Planting to Harvest
A poem that I made for Earth Day a few years back and finished when it still kind of was Earth Day but it got too late to post the day of but I’m posting it now also coincidentally the day after Earth Day. Did more Haiku, about gardening because that’s an earthy subject. Had a different thumbnail for this before but can’t find it so inserting this one in the meantime. Planting To Harvest
By: A.X. Bueno
Planting to harvest
Need bags of soil cut open
Pour in pots and ground
Seeds must be planted
To flourish in the sunlight
Into the desired
Flowers will appear soon
Fruits and vegetables
Follow soon after
Nurturing mastered
The results of hard labor
Yes savor them well
Pluck up everything
It was all more than worth it
Much is possible
