Jason was about to give up when he stumbled upon a false bottom below one of the dresser drawers as he tried to close it. the edge got caught and prevented the drawer from closing fully.

"you think we will be able to get close enough?" rex asked, snapping littlefoot out of his trance. he looked at his winged friend almost dumbly. "close enough to what?" rex giggled. "why to chomper of course!" he put his hand on littlefoot.
