Written as i see this sort of thing happen too often: someone has a great idea for a picture, shares it in confidence, only to have that other person commission the idea with their own characters and never even credit the person who gave them the inspiration
Distance
The gray muzzles were inspiring to talk to, especially if they'd been involved in it since before it was a thing. but it never hit entirely home. it was an identification, more than anything.
