hyde lightly sighs as carefully places his staff and bundles of leather to the side of the table, “but the two said they were going to be busy today." He dejectedly rests his head against the table, but soon smiling as he enjoys the breeze and sunlight. “Most likely, they're trying to prepare their gifts for today too, just like me," he confidently declares as he starts planning ahead, “I should probably get some dinner on the way back. Knowing Sieg, he's probably going to spend most of the day blacksmithing, so he's totally going to forget that it's his turn to cook today." He quickly realizes he was letting his mind drift off towards food, so he claps his hands hard against his cheeks, causing some people to cautiously look at him.

“Focus Hyde, focus," he loudly reminds himself as he takes out his leather bundle, “think about food later! Let's get this done so I can come home and impress my hubbies with gifts!" He lets out a sinister chuckle as unrolls the bundle on the table, revealing a set of leatherworker's tools, and starts crafting by shredding the leather he was gifted.

As both Sieg and Hyde work on their own crafts, their last partner, Augar the big, burly, brown bear, sits calmly in the middle of the forest. He's in the middle of whittling some wood as his giant steel greatsword sits behind him alongside some carpenter's tools. He stops momentarily, a thought coming to his mind as he remembered he left the workstation a mess. “Shit," the big bear lets out with a heavy voice, “I forgot to put away the mats again. Sieg's definitely going to hound my ass tonight." He immediately shrugs it off as he soon imagines his angry panther.

“Oh well, I'll just repay him later tonight," he promised himself before continuing to whittle down the wood in his hand. He looks around, searching for his companion, realizing he was nowhere to be seen. “Hey Omega, where'd you go?"

“I'm here," a white lion with a singular blue streak in his mane hollered back before soon appearing out of the bushes, “sorry about disappearing on you, I was checking the perimeter. How's the whittling going?"

“It's going good," Augar happily replied, “thanks for coming with me by the way. I don't have to worry about monsters attacking me while I do some work."

“It's fine, Bled was a bit busy today, so I had nothing else to do." Omega sits comfortably next to the bear, immediately noticing he's making a wooden carving of a familiar cat while a carving of the lion rests on top of a nearby wooden stump. “Oh, I didn't know you were making one of him as well," he remarked, “I thought you were just going to make one of me as thanks."

“I was originally," the bear truthfully answered, “but I think it'd be better if you make both. That way, when you give them to him, you can put them next to each other so they look cute together."

“Oh, I see, thank you," the lion blushed before asking, “I know lessons aren't today, but mind if you teach me how to whittle a bit? I kinda wanna try it out."

“Of course, I have some spare tools you can use, just hand me my bag and I'll teach you." Though it was a bit rough for the lion, with a bit of patience from the bear, the pair took their time whittling before deciding to head back to town.

When Augar returns back home, he is greeted with his blue lizard in the dining room, unpacking some food he ordered whilst the scar-riddled panther was upstairs as he came out fresh from the shower. “Welcome home," the two greets, the lizard being happier compared to the other one, who was glaring some piercing daggers with his red eyes.

“I thought you were cooking today," Augar pointed out towards the panther, who immediately blushed.

“I-I was a bit busy using the furnace today," Sieg admitted with a bit of embarrassment.

“That's fine," Hyde happily reassures as he walks towards the entrance, “I got us food since I thought it was my turn today. I was away from home longer than I thought, so I ordered some food from that seafood restaurant." The lizard happily hugs the bear while also admiring the panther's muscled, scarred body. “I'll get the food out, so you two get ready for dinner, ok?" Both the bear and the panther nod as the lizard happily waltzes back to the dining room.

The bear climbs up, towering over the panther as they both face each other with a smile. “You look absolutely gorgeous as always Sieg," the bear compliments as he tenderly hugs the panther, stroking his soft, clean fur, causing the hardened feline to soften up and purr a bit. “Sorry about the mess, I was in a hurry meeting up with Bled and Omega. I can repay you for the mess another time."

“Y-You're fine," the panther accepts as he lightly buries his muzzle against the bear's chest, “we can talk about that later. Go get a shower, you stink a bit."

The bear lets out a hefty laugh before lovingly noting, “alright, but what about you? You just hugged this stinky bear when you just cleaned your fluffy, soft fur, you wanna take that shower together?"

“...S-Sure," the panther answers, causing the bear to immediately drag him back to the bathroom. Once the two were clean, the two head down to see Hyde happily waiting at the table, with three little, blue boxes wrapped up nicely next to him on his right while a lot of food sits in front of him. With open arms, the lizard happily invites his partners to join him, leading to all three of them happily eating at the table together, dining and chatting about the world around them. “Oh! Before I forget," Hyde speaks out as he pushes two boxes towards his lovers, Sieg on the right while Augar on the left, “I got a gift for you two, I made it myself."

The two warmly smiled back, before realizing they needed to grab theirs as well as they excused themselves away from the table. Augar comes back with two boxes, both of them having a bit of an earthy smell as they are both wrapped in green paper. Sieg comes back with one big box as he carefully carries it and places it on the table with a light thud, with the help of his husbands moving the empty dishes away. With everyone's gifts up and presented, Hyde quickly, yet excitedly, suggests that everyone will open up his small gift.

Opening up the little box, it reveals a small, leather wristband made with high-quality materials. Each of the little boxes contains their own, unique band as Hyde personalized it for the person he made it for. Sieg's band was a simple, glossy, black leather band as the strings used to tie it together were dyed in a crimson red color. Augar's band is a brown leather band that has some extra faux leaves of leather added on to the sides of it. Lastly, the band that Hyde made for himself is an entirely blue leather band with purple strings with a bit of skulls and bones patched onto it. Both Sieg and Augar happily thank Hyde for the gift as Sieg neatly puts it back in the box. Next up was Augar's gift, who happily put on the wristband Hyde made for him.

Both Sieg and Hyde opened up the earthy gift, opening the box to reveal a wooden carving of the respective people. Both of the carvings have the top featuring a 3D portrait while the base of it has carvings etched onto them. Sieg's carving has multiple weapons that he has created over the years etched into the wood while a flaming border separates the collection from the floor and the portrait. Hyde's has his carving etched with a flowing water border while images of potion bottles and clothes are etched onto it. While both of them admire the craftsmanship of the craft, the bear pulls up his own carving, one decorated with a leafy border with tools and books etched into it. The three happily grouped the carvings together, making sure they're huddled closely as Sieg starts opening the last gift.

Unveiling the big box reveals a metal figure art piece that represents the three of them together. The figure was shaped as a 3d shaped heart, but made with three sides that all convene and connect together to the middle of it. Each of the sides are colored based on the fur or scales of the individual, Sieg's shining black fur, Augar's thick brown fur, and Hyde's vibrant blue scales. It was specifically designed by the panther to ensure that whatever side you see, it'll form a heart as all sides form one with each other. Though it took some explaining from Sieg, who was blushing throughout the whole time, both Augar and Hyde had an idea to add more to it.

The bear first removed the bracelet made for him as he placed the carving down before wrapping the band on it, ensuring that it's squished between the black and blue sides that make the heart. Hyde joins in too, making sure his gifts are placed between the brown and black sides that make his heart. As the lizard and bear happily smiles and move their pieces, Sieg's face turns even darker as he adds his between the blue and brown sides.

“Perfect," the bear happily exclaims as he wraps both his arms around the lizard and panther, “it looks great with all our work added together, don't you think?" The lizard rapidly nods, his body vibrating with happiness while the panther shyly lets out a short 'yeah.'

The three cleans up the dishes on the table, working together to get the work done quickly, sometimes playfully messing around with each other. Augar and Hyde went upstairs, ready to call it a night, with Hyde immediately racing up the stairs while Augar takes his time. They both notice Sieg still at the base of the stairs, soon calling for him to come up to join them in bed, snapping him out of his gaze. He looks back at the crafts one last time before turning the lights off and heading to bed, ready to embrace the end of the day with his two lovers by his side. “Happy Valentine's Day," the three tiredly spoke as they tightly hugged each other closely, slowly falling asleep.
