GENERAL INFORMATION!!!!

Sammi grew up in the city. He had a good childhood and a good family growing up. His family does not always agree with his lifestyle or choices, but they support him through and through. Very little to no trauma and a very good boy. He found out he was Asexual after highschool when he discovered that he has very little sexual motive/drive. He and Marilyn grew up together and see each other as best friends / siblings. He loves to ramble and yap about his interests. It was him who thought of the idea to be in a band after school. He joined highschool marching, concert, and jazz bands playing all sorts of drums and percussion instruments. He brought the idea to Marilyn who was all in on the idea and decided to join in on the big dream. Sammi loves to “Go big or Go home." Loves theatrical and big displays of affection to show he cares. It's very easy for him to make friends.

Marilyn grew up in the city as well. Her childhood was split down the middle. Not bad, but not always great. Her parents would often fight, leaving her a bit traumatized growing up. It was somewhat hard for her to make friends in school due to her size and super girly personality until she met Sammi. The two traded interests everyday, became best friends and nearly inseparable. She gained the confidence from Sammi to join the high school choir and found her love for singing. She won awards and was able to travel to the capital for an all-state competition. However, falling short, her love for singing never faltered and neither did Sammi's support. After highschool, Sammi came to her with an insane idea. A band. She would be the vocalist and Sammi would be the Drummer, she loved it. Hardly able to contain her excitement, she accepted, not knowing the future that awaited them.

Tilly is an outcast in this city because she is a protogen (basically a minority) and it is very hard for her to make friends. She has never been able to find her footing ever since moving to the city, but she soon finds the stars align for her. A poster ad for a lead guitarist needed for a band plastered on the window of the computer shop she works at. Seeing there were no cons to the situation (As she feels like she couldn't embarrass herself more), she plans to audition after work. After work, she makes her way to the address written on the poster and shows up to a house with an open garage. Hoping they haven't closed up shop for the night, she calls out asking if anyone was there and she luckily gets a response. Sammi and Marilyn look very exhausted and ready to give up the search. They see Tilly with a surprised look on their face (They have never met a protogen before). With no speakers/AMPs to plug in the guitar with, they were very nervous, then Tilly plugs the guitar in her head and uses it as a speaker. Sammi and Marilyn had never seen anything like it before. Audition goes off perfectly, Sammi and Marilyn sit there, mouths agape. Tilly thought she did horrible, but nearly shut down when Sammi and Marilyn both say at the same time “You're In". Tilly had just made her first two friends.

Melanie grew up with a strengthening mindset. Home life was tough, but it helped build character and her strength. She doesn't rely on anybody, because she didn't when she was younger. With a love for baking and bass guitar, she decided to go into culinary school. However, personal tragedy struck when she had injured herself. Her ankles to be exact. However, she did not have the money to continue school and get surgery on them, so she chose to keep going with school. Getting a job since she lived on her own, relying on nobody but herself. Her adult life was hard too. The job she was working pushed her with little benefits and small pay, but this is what adults do. Gotta grow up and act like it, right? There was something she looked forward to about her job. Every morning at 10am, table 8 these three would come in, spewing some nonsense that she found interesting. Something about a band? A cocker spaniel, a mouse, and a protogen had apparently scored a gig at a restaurant that her friends worked at. She loved hearing them talk about their dreams, even though she thought they needed to wake up and step into reality. “Expect disappointment and you'll never be disappointed." Something she tells herself when talking to other people. However, something in her changed when she heard the spaniel say “We still need to find a bass player before this saturday!! The songs we want to perform are bass heavy. Unless we want to change our whole arrangement, we need to find someone." Then, like she was on autopilot, she responded, “I play bass guitar." *WHY DID YOU SAY THAT??* “Wait seriously? We've been coming here for how long and you're just now telling us this!? Can we hear your stuff??" “Uhh… Sure..?" After that, it was pretty much decided by the group. “We want you in!! Would you want to perform with us?" “I uh, I think I'll pass, I'm not really in the performance game." “There's a pay cut," said Marilyn, slyly. “Fuck yeah, I'll play." This is how the whole band gets together.

Aiz has been a show manager and tries to find the next big act. The last couple of bands he has tried to manage had failed to succeed. This apparent failure has shown to be frustrating. However, he does not let his frustration show through his extreme professionalism. He sees species who are unorganized to be beneath him, making passive aggressive comments to those who he targets (Mostly Sammi). Even though he likes to aggravate Sammi (and sometimes Marilyn) he proves to be a very good manager. Always keeping up with schedules, receipts, and times for the band. He is at the restaurant the band first performs at and offers to be their manager. After much debating (and bellyaching from Sammi) everyone eventually agrees. He calls Sammi nicknames that make him upset like “Pup, Puppy, Canine, Dog" etc. Puppy is the one Sammi hates the most.

Ollie is a very hard worker. He is in the friend group with Melanie and Pommel and works in the restaurant where the band first performed. Ollie wasn't supposed to work the night the band was performing, but his boss forced him to stay overtime and help the band set up. Ollie proved to be very useful to the band with the set-up and was even approached after their performance (Which he very much enjoyed). Sammi and Melanie thanked him for his help and offered him to the next gig to help with stage set-ups. At first, he was going to decline, then Sammi handed him a cut of money. Ollie, eyes fixated on the 200 in cash, accepted their offer in an instant. Sammi and Ollie exchanged numbers and said their goodbyes for the night.

Pommel is a hustling college student. She is into her 3rd (?) year into fashion school and loves designing outfits. Pommel is in the same friend group with Melanie and Ollie and also works in the restaurant where the band first performed. Pommel was not supposed to work that night, but their boss made them stay and work with the band. While the set up was going on, Pommel went backstage to help with the band, but instead of helping with timing or anything at that moment, she found herself talking about potential outfits to be made when the band makes it. They all find her very charming and fun to be around. Before the band went on, they told her that if they become successful, then they want her to be their professional tailor and designer. Trying to contain her cool, she says thank you and leaves the room, but after she's on the other side, she squeals in excitement for the opportunity she was just given. Knowing that she has a potential future with this group ahead of her. She can't wait to tell Ollie about it.

TONES OF VOICE AND WAYS OF SPEECH

Sammi - Overly Excited and doesn't think before he speaks. Small city boy with a big heart and always speaks with a sense of warmth

Melanie - Thinks about what she's gonna say before she says it. Attempts to be polite, but is very stern and can come off as harsh. Almost like a mom

Tilly - Robotic and factual, but also with a hint of country-side charm.

Marilyn - Sweet as candy and very girly, but also likes to think before she speaks. Avoids the question if she thinks it's going to hurt someone's feelings.

Aiz - Cold and Factual. Very Stern and to the point.

Ollie - Very similar to Sammi, speaks with excitement, but thinks before speaking unlike Sammi. Very opinionated and out-spoken.

Pommel - Keeps to herself unless directly spoken to. Very opinionated, but doesn't speak on those opinions. Speaks with a college gurl attitude.
