Sunny suddenly felt very tired, she looked over and noticed that Starflight was barely standing. They walked back past the winglet caves, and Sunny decided to poke her head into the Jade winglet cave. She smiled when she noticed that Kinkajou and Turtle were tightly curled up in the hammock, while Moon and Qibli were curled on the moss bed. She looked around, and wondered where Winter was staying. She turned back to Starflight, and they walked back to his room.

“Should I just move in?" She asked him.

He smiled. “I would love it if you did."

Sunny ran over to her cave, grabbed everything, and dragged it back into the room and put it neatly in the corner.

“Done." She smiled at him.

He walked over and lightly tapped the chest, making a mental note of its location. He smirked at her and nuzzled her lightly.

“Happy?" She asked.

“The happiest." He answered, and laid down on the bed.

He opened his wing, and Sunny cuddled up next to him. “Wonder what Michael's doing to the academy."

“Expanding the winglet caves, adding three beds to each of them, making twenty more winglet caves. Adding eight classrooms, as well as twelve teacher's caves. Expanding the lake, and reaching out to get us one teacher from each tribe, plus telling them they will be ready for more dragonets soon."

“Nice." Starflight replied.

“Maybe… Some of our own?" She looked over at him.

“I… I would like that." He nudged her. “What about you?"

“I mean, I want them of course, but all these prophecies and stuff kind of messes me up. Like, what if you have another one, and I have to go out again. I might not come back, and I don't want to leave you, never again."

“I get that." Starflight sighed.

“I hope things calm down, and soon."

“Michael offered to basically plan and host our wedding for us." Starflight told her. “Neither of us know anything about either sandwing nor nightwing weddings."

“Can he hear us now?"

I can hear you when you think at me. Michael's voice replied.

“Think AT you?" Sunny replied.

Starflight chuckled.

I can create a wedding for you, make it nice, and do all that you have no idea that you need to do.

“Like?" Sunny replied.

Get a dress for you, a suit for Starry here. Find a place, set it up. Your mother would want a royal type wedding for her daughter. I can do that, plus add a nightwing flair to it.

“We need clothes?" Starflight replied.

You don't need them, but some weddings have them, it's a visual thing.

Starflight turned to Sunny. “So, we don't REALLY need it then." He smiled.

Or you can do a private wedding.

Sunny smiled. “I like the sound of that better."

“What would that be?" Starflight asked

You two, me, and any other guest you want. I can officiate, or somebody else, if you prefer. Your mother, for example, or Glory.

“I kind of want to do that." Sunny replied. “What do you think?"

“I like that, a peaceful wedding." He beamed

“Then let's do it."

You have to tell your mother then, when she gets here. I'm not doing it, that's for sure.

Sunny nodded, and laid her head down next to Starflight's.

Sunny woke and looked down at Starflight. She had no idea if he was sleeping or not, so she nudged him with her snout. He jumped slightly, but relaxed immediately.

“Hey." He spoke, nuzzling her slightly.

Sunny chuckled, and got up from the bed. “The queens and the new dragonets should be there soon. I should check out what Michael did last night."

Starflight nodded. “I'll be in the library."

Sunny walked out of the door, and through the halls. She stuck her head into the jade winglet cave again, and noticed that everybody but Kinkajou and Turtle had already left. Turtle was reading from a scroll and smiled at Sunny when he saw her. Kinkajou was still curled tightly around him, breathing lightly. Sunny looked up and saw three new beds on the now higher ceiling. One was made of vines and looked like a bird's nest. One was made of silk and looked more like a hammock, and the last was more of a divot in the side of the wall, with blankets thrown on it. Sunny nodded at Turtle, and made her way to the prey room. She stopped when she noticed that there was a new tunnel that was in the middle of the academy. She walked through the tunnel, and eventually made her way to a large cavern, it was filled with items, and Michael was lying asleep on a bed in the corner.

“May I help you?" He spoke, raising his head.

“I just saw this tunnel, and wanted to see where it went." Sunny told him.

“This is the new center for the ML, I will be basing my academy work out of here." Michael replied.

“Okay, what kind of work is that?"

“This school needs help, it needs a better curriculum, better teachers, and just a better idea of what it's supposed to be doing. I sent out a message to all the queens telling them to each send one teacher here. I also informed them that we can now support twenty-five dragonets from each tribe."

“Have you had any replies?"

“Thorn has chosen Qibli, since he and Moon are planning on staying here anyway. Glory chose Moon for the nightwings, and is sending Jambu and Pineapple here for now until they can choose a better replacement. Ruby came with one of their scholars, he's a bit young but he'll do. I pushed Snowfall into choosing Lynx, and I think I'm convincing Winter to stay as well. Coral hasn't responded, neither has Moorhen. Hazel wants Willow to teach here, but that means Sundew and Bumblebee would stay here too. The silkwings are dragging their feet, but the hivewings want Cricket. That would mean Blue would come too, and likely Luna and Swordtail as well. They should be arriving soon anyway, Blue and Cricket agreed to help the Pantala dragonets settle here." Michael told her.

Sunny brightened, and they walked out and through the main hall to greet the new dragonets. After a few minutes, Sunny noticed a group of seawings flying in. The group was larger than normal, and they were all carrying weapons. Michael rubbed his forehead.

“The seawings don't like me because I gave them the gift of animus, and it caused Albatross's…" He trailed off.

“They blame you for that?" Sunny replied.

“As you can tell I am not evil, I brought you and Starflight together, helped the academy, and healed Tamarin. Also, Albatross would have murdered the queen anyway, she was torturing him. The magic just made him… A bit worse." Michael answered.

Queen Ruby and Queen Glory stepped out of the academy to greet the seawing queen.

“Ruby! How are you?" Sunny asked her.

“Good, thanks for asking." Ruby replied, eyeing the seawings.

“The mudwings and icewings are right behind them." Michael stated. “I suspect the new dragonets are with the icewings."

Sunny squinted, and she noticed flashes of brown and white behind the seawings, along with bits of yellow and green.

“So, who are we missing then?" Glory replied.

“Just Thorn, since you aren't bringing the Pantalans here." Michael told her.

“Ugh, the hivewing and silkwing councils are slow." Glory groaned. “It takes them weeks just to write a response."

“The silkwing council keeps arguing over who should be their teacher here. I'm going to wait for them to tire themselves out, then tell them to pick Blue." Michael replied.

Ruby nodded. “That seems best. Bringing pairs so it will be less crowded."

“Not necessarily, Blue means Cricket yes, but he also means Luna and Swordtail. Willow means Sundew and Bumblebee. Lynx should mean Winter, and who knows who else might show up." Michael told her.

“What about the mudwing?" Ruby asked.

“Moorhen hasn't made a decision, she wants to choose Clay, but he knows little about mudwings. So she might pick a random group and send them here."

“The whole group?" Ruby replied

“That's why she wanted to pick Clay, but she might choose a smaller one, like four maybe."

The seawing group landed in front of the academy, and Queen Coral stepped forward, frowning at Michael.

“So, the rumors are true." She grumbled

“They weren't rumors, your daughter straight up told you." Michael replied. “I'm guessing you still blame me for Albatross."

“No, we understand the gift you gave us now, how it's supposed to be used and the consequences of using it wrong."

“Then why are there a bunch of armed guards in front of me?"

“Because, you are a power that doesn't belong here."

Michael raised an eyebrow. “I have been here for tens of thousands of years, without any negative impact. I raised all ten of the original queens for both of these continents."

Coral flicked her tail, and flashed her wings. The guards walked away, and settled not far from the academy's front door. The icewing and mudwing groups landed soon after, with the Pantalans trailing in the back. Blue landed with a huff in front of Sunny, two silkwing dragonets hopped off his back and looked around in awe.

“Sunny?" Blue asked, and she nodded.

“Hi, you must be Blue."

Cricket landed next to them, and after the dragonets riding her hopped off, she wrapped her wings around Sunny.

“It's so good to see you." Cricket exclaimed “How are you doing?"

Sunny led them over to the side. “I'm engaged."

Cricket gasped, and hugged Sunny again. “Congratulations."

“To who?" Blue asked.

“Starflight." Sunny replied, blushing slightly. “Don't tell anyone else yet."

Cricket nodded. “Oh my gosh, I'm so happy for you."

Blue stepped back to give the girls some space, and started talking to the silkwing dragonets.

“What about you?" Sunny asked, lowering her voice. “Are you two going to get married?"

“That's the plan, but we've been really busy. Too busy to plan or do anything really." Cricket answered.

“I got a guy for that."

“You most certainly do not 'have' me to plan all of your weddings." Michael cut in, walking up to them. “Yours and Starflight's, yours and Blue's, Moon and Qibli's, Thorn and Smolder's, Willow and Sundew's, Luna and Swordtail's, and more. There are a lot of weddings coming up."

“Then it's good ours is going to be small, without any need of extra planning." Sunny told him. “So you can do theirs instead?"

“Are you two even engaged?" Michael turned to Cricket.

“Close, I think Blue is trying to make it as special as possible."

Michael looked off in the distance, then nodded and walked away. Sunny turned and walked over to Queen coral.

“Where's Tsunami? Last I heard she went to get you."

“She's safe at my palace, I think she should stay there from now on." Coral told her.

“What? Why? She's the headmaster here, we need her." Sunny replied.

“I don't trust him." She motioned at Michael, was talking with some of the new dragonets.

“He saved my life, and has helped many others." Sunny replied.

“He makes Darkstalker look weak in comparison." Coral replied. “His armies can conquer tribes much larger than ours."

“But he won't."

“How do we know that?" Coral shot back.

“Because he would have already, there is no need for all the secrecy when he has the brute strength." Sunny told her.

“He could change his mind, at any time."

“But that leaves the same point, if he is so powerful, how can we stop him no matter what we do?"

Coral looked down at Sunny. “That's a dark point of view coming from you, are you sure he hasn't cast a spell on you?"

“I'm not, but I just want to be real, we need Tsunami, and she can…"

“She will be staying at the deep palace." Coral replied.

Michael walked up to them and chuckled. “Sunny, are you sure that the prophecy said 'free the sea'?"

“Yes, why?"

Michael said nothing, he only raised an eyebrow at the queen.

“Are you threatening…"

“I am not threatening, only telling you about an interesting part of the prophecy that I might need to fulfill in your kingdom." Michael replied.

The queen scoffed, and stormed off towards the other queens.

“I know she's worried about Tsunami, and I respect that, but Tsunami's a grown dragon, and the only thing that's going to come out of keeping her there is a challenge as soon as you guys are in any form of danger." Michael replied. “And Tsunami will definetly beat Coral, without a doubt."

“What are you going to do?" Sunny asked

“I'm going to collect a team of water element dragons, and go rescue her."

“I wish I could come." Sunny replied.

“You can, technically."

“How?"

“I have a special device that allows you to breath underwater. But I think I should bring Clay instead, he can hold his breath for an hour, and he's more used to being wet."

Sunny nodded. “That would probably be better for everybody."

Michael nodded to her, and walked back into the academy, Sunny called the dragonets over and greeted them.

“Welcome to the Jade Mountain academy, I am so happy you are here and can't wait to get to know you all. Now, you will be assigned winglets, where you will get to know all the other tribes. We have tried our best to make comforting beds for each of you, but please tell us if you have any issues or complaints."

A silvery colored silkwing rose her hand.

“Yes?"

“Hi, uhm, I was wondering, since my metamorphosis is coming in a few months, where would we go?"

Tell her there is a special quiet room built for that purpose. Michael's voice spoke.

“There is a nice, quiet room built especially for that." You already did that?

Yes.

The silvery silkwing nodded.

“Are you Sunny?" a jittery hivewing that reminded Sunny of Cricket asked.

“Yes, I am, who are you?"

“I'm Velvet, I heard so much about you, and the other dragonets of destiny."

Sunny flinched slightly, but didn't let it show. “Nice to meet you Velvet, let's get you all inside and set you guys up with your new winglets."

They walked into the main hall of the academy, Sunny noticed Michael and Starflight were standing in the middle of the room, smiling at the young dragonets. She could tell they were communicating mentally, but she ignored them. She walked over to a desk that held the placement scroll, and led the new students to the winglet caves.

“Alright, I have a list of each other's names and placements here." She told them.

They watched as she stuck the scroll on the wall, and started to talk to each other in hushed voices. Michael walked up behind Sunny and chuckled.

“Imagine doing this with the other twenty caves I just made."

Sunny watched the dragonets as they made their way towards the sleeping caves to meet their winglets.

“The limit on dragonets reaches two hundred and fifty." Michael added

Sunny looked up at him, stunned. “What?"
